Ash 150: Secret of the Pokétrix

Part 5: Space Battle Part 1
(As Mega Aggron's ship keeps flying through Space, away from Galactica, they have just learned what will happen if they do not stop the Pokétrix's Self-Destruct Sequence. Suffice it to say, the Stakes were even higher than they initially thought. Magearna says as Ash angrily paces the room).
Magearna: Mew is a hopeless Paranoid. He built in the self-destruct as A last resort to keep his most Prized creation out of the wrong Hands, but he never thought Anyone would be foolish enough to set it off.
Iris: Obviously, he never met Ash.
Axew: True. (Ash's anger boils as he yells at Mega Aggron).
Ash: I cannot believe you knew About this the whole time and did not tell me. (Mega Aggron says apologetically to Ash).
Mega Aggron: I am sorry, Ash. I thought you would be more Concerned about how this Affected you rather than others. (That confuses Ash as he asks him).
Ash: What do you mean? Because I help people all the time with The Pokétrix.
Mega Aggron: That is true. You do help a ton of people, but ask yourself this - do you help Because it is the right thing to Do or for the thrill of being a Hero?
Pikachu: He is right Ash. What is your true motive when you go Hero? (Ash's anger fades as he thinks about it).
(Back at Galactica, Necrozma's new ship arrives at the Interspace Prison).
Necrozma: Scan the area. (While Orbeetle Drones start the scan, Necrozma stands in front of a projected map of the area. He notices Celesteela's body floating on the map). There. Retrieve that. (Celesteela and Necrozma now view the map, projecting the Pokétrix's SDM signal with a Beeping sound).
Celesteela: (Speaking Native Pokémon language but manages to say the word). Magearna.
Necrozma: But they must not have found What they were looking for on Galactica. Their current trajectory has Them headed into the Aquitar Quadrant. What does Ketchum know that I Do not...?
Celesteela: (Speaking native language).
Necrozma: SILENCE! (Necrozma throws Celesteela into a wall. As he gets up, it readies its Rocket Arms at Necrozma). You had better be very sure. (Slowly begins Flexing his arm. After a moment, Celesteela retracts its weapons).
(Back on Mega Aggron's Ship, Magearna affixes a small panel to the underside of the Pokétrix).
Magearna: This containment device Should deflect the energy Fluctuations back into the Pokétrix, while still allowing You full access to the control Dials.
Ash: Lotta' good it does me If I cannot go Hero anyway...
Pikachu: It is for the best Ash. (A loud thud suddenly rocks the entire ship. Everyone joins Palossand at the bridge).
Mega Aggron: Palossand, status!
Palossand: (Purring)
Mega Aggron: Samiya...! (There seems to be nothing in the view outside).
Ash: Uh, where?
Axew: I do not see anything. (The ship suddenly enters a very dark, shadowy region. Palossand turns on the headlights).
Magearna: Mew created a device which Absorbs all the light of this Quadrant. Of course, I was the one who Calculated the entire Particle-absorption matrix, but will he admit that? No. (The kids, Pikachu, and Axew stare at her). ...Anyway, Samiya has an asteroid belt surrounding it. (Magearna said not wanting to admit it sold this technology to Space Pirates which wound her up in jail in the first place).
Iris: Which you cannot see Because Mew turned out all the lights!
Magearna: Exactly. (Pointing at spaceship wreckage as they pass). Those are failed attempts. (As the ship flies forward and re-angles itself, one of its legs scrapes against an enormous piece of rubble. Palossand sweats as he flies the ship; Mega Aggron pats him).
Palossand: (Exhausted chirping).
Mega Aggron: (To everyone) Even Palossand cannot drive blind.
Ash: How are we supposed to Get to Samiya if we cannot see it?
Magearna: The answer is on your wrist. (Magearna says gesturing to the Pokétrix).
(A Short time later, Ash finds himself in a space suit, out in space, standing on top of the flying ship alone with Magnetic Boots, keeping him from floating away from the ship and drifting aimlessly into Space. The occasional piece of rock appears out of the darkness and zooms past him).
Ash: Uh, explain to me again What I am doing out here?
Magearna: The Pokétrix has a built-in Homing device. We should be close enough for it to guide us through the asteroid Field.
Mega Aggron: "Should be"? (Magearna shrugs its Shoulder).
Palossand: (Chirps; and face facepalms itself).
Ash: Okay, this is way too creepy. (As they continue flying, a large piece of wreckage collides with the ship, knocking it off-balance. Everyone inside falls. Palossand realigns them).
Magearna: What are you doing?! You need to direct us, or the Ship will be torn apart!
Ash: Oh, great. No pressure. (The Pokétrix suddenly turns on, and the core pops up. It starts sending green pulsing waves throughout space. Then, the right button on the dial's ring suddenly lights up green and the faceplate tilts clockwise to match it). It is working!
Palossand: (To Mega Aggron sounding Excited by the fast chirps it makes).
Mega Aggron: I know, I know, I was going to! (To Ash) Should we turn to starboard or Port?
Ash: What?
Iris: He means "right or left"!
Axew: Duh.
Ash: Why didn't he just say So? (Ash looks at the dial. It tilts counterclockwise). Go to the right. (Palossand tilts the ship to the right, right in front of two massive pieces of rubble) I mean left! Go left! (Palossand makes a hurried turn the other way, but not before the pieces completely hit the ship).
Palossand: (Annoyed purr).
Iris: This is why we do not Give him the map when we drive.
Pikachu: I hate to say it, but she is right about that. (Eventually, Ash correctly guides the ship out of the way of two rubble pieces: right, then left. One piece snags the underside of the ship, scraping and shaking the ship as it goes by. Palossand sweats as he hits buttons. At a certain point, the Pokétrix starts charging up. Ash points it toward the darkness, and it shoots out a green beam of energy, which completely clears the shroud. Samiya, its asteroid belts, and all the rubble surrounding it are now fully bright enough for them to see).
Ash: I did it!
Mega Aggron: Well, done, Ash.
Ash: Yes!
Pikachu: Excellent Job Buddy.
Mega Aggron: Come on in.
Palossand: (Chirping. As Palossand presses on a small sonar hologram. It beeps, showing multiple large objects surrounding an arrowhead. Palossand's eyes suddenly widen as it Gasps in shock of what it saw. As Ash looks forward, the shadow of an enormous piece of rock approaches him fast).
Ash: (Gasps). A-a-a-a-a-ah! (Three gigantic drill-tipped cables break through the rock and hit the hull of the Ship, quickly burrowing into the ship, and shaking it so hard that Ash's magnetic boots fail and leave him to float away in space. Necrozma's New ship has its hooks in).
Mega Aggron: Necrozma. (Palossand opens a camera feed on his display, showing Orbeetle Drones approaching the hull and burning into it. Necrozma's voice echoes in the bridge).
Necrozma: Surrender the Pokétrix and Your deaths will be swift - Except, of course, for the Ketchum boy...
Magearna: We are goners now!
Mega Aggron: Not while I am in charge! (Opening a comm link to Ash's suit). Ash, I am sending a Gyropod! (Ash turns to the Pokétrix and begins to activate it).
Ash: (Selecting a Pokémon), I will just go Buzz and fly back. (Only for Mega Aggron to say).
Mega Aggron: No, Ash, we cannot afford to Accelerate the countdown! Now I am sending the pod! (Then Pikachu shouts to him).
Pikachu: You Can do it Ash! (Then he turns to Iris and Axew).
Mega Aggron: Iris, I need you, Axew, and Palossand to Keep him busy for a while! Pikachu You help them too, okay? (Iris and Axew nod then Pikachu nods as well. Then Mega Aggron pushes a button, and a small ship ejects from the ship and flies itself to Ash. Ash grabs hold of its hatch, and nearly slips off).
(Meanwhile, in a corridor on the ship, the Orbeetle Drones manage to drill out a hole in the ceiling. As all the air starts rushing out and alarms start blaring, a group of small and bulky Orbeetle Drones land inside and march forward. Necrozma and Celesteela land after and make their way through the corridor).
(Ash manages to open the hatch of the gyropod and falls inside. In this small piloting station, he has pedals, tubes, and levers of all sorts surrounding him).
Ash: What kinda mega-weird Pokémon is this built for? (Then the answers Dawns on him). ...Palossand. (Readjusting himself and pulling levers). Oh, well. How hard can it be?
(A troop of Orbeetle Drones carefully walk down a hall, checking doors as they pass. They do not notice Mega Aggron in a vent above them. He presses a button on a remote, causing the walls between the Orbeetle Drones to slam together and crush them. As Mega Aggron leaves, one Orbeetle Drone continues moving).
(Ash continues trying the levers while having a narrow escape with asteroids around him. With the twist of one lever, the pod really does something! A cup comes up to Ash's face and filled with a runny white liquid full of tiny fish). Oh, gross! (Bang! Something suddenly rocks the pod. Ash sees through the porthole an enormous rock coming up fast). Oh Man, where's Palossand when you need Him?! (If Ash did not do something soon, he would crash! A Fate that considered more lenient then being the victim of a self-destruct sequence of the Pokétrix).
