Standard Episode 3 : Sora's Secret part 1
Hey guys, it's been a while but I've decided to make another chapter of Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V Dimension Wars Standard Season.
As you've saw in the last episode, Yuto is about to duel Sora just like in the anime but way earlier than it since he's gonna pursue him right after his duel with Sylvio.
And as you can see, I'm gonna respect their duel just like in the anime, there's gonna be three parts and you've guessed it, you know what will be the duel for the last part.

Sora had finished teaching Zuzu all the Fusion mechanics so that she could be able to use a Fusion deck in her next duel and needless to say, the young boy was impressed of how expentionnal Zuzu had become, she had sucessfully managed to Fusion summon numerous Fusion monsters within a hour to which he felt that she was now ready to use that summoning method although he promised to Zuzu that he shall give her more lessons about the mechanic to which the young girl accepted.
The two had parted ways and Sora was strolling on the streets as he walked towards Central Park so that he could enjoy a peaceful nightwalking before he should do his next move as he has planned to call someone about the fact that Zuzu told him that Sylvio was beaten to a pulp by a XYZ user, if the information would be correct, then Sora was right about coming to Maiami City as he and his 'friends' had a feeling that XYZ users would eventually come to this place.
But as he walked, he felt that someone seems to be following him, as he slightly turned his head behind him, he saw a man wearing dull green formal shirt with a dark blue tie as well as a black-like cape-like garment with ripped sleeves and edges and he was also wearing black boot-like shoes, Sora drew out a smirk as he recognized the man since he possesed the same face as Yuya but he knew that it wasn't him that was following him, the man was using the crowd in order to hide himself so that Sora won't see him but the young blue-haired boy easily recognized him through the crowd.
Without a minute to spare, Sora willingly took a alleyway in order to escape his pursuer but the man (Yuto) eventually turn in pursuit of the young boy as he didn't planned to lose him that easily, he may have the answers needed in order to save Lulu.
Yuto eventually arrived in Central Park where he decided to look all around him so that he could see if he could find Sora but so far, he didn't see somewhere until he heard a voice.
"Well, well, looks like someone wants to pursue me while in reality, it should be the other way around" said the voice to which its source came from Sora as the young boy drew out his duel disk so that he could challenge Yuto in a duel.
"So my suspicions were confirmed, you are one of Academia's lapdogs!" roared Yuto as he prepared himself.
"That's right and you are one of the XYZ scums that the Academia asked me to hunt down in case I would run into one, that is perfect, before I can make my report, I can dispose of one of the trash" delighted the young boy.
"Sorry to dissapoint you but I shall be the one who will eliminate you but before that happens, you will tell me the location of Lulu's whereabouts" demanded the XYZ duelist to which his question caused Sora to look at Yuto in confusion.
"Lulu? I don't know any Lulu" said Sora.
"Liar, you were trained in combat, therefore, your commanding officiers should have told you about Heartland invasion" snapped Yuto.
"Well, I was indeed been informed of what happened back there, they've told me that Academia has taken no prisoners, once they defeat a duelist, they sealed him into a card and it might happened the same thing to that Lulu of yours" explained Sora to which his statement caused Yuto to grit his teeth in anger.
"If you did that, then you will pay for it!" said the XYZ user as he activate his duel disk.
"But, it might be possible that you could save her, all that you have to do is to beat me in a duel and perhaps you may save her or not but do know that you can't win against me" said Sora as he activated his own duel disk and the two men begins to glare at each other before they prepare themselves for battle.
Sora vs Yuto
"All right, I'll go first XYZ scum" said Sora as he drew his sixth card "I summon Edge Imp Tomahawk in Attack Mode"
A monster that ressembled a huge tomahawk with several axe-blades appeared on the field (A:1800/D:800)
"Now these blades will chew through your life points, if I send a Edge Imp monster into my graveyard, it can inflict you 800 points of damage into your life points" added the young boy as he threw Edge Imp Frightfuloid so that Edge Imp releases a gust of wind on the field which caused Yuto to fly off the arena and hit a wall which leaves out a impact crater on it (Yuto:3200) and he eventually falls to the ground "consider this as a welcome gift from me so that you would know that you can't beat me at the end".
Yuto eventually gets up from his position gritting his teeth as he drew a card.
"Don't think that I will go down that easily, I summon Phantom Knights of Ancient Cloak in Attack mode" said the XYZ duelist as he summoned a monster that ressembled a ghost wearing a dark cloak and with four flames sticking next to it (A:800/D:1000).
"That's the best that you could do? I guess that I'm not surprised by your weakness after all" mocked the young boy but Yuto resumed his turn while he shot a dark glare at the blue-haired boy.
"Since I have a Level 3 Phantom Knight on my field, I can special summon Phantom Knights of Silent Boots from my hand!" said the dark duelist as he special summoned a monster that ressembled Ancient Cloak except that it was taller and he was wearing boots (A:200/D:1000).
"Uh oh!" gulped Sora as he begin to understand what Yuto was planning with his monsters.
"I overlay Level 3 Phantom Knights of Ancient Cloak and Level 3 Phantom Knights of Silent Boots" said Yuto as his two monsters joined together in order to form a XYZ summoning "Souls of warriors fallen on the battlefield! Revive now and become light to rend the darkness! XYZ summon! Rank 3! Phantom Knights of Break Sword!"
A headless monster covered in a flaming armor sitting into a mechanical horse appeared on the field (A:2000/D:1800/O:2) Sora reels back from his shock and a smirk appeared on his face, his blood was thrilling with excitement.
"That's not bad! Can't wait to destroy it!" said the young blue-haired boy.
"Unless if it destroys you first! Now go Phantom Knights of Break Sword, cut down Edge Imp Tomahawk!" ordered the XYZ duelist to which his monster goes towards Tomahawk and it delivers a powerful blow that cut Tomahawk in half to which it deals damage to Sora (Sora:3800) "and I end my turn by setting two cards facedown, you will be the one who will lose this duel, you will pay for my comrades that you've carded".
"I don't know where you've got your confidence from, XYZ scum, since you've decided to go all out, I shall do the same" replied Sora as he drew Designer Frightfur that he add into his hand, however, the young boy had another plan in mind "I activate Polymerization!"
Yuto prepared himself as he knows what a Fusion duelist could do with this card.
"I fuse my Fluffal Bear with my Edge Imp Sabres in order to fusion summon!"
A vortex appeared above Sora in the sky as his two monsters begins to fuse each other.
Gongenzaka dojo – Standard Dimension
Meanwhile, Yuya had just finished his training with Gong and they were ready to part ways as the young tomato-haired boy wanted to continue his training of excelling his Pendulum summoning.
But suddenly, the two noticed the vortex that appeared on the sky to which it wasn't far away from there, the two boys were looking at it in a surprised state as they weren't expecting that thing.
"What is that?" asked Gong to which Yuya begins to be worried, he remembered seeing that kind of vortex in one of his previous duels, it was a vortex that stipulated that a Fusion Summoning was occuring, if his hunch was correct...
"I don't like this" said Yuya as he grabbed his duel disk and he decided to contact Sora who was the only Fusion duelist that he remembered "Sora, can you hear me? Are you all right?"
Unfortenaly, the tomato-haired boy didn't receive any kind of reply from his friend to which it starts to make him worry about his safety, what if he was dueling the man that he saw at the LID Arena ?
"No good, he's not responding to my call" replied Yuya.
"Wait, are you thinking what Gong is thinking? Is that the same man..." begins to ask the large duelist to which Yuya decided to answer the question for him.
"Who attacked Sylvio, yes, it might be him, try to contact Zuzu Gong, I'll go to the spot where the duel is taking place, perhaps it will not be too late" said the young man.
"All right, Gong will do that, just be careful Yuya" asked Gong to which Yuya nods and he begins to leave towards the place where the vortex was standing.
Central Park – Standard Dimension
"Claws of the Demon! Fangs of the beast! Become one and reveal to us your new form! Come forth! Frightfur Bear!"
Sora has managed to Fusion summon his monster that ressembled a grotesque mishmashing of a bear and a demon with a pair of scissors that spawns from its belly as it let out a manical laugh (A:2200/D:1800).
"Time to pulverize you into oblivion buddy ! Frightfur Bear ! PUMMELING CLAW !" ordered the young boy as Frightfur Bear gives a powerful claw attack that pushed Break Sword, destroying it to which it caused Yuto's life points to diminish slightly (Yuto:3000).
"You may have destroyed Break Sword but I activate it's effect, when it is destroyed in battle, I can summon the monsters that were used as materials in the field but in return, they become Level 4 monsters" said Yuto as the two monsters that were used in the summoning of Break Sword: Phantom Knights of Ancient Cloak and Phantom Knights of Silent Boots appeared on the field but this time as Level 4 monsters.
"Yeah whatever, these monsters won't stand a chance against Frightfur Bear, you see, when Frightfur Bear destroys a monster, this monster become part of him as a equip card, meaning that its Attack points will increase by that monster" said Sora as Frightfur Bear repulls Break Sword from the Graveyard and eats it alive, after a few seconds of chewing, the monster let out a loud burp before its Attack Points increases from the Attack Points of Break Sword (A:2200-4200) "now, try to summon another XYZ monster, I dare you, he will finish as a nice little snack for my Frightfur Bear".
At the same time, Yuya finally arrived in Central Park and much to his shock, he saw Sora who was dueling someone.
"Sora!" whispered the tomato-haired boy before he turned his gaze at Sora's opponent and, much to his shock, he recognized him as the duelist who defeated Sylvio the previous day ago "it's him, it's really him".
"The Resistance never backs down from any Fusion punks such as yourself, just like my Phantom Knights, we don't fall!" said the dark duelist as he drew a card " I overlay Level 4 Phantom Knights of Ancient Cloak and Level 4 Phantom Knights of Silent Boots.
The two Phantom Knights joined together in order to summon another XYZ monster.
"Fangs formed from pitch-black darkness, to fight the foolish oppresion!" Yuto begins to chant to which Odd-eyes begins to glow inside of Yuya's deck, something that the young boy quickly understood it.
"His strongest monster, he's coming !"
"Descend now! XYZ summon! Rank 4! Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon!" Yuto finished his summoning to which his legendary dragon finally appeared on the field (A:2500) it's appearance caused the young blue-haired boy to laugh.
"Hah, is that it? That monster is way too weak to fight my Frightfur Bear head on!" mocked Sora.
"I can even the balance, I use 1 Overlay Unit to activate Dark Rebellion effect, when it is done, Dark Rebellion can halve a Level 5 or higher monster Attack points and it will obtain that Attack power for itself !" explained Yuto as his sentence caused the young boy to panic, he never expected that this monster could possess that kind of effect.
"Wait, WHAT ?" yelled Sora as Dark Rebellion absorded his Overlay Unit and launched out a severe electrical blast that reduces Frightfur Bear attack (A:4200-2100) and it goes to Dark Rebellion (A:2500-4600).
"Oh no! He did the same trick against Sylvio, if that monster attacks, he will injure Sora!" said a shocked Yuya as he was worried about Sora.
"Prepare yourself! This is for my comrades and Lulu!" roared Yuto as his monster begins to charge up his attack, however, a name caused the tomato-haired boy to whisper that name.
"Lulu?"
"DARK REBELLION! MAULING MAUDIBULE DISCHARGE!" ordered the dark duelist as Dark Rebellion's jaw glowed a dark purple, pulsing with dark energy as it launched a powerful electrical attack that destroyed Frightfur Bear and caused a huge explosion that throws Sora across the park, letting out a severe amount of flames on its wake (Sora:1300) "with this, I end my turn and Dark Rebellion Attack Points will return to normal".
Dark Rebellion regained its original Attack points (A:4600-2500).
Meanwhile, Yuya looked at the scene with terrified wide open eyes, this wasn't a duel, the attack was way too real to be considered as a entertainement but worse of all, he feared for Sora's safety, he looked all over the place and then he discovered the young blue-haired boy on the ground, severely beaten.
"SORA!" yelled Yuya as he rushed to Sora's side in order to help him out, Yuto looked over the scene with a glare as he wondered who was the boy who was trying to help out his enemy, Yuya took the blue-haired boy into his arms as he begins to weakily awaken from the blast "are you all right?"
"He's pulling his punches!" weakily said Sora.
"What?" asked the tomato-haired boy.
"That bastard is pulling out his punches, he could have finished me off with his monster but he prefered to pull his punches" angrily said Sora as he tried to get up but he almost collasped to the floor to which Yuya manage to grab him.
"True, I have indeed pull my punches because you're nothing more than a kid, I want to duel the one who is pulling the strings of this, surrender now and no more harm will come to you" ordered Yuto.
"Never!" barked the blue-haired boy to which his sentence caused Yuya to be shocked, Sora still wants to duel, even with his worsening condition?
"Sora, stop! You're in no condition to duel!" pleaded the tomato-haired boy.
"Shut up! It's my duel! Don't you interfere in it!" ordered Sora.
"I can't! That man is dangerous, if he launched another attack with that monster, he can cripple you or worse, he almost killed Sylvio Sawatari in his previous duel, I don't want you to be hurt !" pleaded Yuya as he turned towards Yuto to confront him "and you, what are you doing this? It is a duel, not a execution, you can't use Duel Monsters to attack people !"
"You're saying this to me? Ask for that little runt for what he thinks about it! He and his lapdogs use Duel Monsters for war, I've never asked for any of this but that scum is gonna pay for what his people has done to my own" said Yuto.
"What? What did he do to you?" asked Yuya to which the dark duelist prefers to keep his mouth shut about it, he doesn't want to spell out details to his enemy "well, tell me about it!"
"It doesn't concern you, now leave, I don't need to add colleteral damage into this duel" said the dark duelist however, his sentence caused Yuya to look at the man with angry eyes, why did he even attacked Sora at the first place? And what is he talking about 'colleteral damage'? He wants to be sure of it, he grabbed his duel disk and strapped it on his arm as he planned to defend his friend from Yuto.
"I won't! If you want Sora, you will have to go through me!" said Yuya as his reaction caused Sora to look at him with a confused look, he didn't expect the tomato-haired boy to take his defense against the XYZ duelist, especially after he said that he didn't want him to interfere, his answer caused Yuto to let out a sigh as he now knows what he has to do.
"So be it! I warned you to stay out of it but if you insist about defending that boy, then you two will share the same fate!" theartned the XYZ duelist as the three duelists looked on their eyes as they were to ready to settle the score and to finish the duel in their favor.
And there it is ! I'm sorry if you think that this chapter was short but just like I said, I planned to do the duel as the same way that the anime did, in three parts.
In the next chapter, Yuya has joined the fray and challenged Yuto while he is helping Sora, he will learn many things about Yuto, Sora's true allegiances and the plot that is set in motion in the dimensions.
