Chapter 15 - Retaliation & Requests

I caught up with my uncles, Kimi and Nightwolf after Cassie kissed me.

"Guys, what's the plan," I asked as we ran down the mountain path. "Divide and conquer?"

"I agree," Uncle Raiden said.

"As do I," Uncle Fujin added. "Kimi, are you ok?" Oooh, bad move there Uncle Fujin.

"NO UNCLE I AM NOT OK!" she yelled. "HE'S DYING!" I took it upon myself to stop her from doing something stupid. I used the winds to bring her to a halt. Nightwolf and my uncles stopped too. Kimi struggled for a second before she realized who stopped her.

"VICTOR, I SWEAR TO GOD!" she yelled at me. Man, I haven't seen her this mad since I snitched on her about her sneaking out of the house when I was like 8. Granted…she didn't count on the fact that my dad had written down the odometer reading so he knew immediately that Kimi had taken the car. Fun story. Remind me to recount it for you at a later time when we aren't in a crisis at the moment. Kimi for real believed my dad was asleep on the couch that night.

"Sis, we need a plan," I said calmly. "Take it from someone who has gone in guns blazing and gotten his shit rocked." I saw Uncle Raiden shoot me a smile. Kimi continued to struggle against my hold.

"Kimi," I said calmly. "I want to save him as much as you do." Kimi relented upon seeing my face. I let her go and she walked over to join us instead.

"So Vic," Uncle Raiden said. "Divide and conquer you say?"

"We'll cover more ground that way," I said. "Did you guys hear what I heard on that call?"

"Other than this Jarek character taking my mother hostage?" Nightwolf growled. I even thought I saw her eyes glow with green fire.

"I heard waves," I said. "Very faintly but they were there. My guess is that they're all being held near the docks. Dunno which ones though." Uncle Fujin looked incredibly impressed. I'll admit…that made me feel good. Between him and Uncle Raiden, he was the one that reminded me the most of my mom.

"There are two sides, the east and west," Uncle Raiden said and drew a quick diagram in the dirt. "Don't they have multiple warehouses and storage areas?"

"Yes," Kimi added and pointed to the east side. "The east side has fewer buildings but they are bigger if I recall."

"Fujin is the fastest of us, is he not?" Nightwolf stated. "Would it make sense for him to team up with his brother who can teleport?" You know what…yes. Yes it did. Both my uncles nodded in agreement as well.

"So that leaves Nightwolf, Kimi and myself to search the west side?" I asked. Kimi and Nightwolf nodded. Nightwolf even summoned Kiba to her side.

"Fujin, do you have something of Suchin's?" Uncle Raiden asked upon seeing the wolf.

"Yes. Her heart." Uncle Fujin responded. Bro. Really?

"I do not believe that's what he meant Fujin," Nightwolf responded. "Like an item or something. So Kiba can assist me in finding her." Uncle Fujin hesitated…before he pulled out a red scarf from his inside pocket and held it out to Kiba.

"You…you just have that on you?" I asked as I watched Kiba sniff it. "Like at all times?"

"Yes," Uncle Fujin said. "Is that a problem? Hmm? Big Guy? Yes, I know what Cassie calls you." Kimi looked away at this moment.

"Uh huh. Say Vic, when Fujin was little, your mother called him Foo," Uncle Raiden said.

"Would that make him a Foo Fighter?" I asked. Uncle Raiden and Nightwolf chuckled. Uncle Fujin cleared his throat and put the scarf back in his pocket. Kiba disappeared into a blue mist and Nightwolf's eyes glowed blue for a moment.

"He's got the scent. Kimi, Vic come with me. We will locate Suchin," Nightwolf stated firmly.

The Docks. West Side.

Kimi and I followed Nightwolf as if she was our tour guide of the area. She was so in tune with her powers it was almost scary. As we came upon the row of buildings, she stopped and turned to me.

"I believe Suchin and…maybe another is in this area," she said. "I'm also…sensing something that's…not human. The spirits tell me they are living stones."

"Living stones?" I inquired. "Like rock golems or something?" Nightwolf kind of nodded.

"It is odd. I can also hear a faint voice, can't you?" she said. I strained my ears over the sounds of the water nearby and yes, I could hear a deep voice booming from a few buildings down. I wonder if…hmm, I'm gonna try something. I raised my hands and silently told the winds to carry the sound of that guy's voice to us. Within seconds, the wind obeyed. Kimi and Nightwolf jumped in surprise as the voice became clearer.

"Find her! You useless creations of mine! You there, boy and woman! Tell me where she got to!" the deep voice said. If you ask me, it sounded like someone was speaking with a mouthful of gravel. Then I heard Takeda's voice.

"Beats me Rocky Horror. We were knocked out when you split us up, remember?"

"Talk back to me again boy! I dare you!" deep voice answered. "Kira will be hearing about this! In fact, she tells me she is on her way back now! Apparently, your mommy is very close with someone she despises. She wants to see him suffer!" Then I heard what I assumed was Suchin's answer of "I'd like to see her try and hurt my Fujin!" I cut the connection because what followed was deep voice man just issuing orders to silent minions.

"Wonder who the other captive was," I muttered…right before I got something shoved right under my neck. It sprung open in a flash and I was suddenly standing there with a bladed fan thing near my exposed neck. Oh fuck…

I then felt someone wrap their arm around my neck and hold me still. It was a slender arm ending in a dark blue fingerless glove with some steel plating over it. This person's nails were even blue. I looked down to see a pair of legs also in blue garments, this time some like tights or something and some open toed sandals. Bold choice as I assume I'm about to have quite the fight with her. I am going to guess that this person was female judging by the pitch of the breathing in my ear…that and the fact that Kimi just shouted "Hey! Let him go girlfriend!" The woman holding me let her grip slip and that's when I acted. I delivered an elbow to her…surprisingly hard stomach….and used the wind to push the bladed fan away from my neck. I released myself from her grip, joined my sister and Nightwolf and formed a blue air dagger in my right hand.

"Wait! Wait!" the woman said and held up her unarmed hand. Kimi wasn't buying it.

"You come out of the shadows and attempt to kill my baby brother?!" she snarled and pulled out her sidearm. Hmm, the DEA must have upgraded or something cause that looked different than from what I normally saw her armed with. Also fucking COME ON with the "baby brother" shit! Meanwhile, the woman fully emerged from the shadows. Other than the things I already saw, she was wearing a steel belt and a blue crop top. There was also a blue mask covering the bottom half of her face. She pointed at me or rather, the blue knife in my hand.

"He can control lightning!" the woman said. "I know another from your realm that can do that! You kind of resemble him! At least your eyes do! You actually remind me of one of those people who perform in films!" Now that she was talking, I recognized her as the unknown voice on the phone call from earlier. I instructed Kimi to lower her gun and for Nightwolf to put away her tomahawk.

"If I tell you who I am, will you tell me who you are?" I asked. The woman nodded.

"I'm Vic," I said. "Raiden is who I believe you're thinking of. He's our uncle." I motioned to Kimi. "This is Kimi. She's my sister." The woman looked from Kimi to me a few times and then to Nightwolf. Nightwolf crossed an arm over her chest and said "I am Nightwolf of the Matoka." The woman put away her fans and lowered her mask. Now I want you to remember that I am very very much in love with Cassie Cage alright? Ok? Good because this woman was gorgeous! She resembled a young Asian woman with light brown eyes.

"The guy you might be thinking of is Dante Harris," I said. Kimi inhaled sharply upon hearing our dad's name. The woman nodded.

"He was the police officer hero in that one Earthrealm horror movie series! About the killer cereal!" the woman said excitedly. Both Kimi and I exchanged smiles. Yes, I remember those movies. It was what my dad was known for mostly. That and being a big supporter of local metal bands. He played Officer Lawrence "Lucky" O'Reily in the "Cereal Killer" slasher franchise. Ever seen those? There's like four. Tons of merchandise. I remember when my dad landed the role when I was around twelve years old…my mom was so happy for him. He got a lot of royalty checks too and did horror cons all the time. You know, I just remembered…Cassie and I cameoed as kids he saved from the villain in the third one! The Toasted Oat Killer. Yeah yeah! Johnny played his co-worker in that one too! Oh AND Kimi was O'Reily's daughter who he saved at the end alongside me and Cassie because her character was our babysitter! Wow, talk about a memory.

"Yeah, that's him," Kimi said. "Who are you though?"

"I am Princess Kitana of Outworld," she said and gave a small bow. "I am sorry I attacked you. I believed you were in league with my captors." Kimi was the one between the three of us that looked the most confused. With a look I told her I would explain later. Plus that name of Kitana was familiar but I can't place it and it's KILLING me.

"Forgive me princess," I said, a little confused. "But…why are you in Earthrealm?" Kitana walked over to join us.

"A wanted sorcerer revived an Earthrealm cult and I wanted to investigate their actions in Earthrealm at the request of Empress Mileena," Kitana explained. "They are looking for Onaga, who is a figure of legend in Outworld."

"A little late on that one," Kimi said. "They've been causing trouble for quite some time."

"I apologize," Kitana said. "I was able to travel here only recently. Liu Kang sent me to this city to get in contact with Raiden. I was immediately attacked and captured alongside a man and what I assume to be his mother. They are still being held captive down there. Have you come to rescue them with Raiden?" Kitana seemed more than excited to meet Uncle Rai- HOLD THE FUCKING PHONE! Now I remember! This is the woman Uncle Fujin told me about! Oh goodie! Kimi noticed as did Nightwolf.

"You seem the most interested in our friend Raiden princess," Nightwolf said, barely hiding a smirk. "Why is that?"

"He…he said he would visit me from time to time…but I haven't seen him in a while." Kitana admitted. "I hope he's ok…" I gave Kitana a smile.

"He is," I said. "He's currently busy being a hero elsewhere. C'mon, let's go save the others."

Inside Warehouse #06292K

The four of us were perched on the roof of the warehouse where Takeda and Suchin were being held. I peered down through the skylight and spotted the hostages tied up in one corner…while big piles of rocks seemed to be moving on their own.

"How did you escape," Kimi asked Kitana.

"The man controlling the rocks is not the brightest," Kitana answered. "I was able to easily free myself and escape while he left the room. I promised the young man and his mother I would seek aid. I have." Kitana smiled at the three of us and then narrowed her eyes at someone. I followed her gaze and saw a towering human figure dressed in brown colored ninja attire. Complete with hood and metallic facemask. The thing that was unsettling to me was the rock formation marked throughout the majority of his body. It went across his chest, forearms and hands. Then the fucker looked up. Home boy had glowing orange eyes which he narrowed. I cursed under my breath alongside Kimi and Nightwolf. Kitana pulled out her bladed fans and looked towards us for instructions. I shot a glance at Rocky Balboa once more and saw he was raising his hand to point at us.

"I'll get you down safely Kimi," I said. "You get to Suchin and Takeda. We'll handle the rock things. I don't think a nine mill is gonna do anything to them. They should be focused on us." Kimi nodded while I saw Nightwolf summon a giant bird. I quickly used an air jet to cut the window open and kick it inward.

Rocky and his golems were showered with broken glass as Nightwolf and Kitana jumped down. I summoned the winds and picked up my sister. We glided down to the ground right as Rocky recovered. Kimi jumped down from my arms and ran over to rescue Suchin and Takeda. Nightwolf and Kitana were busy cutting down rock golem after rock golem. Rocky flipped over the railing and started stomping his way towards me.

"I must break you," I said in a Russian accent and raised my hands in a boxing stance.

"Very funny kid," Rocky said. "Never heard that one before. I am Tremor!" I looked around the room for a few seconds and even lifted my shoe from the ground.

"Wow, can't find who asked- OOF!" I said and caught quite the strong thrown rock to my chest. I had the foresight to conjure an air shield over my body like usual, but that still fuckin hurt! Also who throws rocks in a fight?! Honestly! As I recovered, I saw him step on the ground and then position his hands over where his foot landed. He apparently sent a shockwave right towards me. I still wasn't fully recovered from the rock so I knew this was going to CLANG! The shockwave reverberated off a thrown tomahawk that had lodged itself in the ground right in front of its path. I looked over to see Nightwolf slowly making her way towards Tremor. Tremor looked terrified now.

"NO! NO NO! We killed you!" he was shouting while throwing rock after rock at Nightwolf. Nightwolf summoned her tomahawk to her and deflected all of them. Nightwolf turned her head towards me and gave me a look that meant "He is mine." Yep. You got it. I'll go help Kitana. Or…nevermind. She was fighting with such speed, grace and agility I felt that I would just get in her way. I got to my feet right as Nightwolf shouted "YOU HELPED KILL MY FATHER! He might be gone, but Nightwolf lives on! Through me!"

"Whatever kid!" Tremor's terrified voice shouted over Kitana's slices. "I'll kill you too! You can join daddy in HELL!" What Tremor didn't know was that Xota was positioned behind him and ready to pounce. Tremor backed up right into the panther who took a large swipe at him with her claw. Tremor screamed in pain as Xota's claw ripped into his flesh. The force was so great, that it caused him to turn around…to face Kimi who had just finished untying Takeda. Nightwolf noticed and aimed her tomahawk…but Tremor was too fast for her this time. He raised his hand and formed a large spiked rock and hurled it right at Kimi's chest area.

"NO!" I shouted and tried in vain to use the wind to alter the spike's course…but…but…Kimi turned around just in time for the spike to go right through her chest and pin her to the wall.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH!" I shouted at Tremor…but Nightwolf had stolen my kill from me already. She was pulling her tomahawk from the split and bleeding skull of the now dead Tremor with a satisfying squelching and crunching noise.

Instead I rushed over to Kimi who was bleeding extremely badly. No…no…not like this. Not when I knew Kurtis was going to ask her to marry him. Kimi looked up at me. Blood was trailing out of her mouth…no…please. Not my big sister too. Kimi raised her hand to touch my face and that's when I made my choice. I had done this before with Jacqui and it's going to fucking work again! It better. Ignoring Takeda and Nightwolf's pleas for me to not, I pulled the spike out of Kimi's chest.

"Honey, don't," Suchin said. I shot her a look of venom and she stopped talking. Kimi gasped and gurgled. I used the wind to ease her to the ground and instructed it to heal her by any means necessary.

To my surprise the wind obeyed me. I watched (and felt) as the air molecules extracted the harmful rock particles from Kimi's blood stream even down to a molecular level. The air molecules even repaired her internal organs and damaged tissue cells. I watched in disbelief as the open wound, now free of anything harmful, sealed itself and the skin cells reformed. Her shirt however remained torn and I quickly zipped up her jacket lest I see something I did not want to see. It was as if she wasn't even injured. Kimi's eyes snapped open and she gasped for air for a few seconds while flailing her arms. Eventually her breathing eased and she focused on me.

"Buddy?" she croaked. I smiled and hugged her as tears ran down my cheeks.

"How fuckin sentimental," a voice I recognized snarled. I turned my head to see Jarek standing there with Kira. Both of them looked livid. Oh fuck. Kira even shoved Nightwolf forward. Kitana had disappeared but the winds were telling me she was nearby, just hiding in the shadows.

"So much for having until morning," I said. Jarek rolled his eyes, pinched the bridge of his nose and said "Yeah, then I found out from Tremor that one of the prisoners escaped. Where is she?!"

"Beats me," I responded.

"That's the idea Harris," Kira cackled.

"Why must you make me do this," Jarek said and pulled out a one handed ax. "Which one dies?" Then he pointed it at Nightwolf, then to Takeda and then to the now freed Suchin. Suchin was struggling against her son's grip and swearing up a storm in what I assumed was Thai.

"WHICH ONE. DIES!" Jarek snarled in my face. Dude needed a breath mint…and a shower? Honestly. Do douchebag cult leaders forget how to play with water? I didn't answer. Why? Because the winds were telling me that some other allies were here. And one of them was not happy. At all.

"FINE! ALL OF THEM IT IS THEN!" Jarek shouted. "KIRA, KILL HIS SISTER IN FRONT OF HIM!" Then a whizzing sound filled the air followed by Kira gasping and gurgling. I looked around Jarek's frame to see an all too familiar sword going through her chest. Except this time it was on fire. Then something happened that surprised the hell out of me. Jarek panicked. Like a full on wimp. He stowed his ax and looked around the area in fear. Then I saw his eyes rest on something. I saw it too. A tall figure with long flowing hair gleaming as if it was in bright sunlight.

"NO! NO NONONONO!" Jarek shrieked and bolted for the door. I stared at the spot he had vacated in disbelief as Uncle Fujin appeared behind Kira who was reaching her hand out toward her master who had just abandoned her.

"I thought I told you to stay away from my nephew," Uncle Fujin growled.

"It matters not," Kira croaked. "I will be revived again!"

"Hey bozo," I said and pulled out my phone. "Forget about something?" I showed her a picture of the items Cassie, Ashrah, Sareena and I had looted from the cult's stronghold. Kira's eyes grew wide. She knew this was the end this time. Uncle Fujin quickly moved the blade from side to side cutting Kira in half. Blood, guts and gore sprayed everywhere. Honestly, I averted my eyes this time. Then I saw that Uncle Raiden appeared. He had his hat off and his hair down but still wearing quite the angry expression.

"I heard about what you did to our niece. Not nice," he snarled and used lightning to cause Kira's head to explode. "It is a shame it had to come to this."

It took everyone a few seconds to realize we were in the clear. Kimi was the first to act. She hugged me with all her might while saying "You saved me!" over and over. I looked over at our uncles who were in the middle of cleaning up the mess. Uncle Raiden straightened up after a few seconds before shaking his head and going back to his task. That's when I also noticed Kurtis and Nightwolf's mom standing there. Kurtis looked banged up but relatively fine. He was smirking over at us while Nightwolf and her mom embraced. I'd be lying if I said that didn't make me jealous…but you know, I had Kimi. She loved me as much as my mom did…Cassie will argue she loves me more than Kimi though. That much I know for a fact. Kurtis limped over to me and Kimi and relieved me of my hugging duties.

"Apple!" Suchin's voice said from behind me and then she ran at Uncle Fujin who only just managed to catch her before she bowled him over.

"Apple?" Takeda, Uncle Raiden and I asked. Then it hit me.

"Oh! I get it! Like a Fuji apple!" I said. "That's funny!" Uncle Raiden thought so too. I don't think I've ever seen him this happy. Uncle Fujin managed to get Suchin to stop kissing his face in order to speak. He motioned to me.

"You know Vic, my nephew," he said.

"I've heard a lot about you Vic," Suchin said and smiled at me. "I've also heard you singing sometimes." Gee thanks. I really needed to know that. Uncle Raiden was still giving his brother a look of glee…but Uncle Fujin was ready.

"This is my older brother, Way-den," he said and folded his arms defiantly.

"Way-den?" Kitana's voice answered from off to my left. Uncle Raiden jumped in surprise. Then I watched him get incredibly flustered in Kitana's presence. Kitana's mask was down and she was smiling at him.

"Uh…h-hi Princess," he said more to the ground than to Kitana. "That's…that's what Vic called me…when he was a baby…Fujin uses it sometimes to poke fun at me. Forgive me for not visiting you as often as I should."

"The beard is new," she said and ran her hand along his face. "I do like it." Uncle Raiden cleared his throat and…my man looked at me for tips. Bruh, what?! Kitana acted though. She kissed his cheek once.

"Thank you for saving us," she said. "You too…uh…Fuji?" Uncle Fujin stopped his silent "try not to laugh challenge" and cleared his throat.

"Fujin," he said and bowed to Kitana.

"The young man's teacher correct?" Kitana asked. "And the other young man is Kenshi Takahashi's child? He looks like him quite a bit." Uncle Fujin, Suchin and Takeda nodded.

"Are…are you and Kenshi not together?" Kitana asked Suchin. Suchin shook her head.

"I don't hate him though. It just wasn't meant to be," she explained. Kitana still looked a little confused. Uncle Raiden, gaining some confidence, started talking to her about their unique situation.

"Raiden has been training him too recently," Uncle Fujin said.

"Which of you taught him how to heal mortal wounds?" she asked. Both my uncles looked over to me in surprise. Kurtis did too. Kitana quickly explained how Tremor had mortally wounded Kimi and how I had essentially ripped her away from the Grim Reaper's clutches.

"Amazing. Just like…just like Hikari," Uncle Raiden muttered while Uncle Fujin looked over at me with such pride in his face. As was Kimi…who I saw now had an engagement ring on her finger and tears of happiness in her face as she hugged her new fiancee. Then…then I felt her presence. My mom. She was "standing" right next to me with her radiant smile on her face. She crossed her hand over her heart again before kissing her hand and "touched" my face with it. I know that everyone present saw that. But I couldn't help but think…Jarek was terrified of something…or was it someone.

Back at Uncle Fujin's

Sonya was asleep in a chair on the front porch as our posse arrived. We spent the rest of the night at Kurtis' police station just to be safe. He's the captain over there so I assume that was ok to do. Plus everyone else had found out about Kimi's engagement too. Also yes, I kept Cassie and the others at the house in the loop. She was a little bummed that she had to sleep alone though.

"They need not have bothered guarding the house," Uncle Fujin said. "My home only reveals itself when I or Vic tell another of its location." I looked over at him in surprise. He nodded.

"It used to just be me, but I had a feeling you and Cassie would eventually reunite," he explained. "Plus, I knew you would eventually gather a group of allies. Now, we should wake Miss Blade." Didn't need to. Why? Cassie obviously. I saw her in the den turn her head to look out the window and saw us standing there. She let out a shout and the door swung open. She was still in her pajamas, barefoot and with bags under her eyes. Sonya woke up immediately and charged up her pink energy ring launcher things. Then she realized it was us.

"Holy crap Kim," Sonya said as Cassie threw herself at me and bombarded my face with her lips. "You alright?" Kitana again explained how I had saved Kimi from certain death. Cassie smiled at me, hugged me again and whispered "My Superman" into my ear. Sonya also flashed me a grin before turning back to Kitana.

"Wait a sec, hold on," Sonya said and made a time-out gesture. "Who are you?"

"Princess Kitana of Outworld," Kitana said and looked into the interior of Uncle Fujin's house. "This magic still fascinates me. How you Earthrealmers manage to harness light into glass containers and can switch it on and off at will."

"Kitana? Is that you?" Johnny's tired voice said from deep in the house. Kitana seemed to put two and two together as she looked from Cassie to Sonya to Johnny's voice.

"Are…are you Johnny Cage's daughter?" Kitana asked Cassie. "And Vic's girlfriend?" Cassie nodded and then shot me a look. I shot back another that said "Pretty, but not as pretty as you." Cassie pecked my cheek. Sonya held out her hand for Kitana to shake, which she did. Albeit awkwardly.

"Sonya Blade. Johnny's my brother," Sonya said. Kitana looked utterly shocked.

"You have a daughter and a sister?" she said to Johnny who was standing there in his undershirt and pants.

"Why is everyone surprised at this?" Johnny said annoyed. "Apparently, I'm not allowed to have a family."

"Princess Kitana is simply intrigued by the fact that you managed to grow up a little since our adventure with Shang Tsung," a new voice said from behind us. Everyone turned to see that a new person had arrived. He had a kind smile and radiated such a calming presence which told me that he wasn't there to harm us. He looked like he was of Asian descent with glowing white eyes, long brown hair and a blue headband. He had two full white tattoo sleeves depicting various dragons and his forearms and hands were wrapped in white tape. He wore an open beige shirt, blue and red pants and black shoes. The man stood there with his kind smile and his hands clasped in front of him. Uncle Fujin, Raiden, Johnny, Kitana and Nightwolf all bowed to the man. The rest of us didn't as we were confused. The man held up a hand.

"Where are my manners," the man said, still smiling. "I am Liu Kang. Protector of Earthrealm." Then he bowed to us. So…so this guy was Liu Kang? Then Sareena and Ashrah appeared behind him and they too bowed.

"Are the realms in danger once again Liu Kang," Ashrah asked. Liu Kang shook his head.

"At the moment, they are not," he said calmly. Liu Kang kept his eyes on Uncle Raiden for a few moments.

"It seems that the Princess of Outworld and Earthrealm's Champion always seem to find their way into each other's heart," Liu Kang said. Uncle Raiden cleared his throat while Kitana smiled at him and took his hand. He looked down in surprise.

"Raiden with Kitana?" Cassie whispered. "I can see it. Even though I just met her. They both have an affinity for blue. Plus I can hear him talking about her a lot." Kitana heard this and again smiled at Uncle Raiden who looked away again. I could see he was a little red in the face too.

"What brings you here Lord Liu Kang," Uncle Fujin asked. Liu Kang motioned to both Cassie and I.

"Li Mei requested assistance from Earthrealm's finest warriors," he said. "I may have mentioned that Raiden has a nephew she might know." Ok…this was news to me. I don't know anyone named Li Mei.

"What happened to us?!" Johnny protested. "Aren't we good enough!"

"You are," Liu Kang stated. "That is why I request that you stay here and keep tabs on the cult with Fujin. Now that Jarek has lost pretty much all his lieutenants, he will be more unstable. Kitana, will you be joining us?" Kitana nodded and then looked at Raiden. Liu Kang smiled.

"You may come too Raiden," Liu Kang instructed. "We leave whenever you deem yourselves to be ready."

"Where uh, where are we going?" Cassie asked.

Liu Kang smiled once again and said "To Outworld."
