Bell stared at the Hunter with indifference. He really wasn't in the mood right now for someone to try and kill him. Much less some washed-out hunter.

"I'll give you one chance to leave. I'm not in the mood for this," Bell coldly stated.

"Heh heh, and miss out on taking down a baby spider. I don't think so."

The hunter threw another knife, which Bell dodged before catching The Hunter's fist and throwing him into an AC unit.

The Hunter's body dented the unit as Bell calmly stood there. He pushed himself to his feet and ran at Bell, throwing a right hook.

Bell moved his arm to block it, but The Hunter went low and uppercutted Bell. Bell stumbled back, and The Hunter punched him square in the gut.

Bell wheezed and jumped back, throwing a web bomb at The Hunter to buy some time. The Hunter kicked it off the roof before it exploded, but Bell only needed a second.

He shot webs and pulled himself forward, elbowing The Hunter in the nose. He front-flipped behind him and kicked him in the back of the head before landing behind him.

The Hunter threw his elbow back, but Bell blocked it before kicking the back of his knee out. Bell got closer as The Hunter was on one knee but was elbowed in the gut.

He hunched over, and The Hunters head hit him in the nose, causing Bell to stumble back.

"Damn, You're actually good. I'm starting to get excited." The Hunter laughed as he stood up.

Bell felt blood running down his nose but couldn't wipe it away. Less he reveals his identity.

"Well, that's not a good thing for you."

Bell charged him, but The Hunter dodged to the side and kicked Bell off the edge. Bell fell and quickly shot a web to stop himself from falling to his death. The Hunter swung using his grappling hook and slammed into Bell.

The two crashed through a window and landed on the ground. They got up and looked around. They had crashed through a window of a bar and were currently on the ground floor.

The bargoers all stopped what they were doing and looked at the two. Bell was the first to react. He kicked The Hunter in the chest, making him stumble back before punching him in the gut.

He kneed the hunter in the chin, making him stagger before he threw an uppercut into his face. The Hunter's head snapped back, and Bell wrapped his arms around his waist, lifting him up and slamming him on the ground.

He grabbed his shoulders and began repeatedly slamming his head into the ground. Before the last one, Bell felt himself get punched in the throat before The Hunter threw Bell off him. He slammed into the bar, and The Hunter grabbed a beer bottle and smashed it against Bell's head.

Bell grunted in pain as The Hunter walked over to

the pool table and grabbed a pool cue. He swung down, but Bell quickly moved his hand out, catching it. He twisted it, and the Hunter let go before swinging with a left hook.

Bell caught it and kneed him in the gut before kicking him back. The Hunter staggered back, and Bell spun the pool cue before swinging and hitting him across the face with it.

The Hunter's body hit the wall, and Bell swung the cue again, shattering it on his head. He stumbled forward, and Bell jumped up, delivering a kick to the side of his face. The Hunter was pushed against the wall as Bell landed. He walked over and punched him in the gut.

He threw an elbow to his head, but The Hunter ducked before headbutting him and pushing him back. The Hunter threw his own punch and hit Bell in the gut before throwing his elbow down into his back.

Bell stumbled, and The Hunter kicked his knee out, making him fall to the other. He quickly ran over and, grabbed his head and started repeatedly punching him in the face.

"Hey! No fighting in my bar!" The bartender yelled as he grabbed The Hunter's arm.

The Hunter swung around and elbowed him in the face before kicking him in the chest. The man stumbled back and hit the wall behind him before

The Hunter picked up a chair and smashed it against the bartender's head. The man slumped to the ground as The Hunter dropped the remains of the chair.

"You'll regret that."

Bell's voice made The Hunter turn. But not in time to react as Bell threw him through a window and out into the street. He groaned as he laid in the street before feeling himself being grabbed by the hair and pulled up.

Bell kneed him in the gut, dropping him, before picking him up and throwing him into a parked car.

The car alarm went off as the alarms of nearby cars started going off as well.

The Hunter was lifted again before he felt himself being punched in the face. He was thrown to the ground, and a foot planted itself on his chest.

The Hunter looked up and saw Bell staring down at him.

"You're good kid, I'll give you that. But you got cocky and let your guard down. That's why you'll never be a real Spider."

"What are you talking about?"

"You may be good, but you're still just a kid playing dress-up."

Bell's eyes narrowed before he yelled out in pain as a knife was driven into his calf.

"You see, I know a thing about nanotechnology. Especially how to break through it."

Bell stumbled back before falling to a knee. The Hunter got to his feet and pulled a long karambit out. He swiped, and Bell was quick to duck under the blade before shooting a web. He pulled, and The Hunter stumbled towards him.

Bell jumped up and kneed him in the chin. He then proceeded to knee him in the gut three more times before jumping back.

He tried to take a step but fell down.

"You won't be able to fight much longer."

"You're not gonna kill me."

"We'll see about that"

The Hunter lunged and slashed the blade across Bell's chest.

Bell cried out and stumbled back. The Hunter took this opportunity and jumped forward, slicing Bell's arm. Bell stumbled back, and The Hunter sliced his other arm. Bell's eyes widened as he saw the blade glow orange.

The Hunter was getting faster.

He lunged and sliced across Bell's leg, and Bell cried out again. He swung the blade again, but Bell caught it. He ripped it out of his hand and stabbed the blade into his shoulder.

The Hunter cried out in pain, and Bell pulled the blade out. He threw it aside and punched The Hunter in the gut before slamming his elbow down on his neck.

He grabbed the hunter's collar and kneed him in the stomach twice. He threw him into the side of a car and watched him fall. He webbed up The Hunter to the car before calling Alise.

"5th and Main. Got one for ya."

"On the way. Are you alright?"

"Peachy, only a few cuts. Get a couple more units down here. This one's pretty dangerous."

"On it. Oh, and be safe for me. Please"

"I'll try my best."

Bell then hung up and limped his way over to the karambit The Hunter used. He picked it up and examined it before pocketing it.

He'd take a look at it later.

Ottar sat in his lavish office decorated with oak wood and velvet red carpet. He sat at his desk on a business call, ironing out the final details of a deal.

"Mr. Ottar, we can't possibly push out that much product. We don't have the resources."

"Tom, I have an entire district in the palm of my hand. Use the resources I offer to achieve your goals. All I'm asking is for a 30 percent cut in profits."

"Mr. Ottar, that's outlandish! Our last partner only got 15."

"Look, Tom, I understand your trepidation about a cut that big. But I own the entire eastern district. Everywhere you try to sell here, my guys will be on the corner. Besides, with the resources I'm offering, you should be thankful I'm not asking for more. Now, do we have a deal?"

Tom sighed. "We have a deal, Mr Ottar. You can expect your cut by the end of the month."

"Pleasure doing business with you, Tom."

Ottar then hung up and crossed Tom's name off his list. He had a few more people to call before he could stop for the day. But before he could call anyone else, the elevator dinged, and Alfia walked out looking angry.

"Ah, Prowler, to what do I owe the surprise?"

"We had a deal! You said my family would be protected if I worked for you. Now my brother-in-law is in a coma, and you beat the shit out of my Nephew?!!"

Ottar raised his hand to calm the woman. "Alfia, we both know I had no idea your nephew would be behind that mask. Hell, I was just as surprised when he took it off. But at that point, I had to put on a show. He'd get pretty suspicious if I just walked away or knew who he was."

"What did you do to him? Why was he so beat up when he arrived at the docks?" Alfia growled.

"Well, I dropped a building on him."

Alfia reached for her staff.

"Wait, let me explain why."

Alfia kept her hand on her staff but signaled him to talk.

"I have a reputation to keep as a crime boss. I can't go letting the kid off easy, else my reputation would drop, and I'd lose control of the district. But I kept to my side of the bargain as best I could with the circumstances. I knew the boy would survive cause he's tough. I could tell when he kept getting back up."

"You dropped a building on him. What if he died?" Alfia growled.

"If he did, I'd order my men to still protect your family and let you kill me. An eye for an eye."

Alfia coldly stared at Ottar for a minute before taking her hand off her staff.

"And what are you doing for my brother-in-law? I heard a Black Dragon is the one that shot him."

"The Black Dragon that did has been taken care of. I have my men watching over him 24/7, and his hospital bills are already paid for. Once he wakes up, I'll have my best doctors run him through physical therapy, and he'll be back in shape in no time."

"I still want to hurt you. But you've kept to our deal as best as you could given the circumstances. But why did you drop a building on him?"

"Well, you want him out of this game, don't you? That's why you went and visited your sister and revealed his identity to her. I thought giving the kid a scare like that would make him quit. Seems he's as stubborn as you."

Alfia clicked her tongue. "I hope he does quit because I don't have it in me to hurt him like I did. Thank you for going after the Eastern district instead of the West. I know it would've been a lot more profitable for you if you did."

"Your family lives there. Had I taken my gang war there, things could've been worse for them. I gave you my word, and I intend to keep it as best I can, circumstances willing. Are we good now?"

"We are. But right now, we need to figure out a way for Bell to quit. If he stays in this game, he'll die. He has no idea what he's up against."

"Well, scaring him didn't work. Who knows if his mom talking to him would work? Why don't you try talking with him?"

Alfia remained quiet as she didn't know what to say. How would Bell react to her calling him after all this time? Does he know who she is and what she does?

I mean, she abandoned him and broke his heart. From what Alfia heard, her leaving changed him. Would he really want to talk to her after all this time?

"I can tell that's a touchy subject, so I won't say anything else. Just keep that in the back of your mind. Now, if we're finished, I have a few more calls to make."

Alfia didn't say anything else and left Ottar's office.

Word brushed his teeth as he was getting ready for bed. He wasn't going to school tomorrow as he wasn't feeling too well.

His body felt cold, yet he kept sweating profusely. His hands were clammy and shaky, and his eyes had trouble focusing.

Meteria came over to check up on him and said he had a virus running through him, so she got him some medicine from her friend Airmid.

Welf thanked her and was glad Bell's mom was around when his wasn't.

He set his toothbrush down after finishing, and his body racked with coughs.

"Man, this sucks ass," He groaned, stumbling to bed.

Once he crawled in, he pulled the covers around himself and bundled up. He was drifting off to sleep when he heard a voice.

"Hungry"

Welf's eyes shot open, and he looked around the room and saw nobody.

"Who said that?" Welf wondered.

"I did"

Wlef looked around the room again and saw no one.

"Wait, can you read my thoughts?"

"Correct"

"What the fuck. That is so weird. What the hell are you?!!"

"Venom"

"Your Venom? What's that supposed to mean?!!" He shouted.

"That's my name."

"Ok, what are you, and why are you reading my thoughts?"

"I bonded with you. You're my host now."

"Your host?!! What are you some sort of parasite?!!"

"A symbiote. I crashed on your planet and looked for a host to survive. You were the first human I came across."

"So you're just leeching off of me, is that it? Wait, you're an alien, like from outer space and stuff?"

"Yes, and I'm not leeching off of you. I provide you with some of my abilities. But I'm hungry."

"Ok, wait wait wait. I've made first contact with an alien species. Do you know what this means?"

"That you'll feed me?"

"No. Well, yes, but this means that aliens do exist. Oh man, I gotta tell Bell about this when I feel better."

Welf was brimming with excitement. He had to tell Bell all about this. Who knows what this could mean for the world if they knew aliens were real?

"Feed me."

"Oh yeah, right. Uh, what do you eat?"

"Brains"

"I am not feeding you that pick something else!" Welf demanded.

"Chocolate"

"Alright, that'll work. I have some downstairs."

Welf crawled out of bed and began walking to the stairs.

"Say, tell me what's your planet like."
