This is the opening chapter of a Trek story I've had floating around my head for several years. It takes place over several years during the original series. By the way, I don't own Star Trek or the characters from the series.

When a reporter from the Federation News Network is assigned to the ship to investigate rumors regarding Kirk and Spock, Christine, newly engaged to Spock, decides to confront him once and for all regarding his relationship with Kirk.
