A/N: And now for my next story, which is a little more light-hearted. That's right, to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of "Danny Phantom: The Ultimate Enemy", I am now also releasing "The Phantom Twins: The Adventures of Danny & Dani Phantom"! While the original voice cast, including the iconic David Kaufman, would voice the characters as normally, bconfer368's OC's which are Dani Fenton, Dan Fenton and Jamie Fenton (who is a 1-year-old baby girl) would be voiced by Miranda Cosgrove, for Dani, Troy Baker, for Dan, and Tara Strong, for Jamie. Enjoy. :)

The Phantom Twins: The Adventures of Danny and Dani Phantom

Chapter 1: Mystery Meat

Act I

It all started while Jack Fenton was giving out a sort of session, standing in front of four teenagers in chairs. On the far left are his son and daughter, Danny Fenton, a black-haired boy dressed in a white-and-red-shirt, blue jeans, and red-and-white sneakers, and Dani Fenton, a black-haired girl, who wears clothes of a similar color, only the sleeves are longer and are red while her shirt has a midriff. Sitting next to them are a black-haired girl and an African-American boy. The girl, Sam Manson, is wearing a black-and-purple tank top that exposes her midriff, a black skirt with green plaid stripes, purple tights, and black boots. The other boy, Tucker Foley, is wearing a red hat with a yellow shirt along with green pants and brown boots. The entire group is sitting in front of a closed yellow-and-black-striped door that seems to be a portal of some kind.

"So, Danny and Dani, you and your little friends want to hunt ghosts?", Jack offered.

"Uh, actually, Dad? I want to be an astronaut.", Danny responded.

"I, on the other hand, wanted to be a zoologist. Or a doctor. Or maybe even a scientist.", Dani responded.

"Sorry, Mr. Fenton. I was into ghosts, but they're so mainstream now. They're like cellphones.", Sam added.

"Waste these looks and all this charisma hunting ghosts? Criminal.", Tucker added.

"Well, if you do want to hunt ghosts, there are a few things you need to learn.", Jack began as he turned to a table with laboratory equipment and beakers.

However, a blue mist suddenly escaped both Danny and Dani's mouths.

"Oh, no.", Danny and Dani spoke again the same time as the portal door was opening.

"This isn't good.", Danny spoke.

"I second that.", Dani agreed as two ectopuses escape from the portal, growling.

The ghosts then grabbed Sam and Tucker around their mouths and lifted them up out of their chairs. Danny and Dani looked alarmed as the ectopuses floated above the floor, Sam and Tucker still in their grasp as Jack continued lecturing.

"True, I've never seen a ghost, but when I do, I'll be prepared. And so will you. Whether you want to be or not.", Jack spoke before Dani turned to Danny and nodded before the latter got a determined look on his face and jumped up after the ghosts with a white light appearing and disappearing before various fighting noises are heard while Jack obliviously messed with the various items on the lab table.

"Okay, Dad. Let's say that I do want to hunt some ghosts. What do I do?", Dani asked, mainly to keep Jack distracted while Danny takes care of business as usual.

"Well, Dani, it all starts with your equipment.", Jack responded as he held up a thermos, not knowing about an ectopus flying past him.

Then, Sam and Tucker are flung back into their chairs before Jack went over to them.

"Dani, Sam, Tucker, this is the Fenton Thermos.", Jack introduces as he handed the thermos to Sam, and both Sam and Tucker looked at it before Jack turned back around to the lab table.

"Huh. That's nice. So, what does it do?", Dani asked.

"It's supposed to trap ghosts, but since it doesn't work yet it's just a thermos. A thermos with the word "Fenton" in front of it.", Jack explained as right behind him, another ectopus flew past him without Jack even noticing.

The ectopuses look defeated and dizzy before they fly back into the portal before another white light flashed with Danny shown standing where the light came from as the portal suddenly closed before Danny jumped back to his seat with Jack pointing at the now-closed portal afterwards.

"And that? That is the Fenton Portal. It releases ghosts into our world whether I want it to or not. And someday, I'll figure out how that works too.", Jack added as he tapped the door before he turned around and walked towards a trembling Sam and Tucker, towering over them.

"Now, who wants to hunt some ghosts?", Jack asked to, Sam and Tucker, who are trembling, as Danny was panting as he was quite out of breath, putting a hand on the back of Tucker's chair.

"You kids, look at you! You're too excited to speak!", Jack assumed.

"Uh, no offense, but that's not what it looks like to me, Dad.", Dani responded.

"Well, they're certainly excited about something. So, I'll just go on speaking. I was born many years ago in a log cabin in the woods. Don't exactly remember where, but I do remember I wanted a pony. Never got the pony. As a matter of fact, we had to eat horsemeat during the war. I had a problem with that.", Jack spoke as Dani, Sam, and Tucker looked at Danny, who only hung his head down in exhaustion.

Opening Theme:

As the intro started, it showed several shots of Danny and Dani individually before it showed the twins together as they then phased through the floor upwards and then through the wall before descending downwards with a green ghost going up before it then zoomed in on one of Danny's eyes.

(They're the phantoms)

(They're the Phantoms, Phantoms, Phantoms)

Then, it showed Danny and Dani walking into the lab, noticing that Jack and Maddie were making a sort of portal before showing the blueprint of said portal to Danny and Dani, who were a bit puzzled before their parents eagerly plugged the cords for the portal on only to notice that the portal seemed inoperable before the two ghost hunters left dejectedly with Danny and Dani going in to take a look at the problem as they put the white suits on before they went inside and pressed the on button by accident, causing the portal to turn back on but with them inside it before their black hairs turned snow white, their eyes turned green in the irises, and the white suits turned black as the gloves and shoes turned white before it then showed green ooze with red eyes covering a purple DNA Strand completely.

Danny and Dani Fenton, they were just 14,

When their parents built a very strange machine

It was designed to view, a world unseen

(They're gonna catch em all 'cause they're the Phantoms)

When it didn't quite work, their folks, they just quit,

Then, they took a look inside of it,

There was a great big flash, everything just changed,

Their molecules got all rearranged!

(Phantom, Phantom)

Then, Danny and Dani woke up before hurriedly running to a mirror to notice that their hair had turned white while their suits were inverted and their hair was silver before their eyes turned green before they both phased through the wall and turned invisible before turning visible again and then flying away before Dash then stuffed Danny in his locker and closed it before Danny phased through his locker door, opening it, and then shoving Dash inside it with Dani facepalming herself in slight disgust before later, the blue mists escaped their mouths before the twins looked back at the ghost portal to notice ghosts coming through said portal and surrounding them before Danny and Dani went ghost and then charged toward the frightened goats before attacking them as Danny attacked one ghost as Dani was chasing after another before the twins then hit the two ghosts against each other before one popped up from the wall only to get smacked to the wall by Danny as he and Dani smirked.

When they first woke up, they realized,

they had snow white hair, and glowin' green eyes.

they could walk through walls, disappear, and fly,

they were much more unique than the other guys

And it was then that they knew what they had to do,

they had to stop all the ghosts that were comin' through,

they're here to fight, for me and you!

He's gonna catch 'em all, 'cause he's Danny Phantom,

She's gonna catch 'em all, 'cause she's Dani Phantom,

They're gonna catch 'em all, 'cause they're (they're the Phantoms)

Act II

Later, at Fenton Works, which has a rather eccentric-looking rooftop complete with various satellite dishes and tracking equipment, Danny and Dani's mother, Maddie, was busy cooking in the kitchen as she put on the hood of her blue jumpsuit and began putting some final touches using a blowtorch on a new invention. Danny and Dani's older sister, Jazz, as well as their older brother, Dan, glanced up from a book to look at her mom with annoyance before going back to reading as did Dani while she was eating breakfast. Dani busy eating cereal as she did her homework when her hand suddenly turned intangible, causing her spoon to drop through her hand as she attempted to take a bite of cereal before gasping upon realizing what happened and looked down at her missing hand. Upon realizing her hand is invisible, Dani freaked out and quickly hid her hand under the table as Jamie, her much younger sister in a high chair, noticed and giggled from the sight.

"Okay, two more days, and it's done!", Maddie spoke as she turned off the torch before Jack abruptly appeared behind her.

"What did you say? It's done? The Fenton Finder is done! This baby uses satellites to lead you right to the ghosts.", Jack spoke as he grabbed the invention and held it dramatically in front of him.

"It uses what to track what?", Danny asked nervously as Dani gulped in the same nervous tone.

"Welcome to the Fenton Finder. Ghost are near. Walk forward.", the Fenton Finder spoke in a woman's voice.

Worried about what could happen, both Danny and Dani walked away from the invention while their parents move closer toward them, the invention beeping louder and faster the closer they get before they're backed into a wall as Maddie and a confused Jack holding the Fenton Finder stood in front of them.

"Ghosts located. Thank you for using the Fenton Finder.", the Fenton Finder spoke as Danny and Dani gave them a weak smile.

"What? Oh, that can't be right.", Jack puzzled before Dani and Danny's whole bodies suddenly turns invisible while the former's started to float 1 foot above the ground.

They looked down at themselves, terrified, and quickly managed to return to normal before giving a look of defeat.

"Actually...we need to tell you guys something.", Danny spoke before Jazz and Dan closed their books and went over to where their parents, Danny, and Dani are standing.

"That's not all you need, you two. You need guidance, and parents who can provide it.", Jazz interrupted.

"Sweetie, I know what we do doesn't make sense sometimes, but you're only...", Maddie began before Dan interrupted.

"Sixteen. Biologically! But psychologically, she's an adult! And that's coming from me: a 20-year-old! And we will not allow your insane obsession with ghosts to pollute the minds of these impressionable little children!", Dan spoke as he looked down at Danny and Dani, who seemed a little weirded out by this conversation.

"Come on, Dan. I'm not that little.", Dani blushed.

"Come, you abused, unwanted wretches. We'll drive you two to school.", Jazz offered, glaring at her parents before walking off, her arms still around Danny as Dan's are around Dani.

"Huh. That's weird. Jasmine never offers to drive Danny to school. And for that matter, Dan never offered to drive Dani there either.", Maddie stated.

"That can only mean one thing. That's not our kids; that's a couple of ghosts.", Jack deduced before running after them.

"Danny, Dani, no! It's a trap!", Jack shouted as Maddie followed after him.

Later, at Casper High School, Danny, Dani, Sam, and Tucker walked through a hallway full of students before going up a flight of stairs.

"I think we should tell them.", Danny spoke.

"Agreed. The sooner we tell them, the better.", Dani agreed as the group stopped walking midway up the stairs.

"Why? Parents don't listen. Even worse, they don't understand! WHY CAN'T THEY ACCEPT ME FOR WHO I AM?!", Sam shouted as she threw her head back.

"Not what we meant, Sam!", Dani retorted.

"Yeah. We're talking about our powers, our problems?", Danny added.

"Oh, right. Me too.", Sam spoke in both realization and embarrassment.

"It's been a month since the accident and we still have barely any control!", Dani spoke.

"Yeah, and if somebody catches any one of us, we'd go from geek to freak around here!", Danny added as he started sinking into the floor while Dani, Sam, and Tucker watched.

"Kinda like what you're doing right now?", Tucker asked, raising an eyebrow.

Then, Danny suddenly realized his lower half became intangible, causing him to sink, and yelped before Dani, Sam, and Tucker helped him out just as his feet and lower half returned to normal.

"Ah, darn it! If our dad can invent something that accidentally made us half-ghost, why can't he invent something that turns us back to normal?", Danny asked as Dani, Sam, and, Tucker followed him up the rest of the stairs.

"I know, right? Is it really too much to ask to get our normal lives back?", Dani agreed as she suddenly became intangible and walked through a snack machine without paying any attention before Dani's body returned to normal as Sam caught up.

"Dani, you and your brother's powers make both of you unique. Unique is good! That's why I'm an ultra recyclo-vegetarian.", Sam assured.

"Which means what?", Tucker asked.

"She doesn't eat anything with a face on it.", Danny explained.

"Oh, who cares about that stuff? Danny, two words: meat connoisseur.", Tucker spoke before sniffing the air around Danny.

"Last night, you had Sloppy Joes.", Tucker deduced.

"Impressive.", Danny commented.

"How can you tell?", Dani spoke in surprise.

"Meat heightens the senses, and my all-meat streak is fourteen years strong.", Tucker responded.

"...And it's about to end. The school board finally agreed to try a new cafeteria menu. I wore them down.", Sam spoke.

"Wait... What did you do?", Tucker asked worriedly.

"What did you do?", Dani puzzled.

Later, at the cafeteria, Sam and the school board's changes to the menu were made evident by a big banner stating that this week is "Ultra Recyclo-Vegetarian" week as the lunch lady gave what looked like a tuft of grass on bread to a student, and then one to Danny and Dani.

"What is this? Grass on a bun?", Danny asked.

"I know. Isn't that a bit much?", Dani commented.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!", Tucker exclaimed dramatically.

"Tucker, it's time for a change.", Sam smirked as she held up the "grass on a bun" in her hand.

Back at Fenton Works, a door to the ghost portal opened with an elderly female ghost dressed in lunch lady garb walks out of the portal.

"Ooh! Somebody changed the menu!", the Lunch Lady spoke before she phased out through the basement's ceiling while Maddie, who has Jamie strapped to her chest in a baby carrier, and Jack were working on another invention, failing to notice the ghost at all.

"Maybe this is a bad idea.", Maddie commented.

"No, it's perfect. When Dan and Jazz get home, we suck the ghost out of 'em with a Fenton Xtractor.", Jack spoke while striking a pose with the new invention which looks like a vacuum cleaner.

"But what if Dan and Jazz aren't ghosts? What if we accidentally hurt them?", Maddie asked worriedly.

"Maddie, the Fenton Xtractor doesn't hurt humans...unless it gets in your hair...", Jack assured before Jamie turned it on with Jack beginning to yelling in pain as the suction ripped most of his hair out with Jamie laughing as after a few seconds, he was now calm.

"See?", Jack grinned.

Back at the Casper High cafeteria, Danny and Dani have some of the grass on a bun" on their spoons and seemed to be debating whether to eat it or not.

"Don't you think this is a little extreme, Sam?", Danny asked.

"Yeah, I appreciate the effort for that and I may be a vegetarian, but there are some veggies even I won't eat, especially if it's just grass on a bun, and that's coming from me.", Dani added as Sam only smiled before someone put a hand on her shoulder.

"Ah, Miss Manson. The school board wanted me to personally thank you for ushering in this welcome experiment to our cafeteria.", the teacher, Mr. Lancer, grinned before Tucker sniffed the air frantically.

"Meat. Near.", Tucker spoke before he looked up at Lancer and sniffed the air around him before glaring at him while the man backed away.

"No, no. The rumors about the new all-steak buffet in the teacher's lounge are completely untrue.", Mr. Lancer assured as he pulled out a toothpick and used it before putting a hand on Sam's shoulder again.

"Thanks again.", Mr. Lancer spoke before leaving.

"Yeah, thanks again for making us eat garbage, Sam.", Tucker glared.

"It's not garbage. It's recyclable organic matter.", Sam retorted as she held up the "grass on a bun".

"It's garbage.", Danny and Tucker retorted.

Meanwhile, the Lunch Lady gave a shifty-eyed glance around before pulling a hamburger out of her pocket and sneaking away in order to eat it just as the Lunch Lady Ghost phased through the ceiling and looked at the "Ultra Recyclo Veggie Lunch Menu" before glaring at it as elsewhere, Danny and Dani were still holding the spoonfuls of "grass on a bun" before they gasp as their ghost sense goes off with a blue mist leaving their mouths.

"Uh, guys? We've got a problem.", Dani spoke before a handful of mud suddenly landed on Danny's head.

"FENTON!", a voice shouted before Danny turned around and grimaced.

"Make that two problems.", Danny sighed.

Dash Baxter, a jock, stormed over to Danny with a plate of mud in his hands.

"I ordered three mud pies. Do you know what they gave me? Three mud pies. With mud. From the ground! All because of your girlfriend!", Dash spoke angrily.

"She's not my girlfriend!", Danny responded.

"I'm not his girlfriend!", Sam added before Dash grabbed Danny by his shirt and lifted him a few inches off the ground.

"These are the best years of my life! After high school, it's all downhill for me! How am I supposed to enjoy my glory days eating mud?!", Dash shouted angrily.

"Actually, it's topsoil.", Sam corrected.

"Whatever!", Dash responded before he tossed Danny at the table with Danny landing on the bench before Dash walked over and carried the plate of mud to the table near Danny's face.

"Eat it. All of it.", Dash demanded with Danny seeming to be about to go through with eating the topsoil when his and Dani's ghost senses go off again and they see the Lunch Lady floating behind the lunch counter before Danny glanced down at the plate and picked it up, preparing to toss it.

"Uh...uh...GARBAGE FIGHT!", Danny shouted before he tossed the plate and hit Dash in the face.

The other students began throwing food as well and chaos ensues. Sam peeked out from behind a table.

"It's not garbage! It's-", Sam began before Danny's hand suddenly grabbed her and pulled her back down towards the floor.

Then, Dani and the trio began crawling away from the cafeteria. While crawling, though, Danny turned and looked behind him to notice that Dash seemed angry while the garbage fight continued behind him.

"You're gonna pay for this, Fenton!", Dash threatened before he got hit on the head again with mud two times.

"Great. I'm still his favorite.", Danny groaned.

"Well, maybe you shouldn't have started this food fight to start with.", Dani spoke with an angry glare toward her brother.

The group then managed to crawl out the cafeteria door before Danny, Dani, and Tucker peeked their heads around it to see the Lunch Lady Ghost.

"Huh. Shouldn't be so bad. She looks a little like my grandmother.", Tucker commented.

"Huh. Now that you mention it, I'm starting to see the resemblance.", Dani commented.

"Shouldn't she be haunting a bingo hall?", Danny puzzled as he, Dani, and Tucker were now standing in the room while Sam peeked out from behind the door before they closed the door behind them, causing the ghost to turn to notice the group.

"Hello, children. Can you help me? Today's lunch is meatloaf, but I don't see the meatloaf. Did someone change the menu?", the ghost asked nicely.

"Yeah. She did.", Tucker responded as she pointed her thumb at Sam, causing the Lunch Lady to become extremely angry with her hair flaming on end and eyes flashing red, worrying the group as they gasped.

"YOU CHANGED THE MENU?! THE MENU HAS BEEN THE SAME FOR FIFTY YEARS!", Lunch a Lady shouted before she roared as green flames surrounded her and appeared circling above her head.

"Get behind us!", Dani urged before Sam and Tucker promptly jumped behind Danny and Dani.

"Wow. I feel safe.", Sam spoke sarcastically.

"We're going ghost!", Danny and Dani shouted in unison before they both developed white rings around each other before they went up and down, changing their hair color from black to snow shots, their eyes from blue to green, and their clothes to a black suit with silver gloves and shoes, although Dani still has a midriff.

After transforming, they leapt up toward the ghost as Sam and Tucker watch wide-eyed before the Twins floated up toward the enraged Lunch Lady with the former seeming a little unsure of himself.

"I command you to...go away!", Danny spoke.

"Not bad. But I think it'd go better like, 'Sorry, Lunch Lady, but carnage is not on the menu'.", Dani commented.

Then, the Lunch Lady, in her anger, caused many piles of dishes surrounding a sink to begin to glow and float around, before shooting them at Danny and Dani, both of which turned intangible in response, causing the dishes to pass right through them before hitting the wall behind them before they returned to normal, and smiled in relief.

However, it was only a matter of time before a bunch of dishes are headed right for Sam, which Danny noticed and flew in front of to catch in neat stacks with his hands and arms. The Lunch Lady only used her powers to send even more dishes flying towards Tucker in retaliation before Dani caught these dishes in stacks, as well as a few in her mouth as Tucker stopped wincing after realizing Dani stopped the dishes and smiled. Then, both Danny and Dani flew off to put the dishes back on the counter, leaving a few dishes still in her mouth, before she removed these dishes and stared at her reflection in them as did Danny for his reflection.

"Well, if this superhero thing doesn't work out, I can have an exciting career as a busboy.", Danny commented.

"I don't know. I think we're doing good.", Dani assured.

However, while looking at their reflection in the plates, they noticed the stoves behind them beginning to move around before they frowned worriedly.

"I control lunch! Lunch is sacred! Lunch has rules!", the Lunch Lady shouted before she suddenly got back to being calm.

"Anybody want cake?", the Lunch Lady asked sweetly before Sam and Tucker nodded their heads in shock.

"Too bad! Children who change my menu do not get dessert!", the Lunch Lady rebuffed before she phased out through the ceiling while the three stoves began to emit green flames.

The green flames fired out of the ovens toward Sam and Tucker who dodge out of the way. Danny and Dani dodged a blast of flames as well. The three stoves looked angry and flew at Tucker and Sam, who flinched before the twins flew up behind them, grabbed their shoulders, and made the entire group intangible before they quickly flew them through the wall and out of the kitchen just before the stoves hit and cracked the wall where the group just flew through before they turned tangible again, rolled out into the middle of a hallway, and looked behind them in shock.

"Hey! It worked!", Danny and Dani spoke as they looked down at their hands in amazement.

"This is the thanks I get for thinking like an individual?", Sam commented irritatedly.

"No. It's more like the thanks you get for changing the menu.", Dani retorted before a loud crash sounded with Danny and Tucker turning to look for the cause.

Suddenly, the hallway began shaking violently as the lights went out. Danny and Dani looked worried and then noticed the row of lockers closest to him before two of the lockers opened with a bunch of school supplies flying out. Sam looked on in surprise as suddenly, a locker next to her did the same thing, as well as the rest of the lockers. The supplies flew to the Lunch Lady, swirling through and behind her. The group looked shocked, especially Tucker, whose eyes suddenly widen before he sniffed the air.

"Steak...! Rib-eye...! No, porterhouse! Medium-rare!", Tucker analyzed while various meat products flew past him.

Then, the meat products began attaching themselves to the Lunch Lady's body until she was completely covered and only her mean green eyes are showing.

"But where did it come from?", Dani puzzled before Tucker glared and turned to look behind him as if you answer.

"Lancer...", Tucker glared before a piece of paper hit Tucker in the face.

Meanwhile, Mr. Lancer was holding a sort of feast at Teacher's Lounge.

"Esteemed Casper High faculty, I present your all-steak buffet.", Mr. Lancer said, speaking to several teachers and staff members before he pulled off a tablecloth covering the supposed buffet, but the meat is missing.

Some eager staff members with forks and knives gasped at the sight before Mr. Lancer realized something's wrong and looked down at the table in shock. All that was left is a rattling bone. Then, it was only a matter of time before Mr. Lancer got angry as he slammed his hands on the table.

"PARADISE LOST!", Mr. Lancer growled.

Meanwhile, at the hallway, the now meat-covered Lunch Lady towered over the group.

"Prepare to learn why meat is the most powerful of the five food groups!", the Lunch Lady threatened before she suddenly lost her rage and went back to "innocent lunch lady mode," holding up a cookie.

"Cookie?", the Lunch Lady asked before Sam shook her head "no."

The ghost seemed surprised she was turned down for a split second before reverting back to "evil lunch lady mode."

"Then perish!", the Lunch Lady shouted as she raised a clawed hand to attack Sam only for Danny and Dani to slide backwards towards Sam to protect her.

"Forget it, lunch meat!", Dani rebuffed.

"Yeah! The only thing that has an expiration date here is you!", Danny agreed, pointing at the Lunch Lady, before accidentally reverting back to his human self.

"Whoops! I didn't mean to do that.", Danny spoke before the Lunch Lady roared and grabbed Danny before sending him flying into Tucker. Both hit the lockers behind them and a pile of papers covered them up.

"Danny! Tucker! You guys okay?", Dani asked.

"Yeah. Never better.", Danny responded.

Then, the Lunch Lady grabbed Sam off the ground and flew off down the hallway, taking Sam with her.

"Sam!", Dani shouted in worry before she took off after the Lunch Lady.

"Come on! Change back! We gotta go help her!", Tucker urged before suddenly, two hands suddenly grabbed both boys by their collars.

"You two aren't going anywhere.", Lancer discouraged as he pulled the boys up off the ground.

Then, Dash, still covered in mud, was standing behind Mr. Lancer, smirking in victory.

"Told ya you'd pay, Fenton!", Dash smirked before Danny gave a worried look as to what would happen next.

Act III

Later, in Mr. Lancer's office, Dash, Danny, Tucker, and Mr. Lancer himself are gathered as Lancer was sorting through files in a file cabinet while Danny and Tucker sat in chairs in front of his desk with Dash leaning against the wall, looking pleased before Mr. Lancer pulled out a file and read it.

"Tucker Foley. Chronic tardiness, talking in class, repeated loitering by the girl's locker room.", Mr. Lancer read as Tucker smiled slyly.

"Danny Fenton. Thirty-four dropped beakers in the last month, banned for life from handling all fragile school property, but no severe mischief before today. So, gentlemen, tell me...", Mr. Lancer began before he slammed the file on his desk.

"WHY DID THE TWO OF YOU CONSPIRE TO DESTROY THE SCHOOL'S CAFETERIA?!", Mr. Lancer angrily shouted.

"Dash started it! He threw...!", Danny began defensively.

"Four touchdown passes in the last game is thereby exempt from scorn. You two, however, are not.", Mr. Lancer interrupted as Dash smirked proudly.

"I'll map out your punishment when I return.", Mr. Lancer spoke as he walked outside the office and stood in the office doorway.

"Mr. Baxter, watch the door.", Mr. Lancer spoke before he left with Dash smirking before closing the door.

When the coast was clear, Danny and Tucker stood up from their seats.

"We gotta help Dani find Sam. For some reason, I feel like I got her kidnapped.", Tucker spoke.

"Maybe because you told the ghost she changed the menu? How about that?", Danny retorted glaringly.

"Easy, Danny. Playing the blame game isn't going to help us get Sam back, much less stop that ghost.", Dani spoke as she phased through the floor.

"Dani. You're back.", Danny grinned.

"But what are you doing here?", Tucker asked.

"What does it look like? I'm busting you out.", Dani whispered.

"But weren't you chasing that ghost earlier?", Danny asked.

"Well, yes and no. I was tracking it to where the meat would most likely be. I bet you can guess where that is.", Dani responded before, as if you answer, Tucker suddenly sniffed the air.

"That steak is still in the building. 200 yards, tops.", Tucker spoke.

Then, Danny glanced over at a wall of TVs showing different security camera views of the school with several cameras showing a storage room filled with boxes of meat. The last one showed a trail of meat juice in front of the boxes.

"Check it out. Meat trail.", Danny spoke, pointing at the screen.

"I just came from that area. Although, I had to turn intangible so I wouldn't be seen on the camera, but never mind that. The sooner we stop that ghost, the sooner we can save Sam.", Dani spoke before Danny went ghost, grabbed Tucker's arm, and then turned them both intangible before phasing down through the floor.

"Whoa!", Tucker exclaimed before Dani phased down through the floor as well just as the office door opened with Mr. Lancer entering, carrying a broom, with Dash right behind him.

"Gentlemen, your punishment will be...", Mr. Lancer began before noticing that the boys are gone from the room.

"WORSE THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE!", Mr. Lancer finished angrily.

Meanwhile, Danny, Dani, and Tucker entered the meat storage room from the security footage with Tucker looking elated from all the meat.

"Sweet mother of mutton! I'd dreamed of it, but...I never thought I'd live to see it!", Tucker spoke excitedly as he hugged the boxes of meat.

"How is it that we have the ghost powers and you're the weird kid?", Danny puzzled to Tucker.

"You took the words right out of my mouth, Danny.", Dani agreed before their eyes widened as they heard cackling nearby before they peered around the corner of a stack of boxes and saw the Lunch Lady, who was floating in front of Sam who was trapped neck-deep in a large pile of meat.

"My dear child...meat is good for kids. It helps them grow and makes them smile. Why won't you eat it?", the Lunch Lady asked as she offered Sam a chicken leg.

"We don't need meat. That's fact!", Sam responded before the Lunch Lady suddenly reverted back to her evil lunch lady form, with wind blowing around her.

"SILENCE! You need discipline, manners, respect! You know where that comes from? MEAT!", the Lunch Lady shouted, pointing at Sam, before the wind stopped suddenly and the Lunch Lady reverted back again.

"Chicken? Or fish?", the Lunch Lady asked calmly.

"We'll take care of the ghost. You just find a way to get Sam out of that pile of meat!", Danny spoke.

"Waaaay ahead of you.", Tucker responded, holding up a fork and knife.

"You know, just getting the meat off Sam would be quicker and more effective. I'm just saying.", Dani suggested.

Then, the twins flew off to punch the Lunch Lady, who turned around surprised, but noticed Danny and Dani too late before she was sent flying and crashing into a nearby wall before collapsing to the ground with Danny and Dani landing in front of her before the Lunch Lady glared at him as Sam stopped looking in Danny and Dani's direction and then noticed Tucker cutting away pieces of the meat with his knife.

"I'll have you free in no time, Sam!", Tucker assured enthusiastically.

"You've gotta be kidding me.", Sam frowned in disbelief.

"I know, right?", Dani responded as she and Danny crouched on the ground before the latter jumped up and somersaulted in the air before preparing to kick the ghost only for her to catch his foot in her hand right before he hits her, and then dangle a surprised Danny upside-down by his foot.

"Don't you see? This is why you need meat! You're skin and bones!", the Lunch Lady shouted as she tossed Danny, sending him flying through the air before Dani caught Danny.

"Gotcha, Danny!", Dani assured as she and Danny both turned intangible and phased halfway through a nearby wall before falling to the ground.

"Thanks, Dani.", Danny thanked as they both stood up out of the wall before turning tangible.

"You're welcome.", Dani responded before the Lunch Lady summoned shish-kebabs from a box with their pointed ends heading straight for Danny and Dani, who saw this and split each of their bodies in two with the meat passing through the stretched intangible areas of their bodies they created.

"Phew. That was close.", Dani sighed, both twins smiling at the new power, but the smiles quickly faded after seeing what the ghost is up to now.

The Lunch Lady roared and summoned meat out of all of the boxes as Danny and Dani pieced themselves together again and watched the meat go flying towards the ghost as meanwhile, Tucker was about to take a bite of meat but the piece as well as the meat pile that was covering Sam flew off toward the ghost. The meat soared around and attached itself to the Lunch Lady piece by piece to form the meat monster she was earlier before she fired a meat fist at Danny and Dani, capturing them in her grasp.

"Help's on the way, buddy!", Tucker assured, striking a determined pose, fork and knife handy before the Lunch Lady tossed Danny and Dani aside, sending them flying toward a wall as they shouted, turning intangible, before they passed through it.

The Lunch Lady then loomed over Sam and Tucker, growling at them loudly, worrying the two friends as they looked scared.

"Run?", Tucker asked.

"Run.", Sam agreed before she and Tucker yelled as they headed for the door, but the ghost sent a pile of meat to block their exit, knocking them back.

Then, Danny and Dani held the back of their heads as they phased partly back into the room as the latter groaned before they noticed Sam and Tucker yelling as they ran past them, and they determinedly went flying after them just as the Lunch Lady made fists with her hands and prepared to slam down on Sam and Tucker, only for Danny and Dani to quickly fly down and grab Tucker in his arms and Sam in Dani's before both turned them intangible and flew through a wall. The Lunch Lady grew surprised and couldn't stop herself in time before the meat splattered all against the wall as Danny, Dani, Sam, and Tucker phased through the wall outside, floating, before turning tangible again with the twins looking tired.

"Gee, you two. Fighting meat monsters, flying through walls...You guys must be exhausted.", Sam guessed.

"What? Of course not! What would give you that idea?", Danny responded defensible as he started trailing off.

"But now that you mention it, I am...feeling a little...sleepy...", Dani added with a yawn before the group fell to the ground as Danny and Dani passed out from exhaustion before they returned back to their human selves with Sam and Tucker looking at each other.

Later, at Fenton Works, Jazz and Dan opened the front door.

"Mom? Dad?", Jazz asked.

"Jamie? Anyone here?", Dan added as the two older siblings stepped into the room before the door suddenly slammed shut behind them.

Two smoke bombs then rolled in front of them, covering the scene with smoke.

"Now, Maddie! Hit 'em! I'm moving in!", Jack urged, hidden by the smoke, before Jazz shrieked as Dan grunted.

"Get my back!", Jack shouted before the smoke cleared to show an irritated Jazz with her arms crossed and the livid Dan clearing his thrust disapprovingly as their parents have latched themselves onto their legs, the Fenton Xtractor attached to her hair with Jamie laughing before Maddie and Jack let go of their legs.

Then, Dan and Jazz walks off, the Xtractor still on the latter's hair.

"This is all going in the memoir.", Jazz spoke as she and Dan walked away before Maddie and Jack got up off the ground.

The front door then opened to reveal Sam and Tucker carrying the still-unconscious twins with each one on their backs.

"Hey, Mr. and Mrs. Fenton! What a school day! Poor twins nodded off. We figured we'd just carry 'em all the way home and tuck 'em into bed without any parental interaction whatsoever.", Tucker spoke as he and Sam started carrying Danny and Dani upstairs.

"Don't get up! We know where to go. Bye!", Sam added as she and Tucker took the twins upstairs before Jack looked up to the ceiling in thought.

"Jack, Danny and Dani are not ghosts.", Maddie spoke.

"You're right.", Jack concurred as Dan was trying to help Jazz get her hair out of the Xtractor then back to Jack.

"Dan and Jazz are...", Jack glared.

Later, Danny and Dani suddenly woke up with a yelp on the former's bed.

"Ah! Aah! Wha? What happened?", Dani asked.

"What's going on?", Danny added as Tucker and Sam were looking down at them.

"You two passed out. We took you home. You've both been asleep for four days!", Tucker responded before Danny and Dani sat up quickly in alarm.

"FOUR DAYS?!", Danny and Dani exclaimed.

"Nah. It's only been a couple hours.", Tucker assured after chuckling before Danny and Dani lay back down, still a little shaken.

"Knock it off, Tucker. This is the second time today your carelessness almost got them killed.", Sam urged.

"Me? I almost got them killed? The only reason this happened is because you had to be unique. You had to take the meat away! And I'm going to get it back.", Tucker retorted before he stormed off.

"You want to change that menu back? YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO GO THROUGH ME TO DO IT!", Sam shouted as she went over to the door to the bedroom before leaving, slamming the door closed.

"Why do I have a feeling that this isn't going to end well?", Dani asked worriedly.

"Oh, well. I'm sure everything will be back to normal by tomorrow.", Danny guessed.

"With the way things are going, I'm not so sure that they ever will. But I hope you're right.", Dani responded.

Later, outside Casper High, a few students are looking at something as Danny and Dani walked up, a look of disbelief on his face and a look of shock on hers, confirming her suspicions.

"Or not. Maybe it'll be worse.", Danny spoke as a bunch of meat lovers decked out in meat merchandise.

On a stage, even some girls are dancing in hot dog outfits before they danced offstage and Tucker appeared carrying a microphone in his hand.

"What do we want?", Tucker shouted in the microphone.

"MEAT!", the meat lovers shouted.

"When do we want it?", Tucker shouted through the microphone.

"NOW!", the meat lovers shouted.

Then, Danny and Dani looked over at the other side of the protest: a vegetarian equivalent of the meat-protest side full of hippies, laid-back people, and goths as Sam was standing on top of a school bus yelling into a microphone while carrying a sign that reads "NOW!"

"VEGGIES NOW! VEGGIES FOREVER! VEGGIES NOW! VEGGIES FOREVER!", Sam and the Veggie Lovers shouted before Sam and Tucker came to stand on opposite sides of Danny and Dani, glaring at each other.

"You guys put together two protests in one night?", Danny asked in disbelief.

"Meat-eaters, Danny. Always ready to fight. And our high-protein diets give us the energy we need to do it quickly.", Tucker responded.

"Ultra recyclo-vegetarians are always ready to protest. And because we don't have to waste time cooking our food, we can move even faster.", Sam argued.

"Don't you guys think this is a little extreme?", Danny asked.

"No choice, buddy. You're either with me...", Tucker began, continuing to glare.

"Or you're against him!", Sam added before she and Tucker leaned over Danny and Dani as they ducked a little.

"So whose side are you on?", Sam and Tucker demanded.

"Look, Sam. I'm already on your side. Isn't that enough?", Dani asked just before a wind suddenly started blowing and the sky turned gray.

Sam and Tucker's eyes widened before cackling was heard as Danny and Dani's ghost senses go off. The crowd looked bewildered and confused up until the voice roared angrily as the contents of a meat truck flew out in various directions before they swirled around and eventually formed a gigantic version of the meat monster the Lunch Lady Ghost was the previous day.

"It's lunchtime!", the monstrous Lunch Lady shouted wickedly before both groups of protesters ran away while screaming in terror.

"Meat! Why have you betrayed me?!", Tucker exclaimed dramatically.

"And that's the one reason why meat isn't very good for you.", Dani spoke.

"Guys, time to makeup. Now!", Danny urged as he looked around.

Then, Sam and Tucker hugged as Danny and Dani transformed beneath their cover before they break their hug to reveal Danny & Dani Phantom, who flew off to confront the ghost as meanwhile, Dan was guarding the area as Jazz was talking with a goth, who is wearing all black, has a mohawk, and is covered in piercings and tattoos, sitting at a picnic table away from all of the chaos.

"Spike, you have to open up to your parents! Be true to yourself and them. Tell them how you feel! I mean, it's not like they're gonna attack you or anything.", Jazz spoke before Dan noticed something going wrong.

"Jazz, look out!", Dan urged before pushing her out of the way with a green net suddenly capturing Dan as Jazz yelled in surprise from being pushed out of the way before Spike watched as Dan was dragged away.

"Yeah, I'll be right back.", Jazz spoke before storming off to confront Jack and Maddie, the former of which was reeling in the net while standing behind some bushes.

"I've got 'em! Or at least one of them.", Jack spoke before Maddie poked out from the bushes.

"And the Fenton Grappler is working like a charm!", Jack smirked as he looked at Maddie with Jamie giggling from the scene.

"I don't understand. If Dan and Jazz are ghosts, why isn't he phased through the net?", Maddie puzzled as Dan stood under the net.

"Oh, I'll tell you why. Because we...are not...GHOSTS!", Dan exclaimed angrily as he threw the net off.

"And enough is enough! You've ambushed us, suffocated us with smoke, and worse, Dan was pulled away before Spike has his breakthrough! What do you have to say for yourselves?", Jazz added before Jack suddenly held the Fenton Thermos out in front of him.

"Eat hot Fenton Thermos, ghost man and ghost gal!", Jack exclaimed before the thermos simply sparked and did nothing with Dan and Jazz looking down at the thermos before then glaring up at their parents, the former of which scrutinized the thermos.

"Hmm. Darn thing still doesn't work.", Jack spoke as he shook the thermos back and forth.

Meanwhile, the meat-covered Lunch Lady ghost roared ferociously before attempting to punch Danny and Dani, who both flew out of the way. The ghost then tried slapping Dani with the other hand, but she dodged again. She then tried an uppercut which Danny also dodged. Danny and Dani then retaliated with a hard double-kick against the ghost, knocking her over as Sam and Tucker watched with a smile.

"They really are getting better.", Tucker grinned.

Danny and Dani looked down and smiled before turning back to the ghost, which then punched them, causing them to go sailing up in the air as Sam ran forward.

"I sure hope they can take a punch!", Sam spoke in worry.

Meanwhile, a jet airplane was flying overhead with Danny and Dani sent flying upward toward it.

Inside the plane, a businessman and a flight attendant were present.

"There's your water, sir!", the flight attendant spoke before Danny and Dani suddenly phased through and up out of the ceiling as the latter shouted.

"Sorry!", Dani shouted before she and Danny phased back down through the floor again, the latter grabbing the businessman's water cup out of his hand.

"Thanks!", Danny thanked while phasing through.

Danny and Dani then flew back toward the ghost, the former splashing the cup of water on his face before throwing the cup aside.

Meanwhile, Jack, Maddie, and Jamie were looking at Dan and Jazz, who had their arms crossed, irritated before Jack suddenly smiled before looking at the thermos in his hand.

"I, Jack Fenton, from this day forth, do hereby turn my back on ghosts.", Jack spoke as Danny and Dani flew toward the ghost at the school before they slammed into the ghost, sending meat flying everywhere as the meat explosion let off orange smoke in the distance behind Jazz, Jack, Maddie, and Jamie.

Meanwhile, Danny and Dani weakly pulled themselves out of a crater the explosion created.

"Oh, dear. What a mess. Are you two okay?", the Lunch Lady asked as she stood before the twins, the former of which finally pulled himself out of the crater and helped Dani up.

"Yeah. I think so.", Danny responded.

The ghost had a small smile on her face, but suddenly reverted back to evil lunch lady mode.

"TOUGH! BECAUSE YOU TWO BEING OKAY IS NOT PART OF MY BALANCED DIET OF DOOM!", the Lunch Lady shouted viciously before meat suddenly poured out of the crater forming five small piles in front of Danny and Dani, which turned into little meat monsters before the two ghosts flew off with the meat monsters jumping after them.

Then, both ghosts each did a flying kick on opposite sides that sliced through all of the monsters before landing back on the ground. Then, Danny looked up only to see the meat monsters form themselves again.

"Wasn't expecting that.", Danny spoke before Dani suddenly turned human again this time.

"Or that.", Dani gulped nervously.

Then, the meat monsters grabbed Dani, who tried fighting them off, but they keep their grip and flew up with him before two of the monsters let go of him while three dangled him upside down by her legs.

"Hang on, Dani! I'm coming!", Danny assured as he flew off after them.

Meanwhile, Jack was looking down at the Fenton Thermos.

"And this Thermos can't trap ghosts because ghosts don't exist.", Jack sighed before tossing the thermos away.

Then, thermos suddenly whacked the still-dangling Dani in the face before she caught it.

"The Fenton Thermos, that's it! But how am I going to get it to work?", Dani puzzled before Danny caught up.

"Hey! Let my sister go!", Danny urged before the three meat monsters dangling Dani said, "Okay" in growls and suddenly let go of her and tossed her toward the ground with Dani yelling as she plummeted.

"Okay. Not the best word choice.", Danny commented before flying off after Dani, who was still struggling to change back into ghost form.

"Come on. Change back! CHANGE BACK!", Dani urged before a light flashed and she turned ghost again with the meat monsters looking surprised and then furious before chasing after her.

Danny then caught up to Dani.

"You okay, Dani?", Danny asked.

"Yeah. Never better.", Dani responded before she and Danny turned intangible as they fell and phased through the ground between Jazz, Dan, Jamie, and their parents.

"Thanks for the thermos!", Dani shouted as she and Danny phased through the ground, making Jamie happy as she giggled.

"HA! Ghost kids! I was right! You were wrong! Ghosts exist! I never doubted for a second!", Jack laughed happily.

Neither Dan nor Jazz looked pleased as Jack laughed before a large amount of meat landed on top of them.

"All those in favor of taking a bath, say 'aye'!", Dan spoke.

"Aye!", Jack, Maddie, and Jazz spoke in unison.

Then, Danny and Dani phased out from the ground with the Fenton Thermos in hand before Dani handed it to Danny.

"Here. If we can aim it at that ghost, we should be able to trap it.", Dani spoke.

"NO! Soup's not on today's menu!", the Lunch Lady shouted.

"Oh, yeah? Well, that's too bad, because we're changing the menu, permanently!", Dani retorted, as she grabbed the top of the thermos before speaking in a small voice.

"Please work.", Dani squeaked a bit before she pulled the top off of the thermos and aimed it toward the Lunch Lady with a Danny holding onto it.

"I hope you're right!", Danny spoke before a blue aura surrounded him and Dani and then the thermos, which powered up before releasing a stream of energy.

That energy formed a net that surrounded the surprised Lunch Lady and trapped her.

"NOOOO!", the Lunch Lady shouted as she struggled before the energy swirled and sucked the Lunch Lady into the thermos before Danny (who turned human again at the same time Dani did) put the lid back on the thermos before they smiled and looked up before noticing Sam and Tucker trapped under one of the protest balloons before Dani helped Sam up as Danny did the same for Tucker.

"What happened? Where's the ghost?", Sam asked.

"My parents have their moments.", Danny grinned.

"Yeah. It turns out that they can make any invention work after all.", Dani added before she and Danny suddenly heard a faint beeping noise and he hid the thermos behind him as the meat-covered Jack, Jamie, and Maddie walk up to the group, the former holding the Fenton Finder in front of him.

"Ghost directly ahead. You would have to be some sort of moron to not notice the ghost directly ahead.", the Fenton finder spoke before the twins, standing right in front of the device, smiled weakly as Jack, Jamie, Maddie looked up from the Fenton Finder toward them.

"Oh, sorry, Dad. You just missed him.", Danny spoke, pointing behind him with his thumb.

"We got a runner!", Jack spoke before he and Maddie ran off, leaving the livid Jazz and Dan behind with the former's arms crossed.

"Great. Back to square one.", Jazz sighed.

Then, Dani noticed the dilemma and rushed over to Jazz and Dan.

"Jazz, Dan, wait!", Dani shouted.

"What?", Jazz puzzled.

"What is it?", Dan asked.

"I couldn't help but notice what was going on earlier and I wanna go on record to say that even though our parents are completely embarrassing, at least they love us. In their own way, anyway. And I'm sure they want to keep us safe.", Dani assured.

Puzzled as they were, they knew that Dani might be right on that as they grinned.

"You know? You're right, Dani.", Dan agreed.

Meanwhile, Tucker spoke to Danny.

"So, you're not gonna tell 'em?", Tucker asked.

"Nah. I think I might've finally figured out what these powers are for. They make me...", Danny began before a hand suddenly grabbed Danny by the shoulder.

His eyes widened as he glanced upward at to see Mr. Lancer, who looked furious.

"In a world of trouble.", Mr. Lancer growled.

"Wait. Before you do something, I have something I'd like to ask of you.", Dani spoke.

"Go on.", Mr. Lancer spoke in response.

Later, outside Casper High at nighttime, Mr. Lancer was holding a megaphone in his hand next to Dani while Danny, Sam, and Tucker were cleaning up the mess from both the protests and ghost fight.

"Manson! Pick up that T-bone!", Mr. Lancer ordered.

"With my hands?", Sam asked, disgusted.

"Foley! Pick up that Turfwich!", Mr. Lancer ordered next.

"With my hands?", Tucker asked, equally disgusted as he held the Turfwich by its corner.

"Oh. So, that's what it was called.", Dani realized.

Mr. Lancer seemed pleased as he glanced over to Dani.

"And that is how you do the job right, Ms. Fenton. Now, all you have to do is keep up your end of the bargain and the cafeteria menu will now include meat to go along with veggies starting tomorrow.", Mr. Lancer assured.

"You got it, Mr. Lancer.", Dani nodded.

"Well, then, I think you can take over from here, Ms. Fenton.", Mr. Lancer spoke before he got out a turkey leg and took a bite out of it before turning around and walking away.

Meanwhile, Danny was sweeping up some meat as Dash was watching him, looking pleased while leaning on the dumpster where the meat is being collected before he laughs, somewhat ticking Danny off as he looked over at Dash and then went to the side of the dumpster before grabbing it, turning it intangible, and causing its contents to phase out and fall on Dash, who got trapped under a huge pile of meat as a result, only causing Dani to roll her eyes and cross her arms with a groan.

"This is going to be a long night.", Dani sighed before Dash poked his head out from the meat pile.

"FENTON! A little help?", Dash asked with Danny looking pleased.

"Whatever you say, Dash. Whatever you say.", Danny grinned before his eyes glowed.

A/N: And there we have it. The very first chapter of my Danny Phantom story. :) And like the last story, I may be making it, but this story is bconfer368's idea. Now, if you'll excise me, I'm gonna catch up on some episodes of "Brandy & Mr. Whiskers" after watching something on HBO Max. It just got recently installed. Hooray! :) Oh, and one more thing, the character design for Dani (a genderbent version of Danny Phantom) is inspired by the artwork for her that belongs to AmethystOcean from Deviantart. Feel free to give this artist some credit where it's due, people. Until next time. :)
