This is a poem that I wrote as a parody of the Twelve Days of Christmas, but I have written it about the characters in the TV series Black Sheep Squadron/Baa Baa Black Sheep. Try singing this one at your next Christmas party.

This is a poem that I wrote as a parody of Clement Clarke Moore's well known poem A Visit From St. Nicholas better known as Twas the Night Before Christmas. This version features the cast from the TV series Baa Baa Black Sheep/Black Sheep Squadron getting a very interesting visit from an unlikely Santa Claus.

A poem about the Black Sheep. I have written it is such a way so that the reader can decide if I am referring to the real Black Sheep squadron or the TV series, which by the way is another of my favorite TV series starring Robert Conrad.

Between the missions and non-stop black market dealing, Larry Casey already had more than he'd bargained for when he signed on with the Black Sheep. He didn't need an outspoken – and attractive – Navy nurse complicating things. Chasing skirts was fine for the other guys but his high school sweetheart would be waiting for him at the altar when he got home.

Captain Jim Gutterman didn't have much need for women beyond a good time in dark, no strings attached. When U.S. Army Sergeant Sarah Cameron showed up on Vella La Cava, he didn't see why that should change. She saw things differently.

Greg is not acting like himself and the Black Sheep are worried, as it turns out he is just missing someone very special that is no longer a part of his life and the fact that Valentine's Day is approaching doesn't help matters any. However, at a USO dance on Espritos Marcos things begin to look up, romantically, for Greg.

Major Greg Boyington and the Black Sheep have their hands full when Casey and TJ find an abandoned Asian American baby, Greg is fed up trying to get airplane parts, a test of wills nearly causes one the pilots to lose their life, plus some very strange events in the sky. It's enough to drive the average person to drink, but then the Black Sheep are already good at that.

Hutch's sister gets assigned to ferry planes around the South Pacific as a WASP. The Black Sheep aren't quite sure what to do with a female pilot, and she would rather have nothing to do with the cocky male pilots. In a time of war, though, can the pilots learn to live with her, or will they alienate her, and their mechanic too? (Archived, Updated Version in the works)

Colonel Lard is doing his best to deprive the Black Sheep of even the most needed parts to repair their aircraft, so chief mechanic Andy Miklin agrees to head over to Espritos Marcos with a box of the Black Sheep's best booze to wheel and deal with the supply sergeant. When Miklin returns with the parts, however, weird things start happening on Vella La Cava.

Jim Gutterman stood in the operations' shack on Vella La Cava and stared at the small black speck on an aerial photograph of nearby Kolombangara island. A speck that he knows were the remains of Doug Rafferty's Corsair and, by extension, of Doug Rafferty himself. It just didn't seem right that the boy would never get a proper funeral.

It's January 3, 1944, and the Black Sheep's luck has run out on a raid over Rabaul. How will Jim Gutterman, the squadron's second in command, cope with the loss of Pappy?

Daily bombing raids spell trouble for the Black Sheep. Add in McHale and the crew of PT 73 and a young Marine named Mike Stone and the adventure begins!

T.J.'s homesick. Jim and Greg might know of a cure for that.

Pappy's thoughts on starting a squadron.

Anyone who knows a pilot - especially a Marine pilot - knows they invented the word 'arrogant.' But, sometimes, you have to look past all the bull. OC, although I doubt very many know who the REAL characters are. Rated T, mainly for language

The Black Sheep are sent on a dangerous mission away from their usual base. The story was originally written as a gift for Yuletide2009.

It's hard to get into the Christmas spirit in a war zone, but Bob Anderson and the rest of the Black Sheep will do it if anyone can.
