Hello everyone, here's the next series I'll be working on. It'll be slight AU with character bashing throughout the series. This first part might be rated T or M, I'm not sure yet. This first chapter might seem a bit off at first and if it does, I apologize. Enjoy.
In a stone temple, in the middle of a floating island, sat a demon with his arms crossed and his eyes closed. The demon's red eyes shot opened before he stood up and ran towards a table where a large book rested on top. Grabbing a quill pen, he opened the book and quickly began writing in it, "What are you doing, Jace?" a demon walked up behind him and looked over his shoulder as her eyes widened, "Are you sure about this one? Could you be mistaken or something?"
"I'm certain about this one Amirah," Jace sighed, closing the book and standing up, "And it was a powerful one too, the only thing I couldn't understand is how it starts. I've got all the other details clear as day except for that one,"
Amirah sighed and looked down at the book and narrowed her eyes, "What are we going to do about this? It can't go unfulfilled, but if many other demons learn about this, they'll do everything in their power to prevent it from happening,"
"And they'll have a hell of a ride to get it, we'll keep this one a secret just between us. Take it to our graves if we must, but no one is to know about this until the time is right,"
"And what if the Three Greats or even King Derkila starts asking questions? I know that the likelihood of that happening is extremely rare, but even still,"
"To our graves, Amirah, to our graves," Jace took a deep breath before opening the drawer and pulled out another book before swapping it out with the one on the table, "This is a carbon copy of the book, it contains everything except that last one I had just entered." Amirah signed and nodded, "I know we're risking everything here, but maybe it's for the best, it may very well bring total peace to the Netherworld and we will no longer have to worry about demons returning to basic,"
"I know, darling, and even if we don't see that day, it's best to give everyone hope for a better future," Jace hummed and nodded as Amirah walked over to him, hugging him from behind and resting her head on the back of his shoulder, "Many demons won't accept this, you know. Many will try and stop it once they learn of what's happening,"
"And it's not up to anyone but those involved, unless they want something so horrifying to be unleashed upon the Netherworld, they won't interfere in this matter," Jace ran his fingers through his hair, "And maybe it'll put an end all this fighting that has been going on for half a century,"
"One can only hope love, but you've been in this room all day, come to bed," Jace nodded as the two of them walked out of the room, closing the door behind them.
I know this first chapter is on the short side and I'm sorry for that, but the chapters will be longer beyond this point. Enjoy.
