"Aaahh!!!!"
Chloe had never felt this afraid in her entire life before. Not like those times where those humans did many horrible things to her, and because this was a Dark Fantasy world created by a Japanese Studio, you probably know what happened.
Especially in front of an Elemental of an incredibly high rank. One such Elemental too strong and was supposedly thousands of years old, claiming to be strong enough to topple entire countries with her wind!
Thanks to that, she had been pinned down to the ground, battered and beaten! And she was still so, so weak that the only thought of her adoptive father, Jonathan and her adoptive aunt Olga being sad about her death and the future that would happen after that were some of the things that allowed her to keep fighting.
But now...
Faced against a terrifying being, what should a child like her do?
Of course, cry.
And cry she did.
"Waaahhh!! Help!!!"
Her cries were loud, yet it did not hinder her opponent, only making the elemental chuckle and laugh as she approached Chloe.
"Ohohohoho~! Would you look at that, a mere child summons a forgotten spirit sealed away by the goddess Serafina, only to proceed to lose to someone like me! Hmph, I'll just silence you now!" The Elemental gloated, her bright green hair fluttering around her wind as she raised her hands.
Several tendrils of light appeared from the tips of her fingers and began to immediately latch onto the body of the crying child.
"P-Papa! Please, anyone!" Chloe cried out, as she began to lose control over her body. Despite her trying to move, it never worked.
'M-Move, run away! Get away from me! Escape!!!' Chloe screamed in her mind, crying out even more.
When she glanced over at where it was, light had began to spread around her body, and she definitely knew this was very horrible.
But, at the very last moment, someone had arrived.
"Psionic Beam!" That someone yelled out, sending two beams of gleaming darkness that hit the elemental that tried to take over Chloe, sending her flying for at least a few tens of feet.
'Th-That voice... Papa! Papa's here? H-How...?' Chloe asked herself, glancing over the direction where the beam came from.
The light that was taking over her body began to slowly vanish, but it seemed like it would take a long while before she could regain the ability to move.
And to her happiness and relief, Jonathan really appeared, and he looked particularly angry.
"Hmph! Chloe, stay right there. I'll handle this... pathetic scum of a fairy. And don't ask how I got here, your elementals led me to this place." Jonathan spoke in a regal tone, and as stoic as he was, there was a deep malice forming around him.
"Tsk! And who are you?" The Elemental asked, regaining her posture as she floated on midair. The next moment, she immediately felt very uncomfortable "And, this feeling... you've been blessed by Celestine... filthy mortal..."
"It's you whose filth here. Though it would have been better if you tested my daughter instead of... this."
The Demon King snorted, glaring at the elemental.
"How about I brainwash you effectively into serving my daughter and both me and Olga without resistance? I wonder..."
As if provoked, the Elemental moved towards Jonathan, confident she could still win because of her powers. His threat was nothing more than intimidation, what else could he do?
His Psionic Beam hurt and pushed her away, but if she was at her unsealed state, then that attack just wouldn't work.
So, she decided to take him seriously.
With a swipe of her arm, a powerful gust of wind manifested and began to fly towards him, intending to push him away, however the Demon King manifested stationary wings and pushed through the gust, his speed being accelerated further.
His body, now covered in Psychic Energy, tackled the Elemental before crashing to the ground with her, then escaped before several blades of wind cut him.
Several fist sized gusts of wind appeared to strike him, before he retaliated by shooting weaker Psionic Beams towards the elemental through his finger guns.
Nicely enough, all of them hit their targets, even the Elemental who was even trying to dodge the beams, which were too fast for her to evade.
Having not a single choice, she manifested a shield and a spear, blocking the beams Jonathan fired then immediately closing in to his position, her movement becoming better than she normally should.
"Die, mortal!" She yelled out, slamming her shield towards Jonathan, yet the only thing she slammed on was a barrier that cracked upon impact.
A fist slammed into her stomach before said fist discharged a powerful burst of energy that the elemental felt was similar to mana, slamming onto her stomach again.
Due to her defenses being lowered, a hand covered with Psychic Energy grabbed onto her face before she felt herself fall to the ground like an arrow, just before the man she was fighting proceeded to slam her face to the ground and make her eat mud and grass while creating a ten meter long trench with her face.
Once he was done, he lifted the skirt of the Elemental and hopped away from her.
"Is that all?" He asked, tapping his feet. "You're weaker than a Princess Knight, and you even dare underestimate me? Huh, it does seem like Future Vision is a really great boon, so now... Let's get this all over with."
Slow footsteps approached the elemental, and after checking for a moment, there was no reaction.
"Hey! I did not allow you to just go to sleep that easily!"
Even slapping her buttcheeks twice didn't work.
Annoyed, Jonathan pulled the Elemental out of the trench by grabbing the back of her head, and looked at her face.
"She really had a mouthful of dirt, I'll just clean this up in a moment, then I'll decide what to really do..."
He scanned the body of the elemental, and soon found out that the body of the girl was purely made of mana like the other elementals.
Which, actually made him rememver of the Phantoms of his world: Spirits made solely of Psychic Energy, having remnants of thoughts coming from the deceased souls.
He theorized that if elementals like her are made of magic, then he could potentially assimilate them to increase his power.
After a while, Jonathan carried the body of the elemental girl to Chloe, who was still laying down on the ground, unmoving yet relieved to see him victorious.
The Demon King harshly tossed the Elemental to the ground besides Chloe, almost doubting himself about what his decision would become.
Since, there is a chance that the Elemental might actually take over Chloe's ego, Jonathan had taken a few preparations beforehand.
Aside from that, he knelt beside Chloe, his expression becoming sourly stoic as he gazed at her face.
Chloe flinched under that gaze.
"If I wasn't here soon enough, then you would've died. Next time, the moment you decide to summon and make contracts with higher ranked elemental spirits, just please tell me beforehand. Okay?" He spoke, and Chloe nodded slowly when he wiped off her tears.
"Right then, let's begin our assimilation ceremony."
Raising his hands, he made the elemental beside Chloe float up to the midair, and armed with extensive knowledge and ability, the Elemental began to dissolve into particles of light starting with her legs and arms, which then merged into Chloe.
The moment the Elemental awoke, it was too late.
Her entire essence had been assimilated to Chloe's, and the excess, which would prove harmful to the young teenager, was assimilated to the inner World of Chloe, adding a small bit of environment on the sky, by allowing floating islands to exist and a light breeze to be felt around the area from time to time.
Noticing that he accomplished his task, he decided to sit beside Chloe, who might have grown a bit after the assimilation, looking like a young teenager in her early 16s than being an 12 year old child.
"If you're trying to say sorry, don't. There is nothing wrong you've done that needed to be forgiven. Just stay calm and silent."
For a few minutes, they didn't say anything.
Nothing of importance had passed, other than they were about to be sent back to the real world by Chloe's elementals.
Once they were on the real world, Chloe woke up, feeling heavily exhausted. Not just that, she felt that her clothing had become tighter.
This will be a hassle for someone like her now...
