A/N: Finally, we have a new chapter of "The Phantom Twins". As for why 13 aired earlier before this episode, well, a friend of mine, in his words, "felt that the episode should've been an earlier season rather than the one it was in". No matter how you slice it, though, we wanted to see Jazz become a halfa and that episode seemed like the one to go with doing that. Also, it is important to note that Dan and Dan Phantom are 2 different people. The former, as most of us would know by now, is voiced by Troy Baker. In any case, in this episode and onward from this point, Matthew St. Patrick will voice Skulker. Just wanna get this out there. :)

The Phantom Twins: The Adventures of Danny & Dani Phantom

Chapter 4: "Two of a Kind"

Act I

It opened on a ship just near a row of warehouses and other buildings along a dock. Inside one of the buildings, a small mouse peeped out and started chewing on a small cookie just as another scampered off toward the back of a crate just as a ghost phased through a wall and crashed into a pile of boxes. Both Danny & Dani also phased through to just in front of the wall before all three turned visible.

"Beware! I am the Box Ghost! I have power over all containers cardboard and square.", the Box Ghost shouted, gesturing to nearby boxes.

"Okay, can we get this over with? We've got a test to study for.", Danny said.

"Study? There will be no time to study- (His hands begin to glow green and he raises boxes into the air) -when you find yourself crushed beneath the forgotten possessions of...", the Box Ghost began as his hands started glowing green and he raised several boxes into the air.

He then read off a shipping label, which stated...

"Elliot Kravitz of Arlington Heights, Illinois!"

He then turned to Danny and Dani, his eyes and the floating boxes glowing green, and sent 15 boxes and each of their contents flying at them. While Danny turned intangible and the contents go right through him, Dani hurriedly caught each box and set them down in the proper piles to minimize collateral damage.

"Come on. I could fight better than that.", Dani remarked.

"How could I possibly fight better than that? He's just tossing some boxes everywhere. And wasting time, for that matter.", Danny retorted before realizing what he just said.

"Okay, point taken.", Danny realized.

So, Dani flew toward the Box Ghost. More than that, she landed a kick to the gut and a punch in the cheek. But in striking the Box Ghost and sending him toward a wall, Dani inadvertently made a big mess and freaked out upon noticing this.

"AHHHHH! WHAT HAVE I DONE?! MUST CLEAN UP, MUST CLEAN UP, MUST CLEAN UP!", Dani exclaimed.

Hurriedly, she spun around the mess caused, scrambling to clean it up and inadvertently creating a tornado in the process. When said tornado vanished, the area was spick and span as it was before.

"Ahh... That's better.", Dani sighed.

"If only we can settle things up with that ghost just as fast. Hey Tucker, let's go!", Danny sighed.

Just then, Tucker and Sam kicked down the door and jumped into the room with Tucker carrying a Fenton Thermos and Sam holding a biology textbook.

"Good night, everybody!", Tucker smirked, opening the thermos and activating it.

Danny grabbed the Box Ghost and threw him into the beam of the thermos. The ghost screamed and wound up sucked in before Tucker capped it.

"Perimeter secure.", Tucker said.

"Perimeter secure? What are you, a Navy Seal?", Sam responded.

Danny and Dani then landed next to Tucker.

"Seals: aquatic mammals that bark. They're canines, right?", Danny asked.

Then, Sam checked her textbook.

"Wrong. That's zero for twenty-one.", Sam responded, closing the book.

"I'm no teacher, but I'm guessing that's an 'F.'", Tucker said, spinning the thermos on his finger.

"Let me try.", Dani said before clearing her throat.

"Navy SEALS, Sea, Air and Land, is the U.S Navy's primary Special Forces Unit and a component of the Navel Special Warfare Command, right?", Dani asked before Sam checked her textbook again.

"And that's 21 to 21.", Sam said in surprise.

"Come on, you guys. If you're gonna be superhero sidekicks, you're gonna have to be a little more focused. You're supposed to be helping me study for the test tomorrow. And you're supposed to be helping us catch these ghosts so I HAVE time to study!", Danny said, flying up in-between Tucker and Sam before then turning to Dani.

"And you! Would it kill you to be less of a know-it-all?", Danny asked.

"Excuse me?! Just because I love learning, it doesn't mean I'm a know-it-all!", Dani said in both shock and anger.

"Well, actually, Danny's got a good point there. In fact, that's your nickname. Know-it-all Dani.", Tucker responded.

"Oh, so now, you're taking HIS side?!", Dani glared angrily as she grabbed Tucker by the shirt and lifted him up, her eyes glowing green even.

"AH! Just chill out, girl! I was just sayin'!', Tucker responded.

"Well, maybe next time, you should watch what you say.", Dani warned before dropping him.

"It's just a nickname. Besides, the ghosts're all right here.", Tucker assured, spinning the thermos on his finger, still.

Unfortunately, the thermos fell off of Tucker's finger and onto the ground. The word "RELEASE" appeared on its side screen and the cap burst off, releasing multiple ghosts in business suits, who phased out of the building. The Box Ghost was also released and flew into the air.

"Ha ha! I am the Box Ghost! You cannot hold me within the confines of a cylindrical container.", the Box Ghost teased, mimicking the shape of the thermos with his hands, before he phased out through the wall.

Tucker That's weird. According to my schedule, we should be done catching ghosts by now.", Tucker said as he checked his PDA, which read "FINISH CATCHING GHOSTS 9:00 PM".

"Tucker!", Dani glared as Dan peeped from the warehouse and spoke via wristwatch communicator.

"Well, Jazz, looks like their plan bombed. Again.", Dan sighed.

"Honestly, those two are so out-of-sync.", Jazz commented.

"I know, right?", Dan asked.

"No worries. I'll take care of them.", assured Jazz.

Before the invisible ghost could pursue, though, she noticed a buff ghost with literally flaming green hair and stopped for a moment, cautious as he was apparently targeting both Danny and Dani.

"Half humans, half ghosts. Two of a kind. They'll make a fine addition to my collection.", the ghost grinned as he lowered his binoculars.

It was right then that Box Ghost flew up behind Skulker's cage of ghosts and chuckled with his arms raised.

"Touch the box and your pelt will adorn my fireplace.", Skulker warned without turning.

Cautiously frightened, he paused for a moment.

"Beware!", the Box Ghost shouted before flying away.

"I'd better warn Danny and Dani about him and fast. But how can I do that without them suspecting...? ", Jazz pondered to herself in worry as Skulker looked back at Dani and Danny through his binoculars.

Act II

The next morning, in the Fenton Works' kitchen, Jazz and Dan, the latter of which watched for a moment as Danny struggled to spend time with Jamie while also trying to study, spoke to each other, out of earshot from their parents.

"So, you found a new ghost that's like a bounty hunter?", Dan asked.

"Yeah. And he seemed very interested in Danny and Dani on account of the fact they're half ghost. He even said they're two of a kind. Might as well be three-of-a-kind if he found out about me.", Jazz responded.

"Right now, it's a good thing he doesn't know about you. But what isn't good is the fact that he's targeting our brother and sister. We'll need to think of a way to get him off their backs.", Dan responded as Dani pitched in to help Danny study with Dani playing with Jamie just before Jack and Maddie entered.

"Hey, kids. Check out the latest in ghost-hunting technology: the Ghost Gabber.", Jack announced.

"Ghost Gabber?", Jazz and Dan asked in unison.

"I made it myself.", Maddie replied.

"Huh. So, what does it do?", Jazz asked.

"It takes the mysterious sounds a ghost makes and translates them into words you and I use every day. Here, try it.", Jack said, holding the invention in front of Danny.

"Uh...", Danny began.

But before he could finish out of puzzlement, Jamie babbled into it. Then, the Ghost Gabber spoke in a woman's voice.

"I wove my famiwy.", the Ghost Gabber said.

"Aw.", Maddie and Jack grinned.

"Well, that's awfully nice.", Maddie said.

"Yes, but I think it could stand to get a few bugs fixed.", Jack said.

"Well, uh, we'd better get to school.", Danny said.

"Uh, yeah. Don't wanna keep our teachers waiting.", Dani said before she and Danny left.

"Well, uh, we'd better get going, too.", Dan said.

"Don't wanna be late for class.", Jazz added.

Then, Jamie babbled to them again with the gabber translating once again.

"Bye, big bwothers and sisters.", the translator said before Jack questioningly looked at the Ghost Gabber.

Later, at Casper High, Danny and Tucker were sitting at a table looking at Danny's graded test with Sam, Max, and Dani at nearby computers.

"I got a 'D?!'", Danny shouted.

"Shhh! We're in the library...", Dani shushed.

"Sorry, Dani. All this ghost hunting is taking away from my study time.", Danny apologized.

"So much for the Fentons being a family of geniuses.", Tucker commented.

"Uh, ahem!", Dani glared with one eyebrow raised.

"Oh! My bad. Seems only the Fenton women have all the smarts.", Tucker corrected to himself.

"Thank you.", Dani thanked.

"I can't get a 'D' in biology. My parents will kill me.", Danny groaned.

"Not if I can help it. You just need to pull your grade up by doing an extra credit biology assignment.", Dani suggested.

"For example, there is the matter of an assignment you could do on this magnificent creature.", Max added as he pulled up a web page about a gorilla that said "Extremely Rare: Sampson.".

"A purple-back gorilla?", Danny asked.

"Yep. Extremely rare. Only two left, both male.", Sam replied.

"I thought they're both 'FEmale'.", Dani said.

"No, I'm pretty sure they're male.", Sam said.

"I don't know. But I do know this. After that, they're gone forever.", Dani responded.

"Which is why you are going to prove he deserves to be set free.", Sam added.

"You mean 'she' deserves to be set free.", Dani corrected, making Sam growl a bit.

"I don't have time for extra credit...or your agendas.", Danny responded.

"Actually, you do. You just have to learn how to manage it better. I decided to become your time manager. It's the least I can do after Sam made me let all those ghosts out.", Tucker assured, holding his PDA.

"Sam didn't make you do anything. YOU just let them all out on your own.", Dani scolded.

"I don't know.", Danny sighed.

"It'll be my job to keep track of your schedule so you can do your schoolwork and catch all those ghosts that Sam let loose.", Tucker responded before Sam glared at him.

"Again, YOU'RE the one who let all of them loose!", Dani shouted incredulously right before getting shushed by the other students, making her blanch.

"Sorry.", Dani apologized.

"Remember what happened when I let you manage the thermos?", Danny asked.

"Yeah. And I still say YOU'RE the one who messed up big time.", Dani added with a whisper.

"But I've already scheduled 'Remember: not to let Tucker handle the thermos.'", Tucker assured, showing the screen with a blinking reminder.

"Huh. I guess that works.", Dani said.

"I suppose we could have a trial period.", Danny responded.

"That's an excellent idea.", Max agreed.

"See? I've also scheduled some zoo time so we can check out that gorilla. Let's go.", Tucker grinned before the group of five left the library.

But as soon as they left, Dan and Jazz peeped out from the other shelf.

"Well, looks like he's having a tough time out there.", Dan said.

"Yeah, that's per the norm.", Jazz agreed.

But just then, Skulker then phased through the wall and floated over to look at the web page about the gorilla on the computer.

"But a ghost looking at the computer, however, is not.", Jazz added.

"Hmm, so this is your prey, eh, Ghost Kids?", Skulker asked to himself.

Just then, Mikey walked up to Skulker.

"Uh, excuse me, sir? Are you finished with the computer?", Mikey asked, earning Skulker's scowl.

In response, Skulker only shot a series of ecto-blasts at Mikey, trapping him in webbing upside-down on the wall with his eyes blindfolded by ectoplasm and making him wail.

"You thought you could sneak up on me, Skulker?", Skulker asked with a smirk.

Mikey wailed again.

"Ghost world's greatest predator?", Skulker asked.

"Skulker?", Jazz and Dan puzzled, having seen what he's capable of from the other shelf as Mikey wailed once again.

"Quiet, you're in a library.", Skulker said before he shot ectoplasm to cover Mikey's mouth, who continued to scream, although now muffled.

Afterwards, Skulker phased out through the wall.

"Oh, yeah. He's definitely going to be tough for Danny and Dani to beat, let alone escape.", Dan said to himself.

"But the question is, how can we stop him?", Jazz pondered just before Dash and his friend, Dale, walked in through the door and stopped to look at the trapped Mikey.

"Whoa, you do that?", Dash asked, amazed.

"No, but I can always stop and appreciate high-quality bullying.", Dale responded.

Then, the ectoplasm and webbing suddenly disappeared and Mikey screamed and fell to the floor.

Later, at the Amity Park Zoo and into the domed gorilla habitat, Sampson, the purple-back gorilla, was being watched by Sam, Danny, Dani, Max, and Tucker from an observation tower.

"There he is: Sampson. So gifted, so...majestic.", Sam spoke, looking through the binoculars as Sampson scratched himself.

Inside the tower, Sam, Max, and Dani were watching him while Danny and Tucker leaned against a desk, bored.

"Sam, we've been watching the gorilla scratch his butt for, um, how long?", Danny asked.

"Six hours.", Tucker replied with a yawn.

"Time flies when you're majestically scratching your butt.", Danny yawned in response.

"Uh, wouldn't it be 'her' butt, though?", Dani asked.

"Now, now, Danny. I know it doesn't seem like much, but it's only a matter of time before you find out something about Sampson nobody's ever learned.", Max assured.

"Max is right, Danny. You should go and try to communicate with him.", Sam agreed as she turned.

"Her.", Dani corrected, peeving Sam as she growled again.

Her frown got worse upon seeing Danny asleep on the floor.

"Ugh, great. Tucker, you're his manager, can you-", Sam began only to notice that Tucker was curled up asleep next to Danny.

Tucker yawned and flipped over to cuddle with Danny.

"Oh, come on... Not you, too.", Dani groaned in frustration.

"I'll do it. But first...", Sam sighed before she pulled out a camera and took a picture of the boys before laughing.

"Boys hugging makes every yearbook funny.", Sam smirked.

"Tell me something, Dani. I don't mean to be judgmental, but why is it that you feel the need to compulsively correct someone?", Max asked.

"I guess I'm a bit of a perfectionist. For one thing, I had to clean up my own mess after I decked the Box Ghost. And on another, Tucker was the one who let out all the ghosts, yet he pinned the blame on Sam! Not only that, but no one has taken into account the fact that the only remaining purple-back gorillas are females. Doesn't that kind of thing just bother you?", Dani asked.

"At times like these, yes. But I often find that at times like these, the best thing to do is to find a silver lining in situations that seem uncontrollable and inescapable at first glance.", Max advised.

"What are you trying to say?", Dani asked.

"I'm saying that you must keep a cool head and learn how to roll with things. The sooner you do that, the sooner you may find a solution.", Max advised.

"But what solution is there?", Dani asked.

"You'll know it when you see it.", assured Max, making Dani grin.

However, in another habitat where a tiger was sleeping. Skulker phased into the habitat and looked through his binoculars to see Danny and Dani in the observation tower. The tiger woke up and growled at Skulker.

"Oh, please.", Skulker spoke, not very amused.

Nearby, though, unbeknownst to the ghost hunter, Sampson, who heard growling and fighting noises nearby, started to run toward them and then saw Sam outside his habitat. He began making distressed grunting noises to alert them.

"What is it, you wondrous being?", Sam asked.

"What's wrong?", Dani asked.

Sampson came over and continued to grunt at them, pointing towards the tiger habitat with Sam, Dani, and Max all looking at where he pointed.

"You wanna head to the Tiger exhibit?", Dani asked.

Sampson hooted in a panicked nod in reply.

"But why?", Dani puzzled.

"Now that you mention it, there is something odd going on there.", Max realized, starting to hear the commotion in the exhibit.

"Yeah. I guess something must've spooked her.", Dani guessed as her own ghost sense went off.

"Or someone.", Dani corrected to herself just as Sampson went to his habitat cage's door and hung off of it, still grunting in distress.

"You want out?", Sam asked.

"What?", Max puzzled.

"Sam, are you crazy?! There's no way we're doing that! At least not that way! Besides, we could find out what's going on ourselves!", Dani exclaimed.

Ignoring her, Sam then went to the habitat's control panel and hit the "Open" button. The door then opened and Sampson ran out. At that moment, the tiger was now hanging in Skulker's net. Skulker phased out of the tiger habitat and looked through his binoculars. Beneath the binoculars' target screen, there was a warning that read, "GORILLA ATTACKING!" in green blinking letters.

"What? Gorilla attacking?", Skulker puzzled.

Then, Sampson suddenly jumped on him and knocked him down. Then, he then started hitting him, much to Dani and Max's amazement. Skulker blocked one of the hits and then kicked Sampson off of him. Sampson once again attacked Skulker and this time, spun him in the air with his feet before kicking him off and biting his wrist armor. In retaliation, Skulker shot ectoplasm onto Sampson's eyes from a small wrist blaster, causing Sampson to back off and hold his face.

"Sampson!", Dani and Max shouted before Skulker went and shot a net at him.

Unfortunately, for him, Sampson grabbed it mid-air and twirled Skulker around by it. The net eventually snapped off of Skulker's wrist, and he crashed into the observation tower.

"Ooh! Now, that's a home run!", Dani spoke in amazement.

"But what about Danny?", Max asked after realizing something before Dani gasped.

"You're right! We have to do something!", Dani realized.

Inside the tower, Danny and Tucker are still sleeping, but Danny's ghost sense went off and he shivered. Skulker recovered just as Sam, Max, and Dani both appeared in the doorway.

"Oh my gosh! Ahhh-", Sam began before Skulker covered both her mouth and Max's with ectoplasm.

"Hey! You can't do that to them like that!", Dani exclaimed.

"Now, for the ghost children.", Skulker smirked as Dani growled angrily.

But all of a sudden, Sampson flew in through the window and knocked Skulker into the desk, once again surprising Dani and Max. Skulker threw him off of himself and then phased out through the wall as Sampson started to charge at him. He already escaped before Sampson then started pounding at the wall, which woke up Danny and Tucker, who screamed and, realizing they're still holding each other, let go and screamed again. They then saw Sampson and screamed once again.

"Gorilla! Loose!", Tucker shouted.

"I got him! Going gh...", Danny began before Dani shouted.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Guys, it's okay! Delilah saved us from a ghost.", Dani assured.

"Wait, Delilah?", Danny asked.

"She feels very strongly about the Sampson being a female.", Sam explained.

Then, Dani turned to Sampson (or Delilah) and brushed the fur.

"Hey, hey, hey. It's okay. Shhh. It's okay. The bad ghost is gone.", Dani assured, brushing her hand smoothly.

"You fought rather magnificently.", Max added.

Then, the gorilla started to calm down.

"There we go. So, now that that's over with, let's get you back inside.", Dani spoke, leading the gorilla out the tower.

Soon, the creature went back into the gorilla habitat.

"There we go.", Dani grinned as Sam, Danny, Max, and Tucker walked behind her.

"I wonder who let the gorilla go...Sam?", Danny glared.

"Yeah. Wait 'til we tell everybody at school you let out a four-hundred-pound gorilla.", Tucker smirked.

"Cut her some slack, guys. That four-hundred-pound gorilla just stomped on that ghost and saved us before he could get us.", Dani retorted.

"Ghost? What ghost?", Danny asked.

"He was just here earlier, looking for us like we're his prey. Didn't you notice?", Dani explained before realizing something.

"Then again, you were asleep and he escaped just before you and Tucker woke up.", Dani realized.

"But I thought you were the one that said we shouldn't...", Sam began.

"That was before that beautiful creature charged in and attacked that ghost. She must've known he was here. But why? And for that matter, how?", Dani interrupted.

"Perhaps this has something to do with it.", Max guessed, gesturing to the trapped tiger, which got released as soon as the net disappeared.

"Well, that explains it. And at least that tiger's okay now. The point is, normally, I don't condone blackmail, but you don't want this going around in the yearbook, do you?", Dani asked as Sam held up the picture of Danny and Tucker hugging while sleeping.

"On second thought, we just keep it our little secret.", Danny responded.

"Yeah, we really have no proof she did it, you know.", Tucker agreed.

"No.", Danny agreed as Sam smirked.

"Thanks, Dani.", Sam thanked.

"Anytime, Sam.", Dani responded.

The next morning at the Fenton Works' living room, Maddie, Jack, Dan, and Jazz were sitting on the couch as the latter of the two teens held Jamie, rocking her gently just as Danny, Dani, Max, Tucker, and Sam came in through the front door. Danny looked exhausted.

"Danny, look at you! I'm not sure I like this overnight zoo research.", Maddie said in worry.

"Mom, come on. We're just a bunch of kids. In the zoo. At night. Alone.", Danny responded.

But everyone only stared at him.

"We'll be in my room.", Danny said before he and his sister and friends went upstairs.

At that moment, Jamie babbled and cooed with the baby gabber translating said sounds.

"Can we go to the zoo, Mommy and Daddy?", Jamie asked.

Meanwhile, Danny, Dani, Max, Tucker, and Sam walked up to Danny and Dani's bedroom door.

"Here we go, you two. Home in time for some well-deserved rest.", Tucker said before his PDA beeped and he checked it.

"But keep it quick, because you've got thirteen minutes.", Tucker said.

"Uh, yeah, define 'home in time'.", Dani glared.

But suddenly, both Dani's and Danny's ghost senses suddenly went off. They opened their bedroom door and Skulker appeared in the doorway.

"Hello, Ghost Children.", Skulker greeted.

"You...!", Dani gasped before Skulker trapped her and Danny in a net and pulled him into their room, the door slamming shut behind them.

"Danny!", Sam and Tucker shouted.

"Dani!", Max shouted at the same time.

Act III

Both Danny and Dani were trapped in the net in their room as Skulker stood over them.

"The human ghost children in their natural habitat.", Skulker said.

"Who are you?", Dani demanded.

"I am Skulker. (Holds up his cage of ghosts.) A collector of things rare and unique. And you, Ghost Children, are that and more.", Skulker laughed, holding up his cage of ghosts, before stomping on a model rocket.

"Hey, my rocket! I built that!", Danny exclaimed.

"Pity, though. I'd hoped you two would put up more of a fight.", Skulker admitted.

"Oh, don't worry about that.", Dani glared before she and Danny went ghost and phased out of the net.

"We will!", Danny added.

With that, Danny punched Skulker into the wall only for Dani to go behind Skulker and kick him toward the ground. Upon recovering, Skulker growled with a smirk. Meanwhile, Max, Sam, and Tucker struggled to open the door.

"That's the ghost from the zoo!", Max shouted.

"Danny?", Tucker puzzled.

"No, the other guy.", Sam corrected.

Then, a loud crash was heard inside Danny and Dani's room before a voice came from downstairs.

"Hello? What's going on up there?", Jazz asked, worrying Sam, Tucker, and Max.

It got worse when Dan, Jazz, Jamie, Maddie, and Jack overheard yet another loud crash from upstairs.

"Eh?", Jamie cooed puzzledly.

"Ghost! Ghost! GHOST!", Jack shouted.

At that moment, Sam, Tucker, and Max walked down the stairs.

"Kids, get down! There's a ghost in the house.", Maddie urged.

"Actually, there's two m-", Tucker began before Sam elbowed him.

"-much homework to be done for there to be a ghost here.", Tucker said.

"I'll procure some snacks.", Max offered, walking to the kitchen.

"Yeah, Danny and Dani are upstairs.", Sam added before they heard another loud crash.

"And right now, they're working on a marvelous invention as we speak.", Max added.

"Funny. Danny didn't strike me as the inventive type., Maddie commented.

Just then, another loud crash sounded.

"MY COMPUTER! Oh, that's Jazz's.", Danny realized.

"Aw, dang it! MY computer! I only had the one! Aw, Mom's gonna kill me!", Dani exclaimed.

"That's why they're using his computer.", Sam responded.

Meanwhile, Max was running into the kitchen when Danny and Dani suddenly crashed through the ceiling and into the kitchen table, breaking it into pieces. Skulker then jumped down through the ceiling in front of them just as Dan and Jazz, the latter carrying Jamie, saw what was going on.

"Come, Ghost children. Time to see your new home.", Skulker smirked before grabbing both of them and phasing them through the floor into the lab, the two yelling along the way.

"Danny! Dani!", Jazz and Dan shouted in unison out of worry.

"We've gotta help them!", Dan urged.

"Mom, Dad, I'll get the ghost-hunting equipment in case there IS a ghost messing with Danny and Dani.", Jazz assured before she and Dan took off and stopped near the door to the basement.

"Going ghost!", Jazz spoke urgently before a ring appeared in the middle of her and split in two, changing her outfit and her hair while also giving her an eye-mask in the same color as her hair.

"Well, that's new.", Dan commented.

"Well, I don't wanna reveal myself just yet. And besides the ghost form, this is the closest I can get to concealing my identity.", Jazz explained.

"Oh, yeah. That makes sense.", Dan responde.

Meanwhile, at the lab, Danny and Dani were being held by the throats in the air by Skulker.

"What are you doing?", Dani asked.

"Bringing you two back to my world, where I can put the both of you on display.", Skulker replied, holding up his cage of ghosts.

"What?!", Danny exclaimed as Dani gasped.

The cage then disappeared and Skulker pressed a button on his wrist that turned on the nearby Ghost Portal.

"Ha! At last. Time to put you both in your cages.", Skulker spoke as he started walking toward the portal.

"NOOOO!", Danny and Dani shouted in unison.

Then, Jazz phased through the ceiling and blasted Skulker from above, forcing him to release Danny and Dani just as Sam and Max turned up.

"No is right, Danny. Cages are wrong. How do you think Sampson feels being in a cage?", Sam asked.

"Hey, ghost creep!", Jazz shouted.

Skulker turned and saw Jazz, accompanied by Dan and Sam, who was just rushing downstairs and was the next to arrive.

"Leave my brother AND my sister alone!", Dan added.

"It's Dan!", Danny realized.

"And that ghost girl with him is there, too.", Dani added.

"Another ghost child?! I thought there were only 2. Looks like the number of unique half-ghosts just went up to 3 of a kind.", Skulker smirked in surprise.

But Sam and Max suddenly slid between Skulker and the portal, holding their arms out to block him.

"Hard pass, pal!", Sam glared.

"But-", Skulker began.

"They are beautiful animals and deserve to roam free!", Max exclaimed.

"I...", Skulker stuttered.

"Should be ashamed.", Max interrupted.

"Thanks, guys.", Dani thanked.

"Anytime, Dani.", Sam responded.

Danny and Dani took advantage of Skulker being distracted and punched and kicked him across the room towards Tucker, who yelled and ran out of the way before Skulker landed. As he sat up, Skulker saw Tucker's dropped PDA next to the fallen Tucker and picked it up.

"That technology: so sleek, so...advanced.", Skulker spoke before looking at his old control panel on his wrist and then back at the PDA.

"Hmm, I wonder...", Skulker pondered.

Curious, he yanked the busted, outdated control panel off of his armor and dropped it on the floor. Then, he replaced its slot with the PDA. The PDA began to spark and the dangling wires waved around.

"Hey, I got three more payments on that!", Tucker shouted, standing up behind Skulker.

But he smacked Tucker away with his hand and looked back at his wrist.

"Marvelous.", Skulker spoke, impressed.

The dangling wires connected to the PDA, causing Skulker to glow. Danny, Dani, and Jazz flew at him, but Skulker fired a new ecto-blaster from his wrist back at Danny and Dani, binding the twins together as they hit the wall, their arms and legs bound by ectoplasm.

"Well, that could've gone better.", Dani sighed.

"Way to go, Tucker. You just made the bad guy more bad!", Sam scolded.

"How was I supposed to know my PDA was ghost compatible?", Tucker reacted.

"Okay, look. This is no time to play the blame game here.", Jazz urged.

"Say goodbye to this world, children.", Skulker smirked, pointing his wrists at Danny and Dani.

But suddenly, the PDA beeped and he looked at it.

"What?", Skulker puzzled before reading the PDA.

"'Fly to library? Get a book on eating habits of purple-back gorilla?'", Skulker read.

Then, his jetpack suddenly popped out and turned on, blasting him towards the ceiling.

"No, stop. The hunt is not over!", Skulker shouted before he was shot out of the building, though he managed to phase through the ceiling and invisibly, at that.

He even passed up through the living room as Jack, climbing the stairs with the others, turned around as if he heard Skulker, frowned, and kept walking. Skulker phased completely out of Fenton Works. Back in the lab, the ectoplasmic binds on Danny, Dani, and Jazz disappeared.

"What happened?", Sam asked as she helped Danny up.

"And why was he blasted off to the library?", Dani asked.

"Who cares? At least we got a minute to relax and figure this out.", Danny sighed.

The next day, the outside steps of Casper High, where Tucker, Danny, Dani, Max, and Sam stopped.

"Any sign of him?", Danny asked.

"Nope. He hasn't bothered you for...thirty-eight minutes. Maybe he's hunting somebody else now.", Tuker guessed, checking his PDA.

"How many of those things do you have?", Sam asked.

"Just two. Good thing I beamed all your info in here and backed it up. Global thinking, Danny: the sign of a quality time manager.", Tucker said.

"I just don't get it, though. Why would Skulker be hunting someone else when he's after us specifically?", Dani asked.

"More to the point, Dani, why has he been gone for 38 minutes?", Max pondered.

Just then, the PDA beeped and read "GO TO CLASS!" before Tucker pushed Danny and Dani into the school.

"Come on, you two're late.", Tucker ushered.

Max, Sam, and Tucker followed after Danny and Dani just before Skulker phased up out of the steps.

"Soon, Ghost Children. Soon.", Skulker grinned.

Then, it showed Danny, Dani, Max, Sam, and Tucker leaving Mr. Lancer's classroom. As students left the hallway, Danny opened his locker as Jazz and Dan were nearby. From it, a series of glowing chains suddenly jumped out of it and wrapped around Danny and Dani's torsos and arms.

"Danny!", Sam and Tucker shouted.

"Dani!", Max exclaimed.

"Danny!", Jazz shouted.

"Dani!", Dan added.

Then, Skulker materialized out of a blue mist in front of Danny and Dani.

"I have you now, children.", Skulker menaced, aiming his wrist ecto-blaster at Danny and Dani.

But suddenly, his PDA beeped.

"What? 'Go to the news stand and purchase magazine with article about purple-back gorillas?'", Skulker read in confusion.

Skulker's jetpack activated and he flew up, crashing through the school's ceiling with a surprised yell. Then, the chains on Danny and Dani dissipated.

"Okay, what was that about?", Dani asked.

"Hmm, I have the same thing on mine.", Tucker said, checking his PDA.

"I think we'll blow that one off.", Danny said.

"Wait... You don't think that...?", Jazz asked.

"Actually, I think I might have a theory.", Dan responded.

Then, it went to Danny, Dani, Sam, Max, and Tucker sitting on the football bleachers.

"Guys, eat something.", Sam urged.

"We can't eat now. He could be anywhere.", Danny responded.

"One slip-up and we're sitting ducks.", Dani added before Tucker swallowed his food.

"Hey, this food was scheduled to be eaten.", Tucker responded.

"Speaking of schedules, what are you two doing here?", Dani asked.

"Well, we just wanted to get to know Sam and Tucker better.", Jazz responded.

"Any reason in particular?", Dani asked.

Before Jazz or Dan could answer, Tucker opened the carton of milk. Then, a glowing blue orb popped out of it and wrapped itself around Danny and Dani's heads, making them yell.

"Danny!", Sam and Tucker shouted.

"Dani!", Max added.

"Danny!", Jazz shouted.

"Dani!", Dan added.

Then, Skulker stepped on the bleachers.

"Now, children, once more, I, Skulker, shall-", Skulker began.

But before he could finish, the PDA beeped again. This time, it read...

"'Take photos of gorilla?'", Skulker puzzled as he read.

His jetpack activated and he flew away. Then, like before, the restraints on Danny and Dani disappeared.

"Well, at least he's regular.", Sam said.

"Yeah, almost like a schedule.", Dani realized.

"What's the next thing you have scheduled for us, Tucker?", Danny asked.

"Gym. Why?", Tucker asked, checking his PDA.

Danny and Dani then both adopted a mischievous look.

"Dan, could you follow me? Under the bleachers?", Jazz asked whisperingly, puzzling Dan for a moment before he knew where she was getting at.

"Well, whatever you have in mind, I'm really sure it'll pan out. Have a good day.", Jazz said.

"And stay out of trouble.", Dan added before they got off the bleachers and left.

When they did, they got underneath the bleachers.

"Okay. Obviously, whatever Skulker did with Tucker's PDA must've caused some kind of weakness to his element of surprise. So, now every time Tucker's schedule gives a notification for what he's supposed to do at a certain time, Skulker's forced to show up.", Jazz explained.

"And I'm following you on that, but how do we know that for sure?", Dan asked.

"Well, there's only one way to find out.", Jazz responded with her own smirk.

Later, Dash was admiring his reflection in a mirror in the locker room.

"You are one smooth-lookin' dude.", Dash said before flexing his arms, not knowing that Dan was peeping from the other side of the lockers.

"Geez, Dash. Don't you ever get tired of staring at yourself?", Dan asked to himself.

Just then, Danny was about to open his locker. He hesitated and turned to Dash.

"Hey, Dash? I'm too weak and defenseless to open my locker. Can you open it for me?", Danny asked.

Dash shoved Danny to the side.

"Out of the way, loser.", Dash spoke.

Dash then opened Danny's locker and suddenly, an ectoplasmic goo shot out and trapped Dash in a bubble on the wall, his eyes covered. Skulker landed and inspected him.

"Well, Jazz, looks like you got your proof.", Dan said to himself.

"Hmm, my sensors indicate you're an average human, destined for an average life after high school.", Skulker said before Dash screamed, muffled by the bubble.

Then, he turned and saw Danny and Tucker peeking out from a row of lockers, preparing to throw a ball of ectoplasm at them soon after.

"I shall-", Skulker began before once again, the PDA beeped, reading, "STUDY GORILLA BEHAVIOR PATTERN".

"Study gorilla behavior pattern?'", Skulker asked before his jetpack activated and he flew up through the ceiling.

"Why's he doing that?", Tucker asked.

"When Skulker put your PDA into his technology, he became bound to my schedule. He has to go where I was going to go next. Which means...", Danny began as he checked Tucker's PDA, which read "VISIT GORILLA HABITAT." "It's time for the hunter to become the hunted. Come on, I'm gonna go do something a little ahead of schedule."

Then, he and Tucker ran off.

Meanwhile, Dani was walking across the hallway when she saw Paulina and gave a scowl.

"Paulina...!", Dani glared.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't Little Ms. Know-it-all?", Paulina snarked, making her growl angrily.

Then, Dani kept her cool and gave a smirk.

"Wow, Pauline. Is that a new top? You know I think I've seen it somewhere. Oh, yeah. My mom's dresser from her younger days.", Dani smirked, making Paulina gasp in shock.

"Excuse you?!", Paulina exclaimed.

"Yep. And no offense, but honestly, it's tacky on you.", Dani teased as Jazz peeped from a wall nearby.

"Oh, yeah?", Paulina began before she took Dani's backpack from her.

"Well, your backpack is tacky on you!", Paulina snarked with a smirk.

But when she opened it, Skulker's ectoplasm blast hit her and trapped her into a wall before Skulker phased through the wall and turned tangible.

"Another one? Those ghost children are getting craftier by the minute.", Skulker said to himself.

"You have no idea.", Dani responded.

Then, Skulker turned and prepared to blast her, too.

"This time, I will...!", Skulker began before Tucker's PDA beeped again.

He checked again and noticed that it read, "VISIT GORILLA DISPLAY AT THE MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY".

"'The gorilla display at the museum of natural history?'", Skulker asked before, as he frowned disappointedly, his jetpack activated and he flew up through the ceiling.

"Yep. Guess I was right on the money, there. Guess it means I gotta get there ahead of him. And ahead of schedule, too.", Dani said before getting her backpack.

"Oh, and I'll take that back. Thank you.", Dani said before leaving.

"I knew it...! Skulker IS bound to Tucker's schedule. And as long as she and Danny're heading there, I'll give that Skulker a major beating like he wouldn't believe.", Jazz said to herself as her eyes glowed green.

Later, Skulker was watching Sampson (or Delilah) in his (her) habitat through his binoculars from a tree before he lowered them.

"Where are they? According to this infernal device-", Skulker began as he checked the PDA, which was playing the game, "Pong".

"-WHICH I CANNOT REPROGRAM- the ghost boy and ghost girl were supposed to be here an hour ago.", Skulker said before, finally having lost all patience, jumped down to talk to Sampson (Delilah).

"You were supposed to be the bait, you stupid animal!", Skulker berated.

But "Sampson" (Delilah) turned around, revealed to be Sam, Max, and Tucker holding up a fake gorilla suit.

"Sampson's not stupid!", Sam exclaimed.

"He's also not here. Can I take a message?", Tucker asked as he held up his PDA and stylus.

"You three! You'll pay for this!", Skulker snapped, aiming multiple weapons on his suit at them.

"Too bad you forgot one thing.", Dan spoke up as Sam and Max threw off the gorilla suit.

Then, Skulker turned to notice Dan, who is holding Jamie with one arm from behind him.

"Another human? And a baby?", Skulker puzzled.

"Close. You're not the only one who specializes in hunting.", Dan responded as he then got out an ecto-taser.

"That's right. I'm here to help my brother and sister's friends kick ghost butt and chew some bubblegum. And I'm all out of bubblegum.", Dan smirked before firing it and zapping Skulker.

But when he did, there was little to no effect on him at all, though it did leave Skulker puzzled for a moment before he became unamused.

"Really? That's all you got?", Skulker asked.

"Oh, I don't think so...", Tucker smirked.

He presses "SEND" on his PDA. Almost immediately, Skulker's PDA beeped and he checked it.

"'Time for push-ups.' What?!", Skulker exclaimed.

He tried to resist, but failed as his body automatically started doing push-ups.

"Stop! Stop! I can't...stop!", Skulker shouted.

Then, Danny, Dani, and Jazz, as Phantoms, flew into the air.

"I can help with that.", Danny spoke.

"Or better yet, all 3 of us will!", Dani added.

The trio flew at Skulker and punched him into the wall of the habitat. The Phantom trio then punched him five more times, as pieces of metal flew off his suit. Though, it wasn't long before Skulker dodged another punch and aimed an ecto-blaster on his shoulder at Danny and Dani.

"Ah-ah-ah. 10:11, polish armor.", Tucker said before sending the command from his PDA.

Suddenly, Skulker's blaster turned into a buffer and he started screaming as it polished his face.

"As helpful as it was, stop messing around, Tucker.", Max urged.

"There's no telling what he'll do if he gets mad.", Dan urged.

"Power him down already. Now!", Danny, Dani, and Jazz shouted in unison.

"Relax. Everything's totally under-", Tucker began, waving his PDA around.

But suddenly, an arrow hit the PDA and pinned it to the tree.

"-control? Aw, man! I had four more payments on this one!", Tucker exclaimed before Skulker put away his bow.

"Come on! You can't even be trusted to use your PDA?!", Dani snarked, peeved by the result.

"Tucker, you're fired.", Danny said.

"Very well. I planned on simply capturing you two and letting you live the rest of your lives in cages. But now, I will rest your pelts at the foot of my bed.", Skulker spoke angrily.

"Okay, that's just gross.", Sam commented.

"Yeah, that's a very disgusting thing to say.", Dani concurred before noticing some sparks flying out from where Dan hit him with the ecto-taser earlier before smirking.

"Well, Ghost Boy, Ghost Girl, any last words?", Skulker asked.

"You should really conserve your energy.", Dani advised with a smirk.

"What?", Skulker puzzled before suddenly, he went limp as the armor became heavier.

"Impossible...! How?!", Skulker exclaimed.

"It happened when I hit you with the ecto-taser. I just needed to be sure you deplete enough energy in whatever high tech armor you got to be paralyzed. Seems I hit the mark.", Dan explained.

"What...?!", Skulker spoke in shock.

"And that's not all.", Danny replied before he patted his head, covered his eyes repeatedly, and pounded his chest with his fists.

"What are you doing?", Skulker puzzled as Danny was then seen scratching his butt.

"Calling a friend.", Danny responded.

The gorilla in question returned and suddenly flew in, crashing into Skulker.

"You learned his language?", Sam asked.

"But how?", Dani asked.

"Well, that's simple. All he does is this.", Danny replied, continuing to scratch his butt.

"And right now, I'm wishing I hadn't asked.", Dani responded.

The gorilla continuously hit Skulker and ripped his armor apart, as Danny, Dani, Dan, Jazz, Max, Jamie, Sam, and Tucker both cheered the gorilla on and winced at the hits with Dan and Jazz covering Jamie's eyes. The ape even threw Skulker, whose arm has been ripped off, down on the ground.

"Well, uh, looks like the ghost has been stopped. I guess.", Jazz said.

"But I still don't understand why a ghost needed a high-tech battle suit.", Tucker puzzled.

"To make up for his small stature, of course.", Dan responded.

Suddenly, the gorilla continued to rip Skulker's armor apart and threw pieces of it over the gang's heads. Even Skulker's head armor was thrown and Danny caught it. Then, he and Dani noticed two small green legs kicking out from inside the head.

"And I MEAN small.", Dan added.

"Let me go! I am the Skulker! The Skulker! Do you hear me? Fear me!", the Skulker shouted in a squeaky voice.

Dani pulled on the legs to reveal Skulker's true form: a tiny green blob with a face and limbs. Frankly, the everyone except Jamie was shocked while the Fenton baby herself giggled.

"Aw. That's the hunter that gave us trouble all this time? He looks so cute, I could just eat him up.", Dani smirked.

"I am the greatest hunter in all of ghost world. You will all fear me.", Skulker retorted, visibly peeved with Dani belittling him.

"Thermos, please.", Danny said.

"And please, try not to release all the ghosts this time.", Dani added.

"This time?", Max puzzled.

"You just had to be there.", Dani responded.

Tucker then held the thermos out and activated it. Dani then dropped Skulker into its beam.

"You haven't seen the last of me! I shall capture you all. You shall all be mine. Mine, do you hear?!", Skulker threatened as he was being sucked in.

Tucker then capped off the thermos before Danny and Dani landed on the ground in their human forms.

"And that takes care of that.", Dan said.

"Cool. Let's go home.", Danny grinned.

"Yeah. It's been a very long night...", Dani concurred before realizing something.

"But what about your report?", Dani asked.

"Yeah, you didn't get anything you could use for your report. You're still gonna get a 'D.'", Sam agreed.

"Ah, that's okay. We stopped the bad guy, saved the gorilla. If that's all I got done, then that's-", Danny began as he knelt down to pick up Skulker's PDA just as the gorilla walked closer to him and Dani. The twins turned to look up at him, but were shocked (and in extreme elation for Dani's case) at what they saw.

"Oh, my gosh!", Danny shouted.

"I KNEW it!", Dani exclaimed.

"Aaaaand it just got awkward. See you later.", Jazz said with a blush as she turned intangible before then zooming away into the air.

The next day, it then went to a shot of the cover of Genius Magazine. The headline read, "He is a SHE!" The shot zoomed out to show Maddie, Dani, and Danny standing in front of the gorilla, whose hair is dressed up in a bow, with Jack peeking out in envy from behind her. A caption in the corner read, "Genius children of genius woman discovers gorilla male actually a female!". Mr. Lancer then picked up the magazine from his desk and opened it, reading it to the class.

"'Brooding geniuses Daniel & Danielle Fenton did what no other researcher dared to do. He got close enough to this rare purple-back gorilla to realize Sampson was actually a Delilah.' Nobody at that zoo ever bothered to see if it was a boy or a girl?", Mr. Lancer asked.

"That's weird, huh? Well, maybe they were respecting her privacy.", Danny responded.

"First of all, I don't know about brooding. And second of all, either way, Delilah can be sweet when you get to know her.", Dani added.

"Well, Fenton, I have to admit I'm impressed. Wanted to get your grade up so bad, you risked getting mauled by a gorilla.", Mr. Lancer spoke before placing one graded report on Dani's desk and another on Danny's desk.

"A for Dani, C for you.", Mr. Lancer said.

"A 'C?!'", Danny shouted.

"Yeah, I'm with him, Mr. Lancer. I don't mind the A, but with all due respect, we almost get killed by a gorilla, and all Danny gets is a 'C?!'", Dani concurred.

"Life's a big mystery, isn't it, Fenton?", Mr. Lancer responded before the bell rang and he started leaving the classroom.

"Next time you want to get your grade up, Mr. Fenton, try the library.", Mr. Lancer advised before he left.

"But that's what we've been doing from the start!", Dani said, peeved.

"Well, it's better than a 'D,' right?", Sam asked.

"And it should be just enough to get you off to a good start, at least.", Max added.

"I know I should be happy for Danny, and I am, but still, it ticks me off to no end that our efforts to get him an A were for nothing...!", Dani groaned. "How did the people of Genius Magazine know where to find us about what Delilah really was, anyway?"

"Jazz did say that she managed to pull some strings as soon as she was told the news.", Max responded.

"Well, that makes sense.", Dani responded.

"Oh, man! If only I had something I could take this out on!", Danny agreed.

Just then, Danny, Sam, and Tucker suddenly heard the Box Ghost yelling at a box of files in the back of the classroom.

"I am the Box Ghost! And once I empty you of your useless papers, your marvelous squareness shall be mine!", the Box Ghost shouted before laughing.

"Want first crack at him? Or do I have dibs?", Dani asked as she went ghost.

"Hello, misplaced aggression.", Danny added as he, too, went ghost.

"You've got five minutes.", Tucker assured as he checked his PDA.

"Which is four more than we'll need.", Danny smirked before he and Dani flew off and started fighting the Box Ghost; this time, the fight is going very well.

"Beware!", the Box Ghost groaned in pain as Sam and Tucker smiled.
