A couple of hours after we ate, I washed the dishes and put them away.
"That was a great breakfast, Michelle. I can't remember the last time I had a full stomach."
"Glad you liked it, Moo. What did you think of it, Kate?"
"It was very good. Like Moo said, I, too have a full stomach."
"It should hold you over 'til lunch now. When I cook, I make sure everyone leaves the table with a full stomach."
While we were talking, there was a knock on the door. Kate stood up and walked over to the door. She opened it and saw Cowlorado standing on the other side.
"Moo, it's for you. It's Cowlorado."
Moo walked over and asked why he was here.
"The Masked Bull is up to no good again, Moo. Dakota and I need you back in town."
Moo looked over at me and nodded. I nodded back and asked Kate if she had a horse I could borrow for the time being.
"Of course. Any friend of Moo's is a friend of mine. Let's get you a horse."
We all walked out to the stable and walked over to a beautiful tan horse with a black mane.
"This is Charley. He's 3 and very loveable. He'll be good to ya. Make sure to feed him at the end of the day."
"Will do, Kate. Thank you. I'll take good care of him." Then I looked over at my brother and nodded.
"Let's go, Moo. I wanna see this Masked Bull dude. Sounds like a bully, no pun intended, either."
Moo chuckled a bit. He got the joke even if it wasn't meant to be funny. Kate smiled and got the joke, too. Cowlorado was completely clueless with the whole thing.
"Don't worry, Kid. I'll tell you later. Let's ride."

By the time we got back into town, we had seen Cody run up to us. He was out of breath when he tried to talk.
"Slow down, Cody. Catch your breath then try to talk to us."
After he caught his breath, he told us that the Masked Bull was terrorizing the good town folk, including Miss Lily. That didn't sit well with my brother at all.
I looked at him and told him to relax. "I don't like that look, Moo. I know that look all too well. My boyfriend gets that same look when a woman is being harassed. It makes him mad."
"I'm very fond of Miss Lily, Michelle. She's a special woman to me."
"I get that, but you need to reign your anger in before rushing headstrong into something you can't get out of. Don't be foolish."
He sighed. "You're right. Rushing in like a fool would be stupid. Thank you for making me see that."
"No problem. That's what friends are for."
As we rode up to the Tumbleweed Saloon, The Masked Bull came running out with a bag full of something. I jumped off the horse and tackled him down. He threw me off and stood up. He found himself face to face with a woman who can fight.
"What the…who are you?"
"I'm your worst nightmare, you bully."
He threw a punch at me and I blocked it, then countered with a punch of my own to the right side of the ribs. He dropped the bag and started swinging at me. I blocked every punch and threw kicks and punches and finally took him down and cuffed him.
I looked at Moo and everyone else. "Do you have an idea of who it might be under the mask?"
"I think I do and I hope I'm right when I unmask him." Then he walked over and unmasked The Masked Bull.
Moo wasn't surprised on who it was. Everyone else was, though.
"I knew it was you, Terror Bull. The Mayor won't be bailing you out of jail this time. I'm sending you to federal prison for a very long time, along with the mayor."
"Speaking of Mayor lunch meat." I pointed towards the mayor. Moo chuckled at my joke. I smiled. "Its true."
"I'm not disagreeing with you. I think its funny. Please say it to him, Michelle. Please call him Mayor lunch meat."
"Really? You get the biggest kick out of that, don't you?"
"I won't lie, I do. Since you showed up, you've made my days much better."
"So, what do we owe the pleasure, Mayor?"
"Yeah, Mayor Lunch meat. Why are you gracing us with your presence?"
Moo outright laughed at the joke. I was glad I could make my brother laugh and brighten his day. The mayor was lost on the joke, which I suspected he would.
"Who arrested the good sheriff?"
"I did, Lunch meat. And you're next. Hands behind your back. If you resist, then you'll make taking you down even better for me."
The mayor looked at my brother. "Are you going to stop her, Marshall?"
"Nope. I've been after both of you for a very long time and now I'm putting both of you in federal prison for a very long time. This town needs to be safe and the town folk need to feel safe and now they will."
"Thanks to us."
Moo puts his hand on my shoulder. "Mostly you, Michelle. Those were some impressive moves. Your boyfriend teach you those?"
"Nope. I learned it elsewhere from someone who is no longer alive. He was a great instructor, too."
"I don't like to dwell on the past if I can help it. So, let's get these 2 locked up and get in contact with the Federal prison on when they can come pick up these 2."
"Kid, you take the mayor and I'll take Terror Bull."
"Sure thing, Moo. Come on, mayor."

After they were locked up and the Federal prison contacted, Cowlorado asked me about the jokes I've been telling.
I looked at my brother, who looked back at me and nodded. I looked back at Cowlorado.
"You really wanna know, huh?"
"Yeah, I do. What is so darn funny about the mayor's name?"
I told him to sit down while I get a piece of paper and a pencil.
He looked over at Moo and saw him grinning from ear to ear. "Its been a long time since you've been a good mood, Moo. Michelle has really made a good impression on you since she showed up."
"We have some news for all of you as well. You wanna tell them or should I, Michelle?"
"You can, but after I show Cowlorado the joke with the mayor's name."
I wrote down the mayor's name, then showed him how it was related to lunch meat. He was still kinda lost on it.
"That's ok, Kid. It'll sink in soon. Moo got it the first time."
"Stay seated, Kid. This is going to be a shocker."
I stood up and walked over to my brother. I stood next to him.
Cowlorado saw a resemblance between us.
"Are you 2 related in some way?"
"You could say that. Michelle is my older sister. Her last name is Montana like mine."
"What I don't understand is why was she out in the dessert?"
"I don't know why, either. I was sent here to take care of my baby brother, only to see him all grown up and in law enforcement. I'm proud of you, baby brother."
"Think dad would be, too?"
"I know he would. Tell me about T-Bone? Who is he to you?"
"He raised me after dad brought me to the orphanage. He adopted me."
"He did a good job then. Martin."
"Martin?"
"His real name. He was named after our dad. Moo was a nickname 'til he was brought here. It became his real name then."
I noticed that Dakota didn't seem to shocked that Moo has a sister. In fact, he didn't seem to care at all.
He makes me a bit uncomfortable at times. I had decided to go for a walk and get a feel for the town.

While I was out for a nice, quiet walk, my brother managed to catch up with me.
"Everything ok, sis?"
I stopped and looked at him. "No, its not. Dakota makes me feel uncomfortable."
"He's a big softie once you get to know him. It'll take some time 'til he warms up to you. Just stick with me and Cowlorado for now."
"Ok. I don't want him to think I'm pushing him out the way since showing up. I think he feels that way."
"He'll be fine. Like I said, he'll warm up to you, but if it'll make you feel better, I'll have a talk with him. I'll let him know that you feel uncomfortable around him."
"Thanks little brother. What if there's no way for me to go back to my time? What if I'm stuck here?"
"I wouldn't mind you being stuck here, but I know that's not what you want. I don't wanna lose my big sister."
I smiled and hugged him. He hugged me back.
Cody had spotted us and walked up to us.
"Howdy Cody. What can we do for you?"
"I just stopped by your office, Moo. Cowlorado said you went for a walk."
"Just making sure my sister was ok."
"Miss Michelle is your sister?"
"I sure am, Cody. My last name is Montana like Moo."
"Are you a Marshall, too?"
"Yep. Since you're here, Cody. Could you give a tour of the town?"
Cody looks at Moo. "Go ahead, Calf-pint. She'll protect you."
"Ok. Let's go, Miss Michelle."
"Please just call me Michelle."
"Ok, but I was taught to respect my elders."
"And that's a good lesson, but I just prefer Michelle."
Cody nods and takes me on a tour of the town. We started with the General Store and worked our way around 'til we ended up at the Tumbleweed.
