After their time together at the mall, Bradley, Luna and the girls were going to end the day with a party at a club. The group of young merpeople proceeded to swim up to said club, which was known as Merrick's Fun House. As they got in line for the club, Bradley was, needless to say, excited to be partying at a merfolk club for the night. Back home on the surface, he would sometimes go partying at clubs with Barry and his other friends from the surface, and he would often show off his dance moves on the dance floor. Now that he was a merman, he was curious if he would be able to show off his dance moves, even with a fishtail instead of legs.
One by one, the bouncer at the club entrance would let the merpeople that were waiting in line in, and soon, it was Bradley's turn. The bouncer eyed Bradley, not having seen him at the club before, but still gave his approval, letting the blond merman inside. Bradley soon caught up to the girls, and Bradley looked around the club, being amazed by how fun it looked to be at the club.
"Whoa, now this is a club!" Bradley blurted out loud, which got a giggle out of the girls.
"Yeah, this club certainly is a lot of fun. The girls and I come here all the time. Now how about we have ourselves a little dance on the dance floor, my little merprince~?" Luna asked Bradley with a smile, holding out her hand towards him.
"Certainly, my little merprincess~." Bradley smiled as he took Luna's hand and the two lovefishes proceeded to swim onto the dance floor, with Luna's friends soon joining them. Bradley and Luna then proceeded to dance around the dance floor, with Bradley lightly giggling as him and Luna did so. The merman was still quite the good dancer, even with the fishtail replacing his legs.
Luna sighed happily. "You dance nice and soft, like a real prince..." She told Bradley as she looked into his blue eyes that were hidden behind his newly bought sunglasses.
Bradley giggled a bit more. "You dance nice and soft yourself, like a real princess." He told Luna with a smile as he looked into her light green eyes, which were glistening with excitement. After dancing for a while, Bradley, Luna and their friends proceeded to leave the dance floor as they went to grab a drink at the bar. Each one of them proceeded to order a glass of soda, which they received from the bartender shortly afterward.
"Well, girls. I'd say this was a very fun day. What did you think?" Bradley asked the girls with a smile.
"This certainly was a very fun day, Bradley. And I owe it all thanks to you being by my side all day." Luna told Bradley with a smile as her tail swished for a moment.
"I agree. It was nice meeting you today, Bradley. I hope we'll have many more great days with you in Sublantica and beyond." Lucille agreed with Luna's words, smiling and nodding as she did so.
"Mhm! You definitely made this day a whole lot more fun for us, so thanks for that!" Vanessa chimed in.
"We're definitely happy to be your friends, Bradley, and if you need any help getting settled into life in Sublantica when Luna isn't available, don't hesitate to call us." Betty-Lou gave her ten cents on the matter.
"Yeah, let's definitely get together and have another fun day like this again real soon." Ivy spoke her piece.
Bradley giggled at that. "Alright, girls. We'll definitely do so. Cheers!" The merman declared as the young merpeople toasted with their drinks and proceeded to take a sip. Later, Bradley and Luna left the club and bid Luna's friends goodbye before proceeding to swim back towards the palace. The two lovefishes were unaware that the evil merman and Rico were spying on them from a nearby rooftop.
"We have to stop that new merman from getting his true love's kiss! Once morning comes, he'll have 5 days left to kiss that little mergirl or he'll perish!" The evil merman declared with an irritated look on his face.
"Yeah, but how are we going to do that? That merman is practically glued to the little mergirl's side, and there's no way to pry him loose from her!" Rico told his boss with an equally irritated look on his face.
"Hm..." The evil merman began thinking before an idea suddenly hit him. "I think I have an idea. In a set of caves, about 5 kilometers from Sublantica, a trident is hidden away. This trident holds great power, and we could use that to our advantage to drive that merman away from the little mergirl. Do you think you could go fetch us this trident, Rico?" He asked his black haired servant with a coy smile.
An equally coy smile formed onto Rico's face, and he nodded. "Yes, boss. I'll go get us that trident, and when I find the right moment, I'll use that trident to drive those two lovefishes apart." He replied to his boss before swimming off to go find the trident.
The evil merman nodded back before turning back to Bradley and Luna, who were still swimming through the streets of Sublantica to get back to the palace.
"Soon, my little merboy, you will lose your chance to get your true love's kiss, and when you do, you'll be passing away, and when you do end up passing away, your soul is mine for the taking, just you wait and see..." The evil merman grinned menacingly before laughing evily.
Meanwhile, Bradley and Luna had made it back to the palace and after having informed King Neptune of their return, the two merpeople swam up to their respective bedrooms before looking at each other, smiling.
"Will I see you again tomorrow, Luna?" Bradley asked Luna, the smile not leaving his face.
"Of course you will, Bradley. I'll likely be busy with my royal duties tomorrow, so I might not have as much time to hang out with you tomorrow, but I'll be sure to assign a servant to stick by your side so that you won't be completely alone in Sublantica tomorrow." Luna informed him.
Bradley nodded at that. "Understood. Will we have time to hang out tomorrow after you're finished with your royal duties then?" He asked the mermaid princess curiously.
Luna nodded back. "Of course. Once I'm done with my royal duties tomorrow, I'll call you on my shellphone, and then we'll be hanging out again." She told the blond haired merman with a reassuring smile.
Bradley smiled back at Luna, satisfied with that answer. "Alright, I'm glad to hear that. I'll be off to bed now, but I hope you'll have a good night's sleep, my sweet princess." He told the little mermaid in an affectionate tone of voice.
"Of course. Good night to you too, my little merprince~." Luna told Bradley in an equally affectionate tone of voice before they both proceeded to enter their respective bedrooms and closed the door behind them.
Luna swam over to her bed, got into it and hugged her pillow, sighing happily. "Boy, Bradley's just so...dreamy..." She spoke out loud, being lovestruck, which got a giggle out of Winnie.
"If you love him so much, why don't you two just kiss already?" Winnie teased her sister as her tail moved about softly in her bed.
Luna turned to Winnie, her cheeks being as red as a tomato as her tail flicked. "I-I still find it a bit early to kiss Bradley...I-I mean, I haven't even known him for a week yet..." She admitted.
Winnie giggled a little bit. "Alright, fair enough, sis. It's indeed better to slow down and consider your options than to rush into something you might regret. Relationships are an example of that. But there's no doubt that you wanna be with Bradley for the rest of your life, right?" She asked Luna with a smile.
Luna smiled and nodded, still blushing as she did so. "O-Of course! He's the one for me! I just want to slowly get to know him better before I go and kiss him, that's all!" She told Winnie.
Winnie nodded back at that. "That does make sense, sis. Well, good night." She told Luna before turning over in her bed, sighing and fading off to sleep. Luna also sighed and faded off to sleep, still hugging her pillow as she began dreaming about Bradley and herself having romantic adventures underwater.
Meanwhile, Bradley was lying down in his bed, his hands behind his head as he stared at the ceiling. "Alright, today was my second day as a merman, and it was a success, I'd say. Now I have 5 days left to kiss Luna before the sun sets on the 7th day, or else my demise will be spelled out...But I'm sure I'll successfully kiss Luna before that happens..." Bradley told himself before he turned over in his bed, and with a sigh, he fell asleep as his second day as a merman came to an end.
