A new update for the story, I waited a little bit to get more applications in. So far, I'm really happy with the apps that have been submitted because I feel like each and every one of these characters can play a role and build something around each other. Of course, there's still plenty of spots left and nothing has been fully finalized yet, but so far I'm really happy with the turnout.
There's no rush on submitting someone for this, but as you can see from the list it's getting bigger, and I would love to start on the story as soon as I can, so if you're interested in having a character potentially be part of this story then I'd recommend sending in someone sooner than later.
To address some other things, I have been asked a few questions.
1. What type of characters am I looking for?
Right now, I feel like I have a little bit of everyone. So, my response to this question right now would be to send in anyone you like and that you would think would work well in a world tour setting. If there's anything I'm looking for, it's probably just more gender diversity, since that's the only thing I'm lacking at the moment. I'm not saying to stop making male characters for this, but any other gender that has a quality application may have priority of the abundance of males I'm getting. That's just something to look into. Otherwise, go full ham on your characters and shape them in a way you're feeling inspired to.
2. Are you only accepting 16 characters?
Yes, right now it's set at 16. If I do get applications over 16 and I'm having trouble with deciding who to place into it, I'm open to turning the cast to 18. For now, it's still set at 16 and if anything, any character that doesn't make it in can have smaller roles, either as staff or as a small appearance throughout the tour.
