A/N: Shun calls Juvia 'Sister' for obvious reasons. Just thought I would point that out in case you get confused.

Episode 239.

Enjoy!

CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE: JELLAL VS. ORACION SEIS

Natsu had slammed down Crawford while Franmalth can only look in shock. "Where are Erza and Mira?!" Natsu asked.

"An intruder?! Tartaros has an intruder?! How much will it cost to repair this damage?!" Franmalth questioned.

Back in the dungeon was Kyoka and Erza. "Noisy... Yakdoriga!" Kyoka called out as a monster appeared from above.

"Watch the woman. I'm going to see what's going on out there. Don't you dare touch her. I'm looking forward to torturing her more." Kyoka claimed.

"Give me back Erza and Mira!" Natsu ordered.

"Well, well. Then you're a friend of the human prisoners. So you're with Fairy Tail?" Franmalth asked.

"Then they are here!" Happy exclaimed.

"How did you know where we were? Don't tell me you followed the former chairman?" Franmalth questioned. "How much will this blunder cost?!"

"Shut up already!" Natsu shouted, punching Franmalth with a flaming fist.

Shun, Gray, and Juvia were riding back to Fairy Tail. "We'll go back to the guild first. It seems they've worked out the addresses of several former Council members." Gray informed.

"Gray-sama... Juvia has a really bad feeling about this, for some reason." Juvia said.

Shun sighed. "Yeah... You're not the only one, Sister." He agreed, thinking back to the ruined town they had seen.

"Our opponents devastated a town. I can understand how the both of you would be depressed..." Gray stated, making Shun huff.

"That's not it. It's something else." Juvia claimed. Gray placed his hand over Juvia's.

"I'm with you. We're gonna win, like we always do. I swear it." Gray promised before glancing at Shun. "And you, wipe that worried look off your face. Remember that saying I always told you when we were kids?"

"No matter what kind of hell awaits us, I'm with you until the end!"

Shun scoffed. "What a cheesy phrase that was." He muttered as Gray chuckled.

"Still... I can't help but worry. My intuition is often right..." Shun thinks to himself.

Franmalth soon got back up. "You hit me, huh? How much is that sin going to cost?" He questioned as the armor he was wearing soon came off. "1,000 of your souls!"

"He's stretchy!" Happy pointed out.

Franmalth's arm soon wrapped around Natsu. "Connection." He spoke as Natsu ended up getting zapped by lightning.

"What is this?! Losing... my strength..." Natsu muttered as Happy soon bites onto Franmalth's arm, shocking the demon. Natsu soon broke free.

"Nice, Happy!" He praised.

"That hurt!" Franmalth said, shoving Happy off of him.

"What did you do to Happy?!" Natsu exclaimed, rushing forward.

Franmalth sent multiple punches at Natsu, who easily avoided them before sending a punch himself.

"Fire Dragon's..." Flames appeared from Natsu's hand. "...Grip Strike!"

Natsu attacks Franmalth with flames, causing an explosion as Franmalth skidded on the ground.

"Now it's gonna cost you 2,000 souls!" He shouted.

"Even after Natsu hit him with those flames at point blank range... What is he?!" Happy wondered.

"Enough, Franmalth. Let me handle this. You take away the chairman." Silver ordered, arriving.

"Silver-sama..." Franmalth said.

Silver smirked while Natsu widened his eyes. Franmalth pulled the chairman away.

"Well, he's all yours. I'll have the chairman do what needs to be done the second he wakes up." Franmalth stated.

"Button your lips."

"The temperature just dropped in here." Natsu realized.

"I-I'm cold, Natsu!" Happy said.

"It was you, wasn't it? You melted the ice at the Sun Village." Silver said.

"Are you the one who froze the village?" Natsu questioned.

Silver grinned. "I'm grateful for what you did! I would've kept feeling guilty otherwise. I froze the whole village based on a misunderstanding, it seems." He replied.

"You... You kind of smell like a pair of twin brothers I know." Natsu realized. "Gray and Shun—"

Before he could finish his sentence, purple ice soon froze Natsu solid. "Natsu!" Happy shouted.

"Don't utter those filthy names." Silver claimed.

Gray and Shun were still on their way to Fairy Tail while Silver walked away.

Meanwhile, Lyon was walking through the hallways of Tartaros with Mila, when he spotted Silver.

"Another intruder?" Silver wondered as Lyon narrowed his eyes.

"He holds a striking resemblance to Gray and Shun." Lyon noticed before widening his eyes. "Could this be...!"

"Silver and Valkoinen... Do you know who they are?"

"Silver is Shun and Gray's biological father. He's an okay guy. But his personality changes drastically when Shun and Gray are involved."

"I'm going to take a wild guess and say you're Silver." Lyon guessed, making Silver get taken aback. But he soon regained his composure.

"How did you..."

"It's a bit complicated to explain, but my future self mentioned you. And you're not Valkoinen, considering he's a dragon. So that left the only option." Lyon explained. "Is it because of you? Are you the reason Shun is having a hard time sleeping at night?"

Silver clenched his jaw and before Lyon knew it, he was frozen solid — just like Natsu.

Mila gasped before quickly flying away. "Forgive me, Lyon! I'll come back! I promise!" She thought.

Seilah walked up to Kyoka. "Have you uncovered the identities of the three who are sealing away Face?" She asked.

"That's right. I have to admit that the former chairman's Super Archive is incredible magic." Kyoka replied.

"Then we won't have to do any more wanton killing, yes?" Seilah questioned.

"Among the three, two of the 'sealers' were our previous targets." Kyoka answered.

"Who is the last one?"

"Jellal." Kyoka responded. "If we find and kill him, we can activate Face."

"Face... A magical pulse bomb, a dreadful doomsday weapon..." Seilah said.

"But we need it."

"Yes, I know. Does it look like we'll find Jellal-san?"

"That depends on Erza."

"You are talented at getting people to talk, Kyoka-sama." Seilah complimented.

"I could use my Curse, Macro, to order her, but that wouldn't be any fun. More importantly, I don't want any more interference from Fairy Tail." Kyoka said.

"You can leave that to me. I have prepared a fitting tale for the end of Fairy Tail."

"Come here, Seilah. I haven't shown you much affection in a while."

"Kyoka-sama..."

Jellal was still battling it out with the Oracion Seis in the wasteland as he skids on the ground. "Jellal!" Meredy shouted.

"Get back, Meredy!" Jellal ordered.

"But I can't let you fight them on your own..." Meredy protested.

"I have to do it!" Jellal claimed.

"I won't let you interfere with our freedom!" Racer sped forward.

"You or anyone!" Cobra added.

Both Racer and Cobra struck Jellal as Angel was surrounded in a golden light.

"The chains that bound us are gone!" Angel shouted as 'angels' flew towards Jellal.

"Our path began inside the dark tower... We thought Brain saved us, but that was a false freedom. It only split apart our families, cursed the world, and released the sealed-away Zero. Now, true freedom is finally before our eyes. We..." Midnight trailed off.

Jellal used Meteor as he was encased in a golden light before punching Racer in the face.

"I'll release you!" Jellal exclaimed. "The freedom you have right now is still a lie!"

Jellal continued moving at a rapid speed, striking Cobra next.

"As long as you're in thrall to darkness, it will be eternal."

Jellal was unaware that Zero appeared, taking control of Brain.

Fairy Tail...

"I'm sorry. We went to the former Council chairman's house..." Carla started to say.

"...but Erza, Mira-san, Natsu, and Happy were all gone." Lucy finished. "The house had been destroyed."

"My nose wasn't strong enough to trace their scent..." Wendy added.

"What's going on?" Gray wondered.

"I hope they're all safe..." Juvia said.

"If we knew where Tartaros was, we could strike back..." Levy stated.

"Gajeel, can't you go to the chairman's house and search by their scents?" Lily suggested.

Gajeel placed his hand on Wendy's head. "If this brat couldn't do it, then I don't have a chance." He replied.

Mila looked at her best friend. "What about you, Shun? Think you could sniff them out?" She asked.

Shun sighed. "Unfortunately, human odors don't hang around in the air for long. Even if I could, their scents would be long gone." He responded, with Gajeel nodding in agreement.

Makarov had his eyes closed as he was in deep thought. "I'm worried about Elfman and Lisanna too, since they haven't checked in." Cana said.

"What about the guys who went to the other former Council members' houses?" Jet asked.

"Apparently, nothing's happening there." Droy answered.

"Tartaros... Isn't there anything we can do to get information on their headquarters?" Makarov wondered.

"Found it!" Happy soon flew in. "We found their headquarters!"

"Happy!"

Happy soon fell to the ground as he soon got up. "They caught Erza and Mira! The former chairman is a traitor! They even got Natsu! I..."

"Calm down!" Carla told him.

"Aye." Happy nodded.

"Unbelievable. The former chairman is a Tartaros turncoat?!" Makarov said.

"And they've got Erza and Mira?!"

"Dammit!"

Happy turned to face Gray and Shun. "Also..." Happy trailed off, recalling what Silver had said.

"Don't utter those filthy names."

"N... Nothing." Happy finished, making Shun raise an eyebrow in question.

However, he thought back to where Mila had bursted through the Fairy Tail guild hall.

The guild doors soon opened as Mila had flown in. "Shun!" Mila called out, flying into her partner's chest.

"Mila? What are you doing here?"

"Lyon's been captured by Tartaros!" Mila announced, shocking both Shun and Gray. "I'm sorry I couldn't get to him on time!"

"They captured Natsu, too. I wanted to save him, but on my own, I... I... I'm sorry..." Happy choked out.

Lily soon walked towards Happy. "Happy, now isn't the time for self-recrimination. Tell us about their base." He said.

"Aye... Their headquarters is constantly moving. It's like a weird, cube-shaped island." Happy explained.

"Moving?!"

"Then you don't know a precise position?!"

"Happy, do you know the general location and direction it was heading?" Levy asked.

"I came from that direction... and it was moving that way..." Happy replied as Lily dead panned at his explanation. "That's right! A guard said something about Bosco."

"Bosco?" Lily quoted.

"Then it's by the border!" Makarov realized.

"I think I can figure something out! Leave it to me! I'll calculate the enemy's path! I promise I'll pinpoint their location." Levy promised, making the guild cheer.

"That's our Levy!" Jet and Droy spoke in unison.

"Happy, as much as possible, try to accurately recall the scenery you saw and the direction of the sun." Levy instructed.

Happy nodded. "O-Okay."

"Everyone else, prepare to move out!" Makarov ordered.

"I left Natsu behind..." Happy muttered.

"No, you didn't. You did your best to save everyone." Lucy reassured, hugging Happy. "Right?"

"Aye..."

Elfman soon stepped into the guild hall, getting Jet and Droy's attention.

"Elfman!"

"You're all right?!"

"Huh? Where's Lisanna?"

"It's almost time to activate my trap." Seilah informed.

"'A fitting tale for the end of Fairy Tail'?" Kyoka quoted.

"Yes." Seilah replied. "The fairies will be destroyed from within."

"Elfman, where's Lisanna?" Gray questioned.

"We couldn't get in touch, so we were worried." Juvia added.

"Lisanna... was captured." Elfman responded, causing both Gray and Gajeel to widen their eyes.

"Oh, no..." Happy muttered.

"Even Lisanna?!" Lucy exclaimed.

"We were too late to help Sage Yuri, too." Elfman continued. "Even though... Even though I was with her..."

"It's not your fault." Gray told him.

"Right now, Levy is calculating the location of the enemy's base." Lily informed.

"Lisanna-san will be okay. We'll definitely save her." Juvia reassured.

"Yeah..."

"Pathetic. Your little sister is abducted, and you come home without even pursuing the enemy?" Cana questioned.

"Cana-san!" Wendy exclaimed.

"I-I lost sight of them..." Elfman muttered.

"Lost sight of them?! The enemy kidnapped Lisanna and you couldn't catch up to them in your beast form?!" Cana continued.

"That's enough, Cana!" Gray said.

"We don't know the full story about what happened! Have some sympathy!" Shun added.

Cana turned to look at him. "If it were Gray in Lisanna's place, you would've gone straight after Tartaros to save him!" She pointed out.

"Don't bring my brother into this you bi—"

"Woah, woah. Relax, Shun." Gray intervened, noticing frost was coming from Shun's fist. He was trying to get him to calm down before Cana became frozen solid.

Besides, he knew how stressed he was ever since Mila brought the news to him about Lyon.

"I'm sorry... I'm going to rest for a bit..." Elfman said.

"Everyone's on edge." Carla commented.

"There was no call to talk to him like that!" Gray scolded Cana.

Elfman walked down into the guild's basement, remembering Seilah's words.

"If you don't obey my Macro, I'll make you do the same thing again. You have an easy job. Go back to the guild, and install this lacrima."

"W-What is it?" Elfman asked.

"An ultra-concentrated Ether luminous sphere. It's about 500 times more powerful than Jupiter. It will vaporize the guild in an instant." Seilah replied.

"I can't do that..." Elfman began to protest.

"You will do it."

"Yes..."

"My Macro is absolute."

"Yes. In order to get Lisanna back..." Elfman pulls out the purple lacrima. "...I'll destroy Fairy Tail!"

A/N: Originally, Lyon wasn't supposed to get captured. But I figured, why not? He'll already be at Tartaros when the others arrive.

Thanks for reading!
