Jasper: So sorry for the lat posting life happens but I will try to get more chapters out quicker until then enjoy act 2.
Months later
After training and with middle school almost over with he was able to create a core and gotten it to an impressive bronze level, never underestimate someone who loves quirks as much as he has to not work hard to get stronger.
Izuku was pretty confident in himself his feline companion is also someone you can't snub your nose at or you might end up seriously maimed.
Izuku for the most part is considered a black belt in martial arts and with his companion and using chi to also feel the auras of his opponents he is able to fight as well as someone who can see.
His healing is also pretty top notch if he does think to himself of course he has to keep it a secret until he can become strong enough and to be set enough that he can comfortably use his healing powers in the open.
Of course Katsuki Bakugo and he were the best of friends now even though he could be prickly to others and call them extras and curse them out but overall he hasn't done anything abusive or in any way could be considered bulling in his view.
Of course for some reason Orion does not like him and taken to sneak attacks at Katsuki whenever he is not in the area and Katsuki fights back but to this day he could never figure out why they got such a dislike for each other maybe because he almost caused his death?
Anyway on top of Orion fighting with Katsuki he too also spars with him to keep his skills sharp and learn new moves and ways to fight at every opportunity he can get to make up for his blindness.
As they were released from class with Katsuki and Izuku both applying to UA they are heading home taking the short cut under the bridge to save off some time to get home to watch an All Might special that will be airing in a few hours time from now.
While they traverse the short cut Izuku smells a foul stench and with his heighten sense he curled up and slapped his hands on his nose his eyes watering.
Bakugo Katsuki and Orion are on high alert looking around when they hear the rattle of a sewage cap being lifted up and a foul slime monster appears eyeing the group.
Katsuki hands crackle while Orion grows to be the size of a snow leopard with silver spots included and ice color flame like aura glowing on his paws, ears, tail, with black sclera's and glowing icy blue eyes.
The slime hesitates but seeing one is incapacitated and he is running out of time before the hero chasing him arrives to capture him he goes for it lunging at Izuku.
Not only is he met with a heated explosion staggering him back the feline attacks and he finds himself with wounds from the feline freezing the area he was marked as ice starts to spread locking him in ice and this all happened so fast he didn't realized he lost and was captured.
The smelled finally gone with the slime villain being lock in ice Izuku feels the danger has passed and that everything was taken care of "Thanks Kacchan thanks Orion" he chirp cheerfully when they hear a loud thud follow by a small quake from the shocking force of someone landing nearby here "FEAR NO FOR I-"the blond man stops as he sees two boys and one over grown kitty and a frozen criminal in front of him and that has him at a loss now.
So after a quick assessment clears his throat "so, someone wants to tell me what's going on here?" he asked in his hero voice and Katsuki was star struck their hero ALL MIGHT is right in front of them! It's a pity Izuku can't see this he would be fanboying SO hard.
After shaking his head he looks at the hero "Yes well the villain fuckin attacked us and we fucked him up in self defense" he replied even if he did turn over a new leaf cursing is still very much a part of whom he is and will always use that lingo.
ALL MIGHT is taken aback by the foul language then nods "Ok, but you still use your powers and since your aren't heroes yet that's against the law" he stated to which a rebutted came from a green hair boy "Actually there is a stipulation if our lives were threaten which it were we would not be held accountable for our action to defend ourselves and he did attack us first letting us act in self defense to preserve our very lives" Izuku finished eloquently since he knew he should audio booked to brush up on the laws just in case.
ALL MIGHT didn't know what to say after that so clearing his throat "Well be that as it may good job and try not to do it again" he told him collecting the villain and before leaving turned around to tell them "Even though you're not heroes yet you did good today and you will make fine heroes" he told the lot before leaping away.
Katsuki was beaming well his beaming was more of a psychotic grin and he looks to Izuku "That was ALL MIGHT! Can you believe it?! Our hero here! And he collected the villain!" he crowed to which Orion just rolls his blues eyes before shrinking back to a more cute size and licking his paw then grimaces that villain tasted foul.
Izuku's eye lit up behind his shade well as lit up as a blind person could be without sight and started grinning "That was ALL MIGHT! I can't believe it oh my gosh! I lectured ALL MIGHT on the law!" he said recalling the incident hitting him and he was feeling dazed.
Katsuki snickered at that and elbowed him "You did and it's a pity you weren't able to land a hit in" he said with a more solemn voice "It wouldn't have helped I need to do more sensory training I can't let something like this affect my hero work I mean I can fight well and know my bearings but without my sight my other senses are much sharper and I'm a rabbit for crying out loud it's like doubled that of a normal person" he lamented to which Katsuki just patted his shoulder.
Picking up their bags he looks over to Izuku "Let's go home" he told him as they headed back to Izuku's house to be dropped off before going to his own house.
After entering his home his mother comes out in a yellow apron "Hi sweetie how was your day?" she asked Izuku smiled "great mom! Me Katsuki and Orion met a villain and we won!" he told her enthusiastically and she gasp "Are you ok?!" she asked worried "I'm fine mom Orion and Katsuki made sure I didn't get hurt" he soothed her and she smiles then looks at Orion extra tuna for you" he said to which Orion purrs in happiness.
After dinner Izuku goes to take a bath with Orion and they get he gets dressed in his ALL MIGHT pajamas as he enters his ALL MIGHT themed room and then goes to this desk as he boots up the computer and put his head phones on and with his brail keyboard he searches for hero videos he may not be able to see it but his partner can and then write down notes which he reads later and analyzes with his friend after.
Just because he's blind doesn't mean he can't do anything with his friend as his eyes and his claws to make brail notes the skies are the limit.
After a few hours of video watching as well as that special so he can talk with Katsuki tomorrow about it.
He then goes to get his homework done before going to bed tomorrow he has to go down to the vet since it's a weekend thanks to his benefactor he is able to practice his healing skills without having his cover blown.
In the morning
Izuku gets up with Orion and they get ready for the day and came down to breakfast which is waiting for them as his mother is already dressed to take him down to the vet's offices so he can continue his healing and today is his last day considering he will have to get ready for the UA exam.
Although his mother didn't like the fact of her baby going off and placing himself in danger she understood that this was his dream and after finally getting a quirk two of them at that how could she have the heart to stop him? Also the fact he can heal himself and others is a little comfort to her in letting her baby peruse his dreams.
Arriving at the clinic
"Ok baby we're here" she told him as she parked the car and they gotten out she also gotten a gift for the staff here since they had been so accommodating and it being his last day she wanted to say a proper farewell to them.
As they entered they are greeted by Hiromi she is the front desk vet technician smiled at them "Hello again Inko-san Izuku-Kun" she greeted as she ruffled Izuku's hair "I'm sad this is your last day here the animals and staff will miss you" she told him as she guided him to the back areas where the injured animals were.
When as they were passing the hall a lot of the staff and doctors greeted him and congratulated him on his last day and how he will be missed and how they look forward to the hero he will be once he graduates from UA.
They arrived at the back room and the animals all greeted him in their own as he smiles and greeted them back before getting to work and soon an hour passed with a heavy heart he says goodbye to the animals and goes to the break area to eat and drink and take a little nap considering his healing does take a toll on him but it has gotten better as he gotten control of his power output when healing.
After his nap his mother comes in to take him home bidding farewell to the staff and giving them her gift as they then exits to the car to take them home and once they arrived at their destination they exited the car and went inside to have a nice lunch.
Later Katsuki comes to visit greeting Inko as he then making his way up to Izuku's room when he opens the door "you heard the special?" he asked excitedly "I did! It was awesome! I can't wait to be a hero like ALL MIGHT! Saving people putting away criminals and making people smile" he exclaimed nodding fast almost enough to fling his glasses from his face.
Katsuki shakes his head "calm down your going to throw your glasses on the floor again" he warned as he sits next to him which makes Orion hiss at him which in turn makes Katsuki growl at him and Izuku sighs this is an everyday occurrence.
He glares at them or as much as a blind person can with glasses and he reprimands them "we are going to be a hero trio can we PLEASE get along this has got to stop I don't know what your two beef are with each other but disharmony on the field can get us killed" he finished crossing his arms when the two looks ashamed and looks away from each other.
After signing he looks at him "I know ALL MIGHT is all time favorite hero but what do you think about Kamui Woods, and Mt Lady?" he asked considering their fight was filmed and it just so happens to have been found while searching for hero videos.
Katsuki clicks his tongue in annoyance "That bitch totally show boated Kamui woods considering he was an up and coming hero with some achievements under his belt and Mt Lady decided to have her début by butting into a battle? She so could've looked for another villain not like this world is lacking in them" he grouched not liking how that was handled.
Izuku nods "I couldn't agree with you more and as much as I do like heroes I also know a lot of them are in it for the fame and money I mean have you seen the property damage and victims? Sometimes there is more collateral damage done by heroes then the villains they fight" he said depressed by this fact.
Katsuki clicks his tongue again "well we're gunna fix that we gunna show those bastards what it means to be a hero like ALL MIGHT!" he declared as a natural fact which Izuku laughs "your right we'll show the heroes what it means to be a hero because apparently they ignore ALL MIGHT conduct!" he said a bit irritated at that.
"But I also want to change societies perceptions on things like being…quirkless or having a villain's skill I know that doing crime isn't right but if people keep pointing out and condemning people for their quirks more villains will just be created because they'll think that's the only way to make a living and that's sad" he said in a small subdue voice which makes Katsuki stiffen a bit considering he too was like that until that incident which changed his way of thinking.
Katsuki clears his throat "well then we just need to get the number one spot so we can make those changes to make things a bit better as a whole" he decaled as Izuku nods "Yes! We'll be number one! And show the world what's what and make a difference!" Izuku exclaims being cheered up now.
Katsuki nods "anyway it's getting late and the old hag wants me home to do some chores and my home work I'll smell you later" he told Izuku as his bids him farewell and said goodbye to Inko before heading home.
In his room Izuku then begins to meditate considering he doesn't do it every day but every other day the reason why is because the breathing method requires him to do so for the best results.
After a few hours of meditation he goes down with Orion to have dinner and have a pleasant conversation with his mother they finish their meals and he goes to take a bath with Orion as they get out as go to his room once more.
Next morning
Izuku and Orion after their morning routine goes out for a run then training in the nearby park which Katsuki joins them for and they have a good spar before hitting a local café for some drinks and a quick meal.
While they are eating, talking, and dipping their drinks there is a loud crash not far away from them as people start running to the scene and Katsuki eyes lit up "this is great! Let go see the fight and see what heroes show up!" he said as he gotten up and paid for their bill as they quickly head over to the scene.
When they got there it was chaos and so much fire didn't take long to realize it was Endeavor and he was fighting a villain in a hyper hazard way which wrecked buildings and had people running for their lives.
Katsuki glared at the scene before quickly leading Izuku away "We shouldn't be close Endeavor is fighting here people and places get wrecked this is no place for us" he told him as they get far away and Izuku has a dark look on his face hearing that.
"How can they allow a man like that to be a hero? And the number 2 Hero at that! This is just giving a bad name to heroes everywhere! And what's worse the people are too brainwashed to realize that he should be locked up in Tartars not celebrated as he is" he muttered still with a dark look on his face.
Orion hops onto to Izuku's shoulder and nuzzles him as Izuku face then relax and he sighs "We have to make it in to UA and graduate so things like this never happens again!" he declared as they start to head home.
As they pass an alleyway someone just so happened to overhear that rant about the number two hero and ponders since most people in society are enamored with heroes they over look their major flaws but this child doesn't and his friend seems to be of liked mind but they want to be heroes which is a no go in his book but then again have moles in the Hero association might not be a bad idea he thought as the two children walk away.
The man in the sides looks to his right briefly "Kurogiri do keep an eye on them they maybe of interests to my plans and having them in my fold maybe worth the time to strike when the iron is hot" the masked man commanded as the shadow man bowed "as you wish sensei" he responded as he made a portal for the man to get back to his lair as he goes to monitor the two children his master is interested in.
After making it home Katsuki asked his mom if he could stay the night and his mother agreed and Izuku's mom also agreed to this impromptu sleep over.
After having dinner they go up to Izuku's room and Katsuki spies the latest volume and his eyes lights up "your working on a new book?" he asked Izuku nods "I originally did this so I can become my ideal hero now I do it for fun I like analyzing strengths and weaknesses and making a detailed profile of each hero and villain" he said as he handed the book to Katsuki to read his current profile he complied.
For the rest of the night they talked about his annalistic skills and going over their own strengths and weaknesses before going to be and while they were deep in sleep a certain mist villain who had been monitoring them decided to let himself in and pick up on of these hero volumes and flips through it and as he does so his yellow eyes widen and he closes the book after taking some snap shots on silent with his smart phone before leaving to inform his master what he found.
