Days had passed. 6 to be exact. And now the boys were antsy, waiting for discharge day.
"Riiiiise and Shiiiiiine FOR THE MORNING GRIIIIIND!" Came Sato's voice. All three U.A. boys didn't need the reminder though. They had been up since the sun came out, around 6:50am. They brushed their teeth, neatly in a row, at the sinks, and sat down to breakfast. They did their morning therapy and sometime around noon, they could smell lunch, but that would have to wait. Someone was there for them: It was Tohru.
"Tohru?" Todoroki double glanced as he was walking down the hallway from his room. He heard the voice of her turn around the corner and Midoriya evidently did, too. Bakugo came out of his room, ready to eat.
"What the fuck are you pussies cowering at?" He asked, before he caught wind of Tohru's voice. He laughed SO hard. "And here I thought that Honda bastard would come fetch us."
The three boys knew WHY Tohru was there and so they all slid down the hallway in their reversed-grippy socks and practically crashed into Sato.
"Lunch time, Lunch time, If it gets cold, that's a crime! HEY! WALKING FEET, BOYS!"
They slid up to Tohru, who was on the other side of the nurse's office glass. "Tohru!" Izuku smiled and waved. "Are we leaving today?!"
Tohru nodded and then gave them a stern look. "Will you behave?" She asked.
Shoto and Katsuki nodded with Izuku, and they backed away from the door to let her out. "We need a final weigh in for you, Midoriya. And Bakugo- you didn't receive a clearance on the bloodwork yet for your Lithium levels. But Todoroki- you can potentially come back now to the Institute." She declared, checking final arrangements on a clipboard.
The boys shifted, nervously. They kind of worked as a unit. It was their sense of normalcy. To be split up NOW of all times?!
Tohru saw the anxiety on their faces. "Don't worry. Your school principal asked that we keep you boys together."
The three teens exhaled in relief.
"But-" Tohru began, catching their attention. "You will NOT be in the same rooms- only the same lodge. AND we expect you to make friends."
By that evening, they had their discharge papers and were settled in the lounge, eating dinner on floor 8. That was until Kenji Honda came up.
"Great. It's him." Bakugo nudged Midoriya.
Todoroki shrugged. "HE means potential freedom, so lighten up."
Honda looked at the U.A. boys. "Gentlemen."
"Hello Honda." They muttered back.
Kenji looked over their schedule. "It took longer than it should have. Katsuki, did you get your bloodwork done?" Bakugo held out his elbow that had a bandage wrapped around. "Mm." Honda checked off. "And Izuku- how much more did you weigh?"
"Two kilograms, sir." Midoriya said, looking down.
His friends comforted him, gently, and then they snapped attention back to Kenji when he asked them THE question: "Ready to go now?"
Back at T.T.I., they settled into their rooms within the same lodge. It was stupid movie night again and they weren't allowed to watch anything violent, so they naturally were forced to watch some dumb American movie, subbed in Japanese.
"Ugh- this sounds like Present Mic's class, but for a whole two hours!" Bakugo said, offended by the English language.
Someone else in the room shushed him. Shoto was curled up with Izuku and Katsuki refused wholly to even lean against one of them. Instead, he sat on his bottom, holding onto his pillow, in his pajamas, like the others.
When the movie ended, the other boys, who were some now different from whomever was there a week ago, turned around to look at the U.A. boys.
"Hey! New guys- you can wipe down the cabinets." One boy said, proudly giving orders, as he put the broom away.
"NEW?! I'll give you a new FACE!" Katsuki muttered.
Luckily one boy stepped in and told the cabinet-cleaner-Nazi to play it cool because those were the boys who "ran away."
Bakugo liked this attention.
"Ha!" The first boy laughed. "More like the three that TRIED. Like I said, you three can wipe down the cabinets."
Katsuki growled and stood up, pointing- "you'd better PRAY that we're not rooming together."
Shoto and Izuku didn't care though. "C'mon, Kacchan." Midoriya tried, taking a wipe out of the container, and handing it to his friend. "Let's not get in any more trouble. We'll get our rooming assignments soon."
Honda came into the room as the three turned out the lights and left the viewing room. "I'm tired." The director yawned.
"Whatever." Bakugo grumbled. "Do you have our rooming assignments?"
"Shoto, West Hall. Izuku, East. Katsuki- you're in the single." Honda said.
"Ha! I don't have to deal with a roommate!" Bakugo said.
Honda narrowed his eyes. "Actually, you're in the single on North Hall because you're on modified one-one-one. This means that you can keep your clothes, but you'll be having body checks every few hours and someone, me tonight, will be With. You. At. All. Times."
"Stay calm, Katsuki." Shoto warned. "It's not the worst."
But that didn't matter to Bakugo. He was SO pissed that he was ready to draw blood from Honda.
Honda ignored the teen's anger. "Bakugo, stay with me now. I'm about to announce meds. Todoroki and Midoriya- go line up."
And unhappily, they went to bed: Izuku missing his friends, Shoto shamed he didn't talk his friends out of running away, and Katsuki- feeling poorly for himself.
