Here we go with chapter 20 is here and I'm very happy with how the story is going. A whole lot better than my original version. It wasn't bad, but this one feel so much better. And I've been enjoying writing this version.

I've also been enjoying the Bleach Thousand Years War series and the fight with Squad Zero. In the series, there's 13 Squads. Each one is tasked with their own duties, but all have the same job. To protect the souls of the living and dead from those that try to harm them.

While also maintaining the balance of life and death. And to protect the Soul Society from their enemies.

However, there is another squad, who's been chosen by the Soul King. Basically, the one who created death, the afterlife, the Soul Society, etc. This squad is only composed of five members and no one else. No lieutenants or other squad members. The five chosen are those who not only left a legacy behind for the Soul Society but are also stronger than all the captains combined.

So, seeing them in action and seeing their different abilities, that gave them the positions they have, is a lot of fun to see. I already know how the series is going to end after reading the manga, but I don't care. Still looking forward to it. And to what ideas the series have given me for the series.

Just a shame we have to wait a little longer for the final half of this series to come out. So, we can see how it'll end and how it's leading to a new series.

Now then, last time we saw our heroes getting some help from Isamu, Hikari, and their new ally. How will things go this time with the aftermath? How will our heroes deal with losing, before being saved by their friends? Think they'll be ready for whatever is next?

Read on to find out and thanks to my friend General Herbison for his help on my crossovers. I appreciate it so much and thanks to my friend who's helped me with my Power Rangers story too. I don't own anything from DC or Bleach, just my OCs. Enjoy the chapter everyone and let's begin.

Chapter XX

Jump City

It has been one hell of a night for the Teen Titans. Moreso than the battles they've had previously. This time, they had to deal with Raven's half-brothers. The offspring of Trigon the Terrible, who even Raven didn't know existed.

She knew Trigon had attempted to have other kids to become his portal, but when they failed him, he would kill them off. However, it seems some of them had been spared. Becoming pawns in Trigon's game. Four of them came after Raven and her friends, who couldn't stop them.

Until Isamu, Hikari, and their allies came in to save them. They each defeated Raven's brothers, except for James, the incarnation of the sin of Greed. He managed to escape before he could be killed. But the others weren't so lucky.

During the fight, the Titans explained the different powers the brothers had. One was the incarnation sin of Sloth, the other Wrath, and the third Gluttony. All three used their powers to harm the innocent people of the city, giving them more power than they already had. Thankfully, not enough to kill anyone or even defeat the Soul Reapers.

However, this did concern Raven. If her brothers had been spending their years absorbing the energy from their victims, then after this fight, there's no telling how many more will suffer till they get stronger. Strong enough to defeat Isamu, Hikari, and their Soul Reaper allies. She knew if they were going to win, they were going to need help.

And after most of her friends came back injured badly, she knew they were going to need it soon.

The Titans are seen in the infirmary, where Cyborg, Robin, and Beast Boy are seen resting from their fights. Cyborg had his energy drained from his body, but thankfully it wasn't all of it. Beast Boy had some bruises from his fight, but nothing he couldn't come back from. Robin, however, needed time to rest.

Out of everyone, he took the most serious injury. Getting a hole in his gut and was dead for a minute. If it wasn't for the assistance of the Soul Reaper, Yoruichi Shihōin, he would have remained dead. Despite being resurrected though, he was told he needed time to heal. So, he'll be in bed for at least a day or two.

"Robin, are you well? Do you wish for me to make you something to eat?" Starfire pulls out a bowel filled with a strange purple goo, that was moving. "Perhaps a traditional Tamaranian medicine will help you."

"No!" Robin replied as he got up in his bed, before he begins clearing his throat and replied calmly. "I mean, no thank you, Starfire. I appreciate the offer, but I'll be okay. Really."

Robin knows Starfire means well, but her medication might end up killing him, especially if it's moving around like that. Thankfully, Starfire understood and didn't seem offended Robin said no to her medication.

"Oh, very well then," said Starfire as she turns to Beast Boy and Cyborg with the medication. "Perhaps you two would like some?" she asked while smiling.

Cyborg and Beast Boy looked on like they were terrified on what this thing is. Even more so to ask what she made this from.

"Um I'm good, thanks," said Cyborg as he points to his machine. "I'm almost recharged, so I'll be good to go soon."

Star turns to Beast Boy, who whimpered a little and shook his head nervously. "I-I'm good t-too, Star. Thanks anyways."

Starfire didn't seem to have a problem with her friends not accepting her medication and instead swallowed it all, despite it moving around in her throat before it went down.

"Where is Isamu and Hikari?" Starfire asked as she noticed their two friends hadn't returned yet. "Are they going to join us soon?"

"They are," Robin replied as he looks out the window. "Their mentor, Ronin, is having them help clean up the mess around the city. While working on something to help wipe the memories of the citizens."

"Which you're completely fine with?" Cyborg asked.

Robin wasn't keen on the idea of wiping away the memories of the people, but after what happened, maybe it would be best for them not to remember what happened.

"I'm not a fan of the idea, but I think they have enough to worry about than to find out about Trigon, his sons, and invisible ghost warriors fighting them without them seeing it," said Robin who knew that would be so complicated for them to explain to the police.

"That makes sense," said Beast Boy as he leans down on the bed and rests his head on the pillows. "I can't blame them for finding out about this. I'm still getting used to this myself."

"Same here," said Cyborg as he looks down to see he's still only 80% recharged. He lets out a small sigh as he couldn't believe how much energy he allowed that monster to take from him. "I can't believe how badly we got our asses kicked."

"Yean. And you know what's the worst part? We didn't even leave a scratch on any of them," said Beast Boy who knew they hit these guys with everything they had and still couldn't beat them.

"It's not hard to see why," said Raven as she walks up to her friends. "They're like me. Half-human, but the other half is demonic. That means their power is beyond any of the villains we've gone up against."

"She isn't wrong," said Starfire who knew Raven's brothers were stronger than Slade, Brother Blood, almost all the villains they've ever come against. "But it was a good thing Isamu, Hikari, and their friends came to help us. If it wasn't for them…"

"That's not the point, Star," said Robin as he spoke up next, getting the attention of the others. "Yes, I'm grateful for their help and we owe them for stopping Raven's brothers. But this is our fight too…" Robin's fists begin to clench out of anger and frustration. "We should be doing more than just being thrown around like ragdolls and just be spectators. We should be getting involved."

"Robin's right," said Cyborg as he looks away from his charger and looks up at the ceiling. "This is our city. We can't continue to sit by and watch from the sidelines, while innocent people get hurt. We should help."

"Dude, I feel for ya. I do, but you saw what happened," said Beast Boy who knew they were at their limits. "I want to help too. Believe me, but how are we going to be able to take down guys who are a lot stronger than us?"

"We'll find a way," said Starfire who refuses to give in despite what happened. "We'll find a way to get stronger and help join in the fight. Somehow."

Raven turns to her friends and knows they were all bummed out. She never wanted them to get involved in the fight. She's been wanting to keep them out of it for this very reason. Yes, with Isamu, Hikari, and their friends helping them, they have a chance.

A chance that's giving Raven hope that they'll stop her father. But she didn't want it at the expense of her friends' dying. She knew in the state they're in, they have no chance at winning in the next fight. Somehow, they have to get stronger.

Fortunately for them, there is a way to do that.

Raven sighed and decided to bring up what she was told. "There might be a way to make that happen."

The Titans all turn to their friend, looking confused by what she means. Raven felt a little nervous about bringing this up, but she knew if it'd help her friends, then fine.

"So, remember when I mentioned Isamu and Hikari's mentor…sorry, one of their mentors came to help us out?" Raven asked.

"Sure, big, tall, old looking, and wore an outfit like he's from an old black and white movie?" Beast Boy asked, getting a smack from Cyborg for being rude.

Raven cleared her throat and continued. "Anyways, remember when he mentioned why he came to see us?"

"I was coming in and out of consciousness since we got back. So, not really," said Robin who remembers bits and pieces of what he was told. "Lady Yoruichi didn't bother repeating what she said, so she told me to wait till I was all better."

"Well, they came because they had gotten word of the arrival of my brothers. It turns out they've been keeping an eye on the cult of my father," said Raven as she recalls what they were told.

How her father's clan had been spied on by members of the Soul Society and how they've been monitoring their movements. Even began destroying any that were preparing some sort of large massacre in a town, city, or across seas. They even knew about her brothers and have been trying to hunt them down to kill them. They've managed to take down many Trigon's children, except for the six that escaped.

"After Slade escaped, the Soul Society suspected that Trigon would send his children to try and force me to become the portal. And it seems their goal was to try eliminating the only ones that stand in his way," said Raven.

"Isamu and Hikari," said Robin suspecting that's who Trigon fears. "I still can't believe he's afraid of their power this much."

"Not their power. Just that their presence is preventing him from achieving his goal," said Raven who knew the goal is to break her down and force her to give in. "I doubt Isamu and Hikari have the power to stop my father. However, they seem to have enough power to stop my brothers and Slade."

The Titans knew this was true. They saw how much damage Isamu gave to Slade when they fought. Cyborg and Beast Boy even saw the power Hikari possessed, showing how strong she is. If this is the kind of power that is keeping Trigon from being freed, then they can see why he wants to take them down. He's going to throw everything at the wall to ensure his plan works.

"I'm surprise with what's going on, the Soul Society don't send more of their own to help us out," said Beast Boy who feels they're overwhelmed with what's going on.

"I mean, the fact that Isamu and Hikari's mentor is here. Along with a former Soul Reaper Captain and her student, I think I'm liking our chances already," said Cyborg who would feel much better if more Soul Reapers came over.

"Well, there's another reason why they came here," said Raven as she continues where she left off. "With the amount of spiritual pressure being released by my brothers, the Soul Society felt the citizens around here are in danger. So, to lessen the threat level, Ronin is setting up these devices that'll isolate our fights and protect the people. He's also planning to set up some funds to fix any damages caused from the fights and wipe any memories of anyone who sees it."

With the amount of fighting going on and how many people came close to death, Raven was told that many humans in the city will end up having their spiritual pressures increased. Allowing them to see the spirits around the city. That includes the Hollows and Soul Reapers as well.

"I mean, that's not a bad thing to have," said Starfire who knew at least this means their friends won't have to fight outside their human bodies. "And we won't have to worry about property damages while fighting Trigon's minions."

"Good thing too. We were kind of stretching how much we were spending on the last few fights," said Robin who knew the money they've been getting was getting to its limit. "I have to assume though they're offering more than that, right?"

Raven sighed softly and nods as she begins explaining what they're here to do. "Yoruichi offered to train us."

The Titans all fell silent with what Raven just said, since they were in shock. Not only is one of the people who trained their friends and a former captain of the Soul Society, is here to train them. Isamu and Hikari were training them, but only on how to hold their own against a Hollow. While also sensing spiritual pressure, so they know who or what they're up against.

"What else can they teach us?" Robin asked when the doors slide open and they see their friend, Isamu, in his civilian outfit waiting for them.

"How about you all follow me, and we'll show you what we have set up for you guys," said Isamu as the others, except for Raven, look confused on what their friend means by them.

The team all soon head towards the elevator before they begin heading down. They went past the entrance, the garage, basement, and where they keep the T-Ship. The Titans looked confused since they knew the elevator didn't go any further than that. Not even the cavern below the tower, which Slade was using to try sinking their home.

Thanks to Raven and Terra, they were able to stop it. While also caving in the area to keep Slade or anyone else from trying to do this again.

Once the elevator stops, they soon found themselves in what looks to be the outside. Yet it was underground, it was sunny, with clear skies, and with a rocky terrain. The Titans look on in awe and in confusion. Wondering how this was even possible and how their friends did this.

"Whaaaaaaaaat? H-How did? Where did? Huh?!" Beast Boy was completely flabbergasted with what he's seeing.

"How is this possible?" Cyborg tries using his robotic left eye to try scanning the area, but the scanners couldn't make out what he was seeing. "Is this for real?"

"It's real all right," the Titans look over and see an elderly man around his 60s, looks Asian, with long gray hair, gray eyes, tan skin, and a small beard. The man wore a trench coat and hat, while carrying a cane in his right gloved hand. "And you can thank yours truly for putting this together."

"Ronin," said Raven as she saw Isamu and Hikari's teacher standing here.

"Hold up, that's Ronin?" Robin asked as he recalls what Raven told them about meeting Isamu and Hikari's mentor, well, one of them at least. "You did all this? How? When? We weren't up in the infirmary for that long."

Ronin chuckled softly as he lifts the cane up. "I had a little help," as soon as the cane came down, what appeared to be hundreds of dark figures appeared all around the Titans. "Don't be scared. These are Mod Souls. Artificial humans' souls that were made to inhabit the Gigai that we Soul Reapers use when we visit the World of the Living."

Ronin explains that when Soul Reapers are on patrol or need to blend in with humans, they wear these bodies that are basically vacant. They're blank slates that only take on the form of the user when the user enters the vacant body. Allowing a Soul Reaper to move around and interact with other humans. However, this means they won't be able to use their Soul Reaper powers such as drawing their Zanpakutō.

They can still use Kido, but the Gigai they use will keep them from using their full power. So, to help with this, they're given these Soul Candy, which has an artificial soul inside. Once a Soul Reaper swallows one, this will cause the Soul Reaper to become separated from their Gigai. Allowing them to use their powers, while the artificial soul candy will take the place of the Soul Reaper in the Gigai to keep the body safe from harm.

"These Mod Souls were created by a friend of mine before she departed. They do whatever the user wants them to do, and they'll act on it," said Ronin as he lifts his cane up to the sky before revealing what they did. "And what I had them do is create all of this! Your very own training area where you can go all out without anyone sensing your presence and disturbing your training!"

The Titans all stood in awe at what they were just told. Not just the fact Ronin had these modified souls with him and that they build this entire area in such a fast time. But the fact that they did this to train them all. To help them in their goal of getting stronger.

"So?" Ronin begins lowering his cane down to the ground and smiles at the young heroes. "What do you think? Pretty cool, huh?"

"Dude," Beast Boy is the first to speak up. "Are you kidding me? This…is…awesome!"

"Awesome isn't the right word to use for this situation," said Cyborg as he looks around at this place and is amazed with how it turned out. "This is beyond awesome. I can't believe you all did this."

Starfire and Raven walk up to the Mod Souls, curious if they have any emotions or are just drones.

"And you did this with these modified souls?" Raven asked who didn't expect this to be how Ronin would make their training facility.

"I wonder if they can talk or…" one of the Mod Souls took a step forward when Starfire tried poking it, causing the two girls to back away and let out an 'eep' sound.

"Careful there, girls," spoke another voice as a dark-skinned woman walks from behind Ronin and begins to speak up. "They're not toys for you all to mess with. They will defend themselves if they need to."

"Lady Yoruichi!" said Starfire who was excited to see the one who saved Robin's life.

"Hello there, Starfire," said Yoruichi as she greets the redheaded alien girl, before seeing Robin. "And you must be Robin."

Robin blinked for a moment before suddenly seeing Yoruichi is gone. Leaving him confused on where she went, until he felt his mask being pulled off from behind causing him to cover his eyes.

"I'm glad to see you're doing much better now. I'm glad the medication worked on you," said Yoruichi as she appeared behind Robin, holding his mask.

"T-Thank you? Um c-can I have my mask back?" Robin asked as Yoruichi hands it back to him, before he puts it back on. "How did you do that? Was that teleportation?"

"No, silly. That was Flash Step," said Yoruichi as she explained what this move was. "It's also known by another name called Hoho or Shunpo. It's a technique that allows the user to increase their speed and agility. Making it seem like teleportation, but in reality, the user is actually moving at a rapid speed that makes it hard for the eye to follow."

"It's a technique that Lady Yoruichi is a master of. Hence why she's also known as the 'Flash Goddess'," said Isamu who also explains its Yoruichi who taught him and his sister how to use this move.

"Is that right?" Starfire asked who was amazed to see it in action, even if she couldn't follow it. "That is amazing."

"Thank you," said Yoruichi who was happy to accept the compliments.

Robin has to admit, this was a technique that could come in handy, especially in times like these. "Any way you can teach us how to use it?"

Yoruichi moves her right hand over her chin and begins thinking about it. "Well, to be honest? It's possible, although I never bothered trying to teach it to anyone other than Ichigo."

"But that's why we're here," said Ronin as he tapped his cane on the ground to get their attention. "We saw how you all held your own against Slade and Raven's siblings. You all have potential, but at the rate you're in your nowhere near the level needed to beat them. Let alone cause any sort of real damage. My original plan was to have Isamu and Hikari handle the heavy lifting, but given what has occurred, that's no longer an option."

Ronin looks up at the fake sky and continues. "Hell, that's why I had this place set up. I knew you all would want to get stronger somehow, but I know my students aren't the best teachers to do this. So, I asked my lovely assistant Lady Yoruichi to stop by and help us out."

Yoruichi moves her arms over her chest and crosses them. "I normally would have said no, but given what we're up against, I decided to make an exception."

However, Yoruichi did give them all a fair bit of warning. "Keep this in mind though, I'm not going to go easy on any of you. I'm going to push you all to your limits and you're going to need you all to step up. If you can't handle it and you want to quit, then go right ahead. I know you won't like this kind of training you'll have to go through, but trust me when I say, once you get through it, you'll achieve a power like no other."

"And you won't be doing it alone," said Ronin as he also volunteers to help around. "I decided to extend my stay a little longer. So, I'll provide some of the work in whipping your kids into shape. Just don't go crying to Isamu and Hikari to back you up. These two have to endure the difficult training you all are going to go through since they were eight years old."

"S-Since they were right?" Beast Boy asked while the others looked on shocked by this, even Raven didn't know this.

"That's right," said Ronin as he begins pointing up to the ceiling. "Also don't worry. This whole place is protected by a powerful seal. Trigon won't be able to sense where Raven is at and that includes the rest of you."

"You all will be staying down here for the time being so you can train and so we can prevent Trigon from finding out what's going on," said Yoruichi as she snapped her fingers and soon a small house appeared behind her. "And you'll be sleeping here when training is done."

"Wait, hold on," said Robin who didn't bother questioning how or where that house came from. "We appreciate you both coming down to train us, but what about the city? There're still criminals we have to go up against and after what happened there's no doubt the ones that left will come back to…"

Ronin appears behind Robin and places his large hands on the boy's head, before lifting him up, causing Robin to turn pale from this. "I said we've got this taken care of. So, please. Do not question us as if we didn't think of everything, bird boy. Got it?"

"Y-Yes sir. I got it," said Robin as he didn't bother fighting back against the much taller and more intimidating tall Soul Reaper.

"Good boy," said Ronin as he sets Robin down and pats his head, while laughing.

Starfire goes to check on Robin, while Isamu chuckled a little. "Don't worry, Robin. Hikari, our friend, and I will keep an eye on things. If anything happens, we'll be there to stop it."

"Your friend?" Raven asked who didn't know there was another friend of theirs around here.

"She's up with Hikari setting up some extra layers of protection for the tower," said Yoruichi as she points out where Hikari has been. "So, don't worry about it. They'll there to protect your home, while you're down here, training."

"Isamu? You're not going to train with us?" Cyborg asked.

"Nah. I'm all good. I did offer to help with the training, but Lady Yoruichi and Master Ronin told me you'll will have some extra hands," said Isamu who knew he was needed elsewhere.

"Like the creepy Mod Soul guys?" Beast Boy points towards the Mod Souls who stood on the sideline, creeping Beast Boy out.

"Nope," Ronin replied. "You'll be getting some training from the Soul Society."

"The Soul Society?" Raven asked who's shocked to hear that more Soul Reapers will be joining them. "I guess it makes sense they'll be coming by to help us. They are protecting the whole world from Hollows."

"Oh, we're not talking about the Soul Society to the west, we're referring to the Soul Society to the east, as in all of America. From the north all the way down to the south of this continent," said Yoruichi as she reveals there's more than one Soul Society to the very shocked Teen Titans.

"Wait, what?!" the five Titans all asked at once in unison.

Meanwhile

Deep below the abandoned library, lies the temple of Trigon. Once build by his followers, who foretold of their master's arrival to this realm. They were told a child of Trigon would become the portal that would bring their master to their world and unleash his evil across the universe. However, they did not foresee it would take as much time as it did and would involve many children to be spawned by their master.

But after centuries of waiting, their efforts had finally paid off. The young girl, Raven, was born. Mother to Arella, a human woman who was brought by a follower of Trigon and was used to give birth to the one that would become the portal. The one that would help free their master from his prison and allow him to continue his conquest once again.

Slade, Trigon's herald, delivered the message to Raven. Ensured she understands her purpose and what she would be destined to become. But then the Soul Reapers arrived. Interfering with their affairs, resulting in Trigon to resort to summoning his children.

The six who he spared and would use as his pawns. He tasked the oldest, James to lead his brothers to take care of these Soul Reapers and make sure their sister does not stray from her path.

However, James returned to the hideout, alone. He didn't have his brothers Jared, Jack, and Jim with him. Showing that he had failed in his mission to rid them of the Soul Reapers. And appears to have failed to ensure Raven will remain their portal.

James walks into the large room, with the giant stoned hand sticking out from the ground. He walks over and sees the half-crescent moon before he hears some footsteps.

"Hmm ~ Well, dear brother, it seems you actually failed at your mission," spoke a young man wearing a blue jumpsuit that showed off his figure, pale skin, red eyes, short black hair with a long ponytail in the back, and gloves. "I never thought I would see the day that you, our beloved, smartest, and strongest older brother would actually fail at his mission. Hmm ~ Well, I guess even the best of us can fail, and fail hard ~."

"And here he used to chastise us when we fuck up," spoke another young man who appeared to be skinny with long black hair, red eyes, pale skin, orange t-shirt, brown pants, and no shoes. "I guess eventually the golden child would screw up and be a loser like the rest of us."

"Oh no need to be so harsh, brother," said the first young man as he tries defending James. "I'm sure he's been through so much. After all, it's not often we lose so many of our siblings in such a harsh and hard way~"

James simply smiled and began to laugh, which annoyed and confused the two young men. Who didn't see anything funny in what they said. Maybe it would be funny if James didn't laugh at them. But since he is, then it's no longer seen as funny.

"Something funny about what we said, James?" the first young man asked.

"I find it funny, that you two believe I failed at my mission, which wasn't to kill our enemies. But rather determine the level of power they possess," said James as he explains his actions. "Something that one-eyed moron failed to do during his fight. I on the other hand, succeeded."

"Succeeded?!" the second young man shouted in anger. "You killed Jared, while letting Jack and Jim die at the hands of those Soul Reapers! Who gives a fuck about how strong they are?! If you had just called us in, we would have killed them all together."

"He's not wrong," said the first young man as he runs his right hand along his soft short hair. "If you simply let us tag along, we would have had a better chance at succeeding. But now? Because of you, they know about us. Meaning they'll be more prepared."

"Not unless we kill them now," said the second young man as he explains his plan. "The heroes of those Soul Reapers had been weakened. I say we storm the tower, kill the heroes, cause the Soul Reapers to lose their focus, and then we kill them. It's perfect."

"Perfect?" James asked as he turns to the second young man and brings his cane down. "As usual, you come up with the dumbest ideas that'll end up in failure. Did it ever occur to you that the Soul Reapers will sense our presence the moment we even get close to the tower? And considering neither one of you are good at this, it'll end up with you two being killed before you get close to the heroes."

The second young man grabs James by the jacket and begins pulling him off the ground. "Listen here, James! I'm done listening to you! I'm done listening to someone who thinks it is just because he was the first-born of our father that you can boss us around?! No way in *Gasp*…"

Suddenly James drove his knee into the second young man's groin, causing him to loosen his grip. James grabs his hand and takes it off. "Careful, Jesse, this suit costs more than your own miserable life."

The first young man soon appears behind James and goes to punch him. Only for James to vanish, causing the punch to hit the second young man, Jesse in the face. Sending him flying across the ground to the wall. James soon appears behind the first young man, who didn't even notice.

"And father didn't have me lead because I'm the oldest, smartest, or the strongest, Jacob" the first young man, Jacob, turns around but James hits him with a palm thrust into his chest, sending him flying towards the wall with Jesse. "It's because unlike you idiots, I'm a planner."

Jesse and Jacob begin coughing loudly as they struggled to get back to their feet.

"C-Cheap sh-ot. You bastard," said Jesse as he still felt pain in his groin.

"I don't do cheap, brother. Father had me go into business because I understand human greed," said James as he explained his purpose within the group. "I studied them, learn about their patterns, how they act, their desires, and how easily I can use it to manipulate them. It's how I ended up owning hundreds of businesses across the world. Using it all to continue corrupting more humans and using them to pave the way for father's rise in power. By using them to keep more of these foul heroes from getting in our way and ensuring we succeed in our goal."

Jacob got to his knees as he coughed softly to get some air back in his lungs. "Y-ou know. It does make a lot of sense when you say that out loud."

"Exactly. And unlike the rest of you, I haven't been abusing my powers to do whatever I want," James begins bringing up the faults of his other brothers. "Jared and Jim's anger kept getting in their way. This caused me to waste more of our resources to keep them hidden from the rest of the heroes. While Jack, well his laziness was a problem when he began absorbing other humans of their energy and causing accidents."

James then begins pointing to his two brothers before him. "Jacob, your incantational appetite for women and men has become an issue for me to fix, due to how you leave them nearly dried…" Jacob tries to speak up, but James cuts him off. "And not that you, you are fucking pervert."

Jacob let out a huff, crossed his arms, and moved his head up. "Not my fault they didn't like it rough. Hmm ~ I know I did."

"Anyways," said James as he shuddered in disgust from what his brother said, before turning to Jesse. "And you, the one who did everything he could to try proving himself to our father. By nearly alerting our enemies to our presence, the number of bodies I had to bury, and the amount of money I wasted to keep word from getting out. All because you wanted to prove you were better than me."

"I am better than…" suddenly James' sword came down next to Jesse's head as he felt the heat coming from the blade.

"No, no you're not," said James as his glowing red eyes narrowed down at his brother. "You're a little child who needs to learn his place and stop fucking things up for the rest of us."

Jesse scowled at his brother, but he knew he wasn't strong enough to beat him. Despite believing earlier that he was.

They soon heard someone clapping their hands, causing the brothers to look over and see its Slade. The one-eyed herald of their father is seen leaning against the stone hand, clapping slowly.

"It's nice to see you brothers working out any issues you have with one another. It's really touching, no joke, brother," said Slade as he turned his face towards the trio. "But what the young half-demon said is true. You did fail at killing your targets, James. A task I was told you would be able to handle without any problems. And yet here you are, all alone with three of your siblings, dead."

James scoffed as he pulled his sword back and moves it back in the cane. "I didn't see you do any better, Slade."

"Ah but see, I wasn't aware we were dealing with Soul Reapers when I first fought the boy," said Slade as he walks over, with his arms behind his back. "Still, we're not here to talk about me. We're here to talk about your failure, which you claim wasn't a failure, but a success."

"Exactly," said James who stands by what he said.

Slade chuckled softly before moving his right hand out to the stone hand. "Then you best explain this to your father then."

James turns to where Slade is pointing at before a fire begins appearing from the ground. Soon they begin taking the form of a portal with a four-eyed demon appearing on the other side. James, Slade, Jesse, and Jacob all kneeled in front of the portal as the demon, Trigon, began to speak.

"You have returned to me, my son. Alone it seems," said Trigon as he spoke to James directly, not angered by what he sees. "You were unsuccessful in your mission. How disappointing."

"My intention wasn't to kill the boy or his comrades, father. My intention was to learn," said James as he hopes his father will listen to what he has to say.

Trigon was silent for a moment. A moment that Jesse hopes for means his father will not let James be given his chance to speak.

But Trigon did indeed allow his son to explain himself. "And what did you learn?"

"I learned that these Soul Reapers possess more power than we originally anticipated," James begins to explain as he shows with his dark magic, how the fights all went. "Their power is far different than the heroes of this realm. They seem to have the ability to increase their strength in a way that makes them more dangerous to our kind. Even when your children went all out, their power was nowhere near their level."

Trigon watched the fights before him and sees exactly what James is referring to.

"Even if I brought Jesse and Jacob with us, I fear the result would have been the same," said James who didn't doubt the odds of them winning was slim to none. "However, I may have a solution on how to deal with them."

"Go on," said Trigon who's intrigued with what his son is up to.

"During my travels, I paid a visit to Japan a few years ago. It was during this time that I witnessed the Soul Society, battling against three of their former allies and their army," said James as he recalls the battle between the Soul Reapers and the power that was unleashed. "During the battle, the Soul Reapers managed to kill much of this army, who I felt could be of use to us had they not been destroyed. However, I learned something else, when their bodies are destroyed their souls go to only one place…"

James then begins pointing towards Slade. "The same place you found him."

Trigon's eyes begin to widen as he sees where his son is going with this and is aware of the army that fought the Soul Society.

"And you believe I will be able to find these souls? Use them to assist us in destroying the Soul Reapers?" Trigon asked.

"While these Soul Reapers are strong, I doubt they're enough against the sort of power I witnessed from these creatures," said James as he reassures his father his plan will work. "And it isn't just their enemies that reside in Hell. I'm aware that some of their own fallen reside there too. Those with extraordinary high spiritual pressure, have no chance of being reincarnated."

Trigon knew this idea could benefit him extremely. He knew those souls would refuse his deal, but it didn't mean he didn't know how to control their very souls and bend them to his will.

"Very well, then. I will seek out the strongest ones I can find and bring them to you. But remember, you must help make sure Raven becomes the portal. If you fail, then I will make sure you all suffer greatly for this."

"Of course, father. We won't fail you and we will finish what we started," said James as he intends to make sure their plan succeeds. "Raven will become your portal. You will reign over this world and no one, not even the Soul Reapers, will stop that from happening."

Uh oh, it looks like James had a plan after all, huh? It also looks like he's found a solution in defeating Isamu, Hikari, and their allies. Will it be enough? Will our heroes get stronger before the enemy mount their attack?

Also, another group of Soul Reapers in America? Yes, yes there is. At least in my story. I always kept wondering how far the Soul Society's reach is when it comes to protecting the souls of the dead.

We do see they do seem to have access to areas outside of Japan, but rarely even see them go there. Much less even get anyone from those areas that you could see came from Europe, America, etc. But how would it all look? And would it look different than the Soul Society from Bleach?

In time, you'll see. I've been working on this for some time and I'm getting ready to reveal it. By the next chapter, it should be ready. And with how I've been getting on a role with this story again, it will be soon.

Anyways, how will things go for our heroes and their training? Who will show up from the Soul Society of America? Who is James going to get his dad to bring in? And will our heroes stand a chance against them?

Tune in next time to find out. Also, thanks to those who left reviews from the last chapter and have subscribed to the story. I appreciate it and I will work to continue where I left off with this story. And will have it go the way I now want it to go.

Please leave some reviews and let me know what you all thought. Just nothing negative please. Also, thanks to my friends for their help and support. I appreciate it and see you all next time, bye.
