CH 6
By that time the engines almost blown up by the time they landed. They all got off and followed jack and Sam into the village where they were greeted by others there. Ista wanted to check on the four girls so Sam took her to see them.
"Janet how are the girls?"
"They are going to be fine, thanks to Jan"
"What do you mean, you found symboites for them?"
"No there is some plants on this planet that only Jan know which ones, mix them together and give them to any jaffa or young children and they can live a normal life with out a symboite, there are jaffa here who lives normal life with out a symboite"
"Thank you this is wonderful news, is there enough for all the young ones to have now or do they have to wait?" Janet smile
"Now they can have it now so they won't be sick later on"
"Thank you, can I speck to them?"
"You can later come on let go and get some lunch, they will be awake in couple of hours" they all walked back out side to where the others were.
The women of the village showed up with plates and bowls full of food for every one including the ones that arrived in the village. They all sat down at picnic tables and started eating and talking for the next two hours. George was sitting on jack lap eating a piece of fruit.
Two hours later Ista was sitting between two beds when the girls woke up. She was please that they don't need symboites to rely on, they were all hungry and thirsty, at that time Sam, Janet and Teal'c show up with plate of chop up fruit and cups of water for the girls. Janet check them over before her and Sam left Teal'c to talk to Ista and the girls.
Over the next month have been full of surprises for every one. Kate, Sam and Janet are pregnant which made their mates happy so jack made sure that they take things easy for a while. Ista and Teal'c were becoming close which has been notice by every one that knows them and is happy for them after what they have been through in the past.
New homes were starting being built by the men including the six new jaffa while the women took care of every thing else like they use to do. They even made another mini cargo ship. Sam and Daniel still teach the young ones reading and writing few hours in the morning and in the afternoon they were all had self defence training with Ista, Teal'c, Bra'tac and two other jaffa. One night Sam and Jack were looking up in the sky, they could see the ring that is around the planet.
"Jack"
"Yes Sam" she was sitting between his legs leaning against him
"Do you miss earth"
"Yes, you?"
"Yes, I wounder if they will every find us?"
"Well dad did say that there is tok'ra on Baal ship, they could have gotten word out about what has happen to us"
"Who knows after all it been almost two years Jack"
"True I was thinking about using one of the gilders and go and see how big this place is" Sam turn in his arms the best she could at four and half months pregnant
"When?"
"Tomorrow, I'll take dad with me"
"Ok so long as you both take a zat with you"
"We will, I promise" he gives her a kiss then snuggled into one another arms for the next hour before going to bed that night.
The next morning Jack spoke to Jacob about checking the area out which he agrees to, so they both left after breakfast and headed down stream. They were flying for four hours when they saw the see for the first time and there was a beach, so the land the glider and got out so they could stretch their legs.
"This place must be big Jack"
"Yeah, hey is that what I think it is?" they walk over to a tree and look up and smile
"Yes it is, there must be at lest thirty plus trees here and look at the size of the coconuts and bananas" they were twice big as normal size earth fruit, they look around for an hour before they decided to head back home.
"Hey we should take some of this back" jacks said
"Where are we going to put it?"
"Good point, why don't we take a sample back for starts"
"Good idea, but who going to climb the trees?"
"Use the glider, you can drive it and I'll be on the wing"
"Ok lets do it and head back home"
They went back to the glider, and both got in and started up the engines, Jacob did the driving. He flew the glider close to the coconuts with Jack sitting on the wing. Soon as they were close enough, Jack stood up and used his knife to cut the coconuts and let then fall on to the soft sand then Jacob moved the glider over to the bananas and cut a bunch down then he sat down with the bunch on his lap.
Jacob moved and sat the glider on the ground and the canape open up. Jack got up and put the fruit behind his seat then he went to pick up the four coconuts and went back to the glider and got in then the canape close and Jacob drive back to their village. When they return Sam and George greet them soon as they landed.
"Hey guest what we found" Jack asked as they walk over to the glider
"What?"
"This" he lifted a coconut and Sam eyes widen
"On my god is that?"
"Yep" Jacob got out first so jack could pass him the coconuts then he got out him self then turned around to pick up the bananas and turn around to see sam smiling at him
"Bananas?"
"Yep, this is just a sample"
They walk back to the village with George on jack shoulder while he was carrying the bananas and Sam next to him. When they arrived in the center, every one started showing up when word got around that they have return. Jack peal a banana and chop a piece and gave it to Jacob first to try it, when he did, he smile
"That was the best banana I have ever had"
"So it safe?"
"Yep"
Jack and Jacob chop a piece of banana got every one to try; every one loved it including the kids. Over the next two weeks Jack, Teal'c, Jacob and Bra'tac flew down stream to the sea and land the gliders use them to get to the fruit for the time being while Sam and the women in the village make up four big nets out of vines. Every one loved the eating the fruit.
Month later Jack and Bra'tac flew up the river to see what there. When they reach the beach, they could see another island, so they flew there to check it out. Once they check the island out they notice that was a city in the middle of the island, so they found a place to land and went to check out the area. They removed a crystal so the glider wouldn't fly, then they check out the area.
"It look like no one been here for many generations"
"Yeah, I wounder what happen to every one"
"Let check this building out" they walk in and look around, there was books every where, Jack notice a book that was open he blew on to it.
"This looks like a journal, I recognise the writing, it ancient"
"Do you know what is says?"
"No but Daniel under stands the writing, come on let's head back"
Jack close the book and pick it up before they head back to the gliders when they stop when they saw a women standing infront of the gliders.
"Who are you" Jack asked,
"Why are you here?"
"Just checking out this place, you"
"I use to live here once"
"What happen?" Jack asked
"Aliens with glowing eyes came and kill me any my people, I'm here to protect what belongs to my people"
"You're an ancient"
"Yes, how do you know"
"We meet one of your kind before Oma Desala"
"Yes I know her and Daniel Jackson" Jack raised an eye brow
"You know Daniel?"
"Yes, he talks about you jack O'Neill, yes I know who you are and Bra'tac"
"So are you here to warn us about what?"
"You must go and save your people and the villages you brought with you"
"Why?"
"They are in danger, bring them here where they are safe"
"What about the tok'ra?"
"They can come to"
"But it going to take weeks to get them all here and where are we going to put all the symboites?"
"Follow me"
"I hope you don't get into trouble for warning us"
"No I was sent here to warn you"
"Oh ok" they followed her into a building and down some stairs till they reach door, she put her hand on the palm print and the door open they step ford
"Holly crap" In front of them is a ship which was bigger that the Promethis.
"This way" they followed her till they reach the ship and walk in and up to the bridge.
"Dose it fly?"
"Yes, only you can fly it"
"Why me?" jack asked,
"Cause you are one of us"
"Ancient"
"Yes, you must go now"
"Ok where can we put they symboites?"
"Follow me Bra'tac" Jack surge his shoulders.
"Remember use your mind jack" she said walking out of the room with Bra'tac behind her. Jack walked to the seat and sat down as every thing light up
"Ok think, engine on" then he heard the engines start up
"Ok good start, open roof" then the roof open up then Jack put his hands on to the two-gel pack and through what to do next.
Then the ship lifted off and was air born, village" he said then the ship flew to the village, when they arrived there few minutes later, every one on the ground wondering what was going on. Jack heard Bra'tac says over the intercom
"O'Neill I'll tell the others what is going on, I'll be back soon" then Bra'tac ring down to the surface.
"Bra'tac what going on, where Jack?"
"O'Neill is flying the ship, get every one together, we are in danger"
"What do you mean?"
"We haven't got much time, gather every thing and I'll have you ring up, trust me"
"Yes of corse" Sam started spreading the word.
Bra'tac got Teal'c to contact the tok'ra and to tell them to gather many symboites they can and told them where they should meet and wait, then Teal'c left in a glider to go and speck to the tok'ra. Lots of people showed up with their belonging Bra'tac put them into groups with Janet and her son, he told her what to do and push a button. They were ring up and moved out of the way.
Bra'tac got one of the major to take over while he ring up with the next group, then he show them where they could stay till such time. Then others arrived once he got them sorted out he ring back down and went to collect his own things then he return to pass his things to Ry'ac before he was ring up. Then Bra'tac went to help Sam and some of the others.
"Bra'tac what going on?"
"If we stay here we will be in danger"
"What about the other villages?"
"Samantha" Sam turn around
"Who are you"
"This is the women who spoke to us, she is an ancient"
"Oh so what going on?"
"The beasts is coming, they come one in five of earth years to feed, the other villages are going to use you all as there food supply and now they know about the tok'ra, they would use some of them to"
"Couldn't you kill them?"
"They are to big and to many of them"
"Ok, thanks for telling us, how long before it is safe to return?"
"They feed for twenty four earth hours and then they bred the go into as you call is hybonation then waken and give birth and feed and mate then they do it all over again"
"That is horrible"
"That why you must hurry they will be coming out tonight"
"What happen if jack and Bra'tac didn't show up when they did"
"I would of come here"
"Ok, thank you, but why us?"
"Cause of what you believe in"
"Believe in?"
"Freedom" Bra'tac said,
"Yes, you must go" then she went glowy and left the house.
Bra'tac help Sam pack every thing up and carry it to the rings where every one is being transported up to the ship. When Teal'c return, Sam asked him to get all the glider staff weapons. Once every one was on the ship, Bra'tac show sam where Jack is, then left them alone.
"Hey are you ok"
"Yeah just concentrate on what you are going Jack"
"Ok"
Then the ship moved over to where the tok'ra is and start beaming them up with bins with handles on them full of symboites till the ship is full. Teal'c and four SG teams went down to help the one gather up all the symboites while Jack take the ship back to the city. Once landed the engine shut off. Jacob was with him at the time.
"How are you feeling jack?"
"Tired"
"Ok you rest here while every one get off"
"Thanks, hey if you see Daniel give him this" Jack passed him the journal.
"What is it?"
"Journal I found it if written in ancient"
"Sure, just rest" then he let jack sit back and close his eyes and rest. Bra'tac showed every one which was to go. When they reach the surface, they all look around when the women showed up.
"Follow me" she said they all followed her into one of the big buildings
"You can rest here" then she walk up to the tok'ra
"Follow me" they followed her to another building where there was twelve empty swimming pools, they were forty meter long, twenty meters wide and five meters deep.
"You can put them in here"
"Thank you but first we would need to clean it out"
"We can help you" Ry'ac said, they turn around to see thirty people there
"Thank you"
"Lets get started"
They all work together to clean the first pool, they use the seawater to clean the pool out, luckily there was a drain in at one corner. Sam was able to work the controls that was able to open and close the drain and also found the one that pump seawater into the pool.
The ones who volunteered to help clean the dirty pool all got in with there brushes and bucket just as Sam was able to turn the pumps on and then water started coming through a hole and into the pool. Soon as their buckets were full of water the moved so the next person can do the same, then they would go to and area and start scrubbing.
