Chapter III:
Worth
"Why are you here?"
Crimson eyes looked with barely hidden curiousity into one of the many dark alleys of Konoha. It was long past sunset and not many people were still on the streets, just some drunkards, prostitues and Shinobi. It suited the blond, he liked to take walks under the moonlit sky, it helped him relax and think things through. Never did he expect to find her here, especially not today of all days.
"It's good to see you, too, Naruto,"
Blue, almost gray eyes stared at him with fondness? That's certainly not the emotion he assumed she would feel, but it was better than hate or anger. She still wore the same simple white tunic, still walking barefoot.
"You ougth to get yourself some footwear, Mito,"
"Maybe, but I like to be close to nature,"
"Hm, then a big city like Konoha shouldn't be your favorite vacation spot," She smiled soflty, looking at the almost empty streets with those fond eyes. There was something in them that made the blond narrow his eyes. There was too much kindness in them, no human should be so kind, so good-hearted, it seemed unnatural, almost fake or artificial.
"Queit the opposite, I also love humans, the way they laugh, the way they argue, the way they love, the way they hate. Sometimes I ask myself, if I had to choose between nature and humanity, which would I pick? Ah, sadly I don't have the answer to that yet,"
"Then you are a fool. Humanity is cruel, wicked and unforgiving. Few are worth the kindness you would show all of them, few would hesitate to stab you in the back. There you have it, the answer to your dilema,"
Mito hummed soflty and looked at the starry sky. How beautiful was the cloudless sky tonight. She loved to watch the stars, they reminded her that she was small, insignifant, like all humans and that gave her resolve to stand with them, to stay on their side and be one with them. To help them through hardships and dangers, that's something she wished to do for as long as she could.
"That's true, human's can be evil, yet they can also be good. If I were bleeding out, on the verge of death, nature would simply observe and wait for me to die, but not humans. No, they would help me, because humans are not indifferent, they are emotional, unlike nature and it's their greatest strenght,"
"And weakness,"
She turned to him, smiled and shook her head slightly.
"Tell me," She suddenly started, her face becoming serious, yet still somehow gentle. How did that work, the blond had no idea. "Did you feel it, the difference in the sky, in the very Chakra that fills this world. Did you feel how different the natural chakra is compared to a few days ago?"
"You presume I can sense natural Chakra?"
She giggled and smiled.
"Of course, I know you can. You are, afterall, my destiny, I know threre is nothing you can't do,"
"You really are hopeless, but yes I did, do you know something about it?"
"I can tell it started the day we met, no, actually, a few hours before our fight, something must have happened then,"
"I see," She looked at him quizically, making him smirk. "I know what caused this... change,"
"Oh, care to fill me in?"
"A few hours before we met, I have fought the Kyubi and after defeateing it, have assimilated it's Chakra into myself with the help of Ea,"
"Wait!" For the first time since he met her, she looked nervous? No, more like shocked," "But the Kyubi is a-,"
"Divine beast, one of the nine divine beasts born from the God-tree, yes,"
"And you have assimilated with it, that means that you are no longer a mortal,"
"Indeed, by becoming one with the divine Chakra of the Kyubi, I have become a demi-god, half god, half human," he stated proudly, a confident smirk on his face as he threw his hands to the sides.
"That would explain the current situation," Mito said with a small frown, making the blond raise an eyebrow and cross his hands across his chest.
"Ho? Do tell,"
"When you, in fact, destroyed the divine beats, and became a demi-god yourself, the whole balance of the world shifted. What we are currently feeling is the scales of power shifting, but in what direction? I'm not sure,"
"Hmph, it doesn't matter. There is none that can match me and no shift of power will change this,"
"None can match you?" Mito asked with a small smirk and narrowed eyes.
"Hmph, I acknowledge your strengh, but," He mirrored her expression. Chakra started to slowly seep out of the two as their staredown got more intense. "I won't go easy on you the next time,"
The Chakra levels got higher and higher, the cobblestone cracking around them, winds picking up and nearby windows starting to crack. For a few moments, it looked like they would start an all-out war in the middle fo Konoha, but as quickly as the pressure came, so did it vanish.
"A wise choice," The blond stated with a smirk, making Mito giggled again.
"I'm just not willing to scarifice civilians to fight you,"
"You would dare to ingore my challange because of a few civilians?" The blond asked with furious expression, making her shake her head.
"No, just today, besides, I didn't come here to fight,"
"I see," Naruto put his hands in the pockets and turned to leave. "There is nothing more to discuss tonight then, begone,"
"Farewell, Naruto,"
Naruto opeend his eyes to the sight of Kakashi appearing in a cloud of smoke. It was about two hours past dawn, the silver-haired mongrel was late again. Naruto swore, that should this become a common occurance and the Hokage would let Kakashi be this tardy, he would punish the Jonin himself.
"Good morning, team," The Jonin's cheerful voice filled the clearing they found themselves in. Naruto looked at his teammates and saw their discontent as well. Huh, maybe he could use the mongrels to punish the Jonin? A thought for the future.
"Sensei, why are you late again?" Sakura's sleepy voice asked. The girl looked like she didn't sleep last night and was about to drop dead any moment. Kakashi sighed in his head, he expected better from her. To come on an assigment unprepared and tired was something unacceptable. At least, it looked like the two other Genin were ready for today's test.
"Sorry, sorry, I was on my way here and then a black cat crossed my road so I had to take the long way around. But I am here now, so, shall be begin?"
"Hmph," Naruto scoffed and stood up with a frown. "Do you even need to ask?"
"Alright, the test is simple. I simply want to see how strong each of you is and if can work as a team. You will have three hours to convince me that you are fit to become a Genin team. Your time starts now," When there was no reactio from the Genin, Kakashi blinked twice and cleared his throat. "Now," Huh, still no reaction? What was he supposed to do in this situation? Attack them?
Sakura looked as tired as before, the Jonin wondered if she even heard him begin the exam. Sasuke looked at him with a resolute look, his hand on the seath on his Katana that was strapped at his waist. And Naruto... Naruto looked at him with burning anger, the Jonin could see his clenched fists and narrowed eyes.
Fool! Who did the mongrel think he was? To prove himself to one such as him? Preposterous! Blasmethous! For a moment, a tiny little moment, the blond entertained the thought of showing the silver-haired Jonin true despair and hopeleness by bringing out Ea, but as quick as the thought came, he dismissed it with venom.
Unworthy!
It would be an insult to Ea to show her majesty to the Jonin.
And so, he took a claming breath and smirked at the Jonin, before a glimmering portal opened behind him. It amused the blond how quick Kakashi was to jump back. Good, at least he understood that he was mereley a bug under his heel.
Yet, the blond didn't attack, instead, a golden throne, with red cushions and jeweled ornaments came forth from the gate. Ignoring the stupefied expressions on his future teammates, Naruto unsealed a golden chalice filled with wine and sat down on the throne.
"Go on, mongrels, entertain me! Prove your worth to me and I may grant you the honor of fighting on the same battlefield as me!"
"Arrogant," Sasuke muttered to Sakura, who nodded sagely.
"Arrogant with a capital A," She muttered back. Kakashi rubbed his single exposed eye and then pinched his cheek, not beliving what he just heard.
"Eh, right," He muttered and pointed to the centre of the clearing. "I will just wait there, I guess? Come at me when you want," The Jonin muttered and walked away, his brain unable to process what just happened. Once the Jonin was away, Sasuke turned to his teammates.
"We should do this together, lets form a plan," Sasuke said with a determined look, only to blink when Sakura, the only normal teammate he had, huffed and walked away, leaving him without any other reaction. Sasuke turned to the blond with a unsure expression and asked. "Do you know what happened to her?"
"I do,"
"You won't tell me?"
"Of course not," The blond asnwered with a smirk, his chin resting on his left palm. Sasuke groaned before turning to the Jonin and rushing him. "Ho, let's see what my teammates are worth,"
Sasuke reached Kakashi in seven leaps and when his feet touched the ground for the eighth time, he stopped, shifting his balance and using all the gained momentun to spin. The hiss of metal notified the Jonin of the attack, he looked over his shoulder and saw the Uchiha unsheath his Katana with a powerful swing.
Good idea, but...
Kakashi touched the blunt side of the sword and with a litte effort altered it's trajectory, making Sasuke loose balance. The Jonin stepped in, a single, but powerful punch flew toward's the Genin's head, but the raven-haired teen managed to dodge at the last second and jump back.
He sighed and took a stance, slightly frustared his sneak attack didn't work, but oh well, he would just prove himself Genin-ready by frontal assault. He blinked and his Sharingan flared to life before he dashed in.
He appared on the jonin's left and swung, forcing Kakashi to pull out a Kunai and block the attack. A second before their blades met, Sasuke released a burst of his Chakra, appearing on Kakashi's right his sword descending at the Jonin's unprotected side.
That was fast! For a Genin and most Chunin it would seem like he teleported and would give them no chance to defend. Not Kakashi, who knew from the moment the first attack came it was just a feint, he saw how different the form was compared to Sasuke's initial attack. And so, he was prepared and shifted his balance in a blink, ducking under the sword, his fists landing three strikes on the Genin's chest before Sasuke jumped away.
Kakashi gave him no space and followed quickly, only to be forced to substitute with a log or else lose his head. So this was his plan. To lure him in and counter, just like the Uchiha Taijutsu style did the same. Kakashi couldn't help but smile slightly, that was close.
As close as the fireball that came at his position the moment he ended substitution. He jumped up only to find Sasuke already there his sword singing for his blood. Kakashi, in a show of unbelivable agility, was able to bend his whole torso away, sustaining only small cuts on his vest.
He reeled back in, caught the Uchiha by the wrist, twisted it behind his back, but Sasuke was having none of this. The Genin spun mid-air and kicked at the Jonin's face, before pushing hismelf back.
They landed at the same time, one with a bruised wrist, the other with a shoe imprint on his face.
"Alright, I might have understimated you, let's start this again," Sasuke stepped back as a boot flew in front of his face, he spun to try to cut it, but before he could even start, three strikes lashed out at his face, disorienting him. He jumped back and in a show of his Ninjutsu genius, using only one hand seal, he launched a fireball at Kakashi's position.
He landed with slight tumble and instantly threw three handseals together, he needed to gain some distance. Kakashi stopped playing around and Sasuke had to do everything he could to defeat him. Before he finished his string of seals, the Jonin appeared before him.
Sasuke observed in slow-motion, thanks to the Sharingan, as the silver-haired Ninja threw a punch straight at his face, his body too slow to react. He felt the punch impact his nose, before a second crashed into his right cheek and a kick on his mid-section lifted him off. To finish this, through his blurry vision, he saw Kakashi lift him by his shirt and throw him into a tree.
Ah shit, just before his back impacted with the tree, Sasuke realized how outclassed he was.
Naruto chuckled seeing the Uchiha's form fall to the ground, clearly uncounsciouss. While the beat-down was amusing, it lacked real struggle, it seemed almost like sasuke was trying to make space for some technique, but failed, thus disappointing the blond.
"Hm, I wonder where the book mongrel went. Did she chicken out?" Naruto asked with a yawn, only to stiffle it upon seeing the girl stumble into the clearing. "She looks like she is about to collapse," The golden-haired teen said with a chuckle and watched the spectacle unfold in front of him.
When the girl reached Kakashi, the Jonin was honestly very concerned for her health. She looked very pale and was sweating profusely. Her breath was ragged and her eyes had black bags under them like she never slept a day in her life.
"Sakura, maybe you shouldn't-"
"No, no... it's alright," She took a stance and Kakash sighed. He admired her persistance, but nothing good could come out of this. "Here.. I come-" She coughed before jogging at the Jonin.
Kakashi sighed, her strikes were slow, weak and unprecise. He thought about stopping the fight and when he opened his mouth, only a grunt of pain left it. He looked with wide eye as Sakura, looking as healthy as yesterday, rushed him with fists glowing in Chakra.
The initial strike, the one he failed to notice sent him flying and the pink-haired girl followed him instantly. Her fists were a flurry of fast paced attacks, light, hard, some feints, other grabs. Together with a skillful addition of kicks, Kakashi was on the backfoot and with every second, he could feel new bruises form on his arms.
A punch broke through his guard, shocking the Jonin even further before a second found his chin sending him into the air before being grabbed by his leg and rammed another powerful punch.
He had just enough time to bring his arms into a double guard and even then, he felt the crushing power behind the attack that sent him flying. He had done the same mistake twice now, damnit! Alright, if the kids wasnted to play rough, he would show them how it's done.
As Kakashi skipped on the ground, he used the momentum to push himself from the ground and land horizontally on a tree's bark, before shooting back at Sakura, who was rushing at him with a excited grin.
He met her in a second, slapping her punch away and landing a palm strike on her stomach and then with the same hand punched her chin. With his other hand a hard hook found her face before a kick her sent flying.
For a moment, Kakash thought he overdid it when the girl refused to move from the ground. But then he saw a faint green light and understanding hit him. Clever, very clever, pretend to be injuried while healing, trying to lure him in. Honetlsy, Kakashi had to admit these kids were good, very good.
He was about to move and stop her healing, but then she stood up. She had an expression crossws between acceptance and annoyance, before she turned to the blond, who observed nearby.
"Oi! Help me out here!" She shouted grumpily.
"Hm and why should I?" Naruto asked with a small smirk, making the girl growl under her reath before swallowing hard.
"Becuase you're so gracious and magnficent?" She grit out, her expresion as sour as had she eaten a lemon. Naruto looked unimpressed, but sighed and lifted his left hand.
"A child would do better, but it will do for now. Know my grace and benevolence," A dozen of golden portals appeared behind him, making the Jonin tense. "Try your hardest to dodge!"
Swords, lances and other weapons shot out from the gates, forcing the Jonin to jump back. He took out a pair of Kunai, in hopes of deflecing the weapons, but when his first weapon shattered instantly on contact, Kakashi abandoned the plan.
The onslaught of weapons was relentless, leaving Kakashi no breathing room and permanently forcing him to dodge. He tried to substitue himself with a log, but regretted it when three spears were already waiting for him there. It was riddiculous! Kakashi was sure he left no Chakra trail behind and the substitution was behind the blond's back! It was almost like he looked into the future and was ready for his every move.
Suddenly, after a few minutes of being pushed back, there was silence, no sound of weapons destroying the clearing, no sounds of explosions, nothing. It made the Jonin anxious, he didn't know what the blond had in store, but after almost two minutes of nothing, he relaxed and went back to the clearing, where he found Naruto still sitting in the same position as before, alas with a bored look now.
"If you had showed your Sharingan, I would have stopped playing around, but it seems you are still understimating me, fool,"
"How do you know about the Sharingan?" The Jonin ignored the insult with practical ease.
"Hmph, who do you take me for? Do you really think I, of all people wouldn't know a thing about who my Sensei is? But nevermind that, they are coming,"
"Huh? Who?"
As if to answer his question, Sakura and Sasuke appeared on his sides, the former on the left and the latter on his right. His eye widened and thanks to his lightning-fast reflexes, he was able to push Sasuke's sword away while slapping Sakura's kick down. He jumped up, kickiking the Uchiha away, but beofre he could flip, Sakura caught his ankle and threw him at the raven-haired genin.
Sasuke corrected his fall and and spun on his heel, kicking his Sensei in the chest, pushing him higher into the air, where the pink-haired girl landed a vicious punch on his back, sending him tumbling on the ground.
A cloud of dust filled Kakashi's impact area, but when it cleared, jsut a log remained. The sound of slow clapping on the other side of the clearing notified them where the Jonin appeared.
"Well done, but you will have try harder if you want to impress me," He spoke slowly and his hand grabbed his headband, lifting it and revealing a fully matured Sharingan. It was time to push them to their limits. "Now, give it your all!"
The two rushed at their Sensei, working in tandem. When one attacked low, the other striked high, when the first feinted, the second tried a sneak attack. The Jonin found himself under a vicious barrage of expert Taijustu and deadly Kenjutsu from two the genins, staying on the backfoot, dodging, blocking and weaving through their attacks.
They worked well together, too good for a pair of Genin working first time together. It was testament to their genius that they were able to coordinate their attacks so smoothly. Truly, these two could take down any new Jonin with their teamwork.
But Kakashi was not a new Jonin.
He, too, was a Genius.
Suddenly, the tempo of the fight shifted. Where before it was controled by the Genin, Kakashi took the initiative. For every attack the two launched, the silver-haired Jonin retiliated with two of his own. Where before he was pushed back and had to react, now the two Genin had to really try hard to even find an opening for an attack.
"Plan B!" Sasuke shouted and jumped away with a string of seals quickly formed. A dragon made of flames flew from his mouth and rushed the Jonin, who was occupied by another combo from Sakura. The girl managed to land a staggering kick on the Jonin, but in return got thrown at the Jutsu.
Kakashi's heart stopped for a moment. In his battle trance, he forgot how dangerous it was, what fatal injury could the pink-haired Genin sustain. He tried to catch her, but her kick left him off-balance and there was no time. Sasuke was too far away to do something and the Jutsu was not one he could cancel.
Just when the first flames licked her back, a massive broadsowrd piecred the Justu, follewed by a massive gust of wind, which dispersed the dragon, leaving the girl with barely any injuries. Kakashi looked to his left and caught the sight of a portal closing behind the blond, before he sighed in relieve.
The relief was, however, short lived. He felt an absurd burst of Chakra from Sasuke, who held his sword in front of him, far enough for the Jonin to be unable to stop whatever technique he was preapring.
He watched with rapt curiosutiy when the sword started to shine brightly and the Uchiha said two words.
"Shatter, Senbonzakura!"
It seemed like Kakashi's previous dilema was answered, this really was Senbonzakura, the ancient heirloom of the Uchiha Clan, passed down from Clan head to their succesor. The Jonin had never seen it, Fugaku never used a Katana and only heard rumours about it from Obito during their Genin times. Honestly, Kakashi didn't belive the legends aboutt his sword till now and now he had to fight it's wielder.
Great.
Kakashi grimaced when the blade turned into hundreds of minitaure blades floating around the Uchiha, reflecting the light, making them glow pink, just like Sakura petals. He wondered why the Uchiha didn't attack yet, but upon looking at the Genin, he uderstood the reason. Sasuke's whole body was rigid, Chakra rushed out of his body at rapid pace, leaving the Genin unable to move from the ehaustion he must be feeling right now.
The Jonin came to a conclusion that while Sasuke was able to unseal the sword, his Chakra and body were not ready or used to it. It was a last resort from Sasuke, a final gamble and it seemed like it didn't work out.
Sasuke fell to his knee, sweating profusely. The sword, no longer sustained with it's wielder Chakra sealed itself to it's usual form. Kakashi sighed when Sakura started to run diagnostic Jutsu on the Uchiha, who looked like he was about to faint.
"How much do you want for that sword?" The voice cut through the air like a sharp knife. All members of team seven looked at Naruto, who was now slowly walking towards the Uchiha witha serious expresion.
"What?" The raven-haired Genin muttered with a tired voice.
"How much do you want for this sword? Name a price,"
"It's not for... sell,"
"Really?" Naruto asked and dozen of gates appeared arund him. Pure gold, most exotic jewels, ancient trinkets worth fortunes spilled on the clearing. It was like a dam has been broken, the a moment before green earth was glimmering in gold, shining brightly under the suns gaze. "Not even for this much?"
Sakura couldn't believe her eyes, there was more than enough money here to buy a whole Nation. Hell, she was sure not even the Daimyo's could brag about being this rich. Well, this just cemented her opinion on Naruto being a rich, spoiled jerk. Period.
"No, I won't sell it," Naruto hummed with a displeased expression before turning to the Jonin.
"Well, no matter, the sword will be mine one day, one way or another. Now, I won't lie, seeing a treasure like this made me excited. Hm, the sole fact that a mongrel like the Uchiha posses something I desire makes him worthy of my attention and the fact he was able to unseal one of the nine Hevenly swords proves his worth to me," Naruto turned to Kakashi, his hands in his pockets.
"Now, come at me with all you've got,"
It was not a question or request, it was an order and Kakashi felt oblidged to follow it. The Jonin rushed forward with great speed, appearing on the Geninn side and lauching three punches followed by a kick and another two punches, but Naruto weaved through them effortlessy. As the fight went on, Kakashi picked up the speed, trying his hardest to land a hit, but to his rising frustration, Naruto was just too damn fast!
It felt more like he was being the one tested and not the other way around for the silver-haired Jonin.
After anoother barrage of attacks, Kakashi vanished and appeared mid air behind the blond. He lauched a kick and it looked like Naruto didn't even notice him. Kakashi saw his leg hower closer and closer to the Genin and when it was about to make contact, crimson eyes looked at him over his shoulder, a golden portal opened and a staff stopped his leg, just inches away from Naruto's face.
A second gate opeend on Kakashi's gut level and a second golden staff flew out, sending a breatless Jonin away, on the other side of the clearing. The silver-haired ninja crashed on the ground, trying to regain his breath, keeping an eye on the golden-haired jerk who forced him into such position.
"You almost landed a hit," Naruto hummed thoguthfully, before nodding his head and smriking. "Very well, then I shall retailate now. Let's see, I should propably move around some, can't keep throwing weapons at people or I might get out of shape,"
Kakashi had just enough time to push him away to avoid a hammer crashing into his chest. He rolled away and jumped back to his feet, only to find Naruto in front of him with a spear. Three quick thrusts, the first two forcing him to dodge and the last digging into his side, easily cutting his Jonin vest. Kakashi slapped the spear away, making naruto do a piruatte, spinning the weapon behind his back.
Suddenly, out of nowehre, a sword cut at his face, the spear not in sight. The blade cut slightly into his nose, jsut barely drawing blood, before a kick sent him away. Three gates appeared behind him and three golden lances fired at his back. He flipped just in time over them, only to find Naruto with a waraxe under him.
The Jonin latched onto the dull sides of the blade and sticked to them using Chakra. Using the momentum behidn Naruto's swing, Kakashi launched himself into the air and unfurled a scroll before a seal on it erurpted into a smoke and his trusty Chakra Sabre lit up ture to it's name. Just in time for three swords fly at him at amazing speed, but fortunately he was able to deflect them before gravity took hold and he landed on the ground.
There was no other way to say this, but Kakashi was truly pushed back. Unlike with the other two, he wasn't holding anything back, but the blond out matched him still. Kakashi smiled under his mask, it reminded him of the spars with Minato-Sensei, where no matter what tactic he came up with, the blond menance was simply able to brute force through them.
Kakashi pushed Chakra into his legs and errupted forward, the earth beneath his heels rendered asunder. Naruto met him halfway there, a sword in his hand. Steel met steel, sparks shot in all directions and their eyes met, one filled with amusement, the other with determination to at least land a single hit on Naruto.
Wherein Sasuke's form was fluid and relied on counterattacks, Naruto was queit the opposite of it. His attacks had no patern, no froms between which he moved. It was like the blond improvised, like he knew nothing about swordfighting, yet, there was something regal about the way he moved. It reminded Sakura of a dancer, the way he moved in, back, how he spun ducked and jumped, together with various acrobatic moves and feints that looked like the blond was toying with his opponent. It was truly mesmerizing and she couldn't help but observe the fight with a batted breath.
Sasuke, unlike Sakura didn't focus the blond's moves or form. For him, the most amazing thing was how Naruto was the one who dictated the fight's tempo. One moment, he pushed Kakashi mercillesy, forcing the Jonin on total defensive and the like a switch has been flipped, he pulled back, giving the Jonin some breathing room, only to pick up the pace again. Sasuke knew he was strong, stronger than most his age, but to see sucha gap between him and Naruto was... an unpleasnat experiecne, something he knew he didn't want to feel again, no matter what. He knew that he stood no chance against the blond right now, but he swore to himself that he would become strong enough to rival the red-eyes Genin one day.
Kakashi panted, how long ahs been since he was pushed so much? How long since taking a fight this seriously? He didn't have the answer, but knew that it was better this way, because the answer would make him feel terrible.
This fight had been an eye-opener for the Copy-Ninja, it seems like he can't ride on his previous glory and Sharingan anymore, if a Genin is able to push him to the brink. Ah, how dissapointed his team would have been, had they been still around. The scolding he would get from Rin, the silent dissapointed in Minato-Sensei's eyes, but the worse of it, the anger in Obito's eyes at being so weak, after everything he had lost and the gift he had been granted.
But it wasn't too late, he still had time.
He understood, that he had to change, to get better, not only for himself, but also for the three Genin in front of him. He was, afterall their Sensei and it was his job to not only protect them, but to guide them throught this bloody path they chose when becoming Shinobi. With renewed vigor and a new fire in his eyes, Kakashi charged in, intend on not losing, if he played it right, there was still a-!
"What?!" Kakashi grunted when four gates appeared around him, each shooting out a chain that tied itself around his limbs. He lifted his gaze and his eyes widened at the dozen of portals above him. Weapons were fired at the Jonin, kicking up a huge smokescreen, before Naruto, having unselaed a large lance, rushed in, intend of finishing the fight.
"Sensei!" Sasuke and Sakura shouted simultaneously when the blond charged the Jonin. The clearing was quiet for a few moments before the smoke vanished, showing the still tied, but relatively unharmed Kakashi. Dozens of weapons were pierced around him in the ground and Naruto's lance stopped inches away his throat.
"Not bad, not bad at all," Naruto said with a small smirk and the chains, weapons and lance dispersed into golden particles, returning to the Gate of Babylon. Kakashi managed to fall on his feet, but soon sat down on the grass with raged breath.
"What was that?" The Jonin spoke after a silence, during which the two other Genin joined them. Naruto looked at Kakashi and noticed the curious gazes of his teammates and crossed his hadns with a smirk.
"That's... a secret,"
The clearing was filled with anoyed and irritated shouts of two Genin and a Jonin, interupted only by the loud and regal laugh of Naruto. Inwardly, the blond smiled, while his teammates and Sensei weren't as special as him or her, they proved their worth today. They showed resolve, strengh and willingnes to push themselves to their limits, traits the blond considered the most important in humans.
Yo, new chapter is here, let me know what you think.
I have made a few plans for the story lately and how it will progress. Here are the future arcs I have planned:
-Team Seven arc: focusing on Naruto's time in team seven and their missions.
-Chunin Exam arc: Old exams, new opponents.
-Pacification arc: ain't spoilering yet.
-Lost girl arc: A few side stories of Mito's adventures.
-Unification of Uzushio arc: Naruto is going home.
That's all I have currently planned for now, what do you think?
For the purpose of filling the world with new characters and giving Naruto opponents that will be able to fight him, I will need to use existing Characters from other Series. Why not create OC's? Well, That requiers me to be able to write up completly new characters and I think people will favor characters they already know from other Anime, right?
So, the list of anime I will be taking characters from(Will most likely change in the future):
-Jujutsu Kaisen
-Bleach
-Fate series
Alright, thanks for reading and I will be seeing you!
