At the same time, Lina's mind had sunk deep into her subconscious which was pitch black and she could see nothing around her.
"Where am I now?" asked Lina while looking around.
"You're in your subconscious," came a voice from behind her. When Lina turned around, she noticed Xena standing before her in her classic armor and a chakram in her hand.
"Hey, you're the Xena that Gabrielle was telling me about," said Lina.
"That's right, and I'm the one who should be in control of this body!" said Xena before throwing the chakram.
"Whoa!" said Lina as she barely managed to dodge. However, it bounced off an invisible barrier and cut her shoulder on the way back to Xena.
"Why… why does it hurt so much?" asked Lina while holding her shoulder which was bleeding heavily from the cut.
"Even your mind can be hurt if the right trauma is inflicted, and that's what your body is right now, a physical version of your mind," said Xena who had caught the chakram.
"They can even be killed," she said before throwing the weapon again.
"Why are you doing this to me?" asked Lina as she tried to dodge once more. As she was dodging the chakram, it was hitting her less and less until it couldn't even touch her everytime Xena threw it.
"Because I need out in order to help my friends," said Xena.
"And that means you have die," she said while throwing the chakram again, this time with more force behind it than before.
"Then we have a problem," said Lina, who caught the weapon and threw it back at the warrior which cut her cheek as Xena was unable to catch it.
"Because I'm not giving up!" she said while standing her ground.
"Good, now we can move on from this," said Xena while picking the chakram up and putting it away on her belt.
