"Alright, is anyone going to explain what's going on here and why we are all alive again?" asked Xena.
"Because I'm pretty confused on this part," she said.
"After your death, I continued to go around the world doing what I could to help people and soon became a demi-God for my actions; I've lived for thousands of years now," said Gabrielle.
"As for the rest of us, we found ourselves back here on Earth just a couple of years ago without any clue at why we were brought back to life," said Eve.
"This also included the Gods you killed, all of them returned as well," said Hades.
"Why?" asked Xena.
"We soon found that out from The Fates, they told us that the Egyptian God Apep was the one who brought them all back in order to devour them and their powers," said Gabrielle.
"How many of them has he already defeated?" asked Xena.
"We're all that's left," came a female voice from behind them. When Xena turned around, she noticed Kali, Aphrodite, the Fates, and Callisto standing before her.
"So, including Gabrielle and Hades, Apep has eight more deities left," said Xena.
"That's right, but he can't get to us here thanks to a barrier that we were all able to create after he had eaten the others," said Gabrielle.
"And what about you?" asked Xena while looking at Z.
"I was the new version of you, trained by the Fates and given your knowledge from birth I was meant to be the one to fight Apep and defeat him," said Z.
"But I was no match for Apep and nearly died in every fight I've had with him up to this point," she said.
"That's when we messed with the thread of time to make you be reborn earlier than you were supposed to be in order to get your help before Apep can get his scales on us and destroy everything," said Clotho.
"And it won't do you any good at all," came a voice out of thin air which echoed through the entire building.
"Apep," said Gabrielle as she noticed a circle of smoke appear before them from which a single eye could be seen.
