"How did you get in here?!" asked Gabrielle while grabbing her Chakrams.

"This is only an illusion, your barrier is still too strong for me to break it and enter your little base for real," said Apep.

"Just what do you want?" asked Xena.

"To be the only God and plunge the world into chaos, bringing back the reign of monsters and myths that has long been lost," said Apep.

"Sounds like all of the other insane people I've fought," said Xena.

"I may not be able to get to you right now, Xena, but your new family is another story," said Apep.

"They are still out in the world, just sitting at home ready to be killed by my familiars who are everywhere on this planet," he said.

"Hurt them and I'll do more than kill you," said Xena.

"We'll see about that," said Apep before vanishing.

"Where does your family live?" asked Gabrielle while Xena turned to face her with an expression that told her that they needed to get going.

"They're in the Bronx," said Xena.

"Z, you're with us, we have to stop Apep before he can hurt them," said Gabrielle as she headed for the door.

"Wait, couldn't Apep attack you while we're out there?" asked Xena while she and Z followed.

"Gabrielle is only a demi-God right now, Apep can only kill her when she becomes a full God or he loses out on all of her power," said Z.

"Apep also needs to devour the others before he can even get close to me as my power as a demi-God out classes that of a God," said Gabrielle as they walked out of the building. The three then got into an SUV, Z in the driver's seat and the other two in the back.

"Alright, but what kind of demi-God are you?" asked Xena.

"The demi-God of strong women and lesbians," said Gabrielle.

"Huh, I did not see the last part coming and really should have," said a stunned Xena while the vehicle started to drive away.
