Episode 7: "The leader, the lover and the loner"
~Bianco Tribe, Day 19~
(It was the day after their tribal council, and the three remaining Bianco members were sitting around camp. There was a clear awkwardness as Edward was sitting in the shelter. He is fidgeting with some rocks and sticks, using his alchemy to transform them into various random materials, clearly lost in his own thoughts. He looks over to his bag, and stares intently at a particular blue cape dangling out of it.)
Edward [conf]: "I don't know how to react after last night. I mean, I think I made the right choices because I am still here. But it's clear I seriously hurt Lyn…oh god damn it! I've screwed up a lot in this game, and this is just another notch to add onto that belt."
(Morrigan walks back into camp and spots Edward alone.)
Morrigan: "Ed. Weren't you on Louie duty?"
Edward: "Huh? Oh yeah. He's over there eating a rock or something."
(Morrigan looks over and sees Louie holding a rock that looked suspiciously like a pear. He goes to try and put it in his mouth, but forgot he had his space helmet on and ended up just banging it into the glass. He repeats this over and over again.)
Morrigan: "Well, at least now we have a way to keep him in one place."
Morrigan [conf]: "Last night was a close call for me. Closer than I ever wanted it to be in my game. Luckily for me Ed's naiveté and impulsiveness proved as reliable as ever. But this vote showed me I need to start playing a lot more carefully. I got complacent and it almost cost me. That's a mistake I'm not foolish enough to make again."
(Edward notices a note in Morrigan's hands.)
Edward: "Tree mail already?"
Morrigan: "Yup and given the timing I think I know exactly what it is."
(Edward perks up, realizing what Morrigan was implying.)
Edward: "No way, we made it!? Let's go!"
(He quickly grabs his bags, as does Morrigan and the two walk off to a boat that had pulled up on the beach. Morrigan looks back and sees they were not followed.)
Morrigan: "Hey Louie! Time to go!"
(Louie had not moved from the spot he was at before, still repeatedly clanky the rock onto his helmet. Morrigan rolls her eyes.)
Morrigan: "There's gonna be a feast."
(Louie suddenly appears behind Morrigan as if he appeared out of nowhere.)
Louie: "Food?"
Morrigan: "GAH! Stop doing that!"
~Merge Beach, Day 19~
(The boat that the Bianco tribe had boarded was pulling up to an unfamiliar camp. It was a series of three rather large and spacious islands off the coast of the main beach where the boat was docked. The main beach had a jungle, while each island was simply populated by fruit bearing trees. The three grab their belongings and get off.)
Edward: "Guess we're starting a new."
Morrigan: "Looks like we're not the first ones here either."
(Morrigan points to one of the islands where the other two tribes are already gathered. Those grouped there notice the last three arriving.)
Ethan: "Hey, they're here."
London: "Yay! Does that mean we can eat now?"
(Edward and Morrigan wade through the shallow waters to get to the rest of the group.)
Edward: "Hey, don't have to tell me twice. Let's dig in!"
(Gale's face seemed a little disappointed as they walked over.)
Gale: "So I guess Louie finally ran out of lives?"
Morrigan: "What do you mean?"
Nick: "He's the one you voted out, right? That's why he's not here."
Morrigan: "Not here? He…"
(Morrigan turned around to see Louie had vanished from sight.)
Morrigan: "Oh god damn it."
(She retraced her steps and found Louie laying face first in the water. She picked him up by the foot and held him upside-down with an unamused look on her face.)
Morrigan: "Louie, what on earth are you doing?"
Louie: "Drowning."
Morrigan: "…Louie…you are in a space suit. This is like two inches of water. It is literally impossible for you to drown."
Louie: "The eels…the eeeeeeels."
Morrigan: "You really are hopeless, you know that?"
Charlie: "Wait. If Louie's still here than that means…"
(Edward's expression sank into one of solemness.)
Charlie: "Wow. Gotta say I had her pegged for the long haul."
Ethan [conf]: "When we saw Lyn was gone, I took that as a wake-up call that this game is in full swing. There's been a lot of wild tribal councils, but she is someone I think everyone expected to see coming into today's merge. That signals to me that the kiddy gloves are off. We've hit a milestone in the Survivor Olympics today, and that means I need to be prepared because this game is just going to get harder from here."
(The ten remaining players gathered around a table filled with food. Chicken, potatoes, vegtables, sodas, wine and the centerpiece of it all was a small treasure chest with a letter on it marked with a shine sprite symbol. London plucked the note off of it's position.)
London: "What's this?"
Gale: "Probably a message for us. Read it."
London: "Ok."
(London opens the letter and squints at the paper.)
London: "C…C…Can…Con…Cone…"
Charlie: "Congratulations?"
London: "Thanks. Congratulations p…pl…plah…"
Charlie: "Oh give me that."
(Losing patience, Charlie takes the note out of London's hand and nearly rips it in the process.)
London: "Geez, rude much?"
Charlie: "Congratulations players on being the last ten left in the game. You have survived eighteen days, and there is much more to go. But the game has now changed. You can now drop your buffs, you have all made it to the merge!"
(The group cheers and celebrates the milestone. They each throw their buffs onto the ground. Benny reaches into the chest and pulls out a bundle of new buffs, all a bright sunbeam yellow.)
Benny: "Yellow. Nice."
London: "Ew. Yellow does NOT go with these shoes."
Sidney: "Of course it doesn't."
Sidney [conf]: "Now that we've made the merge, there are a lot of people I can't believe even made it this far. Of course there's London, but she has the excuse that she only even went to one tribal council and had a much bigger vote shield in Daffy to cover her. The one that truly baffles me is Louie. He's been vulnerable at every vote he's gone to, and each time I feel like he should've been dead in the water. The fact that he is still here is a little concerning, because that means someone was up to something."
(The tribe begins enjoying their merge feast.)
Ethan: "Oh my god, I feel like I haven't had actual food in ages."
Gale: "Finally something that can get the taste of bland rice out of my mouth."
(Charlie pours herself a glass of wine and holds it up.)
Charlie: "This is sappy as hell but, a toast. This game is gonna get even crazier, but let's enjoy the moment while we can."
(The rest of the group agrees and picks up their drinks.)
London: "Here, here!"
(Gale notices something off about London's drink.)
Gale: "London, that's wine you just poured."
London: "It is? Oh well."
(She shrugs and goes to drink it, but Nick swats it out of her hand.)
London: "Ow, what the heck Nicky?"
Nick: "Sorry sweetheart. We're on national broadcast, and I don't need to be seen as the cop who was complicit in putting a minor under the influence."
London: "Com…pli…sit?"
Gale: "Just stick to soda, London."
(Gale pours London a soda and things seem to go back to normal. But Charlie gives a subtle look at Nick after his comment.)
Nick [conf]: "People may not believe it, but I take my job seriously at home. Sure, I don't have the cleanest background. But I've done a lot of work on myself to turn my life around. I may not be the most chipper beat cop on the street, but I don't plan on throwing it away and going back. A life of scams and petty crime is a cold life to live…literally. I've been in a perpetual state of frostbite making those otter pops."
Charlie [conf]: "Learning Nick was a cop put some things into perspective for me. Now I'm not going to go running around screaming ACAB, but I haven't had the best history with the law. Most cops I see are scumbags, incompetent or both. And Nick has been giving me option A's vibes since the beginning."
(The merge feast is coming to a close as most of the food has been eaten. Louie is laying unconscious on the table.)
Louie: "Ugh…food...so gooood…"
Benny: "Is he ok?"
Sidney: "Trust me, this is normal for him."
Edward: "I can second that."
London: "So now what do we do?"
Ethan: "I guess since it's a new camp, we gotta build a shelter."
(London let's out a loud groan.)
London: "What!? Again!? This is like the third time we had to do this. My manicure is still recovering from last time."
Gale: "Leave it to me. I've built two of these already, I can lead a third construction team."
(Gale laughed at her own joke, though no one else did.)
Gale: "Yeesh, tough crowed. Nick, Sid, help me find some firewood."
(Gale walked off matter of factly, as if expecting the others to do what she said without question. Nick leans over and whispers to Sidney.)
Nick: "Didn't she literally pull this same shit on Ricco to?"
Sidney: "I think you and I both know subtlety is not in Gale's vocabulary."
Sidney [conf]: "I don't even think our merge feast was digested and Gale was already blatantly overplaying. It's pretty obvious she's trying to take charge of the camp set up so she can meet with those she wants to strategize with. She did it on Ricco; I'd place bets she did it on Sirena too; everyone knows what she's up to. I mean, I did want to regroup with her to see where her head is at. A lot has changed since the OG Ricco days. But it's important now to be as tactful as we can. Gale constantly paints a target on her own back, and the last thing I want is her to drag me down with her."
(Since she received little push back, the tribe went with Gale's plans. Gale, Nick, and Sidney were out collecting materials while the rest of the group was setting up the main camp site. After they got a fair distance away, Gale couldn't help but let the excitement take over her face.)
Gale: "This is fantastic!"
Nick: "Someone got chipper all of a sudden."
Gale: "Why wouldn't I be? Our plan worked perfectly. Game, set and match."
Sidney: "Plan?"
Gale [conf]: "My plan was to come into the merge with as many numbers built in for me as possible, and it worked. I have active alliances with all of the former Riccos to some extent, so merge them together and we're half of the votes right there. Given Sidney's got intel on a good chunk of the Biancos from the swap too, it should be a snap to find their weak link and take control."
Sidney: "Hold up. You gave Louie an idol!?"
Gale: "Not a real one Sid."
Nick: "Apparently London's a brilliant counterfeiter."
Sidney: "Ok but why do something so risky? It just feels pointless doesn't it?"
Gale: "It was to put us in a good position Sid, and clearly it worked. Louie's still here, isn't he?"
(Sidney seemed unsure about this but dropped the topic for now. Nick seemed to notice this.)
Nick [conf]: "Back when we kidnapped Sidney I overheard her and Gale talking and it's clear to me they have a history outside of this show. I don't know from what, all I know is I've had my eye on them ever since. From what I can see they often butt heads, but that can easily be a front to throw the scent off of them. They're keeping their relationship hidden for a reason, and I don't trust it."
(Nick grabs a pile of logs, as much as he can carry.)
Nick: "I think I'm loaded up; I'll drop these back at camp. Meet you both there."
Gale: "Sounds good."
(Nick rushes off, but once he is out of sight he covertly stashes his logs in a nearby bush. He looks around for a second, then runs up to a nearby tree.)
Nick: "Come on instincts don't fail me now."
(He climbs the trunk and starts maneuvering from tree to tree through the branches until he eventually catches back up to Gale and Sidney. He is being careful not to make too much noise and stay undetected.)
Sidney: "Gale, can we talk about our game plan?"
Gale: "Actually that's exactly what I want to do. We've got Nick, London, and Louie. We just need to get one of the Biancos to fold. You've been with that group of them, I bet we can use that to our advantage."
Sidney: "…"
Gale: "…"
Sidney: "You done?"
Gale: "Yes."
Sidney: "Good. I'm not doing that."
(Gale was shocked by her blunt response and dropped the logs she was carrying.)
Gale: "What!? Why not!?"
Sidney: "Because I'm not just going to blindly follow your plans."
Gale: "Sidney. I've spent the entire pre-merge setting us up for success. You're really going to throw it all away?"
Sidney: "Oh and I've just been lounging around waiting to get here so I can latch onto you like a leach?"
Sidney [conf]: "My time in the swap opened my eyes to a lot in this game, not the least of which being I was letting Gale walk all over me. She always comes up with this grandiose schemes and doesn't even consider the input of others. It doesn't matter if it's Survivor or 'the next big career changing scoop' and 'her ticket to the big time'. She'll never change, and I don't know why I keep expecting her to."
Gale: "Sidney, be reasonable here."
Sidney: "I'm being very reasonable. I have my plans, and I want to include you in them. But we're going to get nowhere if we keep butting heads. So, when you're ready to have an actual discussion and not just talk at me like I'm a brick wall, let me know."
(Sidney grabs the last of her load and leaves. Unsure what to do or how to process, Gale quietly follows her back to camp. This gives Nick the opportunity to slink out of his hiding spot.)
Nick: "Interesting. Very interesting."
Nick [conf]: "Being trained on how to stake out sure does have it's advantages."
(Back at camp the other players have set up the basics, as much as they could get done until the foraging group returns with materials. So, they opted to relax and pass the time. Charlie is using the machete to carve a piece of tree bark. London sits next to her and looks over her shoulder.)
London: "What's that?"
Charlie: "Eh, figured I'd pick up a hobby while out here."
London: "Oh…it looks like a depressed pancake."
Charlie: "Yeah…I don't think whittling is for me."
(Charlie laughed London's comment off, and looked over to the shelter where Ethan and Benny were laying down. Ethan had nestled his head onto Benny's shoulder. Morrigan also seemed to take notice to this.)
Morrigan: "Well, you two certainly got close."
(Ethan's eyes widened in surprised and he quickly jolted up.)
Ethan: "What, I, uh, I mean…"
(Benny sat up with him.)
Benny: "We may as well tell them, half of them know by now any way."
Edward: "Know what?"
(Ethan looked at Benny, then nodded.)
Ethan: "I guess to make a long story short, me and Benny know each other outside of the game."
Edward: "No way, so they like had you come out here with your boyfriend?"
Benny: "Well, it didn't exactly start like that. But yeah, that's the gist."
Edward: "Dang, I wish they let me bring Winry out here. She'd stop me from going insane in a heartbeat."
Morrigan: "Yes, how lucky you two are."
(The camera focuses in on Morrigan's face, her expression visibly not matching the forced kindness of her words.)
Benny [conf]: "Coming clean to the group about me and Ethan is a weight off of my chest. I wear my affection on my sleeve…or however the saying goes. So now that we're together it'd kill me to be forced to hide that. It's been journey out here already, and now that we've merged I hope to get a fresh start. Not having to worry about hiding anything or someone finding out some damning secret. I just want to play the game the way I want to play it. "
Morrigan [conf]: "I had counted on having Benny at my beck and call again once we merged, but learning about him and Ethan has put a wrench into things. Ethan doesn't seem much more challenging to manipulate, but with him here that's one person Benny is always going to have loyalty to above me. That's something I need to consider taking care of sooner rather than later."
(Soon Sidney and Gale return to camp. Charlie quickly shoves the bark she was carving into her bag, and the duo drop off their supplies.)
Sidney: "Hey guys, what'd we miss?"
London: "Ethan and Benny are a totes adorable couple. Yay them!"
(Sidney was surprised by London's assertion and looked to the boys with concern.)
Ethan: "Don't worry Sid. We told everyone."
Sidney: "Oh…well I'm proud of you guys then."
Charlie: "I don't think Day 1 Ethan would ever come clean like that without having a panic attack."
Benny: "I'm still surprised Day 19 Ethan did."
(Benny grabs Ethan's shoulders and shakes him jokingly, causing a smile to form on his face.)
Charlie [conf]: "It might have required climbing a mountain to get there, but I'm happy to see Ethan back to his old self. I know it's been tough out here for the kid, and he's gotten a new lease on life ever since we merged. Which not only good for him, but I have to admit it…without his guidance on this game I'd basically be a dead fish flopping on the ground." (Charlie chuckles to herself.) "Never thought my greatest teacher out here would be some high school twerp, but here we are."
(As the tribe disperses into camp, Charlie wordlessly signals to Ethan, motioning her head to the in-progress shelter. Her, Ethan and Benny start working on said shelter.)
Charlie: "You sure it was a good idea to come clean like that? I mean, I'm proud of y'all for the confidence but…"
Ethan: "…You're worried it'll put a target on our back?...yeah, I'm trying not to freak out right now over it."
Ethan [conf]: "When me and Benny decided to play together, the last thing I ever wanted was for others to find out about us. Having someone out here I know I can trust is a huge advantage, but when that becomes public knowledge it also makes us look very threatening to others. Me and Benny discussed it last night before the merge, and I wanted to try and keep it a secret outside of our allies. But it was important to Benny for us to be open about it, and…I don't want to push him to do something he doesn't want to do again. So, I set the paranoia aside…or at least I'm trying to."
(Benny sees Ethan getting nervous and puts a reassuring hand on his shoulder.)
Benny: "It's ok. Thank you for trusting me."
Charlie: "So you're the one who chose to come clean?"
Benny: "Yes. Things would just get way too complicated if we didn't."
(While they were talking, Charlie had begun reaching for her bag to pull something out of it. At Benny's answer though, she retraced her movements and set the bag back down. Ethan seemed to notice this.)
Ethan: "What's that?"
Charlie: "Oh…nothing. Just some more whittling practice. But we got a shelter to build, I'll do more later."
(Charlie forcefully laughs, but the boys seemed a little more preoccupied in the shelter construction to really notice. Charlie quickly ties her bag closed and continues her work.)
Charlie [conf]: "I'm really happy and all that jazz that I helped Benny and Ethan get together. Really, I am. But I still find working with Benny frustrating. Especially now that I have this…" (Charlie reaches into her pocket and pulls out the wood block she had been carving. She shows it's face to the camera, revealing what was actually carved into it seemed like a crudely drawn map.) "I found some sort of clue to something at the merge feast."
(A flashback cuts to Charlie taking the note from London at the merge feast. The camera zooms in to reveal on the bottom of the note was a series of pictures that formed together into a map similar to the one Charlie had carved.)
Charlie [conf]: "I may not know the nuances of this game, but it doesn't take a genius to realize this is a map to some sort of advantage. I'm just lucky London was the only one who saw it before me. I wanted to show it to Ethan, but after everything I just can't trust Benny to keep this on the down low. So, I guess I'm flying solo on this one."
~Merge Tribe, Day 20~
(Eventually the shelter was complete enough for the ten players to fit comfortably in, so everyone retired for the night. A time lapse shows the moon passing through the sky and the sun rising. The camera follows Charlie in the early morning as she is walking through the nearby jungle holding the wood block in her hands.)
Charlie: "It's gotta be around here somewhere."
Charlie [conf]: "I don't sleep easy, so it's been a habit of mine to be up and around early. Most people haven't questioned it, and that's great for me. Since it makes for the perfect cover to find this damn…whatever the heck I'm supposed to be looking for."
(Charlie continues her walk until she comes across a fork in a river.)
Charlie: "This seems like the place."
(As she walks towards it out of view of the camera, the screen focuses in on a patch of darkness behind her…and a pair of glowing eyes soon open. Soon Morrigan appears out of the shadows, currently in her succubus form.)
Morrigan: "Hmm…very interesting."
Morrigan [conf]: "Being a demon I have a lot of perks to Survivor. One of which being I have no need to sleep. I've only been faking it to keep up my façade, but every time Charlie sneaks out of the shelter I've been keeping an eye on her. I thought I could find at least some entertainment, but it's been dreadfully boring so far. Until this morning, when I spotted her snooping around the jungle, clearly looking for something. Things may have just spiced up for me."
(Charlie begins digging into a bush at the fork. Eventually she feels something inside and pulls out a small burlap sack.)
Charlie: "Yes! Oh shit…"
(Realizing she just unintentionally let out a loud cheer, Charlie frantically looks around to make sure no one heard her. Morrigan quickly ducks behind a nearby tree to remain undetected. Satisfied she was not caught; Charlie empties the contents of the sack into her palm. A small rod with a shine sprite carved into it, and an attached note.)
Charlie: "Congratulations, you have a found the 'Personal Idol'. This idol is yours and yours alone. It cannot be taken, traded or exchanged in any way…sweet!"
Charlie [conf]: "All that work paid off, because I found this thing called a 'Personal Idol'. Apparently it's different than the idol Benny found. Because I found it I'm the only one who can use it, and it can only be used on myself. Kinda sucks it's got all these limitations, but hey. I found this all by myself, pretty proud of that. Maybe I'm getting this game after all."
(Morrigan was watching this scene from her hiding spot.)
Morrigan: "I see we've got a real treasure hunter on her hands."
(Without realizing, Morrigan shifts her weight and ends up crushing a stick underneath her, letting out an audible crack.)
Morrigan: "Damn it."
Charlie: "Who's there?"
(Thinking quickly, Morrigan snaps her fingers and switches into her civilian form before revealing herself.)
Charlie: "Oh…it's you."
Morrigan: "Long time no see, isn't it?"
Charlie: "Any particular reason you're spying on me?"
Morrigan: "Any particular reason you're out sneaking around in the middle of the night?"
Charlie: "…touché."
(An awkward stand off ensues for a few moments, before Morrigan begins to walk away.)
Charlie: "Hold up!"
Morrigan: "What?"
Charlie: "How much did you see?"
Morrigan: "I don't know what you're talking about."
(Morrigan continues to walk but Charlie stands in her path to stop her.)
Morrigan: "Um excuse m-"
Charlie: "Save it. That's bullshit and I know it."
Morrigan: "Oh do you now?"
(Charlie pulls out the personal idol she stuffed in her pocket.)
Charlie: "Let's be transparent. You saw me find this, and I know you saw me find this. What are you gonna do? Go squeal to everyone else?"
Morrigan: "And what if I do? Are you gonna tell the teacher I'm a tattle tale?"
Charlie: "No. But I'm sure they'd love to know why you have been faking going to sleep every night."
(This clearly flustered Morrigan.)
Morrigan: "Wha…how do you…"
Charlie: "Doesn't matter. What does matter is, I think we can benefit each other here."
Charlie [conf]: "I've not trusted Morrigan since day one, so her catching me red handed was the last thing I wanted. But shit happens, and if I need to adapt my plan I will."
Morrigan: "And how do you propose that?"
Charlie: "I believe we had a truce before we all got swapped, did we not?"
Morrigan: "That is something I may recall, yes."
Charlie: "Then I suggest we stick to it. You don't come for me; I keep your lies under wraps. There's a chunk of people who know nothing about you yet, so do you really want me to be the one to give them a first impression?"
Morrigan: "…and how do I trust you to keep your end of the bargain?"
Charlie: "You've got colterol, remember?"
(Charlie signals to the idol by waving it in the air.)
Charlie: "If I rat you out, you rat me out. And you better believe that would go vice versa as well."
Morrigan: "Interesting. Very well."
Charlie: "So you're down?"
Morrigan: "Yes."
Charlie: "Then say it."
Morrigan: "Say what?"
Charlie: "Say you will honor our truce."
Morrigan: "…? Fine. If I must. I will honor my truce with you."
(Charlie eyes Morrigan suspiciously, but nods in acceptance.)
Charlie: "Pleasure doing business with you."
Morrigan: "Likewise."
Charlie: "Now let's high tail it before people notice we're gone."
Morrigan [conf]: "Charlie has always been a problem spot for me back on Bianco. I always knew she was no fool, and back then she was manageable. But she's gotten much more aggressive. Still, she's clearly gotten some power, so if she wants a truce, I'll grant her that. Keep your enemies close, keep those who are of use to you closer."
(The scene cuts to back at camp. The sun has risen higher, and everyone is up and about. Edward is seen sitting on a log alone.)
Edward [conf]: "After voting Lyn out, I feel like I'm at a loss of what to do strategically. I lost pretty much every ally I ever had in this game one right after another. At some point it becomes demoralizing. It's not even worth making allies anymore. Why bother when I'll just fuck it up anyway."
(Sidney notices Edward by himself and approaches him.)
Sidney: "Hey uh, Ed right?"
Edward: "Yep."
(Sidney sits next to him.)
Sidney: "I feel like I didn't see you at all last night. So…how's your game been?"
(Edward struggled for an answer, but eventually just shrugged her off and walked away.)
Sidney: "…Well hello to you to then."
Sidney [conf]: "Ed is one of the only people I haven't met yet in this game, so when I saw him alone I figured 'Great, good time to make at least some inroads between us'. But since we've merged he's been so jaded and stand-offish. Frankly it's kind of annoying, especially now that the dynamics are so up in the air. I mean, I know this game is tough but come on? You gotta be at least a little social."
(Ed continues out of the scene to escape the interaction. He grumbles to himself and kicks a rock in a random direction.)
Edward: "Stupid game."
Morrigan: "I see the lone wolf life ain't all it's cracked up to be."
(Morrigan appears out from behind Ed, making him jump from surprise.)
Edward: "What the hell? Don't do that!"
Morrigan: "What? I'm simply trying to make conversation."
Morrigan [conf]: "With the tribes gone, people's alliances and numbers are in shambles as everyone regroups with each other. So now is a vital time to build those numbers so they are in my favor. I already have a few options, and one I can easily capitalize on is Ed. He's left with no one and should be desperate for an ally. And with my cards played right, that ally WILL be me."
Edward: "What do you want any way?"
Morrigan: "A proposal of sorts."
Edward: "Save it. I'm not really in the mood for your game talk."
Morrigan: "Very well. If you want to be left alone in this game to flop around like a dead fish, be my guest. I'm sure Winry will be thrilled to hear that's how you went out."
(Morrigan begins to walk away, but her comment clearly got to Ed. He gritted his teeth, then turned back around to face her.)
Edward: "Fine, I'm listening."
Morrigan: "Excellent."
(Morrigan swiftly and confidently sits on a nearby stump, her legs crossed in a smug manner as she speaks.)
Morrigan: "Let's lay out our cards on the table. As much as we hate to admit it, neither of us are coming into this merge in the most favorable position."
Edward: "How do you say that?"
Morrigan: "Oh don't play dumb. I know Lyn was your only real ally before she left."
Edward: "And who's to blame for her going home?"
Morrigan: "A mere act of self-defense. You two were the ones voting for me after all."
(Ed tried to respond but couldn't think of a retort and instead grumbles in frustration.)
Morrigan: "Point is, you and I both need allies in this merge."
Edward: "Don't you have Louie?"
Morrigan: "COMPETENT allies, Ed."
Edward: "Fair."
Morrigan: "You and I have been on the same tribe since the start. And I'm sure enough has happened on Ricco and Sirena to bond them together to some degree. It only makes sense for us to do the same."
Edward: "…I'll think about it ok."
Morrigan: "That's all I ask."
Edward [conf]: "Morrigan's been very transparent with how hard she is playing this game. To some degree she can be held responsible for all of my allies going home. So, she has given me no reason to trust her. But…I don't exactly have a reason to trust any one at this point. And if Morrigan is promising me safety, it's at least worth hearing her out. She may play hard, but she's also been pretty open with me about her gameplans thinking back. Maybe working with her would be a smart move."
(Back at camp, Benny and London are set up on the ground with the merged tribe flag and several jars of paint provided to them from the merge feast. Sidney and Gale were off to the side cooking rice, partially paying attention to the scene at hand.)
Benny: "Hmm…think, think. There's gotta be something good."
London: "Ooo, ooo. How about 'London Tipton Is Really Great, Yay Me!'."
Benny: "…"
London: "What? Too wordy?"
(Nick walks out of the shelter and sees the commotion, he then walks up to Gale and Sidney.)
Nick: "What's going on?"
Gale: "Benny and London are trying to come up with a tribe name for us."
London: "C'mon Nicky, help us brain rain."
(Benny whispers something into London's ear.)
London: "Oops, I mean brainstorm."
Nick: "…Meh, I'll pass. Got better use of my time."
(Nick shrugged and turned to walk away. London brushed this off, but Benny rolled his eyes before returning to their work.)
Benny [conf]: "There's a lot of people I'm meeting for the first time in the merge, and a lot of them are just rubbing me the wrong way. They're so passive and dismissive about anything in this game that isn't 'wait we need to game talk for like five hours about what to do next'. Survivor's not just a game, it's an experience of a lifetime. I don't get why people can't just sit back and enjoy these parts of it."
Sidney: "What are you guys stuck on any way?"
Benny: "This is a name we're gonna have for the rest of our time in the game. We need to make sure it's right."
London: "Yeah, we want it to be super, duper, uber, duber, perfect!"
Sidney: "…and your suggestion for a perfect tribe name was that you were really great?"
(Sidney's snide remark got a slight chuckle out of Gale, but London looked at her clearly annoyed.)
London [conf]: "Oh my gosh, I forgot how nice it was to NOT be on a tribe with Sidney constantly picking at me non-stop. She has hated me from the start, and I don't even know what I did to her? I mean, I can't help that I'm such a fabulous, beautiful, rich, charming, rich…I lost my train of thought. Point is, Sidney's a big fat meanie."
(Gale walks over to the flag-making pair and looks at the blank flag.)
Gale: "Well, our tribe color is yellow. Why not make it something simple and think of things that are yellow?"
Benny: "Oh, that should be easy enough."
London: "I got it! We'll be the '14 karat Gucci golden earring tribe'!"
Benny: "…"
Sidney: "…"
Gale: "…Why not just like, Sunshine tribe?"
Benny: "Hmm."
Gale: "The theming of a lot of decorations this season has been around these shine sprite things and their power from the sun."
Benny: "Yeah…yeah I like it. And it fits the tropical vibe of the island to."
London: "Ok, let's have a vote. All in favor of my name, raise your hand."
(London raises her hand in solidarity.)
London: "Hmm…it's gonna be a close one here."
Sidney: "Oh just name it Sunshine already!"
(As the day draws to a close, Gale is seen walking down to the beach. Soon she is joined by Sidney, who seems less than pleased to have been dragged out there.)
Sidney: "We really doing this again Gale?"
Gale: "Please Sid, just let me speak."
Sidney: "Fine, you got five minutes."
Gale: "Thank you. Look, I'm sorry. I came off strong, I know that, and you know I always do. But I really am trying to set us both up for success here. I have built us allies that we can use to take control of this game. Do you really want to throw that away?"
Sidney: "Ok first, I appreciate the apology. Probably the first time I've even heard you say those words."
Gale: "Don't push it."
Sidney: "Second, I'm not trying to throw away anything you did. But I'd like to know my voice is being heard as well."
Sidney [conf]: "At the end of the day I do trust Gale to have what's best for both of us in mind. But I'm not going to just play her game for her. I was always willing to listen to her side so long as she was willing to hear mine. Knowing how stubborn she is, I didn't think that'd happen in a million years. But then she actually apologized to me…maybe this game really has changed her."
Sidney: "So what was your plan?"
Gale: "Nick and London are definitely loyal to me after our time on Sirena. With Louie that gives us five. All we need is one more and we have the votes."
Sidney: "Ok but you realize that requires me to work with London. You see how that's a problem, right?"
Gale: "She's not as bad as you think she is."
Sidney: "You're kidding, right?"
Gale: "Well what was your idea?"
Sidney: "I've been working with the other Riccos."
Gale: "You mean the power couple and their weird old lady best friend?"
Sidney: "You never even met them before yesterday."
Gale: "Ugh, ya know what. How about this. You scope out my allies, I scope out yours. We meet back up tomorrow and decide who we work with. Deal?"
Sidney: "…fine, you got deal."
(Meanwhile back at camp, Nick and London are seen in the shelter.)
Nick: "Hey, any idea where Gale and Sid are?"
London: "Who?"
Nick: "Our alliance London."
London: "Ohhhh, you mean Gabe?"
Nick: "Her name's not…ya know what, screw it. Sure, Gabe."
London: "I think they went to get firewood or something."
(Nick looks over at the tribe's firewood pile, seeing it still completely full and barely touched from when it was collected the day prior.)
Nick: "Really couldn't come up with a better cover, could they."
Nick [conf]: "Supposedly Gale and Sid should be our allies and things should be set for us to take control in the merge. But they have a funny way of showing it when they're always off scrambling around. Gale insists Sidney is locked in with us, but I know there is tension between them. And considering Sid hasn't even had an inkling of a conversation with me regarding anything game related, I'm starting to think it wise to look to greener pastures."
(Nick spots Charlie, Benny and Ethan coming into camp. He gently nudges London to get her attention.)
London: "What?"
Nick: "Follow my lead."
(Nick then turns and waves to the incoming trio.)
Nick: "Hey guys, come here."
Charlie: "What's up, fox face."
Nick: "We just wanted to pick your brains. Right London?"
London: "Huh?"
(Nick looks to see London was still not paying attention, instead playing with a leaf she had been fidgeting with the whole time. He nudges her again, hard this time.)
London: "Hey, what the…oh, hey Benny! When'd you guys get here?"
Nick: "Right…anyways. It seems like we're already two days into the merge and no one's even talked about the vote coming up."
Benny: "Huh, well we haven't even had a challenge yet. Figured everyone's waiting til then and just taking in the new tribe."
Nick: "Isn't the playing it kinda risky?"
Ethan: "What do you mean?"
Nick: "I mean, if no one's talking to us…who's to say they're not talking to each other?
(Ethan is visually getting nervous at this realization. Charlie notices this and immediately jumps in.)
Charlie: "Is there a point to this?"
Nick: "Well, what if we stick together."
Charlie: "And how can we trust you?"
London: "Oh come on. Look at the face."
(London makes a big show of presenting Nick with dramatic arm gestures, but he just looks at her confused.)
Nick: "Um."
London: "Roll with it."
Nick: "Oh, uh…"
(Nick quickly holds his paws up and makes a puppy dog eye expression.)
London: "Isn't that the most trustworthy face you've ever seen?"
Charlie: "…I've seen more convincing on actual criminals."
Ethan: "We'll think about it, ok."
(Nick shrugs, accepting that was the best answer he'll get.)
Charlie [conf]: "I saw what Nick was doing. Trying to play the paranoia card to mess with us. The kid had bullshit written all over him. I've had my suspicions on him for a while. But the longer we're merged the more he's proving himself to be a slimeball."
(Eventually Nick and London separated leaving the trio alone to discuss.)
Charlie: "People like him make me sick."
Benny: "People like what?"
Charlie: "The people who know they can't get ahead in life without praying on people's weaknesses."
Ethan: "I don't know…"
Ethan [conf]: "I know Nick is just trying to get under my skin, it's obvious. But the scary part is it's also working. He's right, the first vote is coming up and we don't have any plan whatsoever. I hate that his words keep spinning in my head. I can't get over them. I wish I could, but I just can't!"
Charlie: "I'm gonna pause you right there Ethan. Don't let that skeez drive you nuts."
Ethan: "But he's not wrong Charlie. We have no plan, NONE! What are we going to do? What if we're too late and everyone's already plotting something. What if it's against us!?"
Benny: "E, breath. We're here."
(Benny calms Ethan down enough to keep him from hyperventilating.)
Benny: "There, we'll get things under control."
Ethan: "…Thanks. Sorry guys. I wish I could just…let things go."
Charlie: "It's fine Ethan. Benny's right, we'll figure this out."
Ethan: "I just, I don't want to…"
Benny: "Ethan stop. It's fine. Trust me."
Benny [conf]: "Ethan promised me we'd keep things chill for a bit. And I really appreciated that. But I can also tell how much it's killing him inside. I'm not going to force this kind of stuff on him, so if we need to get the plan moving I'm all in."
~Sunshine Tribe, Day 21~
(It is now the following morning. The players were all scattered about the campsite getting prepared for their first individual challenge. Gale is sitting in the shelter and keeping a watch on camp, particularly on Benny and Ethan who were spending the morning down at the beach together.)
Gale [conf]: "I worked way too hard to get this far in the game just to have it crumbling down on me, so Sid and I need to get on the same page about what we're going to do. I knew she wasn't going to love how I had in mind to work with, so I agreed to humor her and look into her side of things. But the more I look, the more I think siding with the Riccos is a bad idea. I call that trio the leader, the lover and the loner, and all three are giving off red flags in terms of potential allies."
(The shot pans to Ethan who is bringing in a large bucket of fish that he and Benny just caught for the morning.)
Gale [conf]: "Ethan's the leader. He clearly is the center of their trio. He's a good kid, but he also knows a lot about this game from what I hear. That makes me warry of him."
(Benny then picks up a fish and jokingly starts puppeting it to talk to Ethan, making both of them start to laugh.)
Gale [conf]: "Benny's the lover. He's not that intimidating of a player, but the issue is he is attached to Ethan at the hip. Now that it's come out that they also know each other pre-game, that is a clear unbreakable duo."
(The scene zooms over to Charlie, who was by herself leaning against a tree, chugging her canteen of water.)
Gale [conf]: "Then there's Charlie, and she's much more of an enigma. Which is almost more concerning to me. She keeps her cards incredibly close to her chest, hasn't interacted much with anyone outside of that trio, and is overall such a wild card you have no idea what she's thinking. Alone those facts are worrisome, combined that's a trio that I have severe doubts about working with long term."
(Eventually Gale is satisfied with her observations and leaves the scene. Charlie notices this and turns over to the direction the boys were in.)
Charlie: "She's gone!"
Benny: "Thank goodness."
Ethan [conf]: "Ever since last night Gale's been spying on us. Every time just out of the corner of my eye we'll see her peaking out of a tree or watching us from the shelter. I was surprised, because early on I thought she was a fairly strong player. But ever since we merged she's come off hard and fast. Here I thought I was overthinking things; I can only imagine what's running through her head."
Benny: "So we're all in the clear?"
Charlie: "As far as I can tell."
Benny: "Great. You guys go get Sid and meet me in the clearing."
Ethan: "Benny what are you…"
(Benny had already raced off before anyone could question him.)
Charlie: "Typical Benny?"
Ethan: "Typical Benny."
(On instruction, Ethan and Charlie arrive in the clearing with Sidney in tow.)
Sidney: "What's going on?"
Charlie: "You're as in the dark as we are."
Ethan: "Benny wanted us to meet up."
Sidney: "Huh, I guess we should plan something for tonight. Surprised Benny was the one who initiated it though."
Charlie: "You and me both."
Ethan: "There he is."
(Benny walks into the scene from the nearby woods. What surprised the trio already present though was that he didn't arrive alone. Appearing along side him…was Morrigan.)
Benny: "Great, everyone's here."
Morrigan: "Ah, so this is the 'everyone' you were referring to."
Benny: "Yup. Now we can officially start the first meeting of our alliance."
Ethan: "…"
Sidney: "…"
Charlie: "…oh boy."
Sidney [conf]: "I've wanted to regroup with Benny, Ethan and Charlie since we merged. I've just been so preoccupied sorting things out with Gale. So, when Benny put together this meeting to strengthen our numbers I was all on board…except, Morrigan wasn't exactly at the top of my list of people I had in mind as one of those 'numbers'."
Charlie: "Benny, what the hell?"
Benny: "What, what did I do?"
Morrigan: "Yes, you seem quite upset Charlie dear."
(Charlie became flustered but didn't want things to blow out of proportions so she calmed herself down. Ethan noticed this and took over.)
Ethan: "Sorry Morrigan, no offense against you. But Benny, you really need to run things by us before you just do something like this."
Benny: "What do you mean? You were the one who was worried about us not having a plan. Well, now we have a plan."
(All four looked to Benny with confusion.)
Benny: "…Look. Combinations of people within this group have all worked with each other so far in this game. So, I thought, why don't we just combine into one big alliance?"
Benny [conf]: "My loyalties are with Charlie's Devils to the bitter end. But if we really need to get a gameplan going, this seemed like the most obvious option to me. Morrigan and Sidney are both people who have worked with us throughout the pre-merge. I know there have been some doubts, but they've both done plenty to earn my trust. So, they were the people I naturally thought to bring into our group."
Ethan: "Well…it is important to have a majority sooner rather than later."
Sidney: "Hey, if you all are on board then I'm in."
Morrigan: "The idea does have merit to it."
(Benny is excited his idea seems to be gaining traction. He then turns to Charlie, who had been remaining silent.)
Charlie: "…All right, fine."
Benny: "Sweet!"
Ethan: "Well, now we have a group. Now we just need to coordinate a vote. Any ideas?"
(The group stared in awkward silence for a few moments.)
Charlie: "Look, we don't have time to scramble. Let's just see who wins immunity and go from there."
Sidney: "Works for me."
(With things decided, the group disperses to prepare for the upcoming challenge. As they do though, Charlie pulls Morrigan to the side.)
Charlie: "You better not be screwing with us."
Morrigan: "What ever do you mean?"
Charlie: "You know what I mean."
(Morrigan eyes Charlie down and contemplates her response for a moment.)
Morrigan: "Well, what Benny said wasn't false. The four of us worked quite effectively back on Bianco. And I have no qualms with Sidney, so if she can be trusted I so no issue with this group."
Charlie: "…"
Morrigan: "Or perhaps it is you who takes issue with my inclusion?"
(Not seeming to get any reaction she was looking for; Charlie decides to give up on her interrogations.)
Charlie [conf]: "Morrigan has been an enigma to me. On paper she should be one of the slimiest players in the game. She has been swearing up and down all game she is with us, and everything in my mind is telling me I shouldn't trust her. But so far I have yet to catch her in any bullshit. She's made it no secret she's cutthroat, but she's also been honest to me all game so that's why I've tolerated her being a sort of orbit to our alliance. The idea of working closer with her doesn't sit the best with me, but if she's being genuine then I will trust it. But believe me, I'm still keeping her at an arm's length distance."
Morrigan [conf]: "It's clear with the way she talks to me that Charlie is up to something. I've noticed it all game, but especially now. It feels like she's trying to goad me into something, trying to catch me in a lie. Almost like she can sense if what I'm saying is truthful or not. Normally people would brush off such an ability as being unrealistic, but considering I am a literal succubus from the underworld, you never know what other powers some people in this game could have. I'm starting to be very careful with how I word things to her. We've been in a cold war of sorts, and that's benefited me up to this point. So, if I can keep the peace by avoiding directly lying to her, I will."
~Immunity Challenge, Day 21~
(The merged players slowly file out of a warp pipe to meet DAR at their next challenge area. They arrive at Pianta Village, a bustling town situated on top of a giant mushroom forest. The contestants made their way across a rope bridge and met DAR on the opposite side.)
DAR: "Come on in guys. First off, congratulations to all of your for making it to the merge."
(The ten players share a round of applause.)
DAR: "From here on out you are all playing an individual game. Fighting against each other to be crowned the Sole Survivor. I also want to mention that from now on, every player voted out WILL become a member of our jury who will have a say in who wins the game. Now, let's get to our first individual immunity challenge."
(DAR walks over to the nearby edge of the mushroom tree the village was situated on.)
DAR: "This challenge is a test of your endurance. It may be simple on paper but could be very intimidating in practice. Each of you will hold onto a rope. These ropes are staked in place. You must then lean over the edge of this mushroom, fighting against your own body weight. If you let go, you will fall off the mushroom."
London: "Fall OFF?"
(London peaks over the mushroom's edge, seeing what looks like a bottomless pit to her below.)
DAR: "Don't worry, we have a system of lakitu clouds in place. Should you fall, you will be gently caught and brought back up. Your ropes have been knotted proportional to your height for fairness. As the challenge goes on you will be instructed to move down knots. The last player standing will win immunity and guarantee themselves a spot in the final 9. I'll give you a few moments to get ready."
(The scene cuts to the 10 players all situated with their ropes standing on the edge of the mushroom.)
DAR: "Everyone in position. On my call you must lean back to the distance marked by your first knot. Survivor's ready….GO!"
(Most of the players do as instructed and are leaning at a slight angle over the edge. The only ones who haven't done so are London and Louie.)
DAR: "London, Louie. The challenge has begun. You MUST lean back now, or you will be disqualified."
(London is still clearly fearful and hesitates. As she does, Louie slowly leans back. However, he forgot to grab onto his rope, so he immediately falls off the edge.)
Louie: "AAAAAAAH OH MY GOD THIS IS THE MOST TERRIFYING THING I'VE EVER DONE MY LIFE IS FLASHING BEFORE MY EYES I'M GONNA DIE PLEASE HELP ME!"
(In an instant a lakitu cloud appears underneath Louie and catches him. It then begins to rise, bringing him back to the mushroom.)
Louie: "…that was fun."
London: "Nope! Uh uh! Not happening!"
(London drops her rope and walks away from the edge.)
DAR: "London, you're forfeiting?"
London: "Heck yeah. There's no way I'm doing that. I may not be smart but I'm not an idiot."
(Sidney is seen rolling her eyes.)
Sidney: "Are you serious right now?"
London: "You guys want to kill yourself for immunity, be my guest. But I'm not."
DAR: "Very well. London, come join Louie on the bench. The rest of you, this challenge is on."
(The scene fades indicating a flash forward. A chiron states that 10 minutes have elapsed.)
DAR: "It has been 10 minutes since the challenge began, and our eight players are still in it. By now the strain should be setting in. Sid, how are you feeling?"
Sidney: "I've done worst things DAR. I can keep this up for hours."
(London rolls her eyes on the sit out bench.)
London: "Show off."
DAR: "Well I have a little something to offer you all."
(DAR walks to a cart and pulls out a tray, taking the cover off to reveal it's contents.)
DAR: "For anyone who drops now, I have a freshly baked hot pizza. Any takers."
Charlie: "Screw it."
(Charlie lets go of her rope and drops, being taken by the cloud to DAR.)
DAR: "Pizza was what it took for you Charlie?"
Charlie: "I wasn't winning this any way. May as well get a free meal out of the deal."
DAR: "Fair enough."
Nick: "DAR, if multiple drop do they share the pizza?"
DAR: "Yes."
Nick: "K, I'm in. It's been too long since I've had real protein."
(Nick drops as well and is transported next to Charlie.)
Charlie: "I'd hardly call pizza a good source of protein."
Nick: "At least it tastes good."
DAR: "All right, if there are no other takers the pizza is all yours you two. The remaining six, keep it going."
(Another time skip occurs.)
DAR: "It has now been 20 minutes, and six still remain. All of you must now move your grip down to the second knot on your rope."
(The remaining players do as instructed and slowly inch their hands to their next rope grip, lowering themselves to hang at a harsher angle.)
DAR: "This is the first bump in the road for a lot of endurance challenges. But everyone seems to be making the transition smoothly."
(Suddenly Gale fumbles with her hands and loses her grip, causing her to fall.)
Gale: "Damn it!"
DAR: "And just like that Gale is out. Five remain."
(Once again time skips, this time to the 30-minute mark.)
DAR: "We are now at the half hour mark. And five are still going strong."
(Almost as if on cue, Morrigan falls from her rope.)
DAR: "And without warning, Morrigan is down."
Morrigan: "Damn."
DAR: "What happened Morrigan? Things seemed to be going smoothly."
Morrigan: "Oh, my arms just gave out on me. I just keep my composure well."
Morrigan [conf]: "I knew I would be throwing the first immunity once we merged. No need to paint a target on myself as a challenge beast this early. However, I didn't want it to seem obvious, so I simply waited until a good amount of time passed for 'exhaustion' to be a feasible excuse."
DAR: "Well with that, we're down to four. Anyone else feeling the burn?"
Edward: "Please, I could go at this for forever."
(To show off, Edward takes one hand off the rope, leaving his mechanical arm as the only thing holding him up. However, this seems to be enough as he does not show any signs of struggle.)
Edward: "Piece of cake."
Edward [conf]: "I'm so glad to finally get to show off my skills in these challenges. Everyone always points out my height and assumes I can't handle anything physically. But some modifications to get this bad boy…" (Edward flexes his mechanical prosthetic arm.) "and they're no match. This baby can last for hours."
(The scene returns to another time skip, where it has now been 40 minutes.)
DAR: "Another 10 minutes go by, and it is time to move to your final knot on your rope. Everyone, begin moving now."
(The remaining players begin moving, and all of them are now essentially horizontal over the edge. Ethan shows the most visible strain as he struggles to get into position.)
Benny: "You got this E."
Ethan: "I'm trying, I…"
(Before he could finish, Ethan's grip slips, and he drops off the edge.)
DAR: "And Ethan is out. We are down the three."
Benny: "Dang it."
Edward: "Heh, wimp couldn't handle it."
Sidney: "What's up with you? No need to be a douche about it."
Edward: "Not my fault. I'm here to win after all."
(Another time skip occurs.)
DAR: "We are now at the 50-minute mark. How are y'all doing up there?"
Benny: "Struggling but managing."
Sidney: "In it for the long haul."
DAR: "Ed, you seem to be the only one not having trouble. How is it for you?"
Edward: (Fake yawns.) "It's honestly getting a little boring at this point. These two may as well quit while they're ahead save themselves the trouble."
(Benny and Sidney are clearly getting annoyed at Ed's attitude.)
Sidney: "You think you're better than us cuz you have a robot arm?"
Edward: "I mean…in this case, yeah. Pretty much."
Sidney: "That's borderline cheating anyway. Not exactly something to be proud of."
Edward: "How am I cheating. I didn't ask to be an amputee."
Sidney: "That's not what I meant, and you know it."
Benny: "Sid it's not worth it, just try your best."
(This comment however clearly set Ed off.)
Edward: "What? You think I can't do this on my own? Try me."
(Ed switches so that his human hand is the only one holding onto the rope.)
Edward: "See. I'm a natur-"
(In a matter of seconds Edward loses his grip, sending him off the edge.)
DAR: "And Edward falls, it's down to two."
Sidney: "That's what we call karma."
Benny: "Hey Sid."
Sidney: "Huh?"
Benny: "Do you want it?"
Sidney: "What, like you give me immunity?"
Benny: "Yeah."
Sidney: "Don't throw it. Whoever gets it, gets it."
(Another time skip occurs, the lower third indicating that 56 minutes have elapsed.)
DAR: "We are nearing close to the hour mark, and Benny and Sidney are still up there. It is anyone's game."
Sidney: "How ya holding up Ben?"
Benny: "Good, and you?"
Sidney: "I'm managing."
Benny: "Are you sure you don't need it."
Sidney: "It's ok Benny. Just keep pushing."
Sidney [conf]: "When it got down to the two of us, Benny wanted to throw it and give me immunity and keep me safe. I know Benny is the 'I fight for my friends' type of person, so it was sweet of him to offer. But I don't want to win by someone not trying. I want to win against people who are giving it their all. I'd much rather lose and be in jeopardy than win because one of my friends gave it up for me."
(After going at the challenge for so long, both Benny and Sidney are looking worst for wear.)
DAR: "Their stamina is being pushed to the absolute limit. It's only a matter of time before this is over."
(The camera pans over to the loser bench where everyone is watching in anticipation.)
Ethan: "Come on Benny, come on."
(After a few more moments, Sidney starts to lose grip.)
Sidney: "Crap!"
DAR: "Sidney is shaking, this could be it."
Gale: "You got this Sid!"
(Sidney tries to regain her composure but gets too shaken up and ends up falling.)
DAR: "And Sidney is down! It's over, BENNY WINS IMMUNITY!"
(With the challenge finished, everyone has returned to their tribe mat by the bridge.)
DAR: "After a hard fight, congratulations Benny. You have won individual immunity from tonight's tribal council."
(DAR takes out a beaded necklace with a charm in the shape of a Pianta head on the end of it.)
DAR: "You cannot be voted out tonight, and you are guaranteed a spot in the final nine. The rest of you, good luck. I'll see you all tonight."
~Sunshine Tribe, Day 21~
(The tribe returns to camp. Most of them were tired from a strenuous challenge, but this was mixed with the tension of the impending vote.)
Charlie: "Well, guess it's time to scramble."
(Everyone looked to Charlie and stood in awkward silence.)
Charlie: "What? We're all thinking it any ways. Let's just skip the formalities."
Sidney: "Well at least most of us are even trying at this point."
London: "Oh come on!"
Sidney: "Didn't say I was talking about you."
London: "Girl, you don't even have to at this point."
Sidney: "You know not everything is about you right?"
London: "Ya know what, forget this."
(London throws her bag down in anger.)
London: "I'll be SO glad to write your name down tonight. So go ahead, keep showing everyone the real meanie pants you are!"
(The rest of the cast watched in awe at this public brawl happening before them. Sidney responded with a small chuckle.)
Sidney: "Meanie pants? That's the best you can come up with?"
Nick [conf]: "The tension between London and Sidney has always been there. But it's only amplified since we merged. I guess 'distance makes the heart grow fonder' is a load of crap. It's only a matter of time before they go full blast at each other. Which makes things ALL the more awkward when our current plan requires them both working together."
(After the conflict is mitigated the players disperse to discuss with each other. Gale beckons Sidney to join her in the shelter. Before she does, Sid leans over to Benny.)
Sidney: "Hey, you didn't need to do that today."
Benny: "What?"
Sidney: "Try to throw me the challenge. It was sweet but don't play the game for me, play for yourself."
Benny [conf]: "I'm not a super fan of this game like Ethan is. So, this experience has been very different to me than I think to most of the others. So, when it was down to us in the challenge, I wanted to give it to Sidney. I wasn't thinking of self preservation at the time, I was thinking 'damn my arms hurt, hey my friend is still here maybe I can help her'. If Sid didn't push me to stay on my arms probably would've turned into limp noodles."
(Sidney approaches Gale in the shelter.)
Gale: "Why do you do this Sid?"
Sidney: "I'm sorry, what!? What do you mean why do I do this?"
Gale: "You always have to be so confrontational. You're going to ruin the plan."
Sidney: "Ok, news flash Gale. Your plan was doomed from the get-go."
Gale: "What do you…"
Sidney: "Sorry Gale, but it's not happening."
Sidney [conf]: "I've tried to tolerate London. I've been tolerating her for over 20 days. But she drives me to the end of my rope. She didn't even put an ounce of effort in today's challenge. Hell, I can't even trust her to boil rice if it inconvenienced her. I don't know how I could have faith in her when it comes to my place in the game."
Gale: "Sid…"
Sidney: "I'm sorry Gale. Look, I've got a group together. We're five, with you that makes majority. I can get you in and we'll be in a good place."
Gale: "…"
Sidney: "If not then I guess we're not voting together tonight. But I have to put my foot down here."
Gale: "…"
Sidney: "Look just…just consider it ok. At least for tonight."
Gale: "…fine."
Sidney: "Wait. Fine as in…"
Gale: "Fine as in I'll vote with you."
Sidney: "Really!?"
Gale: "You don't need to act so shocked."
Sidney: "Sorry it's just…never mind."
(Gale turns to her side, seeming to contemplate her decision. Sidney gives her a pat on her shoulder.)
Sidney: "Thank you, seriously."
Gale: "Oh come on, don't got all sappy on me."
Sidney: "I'm serious. I know how hard it is for you to back down, so really. It means a lot."
(The two girls share a hug before going their separate ways.)
Gale [conf]: "When I came into the game with Sid I expected us to be a dynamic duo. Ride or dies to the end. We have very different personalities, but she's someone I know I can rely on in the real world. However, this isn't the real world. This is a game where making the right move and the right time is key, and Sidney is making that increasingly more difficult. I'm really starting to question if working so close with her was a good idea."
(After their talk Sidney is seen walking towards the water well where Ethan, Charlie and Morrigan seemed to be waiting for her.)
Charlie: "Great, now we're all here."
Sidney: "What about Benny?"
Ethan: "I'll fill him in. We need to come up with a plan now."
Ethan [conf]: "I can't believe we are hours away from the vote and still have not even talked about who we are potentially voting for. This merge has been a cluster of groups all smashing into one another and everyone trying to figure out where exactly they stand. And I hate it! The scrambling just makes me even more nervous that things are gonna turn South for me and my allies sooner rather than later.
Morrigan: "Well, we have five options for a target now."
Ethan: "Actually…I kinda wanted to veto London as an option if possible."
Morrigan: "May I ask why?"
Ethan: "It may sound dumb, but I feel like I owe it to her. She's part of the reason me and Benny got together. I feel like I owe her at least one round of safety."
Morrigan: "Hmm…I see."
Charlie: "Well I'm ok with that. Though Sid…"
Sidney: "Actually, I wasn't going to suggest London any way."
Charlie: "…oh wow, that's actually not bullshit."
Sidney [conf]: "If I had to pick someone I wanted to vote out the most on a personal basis, without a doubt it's London. But I just made amends with Gale and got us both on the same page. She compromised with me to vote together, so I'm willing to give the same respect in return. I may not trust either of them, but I know Gale is close with Nick and London. So, I won't force her to turn on one of them if she's not comfortable with it. The only tricky part is…that only really leaves one option on the table."
Ethan: "Who did you have in mind then?"
Sidney: "I was actually thinking Edward."
Morrigan: "Interesting. May I ask why him in particular?"
Sidney: "I mean, on top of him being a complete loner. Did you see him in the challenge!? Not only was he an ass, he was a total beast."
Charlie: "He certainly didn't perform like that when we were tribemates, that's for sure."
Ethan: "Works for me. Anything as long as we all get on the same page."
Morrigan: "Then I suppose we've reached a decision."
Charlie: "That's all and good. But if my math is right our votes are only at five. That ain't enough yet right?"
Sidney: "If we need a sixth I can talk to Gale."
Morrigan: "I also have a few options I can talk to."
(Charlie side eyes Morrigan at this comment.)
Ethan: "All right. Let's break. I'll fill in Benny, you two try and get an extra vote."
(The group goes to divide and conquer. As they leave though, Morrigan looks back to ensure she isn't being followed.)
Morrigan [conf]: "This has been quite an enlightening day. Not only am I learning the dynamics of the former Biancos firsthand, but DAR gave some interesting insight on the challenge. The jury is starting tonight, meaning most likely this is a final three. That means no matter how much I have Benny in my back pocket, coming into an alliance that's already established to at least a core trio isn't going to help me in the long run. Plus considering Benny almost gave immunity to Sid, I'm clearly not very high on this totem poll."
(Morrigan finds Edward sitting alone down at the beach.)
Morrigan: "Finally Edward, there you are."
Edward: "Geez, hello to you to."
Morrigan: "You can continue sulking later. We've got work to do."
Edward: "Ok girl chill. I know we're allies but that doesn't mean you can just drag me to do your dirty work."
Morrigan: "Very well. But I'll have you know it is in fact your neck on the chopping block right now."
Edward: "Wait what!?...Crap!"
Edward [conf]: "I knew what happened at the challenge today would come back to bite me. I'm kicking myself but I can't help it. This was the first challenge where I was fighting for myself, and I truly felt like I was proving myself. The adrenaline just kicked in, and…I guess I bit off more than I can chew again…ya know maybe Winry was right when she said she needs to keep me on a leash."
(Elsewhere in camp Gale, London and Nick are discussing their plan with each other. Gale and Nick are in more deep discussion, while London is nearby filing her nails and listening in.)
Nick: "So, how'd it go with Sidney?"
Gale: "It…could've gone better."
Nick: "Welp, there goes banking on her vote."
London: "I mean, it's not like she as gonna vote for herself anyway."
Gale: "…What do you mean by that London?"
London: "What do you mean what do I mean? Sidney can't vote with us if we're voting her out. Even I know that. Ya know, maybe you guys should start thinking a little more."
Gale: "Who said we were voting out Sidney?"
London: "Um…me? I think? Nicky, it was me right?"
Nick: "London, we need to talk about this."
London: "Ok. Sidney sucks, so we'll vote her out. Sounds good? Good. Great talk guys."
London [conf]: "I have had it up to HERE with Sidney's bullying. People really should've learned from Daffy. Being a jerk doesn't get you far. If you cross me, then I'm going to be even crossier you back…that made sense, right?" (The camera moves side to side as if to mimic the head motion of answering no.) "Aw dang it. I spent all afternoon thinking that up to."
Gale: "London, we can't…"
Nick: "Gale…I don't think you're going to get anywhere."
Gale: "You can't be serious."
Nick: "You know London. Once she has her mind set on something, nothing's getting her to change it. And we can't split our vote from her, otherwise we're screwed numbers wise."
Gale: "…"
Nick: "Plus if Sidney's not gonna work with us any way, I don't see a reason to stick our necks out for her."
Nick [conf]: "London definitely thinks she's the princess of our alliance, whatever she says goes. And it is incredibly annoying at times…ok all the time. But in this case I can use it to my benefit. This could be a true test of Gale's loyalty. I know she and Sidney have an out of game connection. So, this vote will prove where Gale's priorities really lie."
Gale: "Well…there's only three of us anyway. How are we going to get the rest of the votes?"
Morrigan: "I believe we can help with that."
(From the trees behind the trio appears two shadowy figures. As they enter the scene they reveal themselves to be Morrigan and Edward approaching.)
Nick: "What do you two want?"
Morrigan: "A simple deal perhaps. The vote is coming soon, and it appears you all are in need of some numbers."
London: "The more the merrier. Yay us!"
Gale: "Woah, hold on London. This seems too good to be true. Why did you even come to us in the first place?"
Edward: "Cuz the other side wants my ass out tonight, and I'd much rather not just sit back and let that happen."
Nick: "Other side?"
Morrigan: "Yes, there appears to be a group forming and they are dangerously close to attaining a majority."
Edward: "The love birds, Charlie and Sidney seem to have been tight ever since they swapped. Now may be our only chance to break them up."
London: "Can we still vote Sidney?"
Morrigan: "Uh…sure?"
London: "Yay!"
(London jumps up and down in excitement. But Gale is clearly becoming more and more uncomfortable.)
Gale: "Well uh…that's still only five. We still need one more."
Edward: "Five? Don't you guys have Louie?"
London: "Who?"
Edward: "Ya know, Louie. Small little spacesuit guy with the bottomless stomach."
Nick: "Wait, we thought he was with you guys."
Morrigan: "…oh don't tell me."
(The scene cuts back to the challenge area at Pianta Village. Louie is seen fast asleep on a lakitu cloud. It then cuts back to the previous group.)
Morrigan: "No matter. We'll simply just have to fill him in once production fetches him…preferably BEFORE tribal council!"
(Morrigan flashes an angry glare directly at the camera filming her. The camera shutters for a moment.)
Camerman: "Uh….uh….YES M'AM!"
(The cameraman drops the camera, leaving it's view of only the sand below the people's feet. Eventually the camera is picked up by an additional cameraman. As it rises into a lifted position, it focuses on Gale who is clearly stuck in a train of thought.)
Gale [conf]: "I'm now stuck between a rock and a hard place. I have my loyalty to the Sirenas, and for as grating as they can be we've been a bond of trust since the swap. And I have my loyalty to Sidney. I hoped it would be smooth sailing to just combine them, but with them both being at odds with each other I don't even know what I'm going to do. My heart says I need to stick by Sidney's side, but my brain can't help but think of which one is actually the better game move."
(After coming to a conclusion, the group disperses. Gale leaves to go fill her canteen and runs into Sidney on the way.)
Sidney: "Oh great, I was just hoping to find you."
Gale: "Hey Sid, I…"
Sidney: "We don't have a lot of time, but I talked to the guys. I know you like Nick and London, so I managed to get the target onto Ed. I hope that's ok with you."
Gale: "You kept the target of London?"
Sidney: "Well I don't have to be petty all the time now do I?"
Gale: (She chuckles.) "I guess not."
Sidney: "So, you still in?"
(Gale contemplates her answer for a moment.)
Gale: "Yeah, I am."
Sidney: "Great!" (Sidney turns to leave but pauses for a moment.) "Hey, thanks again. Really, I really appreciate this."
Gale: "Yeah…no problem."
Gale [conf]: "It now feels like I'm in a lose-lose situation. I didn't want to blatantly lie to Sidney's face, but I can't exactly go 'hey I'm contemplating voting you off tonight' and not have it blow up. But also, if I do vote with her, I'm basically agreeing to go to rocks to save her. I told myself coming in I would not put my place in this game up to chance, but this is much more complicated of a situation than I thought it'd be."
(Gale was left alone, contemplating her situation. Soon Morrigan approaches her.)
Morrigan: "Penny for your thoughts?"
Gale: "Why do you think I need that?"
Morrigan: "Call it intuition."
Morrigan [conf]: "Everyone's been brushing off Gale, but I admit I respect her at least a little. She's the only one here who's playing on my level of gameplay…well ok. She's doing it much more messily but still; I can at least respect her as another hard-fought woman working her ass off in this game."
Morrigan: "I'll be transparent. I think you and I are cut from the same cloth when it comes to playing this game."
Gale: "I'm listening."
Morrigan: "But it was also blatantly clear you weren't on board with our planning back there."
Gale: "…How much do you know?"
Morrigan: "Is there something to know?"
Gale: "…I can trust you?"
Morrigan: "Probably as much as I can trust you right now."
Gale: "…All right."
Gale [conf]: "I've basically been flying solo strategically since we merged. Sidney's got her second wind, and even Nick and London won't take in my input. So, when Morrigan approached me, I was apprehensive to just blindly trust her. But I'm running out of options at this point"
Gale: "Let's just leave it at I worked closely with Sidney for a while before the swap. I wanted to continue working with her, but our plans have gone in different directions. Even still, it would be hard for me to actually write her name."
Morrigan: "Any chance you'd throw a vote away on someone else?"
Gale: "That's pretty much a vote for her at that point, since it would just guarantee her boot."
Morrigan: "I see…"
(Morrigan looks further down the beach and sees Sidney talking with Ethan and Benny. She ponders for a moment, before her eyes spark.)
Morrigan: "I think I have an idea."
(She whispers something to Gale.)
Gale: "No way, you think…"
Morrigan: "I don't think, I know."
Gale: "Will it work?"
Morrigan: "I have high belief it will."
Gale: "…this just got interesting"
Morrigan [conf]: "She may be playing hard, but Gale still has blind spots in her judgement. Apparently Sidney is her biggest one. And I may just have a way to use that to get the vote in my favor tonight."
Gale [conf]: "This vote is going to be pivotal for my games, and a lot of options have opened up for me. It may not be an easy choice, but it is time for me to make the decision for me and my game. I didn't come here to lose."
Morrigan & Gale's confessionals split screen to appear at the same time: "It's game on!"
~Tribal Council, Day 21~
DAR: "Welcome players to your first tribal council as a merged tribe. Before I get to anything I have to ask, what did you guys decide on your tribe's name to be?"
London: "Oh! Oh! Me! Pick me!"
DAR: "Yes London."
London: "We are the 'Sunshine Tribe'! It's brilliant, it's bright, it's beautiful. Just like me. Yay me!"
(Sidney visibly rolls her eyes.)
DAR: "I see…seems like that name wasn't as big of a hit as London makes it out to be?"
Gale: "I'm fine with it."
Edward: "Yeah, no problems here."
Sidney: "At least she didn't name it after herself."
DAR: "What do you mean by that Sidney?"
Sidney: "It's in London's DNA to be arrogant and self-aggrandizing. Pretty much every name she suggested before that had some word or phrase praising her."
London: "You don't have to pick on me and call me self-agriculturing! You just hate me just cuz I'm prettier you."
Sidney: "My point exactly."
DAR: "Nick, it seems clear there is some tension within the tribe already. Has this been an ongoing situation?"
Nick: "They've disliked each other ever since we were on the old Ricco tribe together. But the merge had multiplied their rivalry exponentially."
DAR: "So it seems like this big change in the game has led to a lot of chaos."
Benny: "I wouldn't say that completely."
DAR: "How so Benny?"
Benny: "Yes there's been drama between London and Sid. But that's only really been a part of what's been happening. The merge is a milestone in this game, and I think most of us have been making the most of it and leave the tribe drama in the past."
DAR: "Morrigan, is that true? Has the merge wiped the slate clean?"
Morrigan: "Well the merge is definitely a point of change for all of our games. But I wouldn't say it renders the tribal phase moot either. We were all sporadic and miscellaneous groups who just crashed into each other and now have to make sense of what to do. They may not be rigid, but tribal lines still play some factor in that. If even as far as there just some of us here who haven't met each other until a few days ago."
DAR: "Ethan, you are all coming from three tribes turning into one. How much does that play a factor in tonight's vote?"
Ethan: "Honestly, I wish I could give you an answer to that DAR."
DAR: "Have there not been talks of the vote?"
Ethan: "Oh there have been. But like Morrigan said, before the merge we were a bunch of small groups playing our own games. So, when we're now forced to all play the same game, there's been a scatter to figure out who exactly is playing with who and where lines are going to be drawn. I wouldn't even say anything solid has been laid until hours before we came here."
DAR: "So from the sounds of it, tonight's vote is going to be chaos theory in action. Is that right?"
Ethan: "God I hope not. I don't know about the others, but I've been going kinda nuts that no one has had any solid discussions until last minute."
(Benny holds onto Ethan's hand to keep him grounded.)
DAR: "Has anyone else been feeling the stress of tonight's vote, given it seems like it's going to be a crucial vote to set the dynamics of the merge."
London: "Not particularly. SOME people have made the decision pretty easy."
DAR: "Care to elaborate London?"
Sidney: "No need to play detective DAR, it's pretty obvious she means me."
(A look of surprise and concern took over Benny's face.)
DAR: "Benny, you just had a pretty strong reaction to that."
Benny: "Well yeah. I mean I knew the two girls weren't on the same page, but this was the first I've heard of Sidney being in trouble."
Ethan: "Like I said, with how fast paced this day has been a lot of us are being left out of the loop of things."
DAR: "Charlie, do you feel like you're in the loop?'
Charlie: "I'd like to think so. I know groups have been forming, and they've been growing bigger by the day. I have on good faith the people I were talking to weren't pulling the wool over my eyes, so now it's a matter of just seeing if the plans work."
DAR: "What about you Ed? Has being a merged tribe forced you to adapt in any way?"
Edward: "I think a lot of things forced me to adapt DAR. I lost everyone I was working with before the merge even began, so I came in as a free agent. I know I've been…off-putting to say it lightly. And that's my biggest hurdle I need to overcome, and not let my arrogance or anger take over."
DAR: "Gale, Edward brings up the idea that any off-putting behavior could make you a potential target. Is there merit to that?"
Gale: "On paper I think there should be more to a vote than just 'I don't like this person'. Especially at this point when we have the jury and final to take into consideration. But this round, yeah I think anything can really put you in jeopardy. People are looking for a way to survive this vote and collect whatever pieces are left once we get back to camp. So, if there is an easy option of 'Hey, we don't like this person. Let's just come together and vote them out' I can see how it's tempting."
DAR: "Morrigan, it seems like tonight's vote is going to be a crapshoot. Do you feel safe hearing all of this?"
Morrigan: "I've learned to never feel safe in this game DAR. In all the chaos, the snake often bites who you least expect."
(As DAR and Morrigan are talking, Benny leans over to Sidney and whispers to her.)
Benny: "Do you need the necklace?"
Sidney: "Don't you dare. They'll just switch to you instead."
Benny: "…"
DAR: "Well, it seems like that's all we're going to get about the vote. Before we vote, Benny won immunity and cannot be voted out."
(Benny stands up, causing a stir from both Ethan and Sidney.)
Benny: "DAR, I…"
Sidney: "Benny, I said don't do this."
Benny: "Sid it's my necklace, I can…"
(Benny is cut off by Ethan grabbing his hand to get his attention.)
Ethan: "Benny don't, please."
Benny: "…all right."
(Benny fidgets back into his seat.)
DAR: "All right. If there's nothing else, it's time to vote."
(One by one the tribe gets up and casts their votes.)
London (Votes for Sidney): "I don't know what I did to you, but I don't care. You probably deserved it."
Sidney (Votes for Edward): "I kinda wish I got to know you. But this is my only choice to vote for right now. Sorry you were such a prick that no one went to bat for you."
Gale: "Tonight is when this game begins. This vote is probably the most important one for my game, and it's make or break time. I'm sorry, I really am. But I can't screw this up."
DAR: "All right, I'll get the votes."
(DAR retrieves the voting urn and returns to his seat.)
DAR: "Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person with the most eligible votes will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. If anyone has an idol and wants to play it, now is the time to do so."
(No one moves.)
DAR: "All right, I'll read the votes."
…
…
…
DAR: "First vote…Sidney."
Sidney: "Saw it coming."
…
…
…
DAR: "Edward. That's 1 vote Edward, 1 vote Sidney."
…
…
…
DAR: "Edward."
…
…
…
DAR: "Ed. That's 3 votes Ed, 1 vote Sid."
(Ed glances over at Morrigan looking concerned. Morrigan doesn't react, but this was noticed by Charlie.)
Charlie: (Under her breath.) "What are you…"
DAR: "The next vote…is for Ethan."
Benny/Charlie/Ethan/London/Sidney: "What!?"
DAR: "…Ethan."
Benny: "Wait London, why are you shocked?"
London: "What do you mean, I voted Sid like I said I would!"
DAR: "…Ethan. We're tied 3 votes for Edward and Ethan, 1 for Sid."
Nick: "London, you were supposed to vote with us!"
London: "I thought you were joking!"
DAR: "Edward. That's 4 votes Edward, 3 for Ethan, 1 for Sidney, 1 vote left."
Ethan: "Oh my gosh, I knew it, I knew we wasted too much time!"
Sidney: "How did you get a fourth vote anyway?"
Charlie: "I know exactly how."
(Charlie glares at Morrigan, who simply winks in her direction.)
Sidney: "Guys it's fine. London split her vote; we have five. We're majority."
Edward: "Damn it London!"
London: "Why didn't y'all just vote Sidney!?"
Morrigan: "I wouldn't be so sure we're in trouble…"
Sidney: "What?"
(As DAR pulls out the final vote, Sidney looks over to Gale who stays stone faced looking forward.)
DAR: "Final vote…and the seventh player voted out, and the first member of the jury…Ethan, you need to bring me your torch."
Sidney: "What the…Gale!?"
(Gale did not respond. She closed her eyes, not even looking at Sidney. Ethan looked ready to break, but before he could it was actually Benny who burst into tears.)
Ethan: "Benny!"
Benny: "I..I..I should've given it to you. I should've let you have immunity."
DAR: "Ethan, you need to bring me your torch."
Benny: "No! Wait, I'll…I quit to keep Ethan in."
(Everyone gasped in shock.)
DAR: "Benny, what are you saying?"
Benny: "Being on this show was Ethan's dream, not mine. He should be the one who stays here."
Sidney: "Benny, don't do this."
London: "Seriously, this isn't right."
Benny: "I've made up my mind, I…"
Ethan: "Benny stop!"
(Before anything could happen, Ethan grabs Benny and turns him so that they are facing each other. Ethan's arms holding Benny's shoulders.)
Ethan: "Look at me, you are not leaving this game. I am, and I am ok with that."
Benny: "But…but this is…"
Ethan: "You came out here for my sake, but I don't need you to do that anymore. You deserve to play your own game just as much as I do. Mine ends here, but that doesn't mean yours needs to. You stay, and you fight."
Benny: "…for both of us?"
Ethan: "No…for you."
(Ethan gives Benny a kiss on the cheek, then goes to bring his torch to DAR.)
Ethan: "All right DAR, I'm ready."
DAR: "Ethan, the tribe has spoken." (He snuffs her torch.) "It's time for you to go."
Ethan: "Good luck guys. It's gonna get messy."
(Ethan waved goodbye and left.)
DAR: "I think it's clear the merge has been a major shake up to the game. The question is, where will you stand when dust settles from tonight. Good night."
(The remaining players collect their things and walk back towards their camp.)
Ethan [final worlds]: "I can't say tonight didn't sting, because it does. Hard. Do I have some regrets on what happened, maybe. But I wouldn't change a thing. This experience has been life changing in so many ways. Ways that I never even thought it would be. I know things are going to be tricky to explain when I get home, but going through this experience with Benny has been amazing. I may have a lot to still figure out, but I'll be rooting for him from the jury. I just hope he can keep up, cuz with these people this game is gonna be a wild ride."
~Votes~
