Funifura introduced herself, She wore the same school uniform, and she had flowing bangs and straight hair that she tied into pigtails, she also tied her robe at her waist instead of the norm
"I am called Dodonko! I am the foremost crimson demon at… at… what was it called again?" She forgot her introduction
"You have a brother complex?" Kazuma asked Funifura
"I don't know what to call it yet! I don't have a cool nickname!" Funifura retaliated, she took the question as an offensive
"That's… commendable?" Gohan found brother complexes to be weird but at the end of the day, it's family, so it's understandable

"As long as there's light in my eyes, you will not pass!" Darkness held her sword
"Darkness! Good Job on holding up! I got help from the village!" Kazuma announced as he, Aqua and Megumin came in with extra allies
"K-Kazuma! You're already here?" Darkness sounded disappointed, "I came here because I was sad there were no male orcs, so I came to search for something exciting, and even the Devil King's general is a woman! What is wrong with this journey?!"
"Would you shut up for a second?! You're ruining that impressive performance!" Kazuma retaliated
"I see. Buying time for your allies to show up, huh?" the Devil King general now identified as Sylvia, said, "Was not landing any attacks a part of your act too?" Sylvia asked
"i-I guess, I can't keep the facade up any longer," Darkness said, convincing Sylvia that all of that was an act
Gohan slithered out from between the trees, "Yo." he greeted
"Where were you?" Kazuma asked
"I lost my way, sorry"
"You just had to follow us, How did you lose your way?!"
"Food." Gohan kept his answers minimal, he then noticed the villagers all gathered, "What's going on? Why are the people of the village here?"
"That's a Devil King's general," Megumin pointed to Sylvia, which prompted Gohan to jump out of the bushes and have his martial arts stand
"Who is that? A rookie?" Sylvia asked, disregarding Gohan completely
"Listen, you're Sylvia, right? That crusader is an accomplished Warrior who fought and beat the Devil King's general, Vanir" Kazuma showed off Darkness' impressive performance
"Vanir?! I heard he never came back from Axel!" Sylvia started sweating, "Was that because of you people?!"
"Yeah, Megumin finished him off" Kazuma credited Megumin, who smiled
"He's dead?!" the monsters were shocked,

"That's not all, the Dullahan, Verdia, and Hans the deadly poison, and even the mobile fortress destroyer… were all beaten to a pulp by him!" Kazuma said as he pointed toward Gohan
"I guess I did…. Hehe, he…" Gohan laughed awkwardly, a bit shy of the attention he was getting
"Verdia and Hans too?!" Sylvia was shocked at such information, For Devil King generals to be disposed of by one party is shocking
"But if I take into account how our communications were cut off with Hans after he went to Arcanretia, it seems plausible" Sylvia calculated the timings and the truth of his words

The attacks were chasing the monsters who were fleeing for their lives now, Kazuma saw that and had a sigh of relief, "I should buy Mitsurugi bubbly the next time I see him"
"I can't believe that worked" Gohan was surprised Kazuma off by impersonating someone

"Hey, Wait! Stop there! Wait, damn it!" Sylvia's voice deepened a bit on that last part, before the door fully closed shut, leaving her in the darkness

"Kazuma, are you okay? Where's Sylvia?" Darkness asked twice before Kazuma could even reply
"Yo, I managed to lock Sylvia in there, with a bit of skill full deceit," he said, as Sylvia was screaming behind the door in Japanese
"Give her a month or so, and she's bound to quiet down.." He said like it's not a big deal
"Devil king general… killed by starvation…"
"good job outsider, you managed to capture Sylvia when we couldn't" Bukkororii complimented Kazuma, who was sweating rivers before he gave a thumbs-up
"Isn't there a scary weapon hidden in this place?" Aqua asked, eerie of the scenario
"Even we weren't able to activate it, we'll be fine" Bukkororii assured
"If Sylvia somehow activates it, I'll run a lap around the village while doing a handstand" Soketto basically challenged
"Whoa, don't set flags" Kazuma warned, it always happened, and he didn't think it'd stop now
"Oh don't worry Kazuma, you defeated one of the devil king's generals, you basically did it yourself this time, but since we are a party, we'll split the reward, I wonder what I should buy when I head back to Axel?" Aqua wondered with joy splattered on her face, already praising Kazuma's achievement
"Speaking of that, where the hell is Gohan? He's not here since they attacked again" Kazuma asked as he pointed at Sylvia, who now has shut up
"He's still with Yunyun, presumably sleeping" Megumin informed
'That bastard! I almost get killed while he's resting!' Kazuma was a bit irritated about that
The ground started shaking, and Aqua fell
"Why do you always do this?! We need to leave! Quick!" Kazima criticised their efforts of always tempting fate, as the group ran away from the factory, it exploded into bits, and Bukkorori and soketto both teleported to safety
"Did you think I'd take that weapon and leave? I can assimilate anything into my body, weapons and anything else! My name is Sylvia, the growth chimera, who has obtained ultimate power!" Sylvia now was even more naked, however, her whole lower body was serpent-like, caterpillar-like.
"K-k-Kazuma, this is bad! We need to leave, now!" Megumin warned, as Aqua coughed because of the dust, Bukkorori and Soketto ran away, "The village is doomed! Run away!" they said as they left
"We had ups and downs, but I have this power because of you. So I'll spare you, just watch as I destroy this village off of the map" Sylvia said, not looking threatening, more like she's definitely gonna do it
She slithered around and smashed into every building possible, before finally climbing up a tall tower, "finally, time for some well-deserved payback!" she said as she blew fire, laying complete waste to the village
The goblins and monsters saw that from afar "Look! That's Sylvia Sama! She got hold of the mage killer!" the beasts then started chanting Sylvia's name, in delight of course.
Sylvia continued to lay waste to the whole village leaving nothing to be salvaged. The crimson demons watched atop the hills as their village is crumbling
"I never thought the seal would be broken…" Yunyun's father said
"village chief!" The group arrived next to the crimson demons,
"Oh, our visitors, we're ashamed this happened while you were here.." the village chief apologized
"The village… Is burning…" Arue looked sombre
'I'm sorry, this is all my fault I released this thing…' Kazuma apologized from inside his heart, "Is there really nothing we can do?" he asked
"The mage killer does have one countermeasure!" Arue revealed as she posed, she looked like she posed 24/7
"There are ancient ruins that no one was able to decipher" the village chief said
"There are?! Let's head there now!" Kazuma ordered
Sylvia then released more projectiles, "What did she hit?" Megumin asked as she tried to get a look
"that was near your house!"
"Komekko is still there!" She exclaimed, worried about her little sister
"Megumin, take Kazuma and the others to the ruins, I'll protect your family… it's a knight's duty after all" Darkness ordered around
"Please, save komekko"
"All right, this is do or die, let's go!" Kazuma stated hurriedly
" "Do or die", huh? For outsiders, you sure understand our culture well" the village chief commended Kazuma and the group
"This is the kind of situation we are prepared for!" Arue stated
"Why don't we show her what we crimson demons can do?!" Bukkororii encouraged the crimson demons
'I guess this is the kind of situation they like themselves in…' Kazuma's sweat dropped, Gohan was still sleeping next to the bushes, oblivious to the noise around him, he was sound asleep.
"Hey, sorry to interrupt your big speeches, but I don't like any of this." Aqua interrupted, "My job is to provide support from a safe position" Kazuma then shut her up with his forearm after slamming it on her face,
"Shut up! You're coming with us, you're in this party too!" Kazuma demanded, leaving no room for argument
"No!"

"Here we are, Vanir San! I'm sure the craftsman I know can help you!" Wiz reassured Vanir, but that only seemed to deepen his doubts
"That confidence makes me anxious, especially since it's coming from you.." Vanir shot back
"No need to be anxious, here we are - AH" she yelled as she saw the absolute devastation that the village was in
The sky was orange with a hue of red, it was like the end of times had hit the planet, the air started to become suffocating, and Gohan started to turn in his sleep, he was experiencing uncomfortable breathing, although the amount of sulphur was not enough to harm him, it's definitely disrupting his breathing, his eyes started to twitch from the smoke
Kazuma was in the ruins mentioned by the chief, he was checking out the inscriptions as instructed, and there was a big boulder that had anime girl drawings on it
"This is messed up…" he said
"Kazuma, over here!" Megumin called out
Behind the boulder were the true inscriptions, a language that seemed to look complicated
"Hey, this is Japanese!" Kazuma immediately recognized that writing
"Japa- What?" Megumin was confused
"Don't worry about it…" Kazuma dismissed her confusion
Aqua started to read the inscriptions, it talked about how a researcher was ordered by the king to create weapons that would destroy the devil king, the researcher created the "Weapons" which were really just modified humans, they found the prototype the researcher made of the mage killer and immediately announced their hatred for it
While Aqua was reading, Kazuma covered Megumin's ears, refusing to let her hear this
"I feel like I should… apologize…" Aqua was shocked by what was written herself
"quit sending dumbasses into this world! From the destroy to the mage killer, do you know how bad this guy messed up?!" Kazuma yelled at Aqua
"What did it say, what happened?" Megumin was in the dark about the matter
"The crimson demons used the mage killer as a laundry dryer, are they idiots?!" Kazuma criticized
Back in the village…
"Burn, Burn! Let this village of lunatics burn to the ground!" She laughed magically
"You look awesome Sylvia Sama!" one monster complimented as well as the others followed
"You guys! I'm sorry you had it rough until now! I made it this far because of you, you're the best army I could've asked for!" Sylvia cried tears for her army
"This ends now!" the crimson demons called out as they jumped stylishly, they all introduced themselves little by little (it's repetitive honestly) they unleashed a heavy magic attack
"Burning flash!" it looked like a mix of wind and lightning, it eradicated every monster it touched, truly magnificent magic.
However, so they thought. Sylvia has wrapped herself around her army of goblins to save them.
"Seems like… this won't be so easy…" Hiropon was worried
"Hey, you didn't even get rid of the goblins!" Furniture chastised
"This magic weapon is magnificent! Now the crimson demons will lose to the very power they safeguarded!" Sylvia laughed once more, "Now… despair" She pointed towards the crimson demons, "Ancient dispel" A field of blue energy was cast around the crimson demons, which seemed to physically do no damage
"That scared me" Funifura sighed in relief
"Don't relax yet! Keep lighting her up!"
Funifura brought her guard up, "Diabolic flames, run wild! Inferno!" she awaited a big sprawl of fire, only for nothing to come out, which surprised her
"Our magic! It's gone!"
"w-we can't teleport either!"
"This is bad! Run for it!" the chief commanded, the crimson demons hit the sprints and begged for whatever god existed to escape alive, they valued their lives after all
"Look! The crimson demons are a bunch of oafs without their magic!" the goblins celebrated in their mockery before rushing in for the attack
"Hurry!" Dodonko told Funifura to run faster
"Slow down!" Funifura couldn't. That was the maximum of her speed, she had none more, she suddenly tripped on a rock and fell
"Funifura!" Dodonko was worried for her friend
"Whatever is the matter? Ladies? How sad, if you were cute boys I would've spared you, but your people have made a mockery of us for too long" Sylvia wanted revenge, the goblins were ready to attack until…
"Light of sabre!"
"Masenko!"
Two beams of yellow energy, struck, one hit the rocks the other directly hit the monsters, which caused devastating damage
"That's enough of you, devil king, General Sylvia!" Yunyun warned
"This ends now!" Gohan was already angry, they destroyed the village that he liked so much
"Yunyun? Gohan?" Funifura and Dodonko were surprised
"That's the chief's daughter, and that other visitor!"
"Idiots! What are you doing?" Dodonko asked
"I can't abandon my friends," Yunyun said
Gohan immediately jumped down, scooped up both the ladies and reappeared next to Yunyun,
"a friend of Yunyun's is a friend of mine" Gohan smiled as he put them down, Dodonko was not bothered about it, but Funifura was really embarrassed, as red as a tomato, some would say…
"I am called Yunyun! Archwizard, wielder of advanced magic! The foremost mage amongst the crimson demons, the future leader of this village!" Yunyun introduced herself crimson-demon style, an anime-esque explosion from behind her
Gohan's sweat dropped at the scene in front of him 'Where did that explosion come from anyway' he sighed
"My daughter! She used to be so embarrassed about giving her introduction!" The village chief cried
"See that? That's my student right there! I'm the one who taught her!"
"Yunyun!"
"You can do it!" the crimson demons started chanting Yunyun's name, in hopes of giving her the courage
"I challenge you to a duel, Sylvia!" Yunyun challenged
"How adorable, however, I hate cute adorable things like you!" Sylvia dashed towards Yunyun, which surprised her a bit
"My crimson eyes will overlook no evil!" Yunyun… started to run for her life, "That's my crimson fate!"
"Scope set!" Kazuma said, "We arrived just in time!" he was aiming the gun that the clothes shop owner used as a laundry dryer
"And I thought it was nothing more than a laundry dryer"
"So that's my son-in-law…" Hyoizaburo said, finding Kazuma to be quite brave and intelligent in his own right
"Sylvia… it's been fun!" Kazuma had set up the scope which helped him aim, "Snipe!" he pulled the trigger, which released nothing but dust
"what the hell?! It's broken!"
"Hold on, let me see, with things like this, you just need to" Darkness proceeded to punch the gun over and over before Kazuma stopped her from completely wrecking the thing
"Stop it!" he said
"Hey, I imbued that thing with a lot of magic energy, what gives?!" Aqua was infuriated by the weapon
"We need to help Yunyun before she's actually in trouble!" Kazuma exclaimed in a hurried tone
"Hohoho!" Megumin laughed as she dispatched her robe, looking cool, "The star of the show has arrived" As if she spoke for fate itself, Gohan flew in between Sylvia and Yunyun and landed a kick so hard, that bones could be heard broken from afar, Sylvia was sent flying into the trees
"Yunyun, you alright?" Gohan needed to be sure Yunyun's fine
"Yeah… I'm okay, just a bit… out of breath" Yunyun struggled to get her breathing on track
"Gohan!" Kazuma called out as he ran towards Gohan
"Oh, Kazuma, been a while, hasn't it?" he smiled
"You bastard! This all happened while you were asleep, couldn't you at least wake up when you heard fires?!" Kazuma pinched Gohan's ears
"Ow, ow ow! I'm sorry, it won't happen again I promise!" Gohan cried tears of pain
"You bastard!" Sylvia slithered out of the forest with a roar, catching everyone but Megumin off guard
"I am called Megumin! I am supreme and almighty in my dominion! She who calls down the power of the very heavens themselves!
It comes! It comes! The hordes of flame…
Now display your force, by my command!" she chanted
"Explosion!" her wand was prepared to power shoot her explosion, however instead of hitting Sylvia who staggered through her awe from the magical power displayed, the weapon started absorbing the magic, "Eh?" Megumin was confused, to say the least
"As a goddess, I must protect Komekko's young life," Aqua said as she carried Komekko
"the bar started glowing!" Komekko said everyone noticed it did
"so it wasn't broken, there was just not enough magic!" Kazuma exclaimed as he ran to the weapons side aiming it once again at Sylvia
"Seemed like you schemed something, it doesn't matter," Sylvia continued her dash towards the group
"Sylvia! Remember my name! And when you see your buddies on the other side, tell them I said Hi!" Kazuma exclaimed
"I am called Sa-" Kazuma was interrupted, "Boom!" Komekko pulled the trigger, which launched a big ball of insanely high energy, and it cleaved straight through Sylvia
"A-Am I… D-Done for?" she struggled to talk before falling to the ground, accompanied by a gargantuan explosion
Komekko turned her back towards the explosion, "I am called Komekko! The foremost lovable little sister amongst the crimson demons, she who is stronger than a devil king general!"
"Good job Komekko!" Gohan gave her a high five and a head pat, "I'm sure you'll grow stronger than all of us one day!"
"Really?"
"Yep, I'm already impressed by your strength!" Gohan commended her powers, she had none, he was just making her happy
Konosuba!
In the land of dreams, Sylvia approached a bay, in front of it were rivers of water, on the side, she heard noises
"Hey! Hey!" Verdia called out by the other side as the fog cleared out, "Come with us!" he waved
"I feel so clean now…" Hans still looked mentally scarred from his time alive
"Verdia? And Hans too? That means I'm in…" The realization hit Sylvia like a train, and the world of dreams soon turned into nightmares, the water started to drown Sylvia, with Hans and Verdia pulling her back, she was holding on to dear life, or whatever was left of it.
"Come on, come with us. Come and we can all hang out like we used to…" Verdia says as he pulls harder on Sylvia
"Soap, detergent, soap, detergent, soap, detergent…" Hans still looked traumatized
"No! Stop! I don't wanna go to the other side!" Sylvia cried, she felt genuine desperation, however, they managed to pull her into the depths of the ocean, never to be seen again.
Back in the real world, the dust was high, covering the whole area like a virus that spreads through kingdoms, Everyone looked at the hole caused by the attack fired by Komekko
Looking sombre, "That was a brutal battle, I swear to never hurt a soul again " Aqua swore
"Unfortunately, such is the nature of the world, to protect you must hurt," Gohan said, he knew the feeling of not wanting to hurt people
"Seriously, stop saying that would set off flags" Kazuma pointed at Aqua
As if Fate answered the temptation made by Aqua, a big slimy monster came out of the previously mentioned hole, out of the slimy monster came tentacles which held the head of Verdia, and out of another tentacle, Sylvia sprawled out "Life!"
"what the hell is that?!" Kazuma asked confused, Gohan didn't even take a second before he took Komekko and Aqua and started running, hoping Yunyun and the rest would catch up
"Run!" he called out
"Come join us!" Dullahan called out to Sylvia, who had yet to yield
"I won't let it end like this! This is just the beginning! I'm going to continue living!" she said before the slime swallowed her whole, just like everything around it
"Faster!" Gohan called out to Kazuma, who was slacking, despite not really holding anything heavy
The slime then ate itself, becoming blue and suddenly sprouting armour, it had a tail and caterpillar-like body, except with legs, and from the mouth, came out a blue-haired Sylvia
"What the hell is that?!" Kazuma yelled out in extreme confusion
"My soul nearly passed on…" Sylvia was now relieved, taking in a breath before…"I'm going to crush all of you!" the mouth of the beast then shot out a tsunami of purple venomous slime
The tsunami nearly got to the group, before… "Cursed crystal prison!" Wiz summoned ice magic to freeze the tsunami, which happened before the tsunami touched the group
"Kazuma San! What's going on?" She asked Kazuma
"Wiz San? What are you doing here?" Gohan asked, confused about what Wiz would be doing here
"Well you see, my adventurous boy, to make your designs into merchandise, we came to see a craftsman in this village, but it seems…" Vanir then turned to Kazuma
"You released a magic weapon out of fear for your own life?" Vanir asked
"What?!" Kazuma was shocked at how Vanir would know
"you can't hide what happened from a demon that can read minds, but alas, our arrangements can't be met if the village is destroyed" Vanir said
"Hey wait! I thought you were gonna make us rich with your stolen ideas!" Aqua grabbed Kazuma while questioning him
Gohan put Komekko down, and he stood up, with a serious look, "Nows not the time to discuss business, and as soon as he said that, slime smashed through the ice to reveal Sylvia as giant as the hills
"Wiz?! And Vanir?!" she was shocked
"Hello again, Sylvia! May I convince you to take a diplomatic approach?" Wiz asked nonchalantly
"Hell no!" Sylvia refused before pressure began being outputted from Gohan
"Even if you agreed, I'm not gonna allow you after what you've done to the village and home of many." Gohan then cocked his fist back, taking a deep breath
"And what's a bunch of fools going to do to ancient weaponry-" Pow! Gohan smashed the air was immense speed, causing a gigantic shockwave which destroyed the whole tsunami and sent Sylvia flying
"Wha…." Sylvia found herself speechless, while the group struggled to hold down to the ground
"He's angry!" Kazuma stated out loud
After the wind had calmed down and everyone gathered their minds into it's place,
"Kazuma, you got any ideas?" Aqua asked as Gohan was fighting singlehandedly with Sylvia
"I don't know! Something like that must have a weakness…. Like… like… like… like? Like… like my popular phase!" Kazuma had something pop up to him
Gohan dodged one of Sylvia's laser beams as he hit the slime in the belly with Ki, melting it off
"This kid! He's melting Hans' slime off!" Sylvia was shocked
"Look! Gohan is fighting off Sylvia, and he looks like he's gonna win!" Funifura said,
"Hey look! Isn't that.." the crimson demons saw Yunyun carrying Megumin while running
"Where are they going?"
"Yunyun? Megumin?!" Dodonko was surprised to see her classmates out on the field like that
"don't tell me!" Soketto had a horrifying realization
"What?" they staggered at her sudden outburst but Arue understood too…
"They intend to die." She said
"What?!" Megumin's mother fainted from anxiety, "Megumin… my daughter, you can't die…" the father was worried
"No!" the village chief cried under his only daughter's intentions
An afterimage of Gohan appeared, holding Komekko in hand, whom he gave to one of the crimson demons
"Thank you for saving Komekko!" The father was really worried for her under such battles
"Don't worry about it" the clone said before disappearing
While Gohan was dodging the poisonous slime, another person struck the monster's ankles,
"Darkness? No… Vanir?!" Gohan was surprised this time, did his friend really allow herself to be controlled by a demon?
"We meet on the battlefield again, mad boy, but this time we are allies" Vanir said to Gohan
"Fine, I'll work with you this time, but don't think we are on good terms because of this one" Gohan stood beside Vanir, cracking his knuckles, he began to power up, demanding maximum output of his base form
The grounds shook, the people fell, but most importantly, it made for a good time waster
"Blessing, blessing, blessing, blessing, I've known you for a long time Kazuma, yet you never ran out of crazy ideas" Aqua deadpanned
"Don't worry, after all, I have a goddess by my side, I'll count on you, partner" Kazuma said as he gave a thumbs up, which Aqua happily returned
"everyone! We need your help!" Wiz called out to the crimson demons,
The battle began, Gohan sprung from his feet and threw a ki ball towards Sylvia's belly, which gave her a really bad burn
"You!" Sylvia tried to attack Gohan with the sword she held but Vanir countered it, Both Gohan and Vanir tried to launch at Sylvia but she summoned several beams to thwart them off, Gohan staggered in the air, uncharacteristic of him, but so did Vanir, however, Gohan managed to send Vanir flying towards Sylvia with an aerobic kick, which Vanir used the momentum to slice off Sylvia's slime arm
Back with Wiz, she was gathering energy from the crimson demons
"What a surprise," Arue said
"Indeed, she is a dark one, but twists like that are kinda my thing"
Gohan looked at the energy ball gathered by Wiz, he smiled, appreciating the help of the demons, he sent a small piece of his energy, which Wiz noticed, and as soon as that ki ball touch the energy gathered, it multiplied in size
"Woah!" Komekko was in awe at the amount of energy being held
"I'm sick of attacking this village with nothing to show for it! I have fought with my pride as a general of the devil king's army! And my men, who have fought loyally, in my name!" Sylvia was irritated with this village before Gohan pushed her sword away
"When I was on the verge of death, I realized something… that satisfaction and happiness are not the same! No matter how hard I try, only the goblins notice," Sylvia sounded desperate, however, her words served to anger Gohan, it was like a repeat with Hans, they all do horrible stuff for dumb reasons
"I have relationships, but no love! I've never wanted romance as bad as right now, my life won't shine without love in it!" Sylvia cried
"Shut up!" Gohan felt his emotions snap, his hair turning golden, with an aura that disrupted the whole world, the skies darkened upon his power, mountains crumbled, forests destroyed, and Water rising, his power was dismantling everything
"YOU WANT TO DESTROY FAMILIES AND HOMES FOR A STUPID REASON AS THAT?!" Hans's reason was a bit reasonable, at least, but Sylvia was completely delusional.
"How dare you call it a stupid reason?" Sylvia attacked with her sword, but Gohan stopped it with a finger, before destroying it to Kingdom Come, veins appeared all over his face, just like with Hans, he was truly angry.
"As STUPID AS THEY COME!" Gohan yelled before he hit Sylvia in the face, before kicking her in the stomach and then ending the combo with a barrage of ki blasts
Kazuma saw that from afar, "Looks like I won't have to do anything" his sweat dropped at Gohan's anger once again, "he's really scary when he's angry" Aqua said
Gohan continued to pummel Sylvia to the ground, he could've done that before, but before, his objective was different
While absolute chaos is let loose on the battlefield, the energy Wiz was gathering has finally reached its peak!
"S-So much magical power! Yunyun, Megumin… it's all yours!" Wiz exclaimed before she compressed the ball into a beam and it was shot towards Megumin and Yunyun
Once the beam landed, the two felt massive amounts of energy flowing through
"Gohan… and the village's… this is all their magic!" Yunyun felt 101 ready
Flashback
"This is stupid! I haven't heard of a gamble with worse odds than this! Kazuma becoming Sylvia's weakness, because she likes him? If only I knew advanced magic…" Megumin had doubts about her own magic, she regrets only choosing explosive magic
"Megumin, Kazuma has faith in your magic, he wouldn't come up with a plan like that if he thought otherwise, have you lost faith in your magic?" Yunyun questioned Megumin's faith in herself, and it was a reasonable question
End of flashback
"Power… surging!" Megumin let out a roar, accompanied by her increase in magical power, she felt like the strongest
Gohan felt the incredible increase of power, smiling, he would allow them to Sylvia off by themselves, unless they, of course, would need some kind of assistance
Megumin and Yunyun held hands as they charged up the power and mustered up the courage
"I am called Yunyun! Foremost mage amongst the crimson demons!"
"I am called Megumin! Foremost mage amongst the crimson demons! Because Yunyun allowed me to pursue explosion magic, I have become who I am today!" Megumin is reminiscent of back then
"Because Megumin is my rival, I have become who I am today!" Yunyun exerted her self-proclaimed rivalry with the people
"Light of saber!" Yunyun prepared a giant sword like in the sky, waiting for Megumin's turn
"Let the storm blow! Let the flames roar! Explosion magic is the stuff of dreams! It is the ultimate magic that turns the impossible possible! Explosion!"
As Megumin unleashed her explosion magic with Yunyun's light of sabre, a massive yellow-orange sword-like beam was unleashed towards Sylvia, Gohan jumped out of the way, fearful of stopping the attack itself,
"I won't let you kill me with that!" Sylvia said as she held up a barrier, which shocked everyone
"a barrier?!" Aqua and Darkness exclaimed
However, Kazuma walked up to Sylvia, "Sylvia! I just want to let you know… the moment I met you, you were as bright as a star!" Kazuma complimented Sylvia, in hopes of weakening her barrier (w rizz)
As Sylvia focused on Kazuma as her heart pulsated faster, Gohan rushed in to strike the barrier out, "To hell with your love!" he gave the hardest right hook, which shattered the barrier to pieces, and allowed Megumin and Yunyun's attack to pass through, clean hole in Sylvia's chest, as the attack burned away at her body, a big explosion happened which disintegrated Sylvia and almost knocked away Gohan and Kazuma
When the blast was over, Megumin and Yunyun both fell, from overexertion of course, that's when the crimson demons erupted in cheers at the battle of maximum epicness
"Great job, Megumin, Yunyun!" Gohan cheered along as he went for a group hug, of course hurting them both a little, but it's all in good hearts
The next day, when the group headed back, the whole town of Axel heard of their adventure and specifically Gohan's deeds, but of course, they were more focused on Kazuma
"Welcome back! How was your adventure?" Luna asked
"I see, it seems like your adventure was hell, but that's what adventuring is about, right? Let's toast to your adventure!" the guy with a mohawk who always seemed to be there spoke
The guild celebrated the group's achievements
later on the same day, while it was perfect weather for a picnic, they went for a picnic, as Aqua set up the cover and the food, Megumin, Kazuma and Gohan were standing, staring off into the meadows and fields
"Man, yet another brutal adventure!" Kazuma said
"You bet, I'm starting to get really annoyed by these devil king commanders, all stupid ambitions, just like their powers…" Gohan does not like devil king commanders, insinuated by his tone
"I'm sorry.." Megumin apologized, the reason wasn't clear yet, but it's obvious she felt guilty about something
"Sorry?" Gohan seemed confused about the sudden apology, of course, and so did Kazuma
"If I had known advanced magic, we wouldn't have risked everyone like we did" Megumin looked guilty
The two boys looked at each other, wondering what Megumin was talking about until she continued
"Can I ask you to do something terrible?" she asked Kazuma as she handed her adventurers ID "I don't want to hold the group down ever again
Kazuma took a second to look at it, "You want me to press the button so you can learn advanced magic?"
She nodded
"What happened to your dream? All you said yesterday?" Gohan asked, truly wondering why Megumin wanted to do this
"It's time to wake up, I will seal my explosion magic away" Megumin turned around, "The foremost mage amongst the crimson demons, and wielder of advanced magic! That will be my calling card for now. Since I have higher magic potential than Yunyun, with advanced magic, I know I'll be number one amongst the crimson demons, I can't let her take that title" Megumin said with an obvious fake smile
"I don't know who you think you're tricking" Gohan deadpanned at Megumin
"I agree, this is dumb." Kazuma looked unamused, he and Gohan then shared a look, and a sly smirk that Megumin didn't notice, appeared on their faces, Kazuma then pressed something that we couldn't see
"Here." He handed her back her ID
She walked off obviously looking sad but then Gohan called out "Hey, why don't you pop us one explosion?"
"Yeah, you didn't use your daily explosives right?" Kazuma asked, already knowing the answer
"Jeez, asking me to do right after I decide to not use it again, fine… this will be my last explosion!" Megumin exclaimed
Gohan smiled as she listened to him, Megumin then started to gather her magic power, the black energy swirls coming into existence once again she aimed the wand and yelled "Explosion!" When the magic circles appeared, they looked normal, but then there was an extra layer added, which surprised Megumin
And in that moment, an explosion so big, so devastating, it cleared the skies and permanently damaged the landscape, it was a spectacular show of chaos
"Wow, now that… was definitely hardcore" Gohan commented with a surprised look, he knew she got a boost, but that was a big one
"What the… how did…" Megumin was beyond speechless as she looked to Kazuma and Gohan for answers, but they replied with a simple thumbs-up
She started tearing up, "I am called Megumin! The foremost mage and wielder of explosion magic! Axel's foremost mage, and she who will one day master explosion magic!" Megumin did her call once again
"Now that's the Megumin I know" Gohan smiled
'Do I need a talented mage? I have one who can toy with and beat devil king generals with one explosion, if you know someone who could do better, I'd like to meet them ' Kazuma mentally acknowledged the full extent of explosion magic
"Up you go" Kazuma carried Megumin up because she exhausted her magic energy
"Kazuma, Gohan, Megumin, the tea is ready!" Darkness called out
"I'm gonna eat your lunch if you don't hurry!" Aqua warned
"Oh no you don't!" Gohan ran towards the food
Megumin and Kazuma looked back to see the mushroom cloud become a heart-shaped cloud
This is it. The end of the spectacular journey of Gohan and his impact on the Konosuba world, i hope you enjoyed this story as much as i enjoyed writing it, but dont expect anything new soon, i started exams and ill be out for a few days
