Dagur and Law were still battling against their Pacifista, and Marines were approaching them from behind.

"Get ready," said Law as the Pacifista prepared to fire its laser.

They quickly rolled out of the way, and the Pacifista accidentally hit the Marines behind them. It then began firing a laser at Law, who quickly dashed away.

Killer then launched into the air and slammed his spinning blade upon its shoulder. However, it seemed to have no effect and began firing a laser at him. Bepo then charged from the other side and attempted to kick it but only got punched and sent flying.

"I'll just stay here," he said, pretending to act dead.

"Hey, Warlord!" Dagur yelled, drawing attention towards him. "Let's go for another spin. It's time you had your ass handed to you."

The Pacifista fired a laser from its mouth straight at him, but he quickly raised his metal arms and blocked the attack. This was an explosion destroying the metal arms.

"Dagur!" Killer yelled.

"Repel!" Dagur yelled.

He fired his left metal arm directly at the Pacifista, slamming it into its chest. The blow caused it to flip high into the sky and land hard on the ground.

Dagur was completely worn out, and the metal attached to his right arm fell apart. "No one's ever stood up and walked away after that attack. We just took down one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea!"

His crew then immediately cheered.

"That's all it took to bring Kuma down?" said Law dubiously. "Seems a bit too easy."

At that moment, the Pacifista sat back up, and it was the moment we could see its mechanical components.

"What the hell?!" Dagur stared as it got back onto its feet. "He's a machine?! He—the damn thing is a cyborg!"

The Pacifista then aimed its hand directly at Dagur and began to charge its laser. However, Law was able to create his bubble around and quickly teleported next to plunged his blade into its chest. He then jumped back and watched as the Pacifista fell to the ground.

Dagur narrowed his eyes at Law. "Funny, I don't remember asking for help."

"If you could see past your own fathead, you would realise just how screwed you are," said Law.

"What?!" Dagur glared.

Law merely smiled. "You think you can take down a real Warlord that easy?"

"What do you mean by real?"

"We can discuss it later; we've got a few more guests."

Law was right as the Marines had recovered and continued their advance towards them.

"Capture them!" the Marine officer in charge commanded.

The Marines immediately charged at them, but Bepo jumped out of nowhere and kicked one of them across the face. That stopped the Marines right in their tracks, and they stared at him.

"A polar bear?"

Bepo stood there taking a fighting stance, practically mesmerising the Marines, until Bart showed up and sent them flying with a single swing of his fist.

"I had that, you know," said Bepo.

Dagur then looked at Law. "All right, Law. Are you going to explain how? If he isn't Warlord, then what is he?"

Before Law could explain, something landed directly in front of them.

"Great, what is it this time?" Dagur growled.

When the dust settled the sword to the astonishment that it, was another Pacifista, who came straight at them.

The Dragon Riders were in a worse position; it was difficult to believe the situation would get any worse. Kia stood directly over Toothless, ready to deal a final blow to him.

"Toothless!" Hiccup yelled.

After seeing Astrid's group's trouble, Ragnar's room moved in to support them. However, all eyes were now on Toothless, who lay helplessly on the ground.

"Crap, he should beam too?" Eret cursed. "How are we supposed to beat these guys? At point-blank like that, he's done for."

"There's no way will be to get over there in time," said Astrid.

"Don't just stand there! Help, Toothless!" Hiccup yelled at Snotlout and Skull.

Snotlout just stood there in utter fear, unable to move.

"Snotlout!" Hiccup yelled.

Snotlout shook out of it and raised his fists at Kia. "Get away from him! You better back off or else!"

Kia refused to move, and Snotlout swung his fist at him, but it went right through his body.

"What the hell?!" he said as he continued swinging his fist in every one of them passed through his body. "What is this? What's happening? I can't hit him!"

Skull quickly moved in and swung his sword at Kia, but that, too, went right through him. "I can't stand him!"

"Keep trying!" Snotlout yelled as he continued swinging his fists to no avail. "You better move your foot! I mean it!"

Snotlout and Skull continue to attack Kia, but none of their attacks seem to land a hit.

"Step away from our friend!" Skull demanded.

"You're wasting your time," said Kia. "I ate the Glint-Glint Fruit, and now I'm made of light. It is a Logia, you see."

"He's made of light?" Eret gasped.

"That means none of our attacks will have any effect on him," said Ragnar.

"This is a nightmare," said Fishlegs.

"Toothless, tried to run!" Chopper cried. "Runaway, hurry!"

Toothless, however, was unable to move. 'I can't move, too weak.'

"It's no use. He's too worn out; he can't save himself," said Ragnar.

"Now, Twenty Flowers!" Heather yelled.

Hands began sprouting from the ground and rolled Toothless away from Kia.

"Yes, awesome work, Heather!" Snotlout cheered.

However, Kia vanished into light and reappeared directly above Toothless. He placed his foot against his back, pinning him to the ground. He then raised his other leg, which began to glow like before.

"He just shifted into place," Snotlout stared.

"Unbelievable," said Skull.

Heather tried to move Toothless, but Kia had pinned into the ground so firmly that it was impossible.

"It's cute how your friends want to save you," he said, looking down at Toothless. "But you are far beyond help now. Well then, time to die."

He was just about to fire a beam of light from the base of his foot when suddenly Rayleigh appeared out of nowhere and kicked his foot to one side just as he fired. This caused the beam to mess with Toothless completely and blew a hole into the mangrove.

The Dragon Riders just stared speechless at Rayleigh.

"You picked some time to come out of hiding," said Kia, looking at Rayleigh. "You sure you want to do this, Dark King Rayleigh?"

"Don't go taking these buds before they sprout," said Rayleigh. "Their era is only just beginning, and I want to see what they would do with it."

"Rayleigh…" Hiccup gasped.

"The old man saved Toothless," Eret stared.

"I was so scared," Chopper cried.

"So that guy is the Dark King, interesting," said Sachihiro.

"I heard rumours that you were somewhere on the archipelago, but I chalked them up as ghost stories," said Kia. "Yet here you are, sticking your neck out for these rookies. You just can't shake those instincts, can you, Rayleigh? Once a pirate, always a pirate."

"I'd be more than happy to retire in peace and live out the quiet life," Rayleigh shrugged. "But it's a little tough to do when the Navy keeps hanging wanted posters of me."

"You were a member of the Roger Pirates, Rayleigh. Do you really think your crimes can be forgotten? But if we were to make an honest attempt to capture you, that would require some serious preparation on our part."

Snotlout fell to his knees. "I'm so relieved. That old man seriously has some power."

"All of our attacks went through him as if he was a ghost, but when Rayleigh attacked, it hit," Skull noted.

"Why don't you just look the other way and let these kids go? What's the harm?" Rayleigh asked.

"Come on, what reality are you living in?" Kia scoffed. "You know there's no way I can just let them off the hook. Not when we have to answer to the Celestial Dragons. Navy HQ has to keep them happy, and that won't do it. I would appreciate it if you don't interfere."

"Snotlout, grab Toothless and get out of there!" Hiccup yelled at the top of his voice.

Snotlout and Skull snapped out of their shock and immediately went to retrieve Toothless. Snotlout carried him on his back while Skull retrieved his swords.

"Let's go, Skull!" Snotlout yelled at the shot past Kia and Rayleigh.

"Right!" said Skull.

"Everyone started running, and look after yourselves!" Hiccup ordered. "We can't win this one! We're nowhere near strong enough; get moving!"

"He knows when he is beaten," Kia observed. "Well, ain't that a pain."

"We need to get moving," said Astrid, looking at the others. "We can separate them with one of this island."

"Not before I let loose one final attack with all of my cola energy," said Eret as he faced the Px-1. He then placed his hands together and aimed them at it. "Coup De Bust!"

He fired his air cannon with so much force that it sent PX-1 flying, causing it to bounce around the island.

"How did that feel, you mechanical ass?" Eret smirked, and then they legged it. "Come on, run!"

The Dragon Riders immediately ran in all different directions.

"Thanks for the help, Rayleigh!" Hiccup yelled.

"Sure thing, and best of luck to you," said Rayleigh.

Kia then placed his hands together. "Sacred Gleam Mirror!"

He then fired a beam of light, which bounced off the bubbles and headed straight towards Snotlout and Skull.

"I can't see!" Snotlout yelled.

"I don't think he's trying to help us see," said Skull.

Kia was about to travel through the beam to attack them, but Rayleigh drew his sword and cut the beam. He even managed to cut Kia's cheek in the process.

"You're staying put," he said. "Feels good the blade again."

"Sacred Gleam Sword!" said Kia, forming a sword of light.

The two blades then clashed with one another.

"This is disappointing," said Kia. "I was expecting the laid-back, hassle-free excursion."

"Life is nothing but a series of surprises, Kia," Rayleigh smiled.

"The light from before is gone," Skull noticed.

"Looks like the old man saved us again," said Snotlout.

Kia and Rayleigh continued to clash swords against swords, and it looked as if they were evenly matched in skill and power.

Sachihiro just stared at the two men. "It appears he is the Dark King, after all. I've never seen anyone put uncle through a fight like that. We were so close to putting an end to the book of Toothless' days of crime."

He then turned to PX-1, who had just back onto its feet. "PX-1, finish Toothless off first! He's barely alive!"

PX-1 then turned its gaze upon Snotlout and Skull, or more precisely, onto Toothless, who Snotlout was carrying.

Astrid and Ragnar's groups were running when they saw PX-1 heading straight towards them.

"Crap, this is bad," said Ragnar, looking at Astrid. "Astrid, take out the others."

Astrid nodded as he ran off. "You got it. Just take care of yourself."

"What are you doing, Ragnar?" Fishlegs asked.

"I've got to help Toothless and Skull!" he yelled.

Snotlout and Skull were still running with PX-1 following them.

"Put me down," said Toothless and Snotlout stared at him. "Just leave me, save yourself."

"Don't be a muttonhead," said Snotlout. "Right now, you're even more weak and useless than I am." Then, it took him a few seconds to realise what he had just sat. "Wait, that didn't come out right. Regardless, we're getting out of this together. Those were Hiccup's orders, and I'm sticking to them."

They then heard massive footsteps behind them, and when they turned around, they saw that PX-1 was practically on top of them. They then immediately ran as fast as they could. This was easy for Skull as he was so light, but Snotlout was lagging behind.

"Come on, speed things up, Snotlout!" Skull yelled.

"This is as fast as I can go!" Snotlout yelled.

"Then you go on ahead, and I'll hold him back," said Skull as he immediately spun around and headed straight towards PX-1.

"No, don't do it, Skull!" Snotlout yelled. "You don't know how strong he is. He'll rip you apart!"

"Never fear," said Skull as he drew his sword. "Run on, my friend; this is what must be done. There comes a time when a man must put everything on the line."

He then swung his sword at PX-1 and fired a laser at the same time. The laser struck Skull, immediately sending him flying backwards and landing on a heap.

"That was pretty pointless," he groaned.

"Skull, no!" Snotlout cried.

He then turned his attention onto PX-1, who was moments away from grabbing him.

"Go away! Leave me alone!" Snotlout yelled.

"Get the hell away from them, you stupid cyborg!" Ragnar yelled as he began spinning around, igniting his foot.

He kicked PX-1 in the back as hard as possible, knocking him to the ground.

"Ragnar," said Snotlout relieved.

Unfortunately, Ragnar winced in pain and collapsed to the ground; that last attack injured his leg.

"Ow, my leg!" he winced.

PX-1 got back onto its feet and aimed its hand laser at Ragnar.

"Move, Ragnar, he's going to show you!" Snotlout yelled.

Ragnar looked up and saw that Snotlout was no longer running. "Moron! Why aren't you running?!"

PX-1 then blasted him.

Everyone could see the explosions and heard the yells coming from Snotlout. Rayleigh already had his hands full dealing with Kia and couldn't assist.

"Even if you distract me, my supporters are quite capable on their own," said Kia as they clashed.

Rayleigh said nothing but knew the situation was bad and could do nothing to help them.

When the smoke cleared, Ragnar was flat on his back, and Snotlout had collapsed, dropping Toothless.

"I dropped you!" Snotlout gasped, looking at Toothless. "I'm sorry, Toothless. It was an accident."

PX-1 slowly advanced towards him, but Ragnar grasped its leg, aiming his pistol at him.

"When you think you're going?" Ragnar panted. "I'm nowhere near done with you."

PX-1 just ignored him and carried on.

"Stop and find me!" Ragnar yelled and fired his pistol at it.

The bullets merely bounced off PX-1 as he continued to walk towards Toothless.

Hiccup was flying close to the ground, watching all of this. "It looks like they're in trouble over there."

"You got plenty of trouble yourself," said Sachihiro as he advanced towards him with unbelievable speed. "But just to be fair, I won't use my battleaxe on you this time!"

He struck Hiccup in the back, sending him flying into nearby ruins.

Heather and Chopper watched all of this as they ran.

"Hiccup!" Chopper yelled, coming to a stop. "Why? How can his attacks work on him when he's covered in dragon scales? What the hell!"

"Chopper, we have to keep moving!" Heather yelled.

"Ragnar!" Snotlout screamed.

They turned around and saw that PX-1 had grabbed Ragnar and fired a laser through his shoulder.

"Ragnar!" Snotlout yelled as he lifted Toothless onto his shoulders.

PX-1 fired a shot at them, nearly grazing Snotlout's shoulder and forcing him to drop Toothless again.

Chopper was horrified; this was even worse when they battled with CP-9. He then turned around and saw Sachihiro approaching Hiccup, who could barely move.

"Everyone is going to die," he cried.

He then suddenly galloped towards Hiccup before Heather could stop him.

"No, Chopper! It's too dangerous!" she screamed.

Chopper then transformed into his human form and charged at Sachihiro. "Get the hell away from my friends! Now, Rumble Ball!"

Chopper then ate two Rumble Balls and transformed into his monster form. Everyone immediately stopped what they were doing when they heard his roars, which could have been heard throughout the entire archipelago.

"It's Chopper!" Fishlegs gasped.

"I like little Chopper better!" said Eret.

"Not again," said Astrid, horrified.

Sachihiro just stared at him. "What exactly am I looking at?"

Heather had never seen this form of Chopper's before, but the others had described it to her. "It's even worse than what the others told me."

Chopper swung his massive claw down upon Sachihiro, who quickly jumped away.

"That's an interesting power you got there!" Sachihiro admitted. "It's too bad you don't seem to have any control over it."

Chopper knocked back some rubble as he continued to advance towards Sachihiro. Heather quickly rushed over to Hiccup, using this opportunity to drag him to safety.

"Hiccup, come on," she said, dragging the way before the rubble fell on them.

Snotlout was the only one still able to stand; all the others were either badly wounded or unconscious.

"This is what it's come to," said Snotlout as he looked at Chopper. "Even if he beats him, then what?"

He then noticed that PX-1 seemed to have lost all interest in them and was focusing on Chopper.

'I don't know what's going on, but it seems confused,' he noted. 'Now's our chance.'

He then quickly began shaking Ragnar and Skull, who were still flat on the ground. "Ragnar… Skull… get up! Snap out of it! Chopper bought us some time; we've got to move! You want to live, right?"

Sadly, PX-1 confusion seemed to be over-focused attention purely on them now.

"You've blown our chance!" Snotlout yelled. "Skull! Ragnar!"

PX-1 then aimed his hand laser directly down at them and began charging it.

"Stand down, PX-1," said a voice.

PX-1 complied, and Snotlout recognised that voice well and was too afraid to move or speak.

Skull regained consciousness and looked up at the newcomer with fear. Snotlout finally mustered the courage to turn his head, and sure enough, standing there was the real Kuma Bartholomew.

"Not another one!" Snotlout cried. "This is officially too much; I can't take it! Just how many of these guys are there? It isn't fair!"

Toothless regained consciousness, recognised the voice and instantly knew this was the real Kuma.

'It's him… it's the real Kuma,' he said.

"I see you survived, Toothless," Kuma noted.

"Just barely, I've got your mercy to thank for that," he said.

"What are you doing, Toothless?" Snotlout asked. "This is no time to talk to the enemy! Let's go!"

Kuma then started to remove his glove. "If you could take a vacation, where is it would you like to go?"

"Toothless, let's get out of here while we can," said Snotlout.

Kuma then swung his hand at Toothless, and seconds later, he vanished into thin air.

Snotlout just stared where Toothless had been a few seconds ago. "Where did… Hey, Toothless!"

"Is he… gone?" Skull stared.

"Toothless!" Snotlout, you're looking around wildly. "This is bad! This is very bad!"

"No," said Fishlegs, horrified.

"What happened? Where is he?" Eret asked.

"He's gone," said Ruffnut stunned.

"In an instant," Tuffnut gaped.

"It can't be," said Astrid.

Heather just stared, speechless.

"Toothless?" Hiccup winced.

"Toothless… he just disappeared," said Snotlout in shock.
