After five years...

"Kakashi!" Sakura called out to her husband. "Can you please get Minato away from Akamaru?"

"Hai!" Kakashi answered. And gently lifted the three-year old away from Akamaru's ears. The dog seemed to huff when he did.

Kiba was smiling at the scene at he is seeing. "Looks like family life suits you, Hokage-sama."

Kakashi was named hokage a year after their marriage. He was holding the office and leading the village while Naruto is preparing to be a hokage.

Sakura smiled at her friend and pried Minato's tiny fist from Kakashi hair. The toddler managed to grab his father's silver-hair.

"So Sakura, when is that little one coming out?" Neji asked, pointing to her stomach.

"In about two months." Sakura answered. "And its nice to have a girl, I'm seriously being outnumbered by the male population in the house." She looked at her stomach as much as she can, as her one and a half year old Mitsuaki is blocking most of it.

"Well, I hope that she takes after you, Sakura." Hinata chimed. "Seeing that Minato and Mitsuaki is so much like Kakashi-sama."

And she's right, both child inherited their father silver-hair, dark-eyes, straight nose, and Minato even had the mole that Kakashi had in his lower right chin.

Kakashi who was bouncing and playing with his first born on his lap, looked at Hinata momentarily. "Well, I hope so, too. As I cannot imagine her having my features."

The group of friends laughed, sharing light-hearted banter as they enjoyed a peaceful day in the village. The scars of the past were still there, but they were now woven into the fabric of a life filled with love, understanding, and the shared journey of healing.

As Sakura looked at her husband and their children, she couldn't help but feel a profound sense of gratitude. The shadows of their past had not disappeared entirely, but they had learned to live with them, to draw strength from each other, and to build a future that held the promise of happiness.

The village that once whispered and judged them had come to witness the strength of their bond, the resilience that love could bring. Kakashi, now Hokage, led the village with a steady hand, and Sakura continued her duties as a respected medic and mother.

The laughter of children echoed in the air, and Sakura couldn't wait to welcome their new addition to the family. As they continued to navigate the complexities of life, they knew that the journey was ongoing, but they faced it with a united front.

After they show their friends to the door, Kakashi looked at Sakura with a soft smile. "I love you, Sakura."

Sakura's heart swelled with emotion as she replied, "I love you too, Kakashi. Always."

And as they embraced, surrounded by the warmth of their chhildren, they knew that their love had not only weathered the storms of the past but had also blossomed into a beautiful, resilient bond that would endure the tests of time.

And so, in the heart of Konoha, amidst the whispers of the wind and the rustle of leaves, Kakashi and Sakura found solace in the love that had transformed their lives, a love that had conquered shadows and paved the way for a future filled with joy, laughter, and the promise of new beginnings.
