Drabbles set in the late 1930s and early 1940s...

Sir Anthony Strallan is the most boring man in England. No one would ever guess he could be dashing or heroic, certainly not his unsuspecting and unhappy wife.

Set after THAT scene in season 6, this short fic focuses on Cora after things did not turn out as well as they did in the original series. While she tries dealing with her grief on her own, she gets the help she needs from an unexpected source.

On their wedding night Charles and Elsie decide to reveal their hidden secrets, which will be a huge surprise for both of them ;-)

When widower and father Charles Carson comes to Downton Abbey, he develops a relationship with the family he serves. Over time, he is quite taken with a certain housekeeper. Also, the young Earl and his American wife are beginning to expand their family. This is an 1880s AU set a few years earlier than the canon backstory with Chelsie and Cobert at the forefront.

While the Crawley's deal with the lingering effects of the depression, Robert struggles with Edward VIII decision to abdicate. Meanwhile, Tom struggles with his identity again after the new Irish Constitution. Amidst it all, Sybbie is coming of age. Main parings will be Cobert and Tom/Lucy but some Mary/Henry (because Robert lives with both, and Tom works with both).

PROLOGUE - in 1935, Haunted by a tragedy of which he was blamed, a young adventurer searches an abandoned Gilded Age Manor in Newport, Rhode Island for a precious heirloom of the once Levinson family. But danger lurks around every corner as he is hunted by Mercenaries hired by a former Ottoman Noblewoman to avenge her son who died long ago in Lady Mary's bed. COMPLETE!

March 1912 - a baby is abandoned at the doors of Downton Abbey. Servant Thomas Barrow agrees to claim paternity for the foundling. The story mainly revolves around Thomas and his daughter, but the other characters also play a role in every chapter. The characters don't belong to me, only the OC does.

Seven months ago, Cora Levinson married Robert Crawley and changed her whole life to save his family estate, but the early days of marriage were not easy on her. Will Robert finally stand up to his mother and stick up for her, his wife? Will she finally find happiness with her husband?
