AN: hello guys just a heads up the start of this chapter is a bit of an information dump, I did not know where or how to put it, so I just did it this way to make it easier, while it is not essential to read it does offer insight into the new faction I am introducing.
The Human Faction
Chapter 1: introducing the SDC.
To the general human population, the supernatural Exists only in myths and lore, it exists in stories passed down to children, and legendary tales of long dead heroes. They could never imagine the supernatural was so prevalent in their mundane world, and they would be shocked at how close they actually were. Those who were aware are usually also involved in the supernatural, members of the church, magicians and awakened Sacred gear users, they were all aware of the supernatural beings in this world and likewise the supernatural was aware of them. However, there is another group of humans, one solely dedicated to defending their race from the supernatural threats that surround them no one knows they exist, not even the ones they hunt. They are humanities bulwark against supernatural threats, their defenders. They are-
The SDC
Supernatural-Defence-Command
An independent multinational organization dedicated to the defence of humanity from all supernatural threats. The organization through their connections and thanks to their magic often possessed equipment which was way ahead of what would be available for ordinary armies making them the most powerful human military force on the planet. They draw their members from all over the globe, every single member is sworn to secrecy and has all memories of their time in The SDC altered when they leave the organization, so they believe they served in a regular military outfit. Their existence remains unknown to the supernatural world at large thanks in part to the top-secret nature of the organization meaning very few people outside of it are aware such an organization can exist, as well as this any footage containing their activities is erased thanks to an online semi sentient virus that targets and eliminates any footage containing its members. As well as this all citizens who witness any deployments have their memories altered. The authority granted to them by the UN means that they are only accountable to the UN security council and often have free reign on how to deal with a supernatural response so long as the response is equal to the threat that is presented. They are funded by multiple governments of the UN drawing manageable amounts of money from most UN member states to fund the organization which adds up to a large sum of money with which to work with

Available combat assets
Infantry:
Regular forces- These highly trained and disciplined soldiers are the corner stone of the SDC's forces. These soldiers are equipped with an advanced set of armour capable of protecting them from most low-ranking super naturals. The armour comes with intergraded coms equipment and HUD display and grants the wearer a small increase in strength and speed. As well as this they are armed with a functional, efficient and lightweight directed energy weapon made available thanks in part to the magic that the SDC possesses. Deployed in teams of 12 these forces are more than capable of terminating most low-level supernatural threats.
Cyborgs- These cybernetically and genetically enhanced soldiers are the shock troopers of the SDC; Stronger, faster and more agile than a normal human can dream of these shock troopers are the armoured fist of the SDC. These soldiers come equipped with both close-range high frequency swords and long range directed energy weapons and are able to go toe to toe with even high-class devils, and, in the cases of some of their stronger operatives, ultimate-class devils. These soldiers are chosen from volunteers among the best of the SDC's veterans after undergoing their procedures they are expected to serve until they die as they would no longer be able to live among the civilian population.
Combat mages- The SDC possesses a number of magically capable humans and while not all of them are combat oriented, those that are become part of the Combat mage corps. These mages are given the SDCs trump card in terms of man portable fire power, these are 'computation jewels' developed originally by the Nazi's in WW2 and improved on over time these jewels amplify a mages innate magic by methods that still elude SDC scientists. These Jewels increase the magic capability of its wielders to bring them on par with stronger members of the supernatural factions. However the mages cannot channel the magic into their bodies as their bodies would not be able to handle the strain, instead they channel their magic into their weapons allowing them to fire magical spells as if they were bullets with spells such as; penetrating spells, artillery spells, homing spells and for the more powerful mages miniature nuke spells giving them unprecedented firepower against the super naturals, combined with experimental flying equipment that is capable of taking them to 14,000 feet above sea level at speeds of Mach 2 and you have some of the deadliest combatants at the SDCs disposal.
Note: all infantry possess a form of energy barrier be it magical or technological. Ranging in strength with Regulars possessing the weaker technological shield (bronze level) Cyborgs possessing the stronger technological shield (Silver tier) and mages able to generate their own magical barriers which is the strongest of the three (Gold tier).
Ground Vehicles:
IFVs/APCs- as well as its infantry the SDC also possesses a fleet of vehicles. One of these is the 'raider' IFV. This advanced vehicle is capable of comfortably carrying a full team of regular soldiers in to battle, with multiple layers of ceramic armour and titanium plating it is well protected from mid-low tier supernatural threats, it can be equipped with a; 20mm rapid fire cannon, a 105mm tank cannon, a set of SAM missiles and even a communications dish to help co-ordinate SDC forces in the field. As well as its armour and armaments it possesses a powerful engine letting it reach its top speed of 80mph in under 7 seconds. They are also amphibious, with an inbuilt air supply. The raider can even submerge for up to an hour allowing it to easily cross lakes and rivers.
Tanks- The SDC also fields a number of tanks, the M118 'Saint' is the main model of tank in use. It possesses a thick layer of magically enhanced and enchanted Chobham armour that is used on the challenger 2 tank as well as ceramics and reactive armour packs on top as well as a fairly strong energy shield giving it near unprecedented protection from incoming attacks. However, its main attraction is its 122mm magically enhanced rail cannon capable of doing massive damage to even ultimate-class devil supernatural threats. Its powerful engine clocks its top speed at 60mph which can be reached in 9 seconds.
Combat mechs- thanks to recent technological advances the SDC also possesses a number of advanced single man combat mechs. These mechs are usually bipedal with their main armaments taking the place of their arms, these armaments range from large cannons to energy weapons to mech sized machine guns and even a massive high frequency sword. These mechs possesses similar armour to the 'Saint' tanks only thicker and with an even stronger energy shield, their top speed is quite slow at 20mph however they make up for it with massive offensive and defensive capabilities.
Air fleet:
Helicopters- The SDC also possess a relatively small fleet of aircraft. One of these is the 'wasp' tiltrotor. There are two models in service a transport and a gunship model, the transport has ceramic and titanium plating with transport capacity of 3 teams of Regulars and a top speed of 300 knots or 345 mph. Its gunship variant possesses similar traits but instead of a transport capacity it possesses a 30mm rotary cannon, 4 pods of unguided rockets and 4 racks of heat seeking infrared missiles.
Jet fighter/bomber- The SDC also possess a small number of jet aircraft. These aircraft have very little in the way of armour however they make up for it with speed and firepower, with a top speed of Mach 8 this jet is the fastest jet currently in existence. In terms of firepower it possesses twin 40mm cannons on the nose of the jet with three racks of missiles on the wings of the plane and up to 8 laser guided bombs on the underside of the main body. As well as this it has VTOL capabilities allowing it to take off and land quickly and easily from SDC HQ.
Airships- these are never deployed unless a severe supernatural threat is confirmed, the SDC possesses three military airships; Duty, Courage, Honour. These heavily armed and armoured behemoths are currently the SDCs ultimate trump card. Possessing extremely thick armour which is enhanced and enchanted with the strongest magics available to the SDC as we as the strongest shields available they are extremely hard to take down, powered by 4 nuclear reactors and with 6 rocket engines propelling them these leviathans are surprisingly quick for their size reaching up to 235 knots or 270 mph. As well as these they also possess a massive amount of firepower, the main gun is half the length of the ship and is a magically enchanted railgun that fires slugs at incredible velocities breaking the sound barrier with ease at the lowest settings. They also possess several smaller but still dangerous cannons on their sides for broadside attacks and 100 missile silos each containing a missile pod with 30 smaller missiles inside, they also possess a large number of 20mm cannons on its surface to swat small scale threats out of the air around them. As said before these monsters are kept safely at SDC headquarters and are never deployed unless a severe supernatural threat or a second great war between the three biblical factions occurs.

SDC HQ: Elysium- Central Pacific
Field Marshal Johan Kurst was in all honesty not the kind of man you would expect to lead humanities defenders against the supernatural, He was a man of average build with short cropped hair but with a pair of dazzling blue that seemed to radiate authority, the only outward sign of the outstanding leadership qualities he possessed. However, he was currently 'enjoying' an uneventful day of paperwork, paperwork and more paperwork. Johan could feel his eyes struggling to stay open as he signed off another report from a ground team recently returned from deployment, he looked at his watch almost begging it to hurry up so he could take a break from this monotonous task and have some good old-fashioned coffee. Sadly, his daydreams were interrupted as his secretary opened his door, the uniformed brunette handed him a report as she spoke.
"Sir Urgent report from our team in Kuho" Johan frowned as he struggled to remember what the team in Kuho was there for.
"What was the deployment for again Isabel I can't remember, it's been a long day."
"Of course, sir, they were deployed there After reports of an apparent skirmish in the cities church reached our sources, we deployed an observation team to keep an eye on the situation and determine whether we would need to deploy a strike force."
"Ah yes I remember the council session regarding that now" the Hydra council, named after the 6 headed monster from Greek mythology, was made up of the Johan himself as head of the SDC and the heads of the Various forces under his command making there 6 seats on the council. "Has there been a change in the situation?"
"Well from intelligence reports and our spies in the church we've learned that the Excalibur's have been stolen" Johan frowned, having members of the SDC infiltrate the church had been decided long ago in the early days of the SDC's development as they were the only other 'human' faction they could get intel from, sadly they couldn't do the same for the fallen or the devils as their intentions would likely be discovered through one means or another and their operative lost and their existence potentially discovered. Johan would prefer to keep the SDC's existence a secret from the supernatural population for as long as possible.
"What does this have to do with Kuho last I checked the Vatican was half the world from Japan."
"Well sir from our spies in the church and from intelligence we have been able to gather ourselves we have learned that the Excalibur's were stolen by a cadre level fallen named Kokabiel. The team in Kuho recently detected a massive fallen magical signature, one that comes eerily close to Kokabiels, arrive in the city. We believe he may use the Excalibur's to kill the devils in Kuho" Johan froze, he knew exactly who was in Kuho. Rias Gremory and Sona Sitri, the younger sisters to Sirzechs Lucifer and Serafall Leviathan respectively, if Kokabiel used holy weapons to kill the Maou's little sisters…
"He wants to start another great war." Johan growled; his secretary gave a solemn nod. "Thank you, Isabel, I'll take it from here" with a crisp salute his secretary turned on her heel and left the office. When she was gone, he activated the terminal on his desk and used it to activate the holographic emitters in the room as a call was put out to his fellow council members. Before long, the holographic images of the other councillors shimmered into view.
Colonel Degurechaff was short for the age of 32, doctors said it is a genetic defect but that hasn't stopped her becoming a terrifying soldier, coming in at 4 foot 5 the blonde-haired blue-eyed colonel looked more like a child playing dress up in her black and white body suit than the highly gifted and dangerous combat mage that she is.
Major General Gorgon by contrast cut a striking image by comparison, coming in at 5 foot 11 inches the Generals piercing blue eyes came through despite the holographic image, her snow white hair seemed to add to her beauty while the customized officers uniform gave her a sharp look that denoted her serious nature, despite all this it was the aura she gave off that he could even feel despite her being miles away that truly let people know how dangerous she really was.
If people thought Major General Gorgon looked dangerous then Lieutenant colonel Jack Sinclair must have looked downright terrifying. More machine than man the colonel stood at 6 foot 8 inches, his silver hair was cut short and his grey eyes was staring at him waiting patiently, the man was covered in metal plates and synthetic muscle tissue that gave the man a truly terrifying appearance.
To his right Admiral Jason Nimitz looked rather plain in comparison. Coming in at 5 foot 6 he had light emerald eyes and trimmed black hair, he was wearing a pristine Admirals uniform that looked neat and tidy just as the Admiral liked it. However, if one were to look at the man's service record, they would see there was nothing neat and tidy about the way he handled his missions, the way the man looked at people hinted at the cold calculating ruthlessness the man possessed.
Lastly Commander Nishizumi waited patiently to be addressed. Coming in at 5 foot 4 inches with light brown eyes and raven black hair, the 25-year-old was the youngest member of the council. Decked out in her armoured commanders' uniform which drew inspiration from the German panzer corps uniform, only with a built-in neural interface so she can pilot her mech, the young woman was a calm efficient commander that has managed to prove herself on several occasions despite her relative youth.
"Ladies, Gentlemen. I have contacted you because a dire situation has arisen in Kuho" Johan quickly relayed what he had been told to his fellow councillors. Nimitz frowned as he spoke
"Has the information been verified?"
"Intel Verified it using multiple sources from both our spies inside the church, satellite imagery and a report from our team already in Kuho."
"Whatever the threat may be sir me and my mages stand ready and waiting"
"Thank you Colonel Degurechaff your willingness to serve is commendable, however I would like to have more than a couple of combat mages if we're coming up against a Cadre level fallen. Nishizumi how many mechs do you have currently undeployed?"
"Sir, I have 50 combat ready Mk3 mechs ready for deployment, a further 20 are currently undergoing maintenance and repairs but can be brought up to fighting shape within 12 hours."
"No that will be fine thank you. Listen carefully people, I would like a strike team consisting of 2 teams of regulars and a pair of cyborgs with the 75th mage unit and two mechs for support to be deployed to the outskirts of Kuho, once we have determined whether Kokabiel is in Kuho they are to sweep into the city and eliminate him, our observation team will remain on station to co-ordinate with intel and determine Kokabiels exact location. This mission is highly important people if we fail another great war could break out and I doubt humanity would be left alone during it, we cannot let that happen do you understand?"
"Sir yes sir" was the unanimous reply
"Excellent, I will leave the choice of personnel up to yourselves, however Colonel Degurechaff, you will lead this operation"
"Yes sir" she replied with a small smile.
"Thank you, that will be all people, and may the spirits of the fallen guide you Vigilo Confidio"
"Vigilo Confido" and with that the emitters powered down.

Kuho Academy: Kuho city- Japan
The day started off fairly normally for the reincarnated devil Issei Hyoudou, he went to school, chatted with his friends and fantasised about his wonderful future harem of big breasted beauties. Yes, today was just a normal day, that is until his master the president of the Occult research club, Rias Gremory, summoned him and the rest of her peerage after school for an apparently important meeting. As he made his way to the old school building, he bumped into a certain blonde-haired former nun.
"Asia-chan, how are you?" he asked politely.
"Oh Issei-kun, I'm fine thank you for asking, I'm still trying to get used to school life. It is quite different from the church." She gained a slightly depressed at the thought of her former life in the church.
"I can imagine, well look on the bright side, at least you're here now and you have us. Me Buchou, Akeno-san, Kiba-san and Koneko-chan. We're all here for you Asia." Asia gave Issei a brilliant smile in return for his kind words.
"Thanks, Issei-kun" Issei smiled in reply but remained silent afterwards. Shortly after they arrived at the old school building and made their way inside. Eventually they arrived in the main lounge area where the rest of their peerage members and king were waiting alongside a pair of white robed figures, both of which Issei recognized from the night before when they visited his home.
"Irina-san, Xenovia-san why are you here." Issei casually addressed the two exorcists causing Xenovia to bristle slightly.
"They're here Issei because they want something from us, isn't that right?" Rias answered for him.
"Yes, we're here in this town on a mission from the church to recover the stolen Excalibur's" Xenovia noticed one of the devil's peerage members tense in the background before going back to giving her the death glare he had been giving the both of them since setting foot inside the building.
"I see and why have you come to a group of devils about some holy swords, surely you must know that they would be useless to our kind" she wasn't lying a devil couldn't touch let alone hold a holy sword without suffering from a severe burning pain, if the sword was strong enough it could even eviscerate a lower-class devil with the barest touch.
"We have come to ask you to stay out of our way and not to align with the fallen that stole it." Rias bristled at the tone Xenovia took when addressing her but decided to let it slide this once however her serious expression got a little cooler afterwards.
"Why, do you suspect we would ally with the fallen, we hate them as much as we do the church."
"Because it would be in both your best interests to destroy the holy swords or at least prevent the church from using them."
"…Hmph fine, then let me make myself clear neither I nor my peerage have any intent to aid the fallen in the endeavour, like wise since you asked us not to interfere, we shall not be aiding you either."
"That is fine by us."
"Now before you leave would you mind informing me of the identity of the thief, since this is taking place in my territory" Rias asked with a curious expression on her face, her formerly cold expression melting away as the tension she had felt leave the room after the acceptance of her declaration. Xenovia remained silent for a moment before relenting and acquiescing to her request.
"The Cadre level fallen Kokabiel" Rias choked on air at the mention of such a powerful fallen angel.
"And the church sent only two of you to face him, are they mad that is suicide"
"Don't question our faith if we are to die then we shall die for our lord with sword in hand." Irina declared passionately.
"Exactly and besides, we are not unarmed, we both possess a holy sword of our own" she then brought up the cloth bundle that had been laying on the floor at her feet. "This is Excalibur destruction."
"And this-" Irina grabbed the band on her arm and pulled it off allowing it to morph into a katana style sword "-is Excalibur mimic it-"
"They don't need to know about its capabilities Irina" Xenovia cut in
"Right of course silly me" she bonked herself on the head lightly with a cheery expression causing her friend to shake her head slightly.
"Even still the odds of our success are extremely low, I predict less than 20% chance of us leaving here alive" Issei decided to speak up
"Then why not ask for help if not from us then from the church?"
"Issei tha-" Rias went to speak up but was cut off as Irina answered the question
"Well because our resources are stretched thin at the moment. Most of our higher-level exorcists have already been deployed on missions or were killed during the theft, me and Xenovia were the only ones available. They could have sent more lower level exorcists, but they would have even less of a chance than us against Kokabiel."
"Strange so many deployed already, why is that."
"I'm afraid even if I knew I couldn't tell you Gremory all I know is that someone out there has been eliminating rouge super naturals such as devils, fallen, youkai, and vampires, supposedly a few young violent dragons have also been killed." That caused Rias to frown, a group of people was actively hunting rouge super naturals. While this was undeniably a good thing it was not a good thing that it was an apparently unknown group with unknown motives. Rias brought her attention back to the meeting, but her mind was still on the thought of this unknown group, she would have to get in touch with her brother later on. Unbeknownst to the people in the clubroom their conversation was being watched and recorded by a small easy to miss drone in the corner of the room.

Outskirts of Kuoh
Colonel Tanya Degurechaff couldn't help but admire the natural beauty of the scenery around her as she flew with her battalion towards the FOB placed in the city. She and her troops had been flying for a good few hours now so most of them were ready to relax after such a long time in the air. As she closed in on the FOB, she saw someone waiting for them on the roof of the non-descript building. Coming in to land she saw them approach her.
"Colonel Degurechaff ma'am we've been expecting you, I'm Sergeant Marks if you'll follow me please, Major Tanner is expecting you" nodding back to the man she turned to her troops
"Grab some R&R and check over your gear be ready to move at a moment's notice"
"Yes Ma'am!" they replied as the dispersed while she followed the man inside, moving into the building she saw various troopers milling around or moving from place to place all dressed in their battle kit clearly ready to deploy at a moment's notice.
"So is the situation well in hand?"
"Well enough, we have been monitoring the local devils and their peerages. For any changes that might crop up but there haven't been any real issues that have arisen yet. However, the churches exorcists have arrived, they're currently in negotiations with the Gremory heiress."
"How is that progressing, have there been any complications?"
"The exorcists attempt at diplomacy might as well have been as subtle as a sledgehammer, they're lucky that the Gremory girl is as level-headed as she is otherwise, we might be working to deescalate a potential great war." Tanya cringed slightly
"That bad?"
"There abouts Ma'am" as they neared a guarded door opened it revealing a large room with a bank of monitors being watched by various men and women and a middle-aged man stood watching a holographic display showing the Gremory peerage as they watched the exorcists and two of their members squaring up against each other
"Please tell me they aren't about to fight" griped Tanya
"A simple spar Ma'am nothing to worry about" replied Tanner as he turned to face her and shook her hand "a pleasure Colonel your reputation precedes you"
"Thank you Major" she turned her attention back to the screens as the spar started and she found herself decidedly unimpressed with the two devils, one was a compressed ball of rage and violent intent, the other was so green he made grass envious.
"These two need a lot of work" Tanya griped as the spar ensued then the pawn with the red gauntlet did something to his friends' clothes to make them explode and Tanya had seen enough "Okay I think we've seen enough of that spar"
"Agreed Ma'am" The feed was cut as the Major turned his full attention from Tanya "Do you want a full report Ma'am?"
"No just the cliff notes if you please"
"We have a security perimeter set up around the city both magical and mundane, we're using it to triangulate the location of the rouge fallen and the Excalibur fragments, the other reinforcements from command arrived here before you, Sergeant's Bull and Ryans are in the briefing room getting their men up to speed and our two Cyborgs are currently out scouting the area."
"Good anything else."
"... there is something else Ma'am orders from command on your role while here" Tanya arched an eyebrow
"Am I not her to command my men"
"No Ma'am apparently Marshal Kurst ordered you here for your... appearance" Tanya gave him a strange look.
"What do you mean?"
"... he wants you to pose as a new transfer to the school to act as a spy."
"...you're fucking with me" the silence that answered caused her heart to drop into her stomach.

Kuoh City
If one were to ask how Seras felt at this exact moment it would be bored, when she was sent on a rapid deployment assignment to Kuoh she was expecting more excitement than just doing regular patrols around a boring ass city. She couldn't even talk to her team via the CyNet as orders called for complete communication silence be it magical or technological, they didn't want to risk anything especially in the same territory as the sisters of 2 Satans.
"Jesus this is boring nothing but civies going about their daily life, I haven't even seen a devil since I got here can't I have a little bit of excitement?" her thoughts were silenced by a cry for help
"... Now it shall rain money from the sky... worth a shot" with that she took off towards the source of the scream making sure to match her speed to that of a regular human. As she rounded the corner she was greeted by the sight of a priest on the ground begging for his life from a crazed exorcist holding an Excalibur fragment, moving on instinct Seras closed the gap quickly and punched the exorcist in the face as he turned to face her
"oh who are you, are you gonna let me cut you up let me bleed you real nice and bath in the juices of your body hey what do you say" Seras grimaced at the clearly crazy man before he bowed "Freed sellezen killer of shity devils and fucker of bitches, wanna see how I do that last one" hearing enough Seras closed the distance in a blink shocking Freed as she buried her fist in his gut sending him flying back into a wall, turning to the priest she cocks her head.
"Get out of here" the priest flees without another word, one less thing for her to worry about. Freed jumps to his feet and closes the gap using his Excalibur rapidly aiming to bisect her but is shocked when she parries the blade with her wrist and then punches him in the jaw sending him into the dirt.
"The fuck are you cunt, you're clearly not human. Are you a shitty devil" he growls angrily as his nose weeps crimson liquid down his face, ruining his attempts to be intimidating.
"No I'm something else" with that she rockets forward and swings at him again, ducking down he slices across her torso smiling he looks back expecting to see her topple over only to receive a boot to the chest as Seras spins her heel into his sternum with a resounding crack sending him to the ground looking up where he cut her clothes he can see metal glinting beneath.
"The hell... are you... a robot." he wheezes, one of his lungs crushed beneath his crushed sternum.
"Close... try cyborg" with that she brings her heel down on to his head cracking hit open and spilling his grey matter onto the asphalt. She then looks around to ensure there are no witnesses she took out a small vial and poured the solution over the body allowing the nano-bots inside to dissolve his body and splattered blood into colourless liquid that looked like water that quickly evaporated into the air as the nano-bots self-destructed. Picking up the discarded Excalibur Seras nodded as she tucked it away before looking down and remembering the damage to her clothing.
"Damn, I need to get this stitched up... and report back of course." checking around she jumps to the rooftops and runs across using them to get back to the FOB.
Unbeknownst to her in one of the valleys out of sight a pair of eyes watched her leave before stepping out, Kiba Yuuto Knight of Rias Gremory watched the woman leave with a frown on his face knuckles tightened at the sight of Excalibur before taking off after her, thoughts of revenge clouding his reason.
And so, we start off on our little adventure Kiba jumps head first into danger and I shamelessly rip characters from other franchises and have them pop up in my story. Let me know what you think, and I will try to update soon, maybe, hopefully… no promises.
