- Evelyn's P.O.V -

Its been a few weeks since my brothers and I have lived with Leo and his family. And the transition was pretty smooth. Well that is until last week. We finally met their other human friend. Casey Jones, also known to the Purple Dragons as The Vigilante.

'It was not a fun experience.' I thought as I look down at my scar. The sight of the two inches scar sends my mind replaying the events that happened.

- Flashback -

It was two week. The Turtles helped my brothers and I gather all of our supplies from our old home. Then we started cleaning up some of the spare rooms that have been untouched in the Turtles home. During the clean up, they tell the story of how they got their new home. It was because of the mouser robots created by Dr. Stockman. They also tell us that he was a bad man. He set his robots on April and this explains how they met.

We had gotten back from visiting Heng and Jiao. Before my dad disappeared he gave them keys to my fathers storage unite. There my father was able to save some of our families old stuff. We had some old furniture that was used to help fill up Gregory's and Raimundo's rooms. We had the 2 bed frame, so I decided to give it to the boys. I don't mind sleeping on the floor in my sleeping bag. But the guys promised to help me get a bed. The boys rooms were looking great. But Leo, Raph, and Donnie decided to visit one other place with Gregory and Raimundo. This left me with alone with Mikey and Splinter. Although Splinteris in the middle of his hourly meditation. So its just me and Mikey. Mikey was playing his video games. While I was in my new room. I finished arranging things in my room. Now I'm just looking through the newspaper. Seeing if there are any job openings. Since I'm no longer working for the purple dragons. Maybe I can still do some odd job, Leo and his family are doing more than enough to allow my brothers and I stay with them. So the least I can do is help them out. I was so deep in my search that I didn't hear Leo enter my room.

"Evelyn." He calls out. The sudden sound startles me. I let out a squeak when my name is called suddenly. I turn and see Leo peaking his head into my room. My reaction causes Leo to laugh at me. "Sorry to scare you Eve." He says between his laughter.

"Its okay." I say as I cant help but laugh at my own reaction. "I was too distracted." I admit as I hold up the newspaper.

"What are you looking at?" He asks as he walks into my room.

"The newspaper. I asked Donnie to bring me today's issue." I said as he sits beside me on my sleeping bag. "Since I'm no longer working for the Purple Dragons. I need to look for a more legal way for me to earn money." I explain.

"Why do you need to look for a job?" He asks me. "We can provide you and your brothers." He says.

"Yes thats true, but you guys are doing so much for my brothers and I. And I'm forever greatful to you all." I start. "But it just wouldn't feel right, if I don't doing my fair share." I explain.

"But Eve, you don't have to." He says. And while it looked like he was going to continue trying to change my mind. I gently take his hand in mine.

"Listen Leo, I know I don't have to. But, I feel like it's my duty to do my share." I say honestly. "I was taught to take care of my family. Now that my family has gotten bigger. I want to be able to help support them." I explain as I intertwined our fingers. It was tricky and a little strange. But his hand felt really nice. Even though his hand is a little bigger than mine. I guess he really took what I said to heart because he looked deep into my eyes and I looked into his. I really wish I could see his eyes. Its hidden behind the mask. And for awhile I've always wondered what his eye color is.

"But its going to be difficult becuases a lot of places don't hire young teens." I admit as I let go of his hand and then hug my knees.

"Why is that?" He asks.

"Well some business don't hire anyone under the age of 16. And if they do. They need a guardian permission." I explain. "Sadly I've got to wait until next year to be 16. And I don't exactly have a guardian." I say as I shrug my shoulders.

"Well if thats the case. Donnie and I could make something. And we can have Master Splinter be your guardian." He suggests. And I can't help but smile at his support.

Its been so wonderful to have him here. Now that my secret is out I can really be myself. And I'm so greatful that this didn't change anything. In fact he's been so helpful with everything. I've never felt so blessed. I'm truly greatful that I've met him.

"Ah yes, but I'm afraid my dear Da Vinci. That it is illegal to forge a document." I admit. He becomes disappointed becuases he was sure that his idea would work. But it was a cute attempt. "But I appreciate the idea, my friend." I say as I gently take his hand in mine and hold it again.

"Happy to help." He says with a smile. I rest my head on his shoulder. And I soon feel him rest his head on mine.

Our moment of peace is cut short when I hear mine and Leo's brothers call is for dinner. Then Raimundo comes into my room.

"Hey guys, pizzas here." He says with a smile. Then I notice that he has a box in his hands.

"Whats that bro?" I ask.

"I found something in one of the boxes we brought back from Dad's storage." He explains. "I think is yours." He says as he hands me the box. It's a medium size box with my name written on a single strip of tap set on the lid.

"Thanks bro I'll take a look at it after dinner." I say with a smile as I place my box down. Then the three of us leave my to join the others.

After dinner, everyone went to do their own thing. Leo and his brothers are each doing their own things. As for my brothers they are enjoying their new rooms. This left me to see what was inside this box. I don't remember ever doing this. Which made me even more curious about whats inside. I open the box and I see that its a small treasure chest of some of my favorite items. This was all the small little nick nacks that I had back in our old home. Just before we lost my mother.

Inside there was a small picture frame of my family with Uncle Yoshi together. It was a picture of us during the New years. I smile brightly and place the pictuer on my nightstand. I look back into the box and found something I thought I lost in the fire but it was saved. From the box I pull put two small panda plush toys.

They were a gift from Uncle Yoshi. During the Chinese new years, we went to a fair that was held in Chinatown. There were so many different games that had so many different prizes. But my young self wanted these precious panda bears. Uncle Yoshi won them in a ring toss after I failed to. I give them one final squeeze before I put them back in the box. I know I'm too old to sheep with a teddy bear but they are a precious momento of my uncle.

I look back in the box and discover another box only this time its slightly smaller. I open it up and discover a paint kit. Its filled with so many different colors. Sadly no paintbrushes. I was surprised to see the condition of the paints. And this gave me an idea. The walls in my room is still a little bair. Until I get a job. I can draw on them, just to show a little bit more of my personality. I'm so excited to get to work that I practically flew out of my room. I spotted the turtle I figured would probably have what I want.

"Hey Donnie, I ask you something really quick." I ask as I see him working in his lab.

"Sure Eve, whats up?" He asks as he lifts his goggles up.

"Do you guys by any chance own any paint brushes?" I ask him.

"Hm..paint brushes." He thinks as he fully takes off his goggles. He thinks for a moment before he walks towards one of his many shelves and drawers. "I think we do." He says not fully sure. "Ah here we go. Will this work?" He asks as he pulls out a few paint brushes. They are different types and styles. They are just what I needed.

"These are perfect." I say happily. I practically tackled him into a hug. "Thank so much Donnie." I say with a smile before I kiss his cheek. Then I make a dash for my room. Leaving a flustered Donnie in his lab.

I dash back into my room and start painting. I decided to create something using two of corners in my room. I start drawing tree branch sprouting from the two corners. Once those are drawn I start to add peach blossoms. I remember how Mr. Heng showed me how to paint in the Chinese art style. It was so fun when he showed me how to do it. It was tricky at first but I was able to get it just right. A few hours past and I completed my tree branches.

I was really happy with the results. And I was so happy on how my room was coming out. I wipe the sweat from my brow. Then head back to return the brushes. When I step outside I noticed that everyone was together expect for Raphael. I spotted spotted Donnie and I head towards him.

"Hey Donnie thanks for the brushes." I said as I hand him the brushes.

"No problem Eve." He says with a smile as he takes them.

"Why did you need brush, Eve?" Leo asks.

"Oh I was painting something on my room." I explain.

"Must have been good. Cuz, your all covered in paint." Mikey days as he pokes my cheeks.

"Yeah, I found an old paint set that I used to own. And I thought why not paint my wall." I explained. "Go check it out while I go wash up." I said before I walk towards the bathroom to clean my face. After spending about 10 minutes of cleaning all of the paint off of my face and hands i return to my room and see not only Leo's brothers and but my brother's and Master Splinter.

"Eve, this is amazing." Donnie says as they all stair at my blossom tree branches.

"You've got some serious talent girl friend." Mikey says impressed.

"Yes these Sakura blossoms are lovely." Splinter says.

"Actually they are peach blossoms. At least I tried to make it a peach blossom." I admit bashfully. "But I do remember uncle Yoshi telling me about the cherry blossoms. Oh wait, I mean Sakura." I correct myself.

'I always liked the name Sakura. It had such a pretty ring to it.' I thought.

"This looks great sis." Gregory says happily as he gives me a high five.

"Can you paint something in my room?" Raimundo asks.

"Sure we can do it tomorrow." I say with a smile. "This time I will wear an outfit that I can risk getting dirty." I say bashfully as I look down at one of my favorite shirts ruined by the paint. It was one of our dad's old dojo shirt. We all laugh at my comment and at Raimundo's eagerness.

As we all return to the living room, Splinter returns to his room while the rest of us gathered in front of the TV. I went to the kitchen to make some tea for everyone. After I finished the tea. I heard the door that leads to the garage opens. Then suddenly a loud battle cry echos throughout the layer. I put the tea pot and the cups on a tray before I join the others. As I join in the living room. I spotted Raphael with another human. A male. But this person I recognized. This man was the enemy of the purple dragons. I belive his name was Casey Jones. I remember Raphael telling me about him. He seems like a nice guy. Especially if he's taking down the dragons. And from the sound of their voices. I guess they must have come back from a fight with the dragons.

"Wow, Raph when did you guys take in a couple of kids?" I hear him asks as he must have noticed my brothers.

"These are some friends of ours. They are living with us since they don't have anywhere else to go." Raphael explains.

"This is Raimundo and Gregory." Leo says as he introduces my brothers.

"And I'm there sister, my name is Evelyn." I say as I place the tray down.

"Okay so how did you guys meet these kids becuase they seem way to young to be on their own." Casey asks.

"Well its a long story," I say as I begin to tell our story. However as I got about mid story. I completely forgot that I had taken my gloves off. And this left my purple dragon tattoo to be exposed. Becuase I have a bad habit of talking with my hand. He must have spotted my tattoo and his eyes lit witha bright fury of anger.

"What is that on your hand?" He practically demanded.

"Oh um..its nothing." I say nervously as I quickly hide my hand behind my back. His face doesn't change as I hoped. Then he slips his hockey mask on.

"Oh its not nothing. That is a purple dragon tattoo. You're a purple dragon." He says fuming as he pulls out a baseball bat.

"Casey, easy. Its not a big deal." Leo says calmly as he tries to keep the raging man.

"No big deal, NO BIG DEAL! THIS CHICK IS ONE OF THE PURPLE DRAGON PUNKS!" He yelled as he points his bat at me. "HOW CAN YOU GUYS KEEP THIS PIECE OF TRASH IN YOUR HOME." He yelled towards Raph and the rest of his turtles.

"We can explain. If you just calm down we can," Donnie says as he attempts to take the bat from Casey. But then suddenly he's pushed back. This surprised everyone.

"Rrg..DONT TELL ME TO CALM DOWN. THIS DRAGON PUNK HAS TO PAY FOR WHAT THEY DID!" Casey yells. He charges towards me but Leo and Raph hold him back. Mikey acted quickly and has my brothers in his arms. I quickly step back and stand ready. Even though I know Leo and Raphael are strong enough to hold him back. But I can see in his eyes just how much he hates the purple dragons. Its so intense that I can feel his anger burning my soul.

"CASEY CHILL, SHE'S NOT LIKE THE REST OF THE DRAGONS!" Raph yells back as he and Leo struggle to keep him back.

"I DON'T CARE, SHE HAS TO PAY. THEY ALL HAVE TO PAY!!!" He yells. This time he manages to knock Leo and Raph off of him. Then faster than I'd expect he charges forward. Donnie suddenly appears before me with his bow staff. While I'm happy he is there, I could see from the rage in his eyes.

"Evelyn; get back." Donnie says. Which I do and its a good thing becuase the moment Casey pushes past Donnie. He rushed towards me with his bat swinging at me.

I easily duck and evade all of Casey's swings. But it was tricky, he's blinded by his rage that his each attack is faster. I try to reason with him but my talking just makes him mad. And I can see just how deep his hatred towards the dragon. They must have done something so bad that Casey has this relentless need to take down the dragons. So he's not attacking me because he hates me. He's taking his hatred on the fact that I'm was a member of the gang.

Our fight traveled all across the layer, because I suddenly hear Splinter's voice. I barely hear what is said because I let my guard down, which gave Casey a chance to land a good hit on me. Sadly it was on my side where my stitches were. They have healed but they were not ready to be removed. So this sudden blow to my stitches really sent my body to go limp. I crumbling down to the ground, holding my side. I barely remembering hearing everyone's worried cries. The pain from my side was too much to bare. I look up and see Casey's burning eyes seemed to glow through his hockey mask. Those blue eyes glare down at me. I close my eyes ready to feel his final attack. However instead of feeling the pain of wood smacking my skin. I feel a pair of strong muscular arms wrap around me. Then I feel a rough and bumpy texture under my fingertips.

"Leo," I whisper softly. Realizing that I was pushed or rather tackled out of the way. I belive that the one who saved me in time is my friend. With this thought in mind I relax under his touch. However when I open my eyes I'm shocked to find a red mask and not the familiar blue mask. "Raphael." I said surprised.

"Easy kid, I got cha." Raphael says as he helps me stand up. His voice was a low growl. Like a dog growl. But it somehow has a softness to it.

"Thank you Raph." I said softly as I hold my side. A sharp pain stabs my side and I stumble but he catches me. He's about to say something but the sound of an angry growl catches outer attention. He gently pushes me behind him.

"RAPH WHY ARE YOU DEFENDING THIS DRAGON SCUMBAG!" Casey demands as he clutches his bat. Just before he could charge at me again. Raphael grabs Casey's hands. Holding his bat up above both of their heads.

"Listen to me, you bone head she's not like the others." Raphael yells as he tries to hold him back. Then Leo and the rest of his brother's gather around Casey to hold him back. While my brothers and Splinter are at my side.

"Are you alright Evelyn?" Splinter asks as he looks at my now slightly bleeding shirt.

"I'm okay." I say as I hold my side. I can feel it twitching. My brothers stand at my sides while we watch Leo and his brothers try to calm Casey.

"You've got it all wrong Casey. She's not like them." Leo says as he and Raph hold one of Casey's arms.

"Casey take it easy. Evelyn is not a bad person." Mikey says as he struggles to hold Casey.

"She's one of us." Donnie says as he tries to hold his waist.

"LET ME GO! THIS DRAGON SCUM HAS TO PAY" Casey roars as he struggles to get out of all four of their hold.

"Mr. Jones is blinded by his rage." Splinter speaks as he stands protectively in front of me.

"Then what do we do?" Leo asks with a groan.

"We have to calm him down." Donnie says.

"Yeah but how?" Raphael asks.

"I have an idea." I said as I step away from Splinter and my brothers. I step across the dojo mat. Then I look at Leo and his brothers.

"Mr. Jones, I understand your anger. You despise the Purple Dragons. But know this. I hate them too. What they do to the people of this city." I begin to explain. "But I had no choice to join them. I had to do what I would to keep my brothers safe. I sold my soul to them in order to give my brothers a decent life." I continue as I looked deep into those burning blue eyes. "And while I can't justify what I've done. But I know what they have done. And I had no choice but to follow their lead. " I continued my story. "I know this won't make up from all the horrible things that the Purple dragons have done to you. But I want you to know that. I'm sorry for what they have done to you." I say honestly. "And you deserve to take your revenge." I said this surprises everyone. "I'm no one important from the gang. But you can take your anger out on me. And none of the guys will stop you." I said as I stand tall and hold my hands out, showing that I mean no harm or proof that I'm not the enemy. My words raise a loud reaction. My brothers protested and so did Leo and his brothers.

"Guys let him go." I told them.

"ARE YOU CRAZY!?!" I hear Raphael cry out.

"Evelyn you can't do this." Donnie said concerned for me.

"Trust me." I said as I looked from all the turtles worried faces. And then I looked at Splinter's face. I looked deep into his eyes. Hoping that he can understand what I'm trying to do. And I guess he does because he looks at his sons.

"My sons, let Mr. Jones go." Splinter orders.

"What?!?" All the turtle brothers say together.

"But father?!?" Leo protested as he looks at his father. Not sure about their father and Master's command. They hesitant at first, each brother looks at each other before they all look at their older brother, Leo. Then with a nod they all let go of Casey. Casey shakes his hands free from the turtles.

Once his arms are free, he looks at me and I see his eyes burning with the same anger and hatred he had before. With a battle cry I see him charge at me with his bat. I close my eyes ready to accept the strike. However I didn't feel anything pain. Instead I hear grunt, like an annoyed grunt. I open my eyes and see Casey holding his bat just above his head. But he's struggling to bring the bat down. His eyes are no longer the raging inferno. Now only conflict rages in those blue eyes of his. Then he makes his decision.

"Ah...I'm not going to fight some injured kid." He says. He sounded like a disappointed child as he rips off his mask. "Let alone some little girl." He says as he puts his bat back in his bag that he has on his back. I couldn't help but giggle at his reaction, but I kept it to myself.

I was about to talk when suddenly my body go nub and I fall to my knees. I briefly heard a collection of worried voices call my name. I feel a set of hands touch my shoulder, but instead of the usual four fingers. I've felt five fingers and this hand felt bigger. Much bigger than my little brothers. I look up and see Casey looking down at me. And this time his expression is much more gentle. But my vision becomes blurry as I feel my head spinning.

"Hey you okay kid?" Casey asks. But before I could answer I hear a familiar little voice call out.

"Leave my sister alone! You big bully!" Yelled Raimundo. Then suddenly I hear Casey yelling in pain. I'm guessing Rai is punching him. I hear Casey trying to stop Rai but he continues to throw his little fists at a much bigger opponent.

If I had the energy to laugh I would. The idea of little Rai taking on Casey to protect me. But I can feel my energy draining fast. I feel a familiar furry hand gently touch my arm. I look and see Splinte. He helps me stand and leads me to his room. As we're walking I hear a collection of yelling voices from behind me. Once we arrived at Splinter's room he begins restiching my wound. Just as Splinter finished a knock is heard at his door.

"Enter." He says calmly. The door slides open to reveal a worried Leo.

"Master have you finished stitching Evelyn's wound?" Leo asks

"Yes my son, thankfully the wound did not reopen completely." Splinter explains as I fix my bloody shirt.

"Thats good." Leo says relieved. Then he comes in and sits in front of me. His worried expression never leaving his face.

"Eve what where you thinking. That was so unbelievably reckless." Leo says scolding.

"I know but I had to prove a point. I had to show Casey that I wasn't one of them." I explain. "I can tell that he truly despises the purple dragons. And I can only imagine what they have done to his family to have that intense hatred." I said as I look down at my hands. "But I still had to show him. A guy like him listens to actions. Not words." I finished explaining as I look at my friend.

"Evelyn was right. Mr Jones mind was clouded by hatred and grief. It was a raging flame that could only be quelled my a calm and compassionate heart." Splinter explains. "It was a risky but a wise decision. Evelyn made the right choice." He says as he gently places his furry hand on my shoulder. I look up at him and gently hold his hand.

I look back at Leo and while his physical appearance is calmer. I can sense that he's still worried, but I know that's coming from his carry for me as his friend. After getting packed up, Leo helps me back to the living room where everyone is. My brothers immediately check up on me as well as Mikey and Don. And I reassure them that I'm okay. I catch a glimpse of Raph and we lock eyes. He nods his head, which I guessed was his way of saying "glad you're okay" and I return the look with a smile. Then my eyes catch Casey. He apologized for what he did and I humbly accept his apology. Then together with my brothers we tell them the whole story and why we came to live with the turtles.

-End of flash back-

Its been a two week since the incident with Casey. And since then, she's proven to be a pretty nice guy. He's got a heart of gold behind that rough exterior. When he stopped by Rai and Gregory were very protective of me when he was around. But then they grew to like Casey. In away he almost seems like another brother to the boys. And I'm glad. I'm happy to have our family getting bigger. And honestly I'm glad that we settled the dragon issue with Casey.

'He's a big brut but deep down he care.' I thought as I look down at my scar. The bullet wound left a scar after I got the stitches removed. And its not a bad scar. Its maybe a few inches long. But its not bad. I'm so lost in thoughts that I didn't notice someone enter my room. I turn around when I hear a familiar voice call my name. I look and see Leo looking in.

"Hey whats up Leo?" I say with a smile. I let go of my shirt and walk towards him.

"Nothing much. Donnie wanted me to drop this off to you." He says as he hands me this weeks paper.

"Oh sweet. Thanks." I say with a smile. I happily accept the newspaper.

As I go to sit on my sleeping bag. I hear him make a noise. I look back at him and see his face full of worry and concern.

"Whats up Leo?" I ask him gently.

He's quiet for a moment. As if trying to find the words. Then he looks at me. "You're wound. How is it?" He asks bashfully.

"Its doing okay." I say as I shrug my shoulders. Then I lift up my shirt to show off the scar. "Its scaring pretty nicely." I say honestly as I can't help but giggle.

"I see well its just. Still a bad scar." He says bashfully as he looks down.

"Hey its okay. In the world that we live in, scars are to be expected." I admit honestly. "But I don't see it as anything to be a shamed of. I see it as a sense of pride and honor. " I say which surprised him.

"What do you mean?" He asks.

"Well I see them as proof of a person's strength of spirit." I begin to explain. "To me they are proof that no matter how many times the world knocks you down. The strength it takes to get back up and to never stop moving forward. Is represented on our bodies." I explain. Then I lift up my sleeve to show the scar that Leo left on my arm the night we first talked. "Besides I'm not ashamed of the scares I have. After all they led me to you. And now I can finally keep my family safe." I say with a smile as I look at him.

Leo is taken back by my words and I guess he's fine with my words. He's quite for a moment before he gently holds my arm in his hand. Then he lets his finger gently glide across the length of the scar his blade caused.. I can't help but shiver when I feel his cold touch.

"Sorry." He says bashfully noticing my shiver.

"Its okay. I was just surprised." I admit.

"Yeah, cold blooded. My hands are cold." I says with a bashful smile.

"Its not so bad." I with a smile. "Its a comforting cold. Kind of like a cool breeze on a hot summer day." I admit as I place my hand over his. It did feel like a cool breeze. Its so comforting, I relax into his touch. Then he placed his other hand over mine.

"I like how warm your hands are. I feel so peaceful. Its how I'd imagine the warmth of the sun." He admits as he looks into my eyes and I look into his. Or at least where I think his eyes are.

I look at his face again and I can't help but admire his face. He's surprisingly handsome for a mutant. His skin is a really pretty shade of green. It almost reminds me of the color Jade. I gently stroke my thumb over his surprisingly smooth skin.

"Eve." He said. And his the tone of his voice was so calm and smooth and it some how made my heart skip a beat.

"Yes Leo?" I ask bashfully, not sure what he was going to say. However just before he could say anything, a familiar voice echos throughout the layer.

"Yo fella's, I need some help!" We both hear Casey call out.

"Was that Casye?" I ask as I look at the entry way to my room.

"I guess so." Leo says.

"Lets go see what's the commotion." I said was I lead us out of my room.

We arrive at the center of the layer but to our surprise there were bedroom furniture. A few night stand and a couple of dressers. I see my brothers as well as Mikey, Donnie and Splinter have joined us.

"Whats all this?" Mikey asks as he we all gather around the furniture.

Suddenly a grunting sound is heard coming from the entrance that leads to the garage. We all see Raphael and Casey carrying a mattress.

"Yo Donnie. Mikey. Give us a hand with this bed." Raphael says as he and Casey place the mattress down.

"Raphael, Mister Jones. What is all this?" Splinter asks. Once Casye and Raph put down the mattress. He turns to look at me.

"Well I still feel bad for what I did to you, Eve. So I've been asking my neighbors if they had old furniture that they didn't need. And this is what I was able to find." Casey explained. "And Raph said that you were missing a bed. Thankfully I had a friend who's kid moved out. And since they didn't need it anymore. They said I could take it." He explains with a bashful smile. Then he points to Raph who bashfully looks away when all eyes look at him. "Plus they did have these dresser and night stands. So that's a bonus" He says with the biggest goofy grin I've ever seen.

"Raph you helped with this?" Leo asks surprised.

"Yeah yeah, I figured Eve must have gotten tired of sleeping on the floor." He says with his usual rough and non-interested attitude. But if you listen carefully there is a bit of comparison. He does care and i can't help but smile.

"Thanks Raphael." I say with a smile before I walk towards him and hug him. He's surprised at first because he wasn't expecting it. But then he relaxes into the hug.

"Well I figured sleeping on the floor might be bad for your back and all." He says bashfully. I pull back from the hug as Mikey and Donnie return with the rest of the bed.

"Sadly they didn't have any bed sheets." Casey said as he scratches his head bashfully.

"I think I know how to solve that problem." Donnie says. "We can as April is she has an spair bed sheets, when we visit her shop tomorrow." He suggests.

"Who's April?" Casey asks.

"She's a friend of ours. She just got some new merchandise for her shop. And she needs help moving things around. And she asked us to help her out." Donnie explains.

"Oh cool, I can't wait to visit her shop." Gregory says excited.

"Casey do you think you could help us out?" Donnie asks.

"Sure. I've got nothing to do tomorrow." He says with a smile.

"Great, meet us here tomorrow morning and we'll show you where to go." Donnie says.

"Oh I almost forgot." Casey says as he takes off his backpack. He opens it and reveal some small clothes. "These were some of my old clothes when I was a kid. Since I don't need them anymore, I figured these might fit the guys." He says as he hands Gregory and Raimundo the clothes.

"Cool!" They both said as they accept the clothes.

"Thank you so much Casey." I said happily as I rush towards him and nearly tackled him with a hug. Then I suddenly feel my brothers join in the hug. Casey is surprised at first but welcomes our hug.

"Ahh, its no big deal." He says bashfully.

After pulling back from the hug, Casye bid us all goodbye. Then with the help of my brothers and the turtles we brought the new furniture to my room. We set up my bed and one of the dressers and night stands. With everyone's help my room was almost completed. All I needed are some bed sheets and my room is done. So for now I placed my sleeping bag on the mattress.

Taking one last look at my room, I'm happy how it's coming along. Its really starting to feel like home. With a satisfied sight. I slip under my sleeping bag and snuggle into my new bed. As my eyes begin to close I thought I saw someone standing at my room entry way. But I ignored it, believing it was just my eyes playing tricks do to my sleepy eyes. Soon I fall into a peaceful sleep feeling safe in my new home.

Hey everyone thank you so much for making it this far

I know I said this chapter was going to be the start of the series. But I realize that I made a mistake. I still had to explain Casey's relationship with Eve and her brothers. Because I do have plans for not just Casye but for April too. Their relationship with the kids are going to be adorable

So now the next chapter will officially be the beginning of the series.

I promise

I appreciate all the comments that you all have been leaving. It's a big encouragement

Thank you all so much
