Chapter 7: Treacherous Swine
After receiving a phone call from Colonel Cortez after dealing the issue for Avery Carrington. He was asked by Cortez for a job, Tommy meets Cortez at his yacht.
"Mr. Vercetti!" said Cortez while sitting down, preparing to eat his lunch.
"Colonel." He politely replied back.
"Thank you for coming. Please sit. Lobster?" pointed at a lobster he was served for lunch.
Tommy looks for a second at the food, then looks back at him and said "No…thanks."
"I'm ashamed to admit that one of the causes of our mutual problem appears to have been the loose tongue of a man I used to trust." Saying it with disappointment and fury at the same time. "I've been carrying Gonzalez for years, but now his incompetence reaches new heights!" he so angrily stated, for realizing how blind he was for not knowing what his right hand man has been doing. "It is only right that you kill Gonzalez…" he directly looked at Tommy.
Tommy, curious as to why he would kill his right hand man, immediately asks, "Did he do it? It's the money that's important to me."
Tommy, thought for a short bit and simply said, "For this kindness, I'll reward you, and then we will find your money together."
Then one of his crew puts a chainsaw down on the table in front of Tommy, "He will be at his Penthouse, half-drunk probably. Use this…"
Tommy looked at the chainsaw, already clear of what he was about to do, automatically goes to the Penthouse Gonzalez was at in Vice Point, where Gonzalez is being protected by Diaz' men. Once in the Penthouse, he spots Gonzalez, talking with some of the men. He then shouted, "I'm going to shut that big mouth of yours!"
Once hearing this, Gonzalez turns around and looks at him frightened, "Eh! He's got a blade!" Then he starts to run, seeing this, he quickly spoke "Stop running you fat slimeball!" and chases after him.
Tommy quickly chases Gonzalez down and kills him, alarming the police in the process. Hearing the sirens getting closer, Tommy drives to the nearest Pay-and-Spray to avoid the cops.
