Hello, wonderful readers. I hope you had a productive week and have something nice planned for the weekend.

Thank you all for the wonderful comments and messages. I am still in awe that people find this story good enough to keep reading. It really means a lot, and I can't thank you enough for the support. As always, I hope you enjoy the chapter.

P.S. One of you suggested posting the story to Archive of Our Own; I will try to post it there over the weekend.

"Where were you?" was the first and only question she was asked when she walked into the car shop. Ignoring the two men standing by the door, Jandi fastened her steps to move past them and headed straight to the stairs. With her quick steps, getting to Bom's bedroom on the second floor took some seconds. She quickly removed her hoodie and threw it onto the bed. The bathroom at the corner she was rushing to, she was under the shower's cold water in seconds. The perfect pressure of the water attacking her shoulders, she brushed her hair back as she took a deep breath. The call she wasn't expecting; her heartbeat had been hard to manage since she read the text sent to her from Bom. Her mind was going 100 miles an hour; she needed to find a way to make it focus. All the orders she gave her body to get back in line don't seem to work. During the last hour she spent on her way home, she had been fighting her mind, but everything was silenced once she got under the cold water. The water was always the best way to prepare her for whatever awaited her.

The water dripping from her body wrapped with the gray towel, she headed straight to the bedroom, and the outfit lay on the bed. The blue dress they had picked out for her was the first mistake of the night. The two straps she pulled across her shoulder holding the dress were criss-crossed on her back. The straps going down her back, the dress's fabric had started almost by her waist. Her back being bare wasn't as much of an issue as the front, where the draped fabric was a bit low to showcase some cleavage. Her body didn't feel fully comfortable with it, but she didn't have time or the mental capacity to whine about the dress. The side zipped up; she switched to getting her face done. She had a short time to finish her makeup and started with the moisturizer that needed to go on first. Not adding any color to her face, she stayed neutral, finishing it with light lip gloss. She needs to look good enough but not stand out. Her hair was tied in a low bun, and she used some bobby pins to make sure all of it was moved away from her face. For the simple jewelry, she added a stud earring and a necklace. The necklace was put there to distract from the low cut of the dress, but it would do the opposite. Their eyes lingered there whenever she wore a dress like this, so she had always chosen to wear dresses that exposed her legs or back but covered her whole chest. She hated it, but her mind was too distracted to worry about that now. If she had been the one to pick the outfit, she wouldn't have picked blue to begin with. Since she was out doing whatever with whomever, her team members had to pick the outfit for her and have everything ready.

" You got 10 minutes," she heard the men scream downstairs. She didn't need it; she was in front of them a minute later. Her leather jacket zipped up; she had chosen to wear one of the comfortable heels she had on. Wherever she was called for would require some work, and her legs, being her best tool, were covered by the comfortable shoes from the three they had brought for her to pick.

" Ready?" the same man who had given her the ten-minute mark asked. Her silence was the response as the two men led the way out of the car shop they locked behind them. She should have been curious about how nobody was there today but had other things to worry about. As always, their car parked right in front, and she headed to the back seat. The car they were in would take quite some time to get them to wherever they were taking her. She was used to the routine for her to be worried about what she could be doing. She has done it enough times to predict how this will go. As they left her neighborhood in minutes, Jandi was busy with something else instead of trying to figure out why she was called in today.

The quiet ride didn't take Jandi more than a minute or two before her mind was sent to where her chaotic day had started. The airport. Although she could blame herself for even accepting Jihoo's request to get coffee, that decision wasn't considered the worst part of the day as her confused mind quickly sent her to the cafe. Her back sent to the comfortable seat the belt was holding her to, her right hand was slow as it was raised to her lips. With his soft fingers that had dared to touch her lips, the moment she thought about it, she was taken right back to the small garden. The vivid images she had in her memory were nothing compared to her body, which recalls every emotion that passed through it since the moment he touched her. Emotions she couldn't label, let alone understand, she was placed back in the swinging chair.

What is happening?

What is happening?

Was all that crossed her emptied-out mind the second his two fingers landed on her bottom lip. Every other thought was wiped away, leaving her always-crowded mind blank. Her eyes, which hadn't even blinked, were fixated on the boy who, with his smiles and kindness, was breaking through the thick walls she was supposed to have to gate herself away from all the emotions she had deemed useless. Her walls and all the demons she hides behind them seem to have stayed down, giving in to his calm. His alluring eyes she was staring into were more terrifying than anything as they forced her to accept their ability to silence her anxiety.

What is going on?

The question this time was asked for herself as her anxiety wasn't even triggered, but a new type of unease was starting to itch. Not knowing what would happen next, mixed in with not having any clue what was happening to her body that wasn't triggered to fight or run away, Jandi sat there in utter confusion about what was happening to her. What Jihoo was doing was a worry that would be left for later. What would occupy her weekend was what was happening to her all because of her so-called friendship with Jihoo. She would spend every minute of the weekend examining herself and herself alone.

There was a reason Bom had explained why he kept people at a distance and didn't have friends. The attachment she was building with the person she had started worrying about would make her vulnerable, and it was a distraction. She had accepted all his teachings with no question and lived without having one tested until now. Her first real test of creating any bond with anybody outside her team, Jandi, was already failing as Jihoo was granted access to things nobody else could do. The boy she had readily accepted because he did the bare minimum and stood for her; she had thought she could control what came out of all the time they spent together. Sitting in front of him now was when it clicked that she had lost that control. The friendship she had thought she could end whenever she wanted or make it whatever she wanted, she hadn't even questioned where it was leading her when she spent days worrying about what would happen to him when Seohyun left. The hours and hours she spent with him in meetings, the lunch they had almost every day, and the way she started her school day by enjoying the tea he got her and having a nice chat in his office, building an attachment to the person she was spending most of her time with was an expected result. But none of it had clicked until this moment. Not even when his smiles started being labeled adorable, his silly jokes hilarious, his calm voice soothing whenever she heard it on the phone, not even when everything he wore made him handsome, not even then had she questioned what was happening to her.

It took one kiss and now this to wake her eyes to what she had been blind to.

The realization that had paused her terrified self, the universe had other plans as her eyes moved, following his body that was coming closer. Her body she was expecting to react; she could tell even Jihoo was baffled by her lack of reaction to his body that had broken into her personal space. Her shaken eyes glued on him; the unease that was taking over her was coming from an odd place. Her nervousness was reaching a new high as her eyes scanned his face that was inches away from her. All thanks to the realization that her body didn't mind any of it; in fact, it welcomed it.

" Sorry," Jihoo whispered as he drew his hand back. His right hand pulled down; he had shaken his head as he moved back to his side. What the fuck just happened?

" I'll be back," he quickly stood up.

"This," he had the right excuse as he pulled at his wet sleeves that had wiped away the tea. With his quick steps, Jihoo had walked away without even once looking back. The girl he left behind, her eyes had followed every step he took until he disappeared out of view. The deep breath she was taking, she needed double the amount of oxygen she was inhaling to keep up with the rapid beating of her heart. Her hands were brought to her face; she placed both on her cheeks, which were starting to feel weird.

The girl that had no reference for what it felt like to have a crush on somebody, it wasn't odd for her to be confused about what she was feeling. The ten minutes she spent sitting alone was all she needed to get her mind to conclude that she did have some feelings for Jihoo, but it was deemed as a variation of friendship. For now, that was all she could do. Depper analysis was left when she got home. Lucky for her, the Jihoo that returned from the bathroom didn't bring up what happened. He had acted like nothing had happened. Which, if she had to be honest, had left her feeling some type of way. Jihoo didn't seem even a tiny bit affected by the turmoil she was dealing with as he continued his smiling about getting her another tea. His ability to mask his feelings and put on an act was unmatched.

Her confusion about him didn't end there. As they left the cafe and started heading to the car Jihoo had made his second request of the day.

" Do you want to go see the cruise ship for the senior trip next weekend?" Jihoo, opening the passenger door, asked, leaving Jandi confused.

" I am scheduled to check with the event organizers."

" It's close by," he added, pointing behind him. Jandi standing by the door he held open; her questioning eyes weren't remotely concerned about the cruise ship but were curious about why he was asking her to go. His nervous hands tightened their grip on the door handle. Jihoo had given her a soft smile as he waited for her to say anything, but she didn't. She stood there, with her sharp eyes gazing at him. Her eyes, looking for an explanation, didn't get any. His walls were more gated than hers and it will take more time to lower any of them.

The smoothness of Yijeong or the bluntness of Woobin he didn't have, the charm of Junpyo he couldn't come close to, Jihoo could only blame himself for having no experience dealing with girls he was interested in. It was only Seohyun all his life, and he didn't need to do much with her. She was always around and so easy to talk to. This was a first, and even asking her to spend time with him was shaking his confidence. Her silence and those precious eyes staring at him were the ones to blame for his nervousness about asking the girl he already spends so much time with to go places with him. Their friendship that existed in the school felt different once they were out in the world. When they weren't dressed in their uniforms, it felt odd to spend time as the individuals they were outside of school. But all the nervousness he felt would be erased immediately once she agreed. His reaction to getting yes was adorable.

The private cruise ship, he wasn't telling the truth when he said it was close by. It had taken them more than half an hour to get to the harbor. The grand ship they could see even before they got to the parking lot; Jandi was glad she agreed to this. She had wasted some seconds standing there, just looking at how massive the ship booked for the senior's trip was. Her first ever luxury cruise ship, even looking at it was an experience. The tickets she couldn't even dream about affording; she hadn't even thought about attending until this second. The guest tags they were given, she placed it on her chest as one of the crew members started leading them to the entrance. Her fascinated eyes, from the size of the ship, switched to the staff members who were loading a lot of supplies onto the ship. Do they just work and live on the ship? She asked herself as she found another interesting job she might consider. She could live on the move, but then again, she would have to serve people. Maybe not if she worked kitchen staff or room service.

Just the mere size of the ship would have been stunning enough until they were welcomed by one of the managers and led to the venues being prepared for the event.

"Should we start with the pools because we are already out?" The manager led the way to the two pools that were being cleaned. Jandi's utterly shook at what she was witnessing was adorable as Jihoo had even snuck and taken a photo of her. The 6 staff members cleaned the grand pool, her shock to even see a pool inside of a ship was cute.

" We are building the dance floor by the corner as the organizer asked, the DJ booths will be at each corner after," the manager went on briefing Jihoo while Jandi moved away from them and headed closer to the edge of the pool. Just the view from the pool was enough to remind her of all the things she couldn't imagine money could buy. She could only dream about swimming in a pool on the ship while looking at the endless ocean. Could you imagine what the sunset would look like from here? She spent more than enough time lost in her thoughts while Jihoo got his full report on how things were going.

Her day he wanted to himself; he had easily agreed when the manager offered for the kitchen staff to prepare sample plates for them so he could try out what the food for the trip would be like. And that was how Jandi ended up on the dining floor of the ship and the amazing buffet laid out for them.

" This is too much." Leaning to Jihoo, she whispered.

" This is just samples. Half of our stuff is off this is not even the full menu" the manager responded to her whisper he had heard.

" You first" As always Jihoo was a gentleman and had signaled for her to start first.

"We're here," the voice from the passenger seat pulled Jandi back to reality. Her eyes glanced up; she scanned the area around them. Why were they at the club?

" Is Bom here?" she asked. The men didn't answer; they just exited the car. Following behind, she reserved her questions as she saw the three cars she recognized parked there. Taking mental pictures of everything around her, Jandi slowed her step to stay behind the two men leading the way. The dark parking lot they were in was making it difficult for her to figure out if they were carrying any guns hidden behind their clothes. They had weapons, but maybe not guns. Although she knew them, nobody trusted anybody in her work. You always have to be ready to be backstabbed or betrayed by one of your own. The only one she trusted, she had already asked for him. When they turned right at the corner, she made out the backdoor of the club they were headed to. She could see the small light from the door slightly left open, and her right hand was sent to her thigh. It was an instinctive reaction. Anytime she walked into a space, even if it was one she knew, she had to prepare for what was on the other side, specifically on days when she was called to help without any arranged plans.

The door they walked into, her eyes were instantly pulled to the dark hallway leading them to the other side. In the tube-like hallway, Jandi had to turn back and look at the door they left behind. She hadn't been there in a while, and the distance between the two doors at each end looked longer than usual. Her eyes that glanced up were focused on the two cameras at each corner she knew were working. The beating sound of the music she could now hear, she returned her eyes to the door. The red light coming from the door, she knew the club was probably packed on a Saturday night. The loud music that was beating from every speaker was ignored as they passed right through the two security guards who didn't ask for anything. The girl they couldn't recognize, they had only scanned her up and down as she walked past them. Considering all the beautiful girls that came and went, it was hard to recognize Jandi, who wasn't frequently there. The straight path to the club, she knew they wouldn't take as they turned left, to the door painted the same color as the wall. The door held open for her, and she started heading down the stairs the two men were leading.

They are heading to the private rooms, hidden underground.

" He said to wait for hi " One of them turning back was going to ask but wasn't given a chance to finish his sentence.

" I know" She didn't let him finish as she replied and turned right to head to the office at the end of the hallway. Her hand sent to her pocket, she headed to the room where she knew the combinations to the door. Walking into the office, her attention was immediately placed on the boxes in the corner. Pulling one of them down, she had only found shirts. Kicking the box to the side, she headed to her favorite place to sit in this office, the desk chair. Bom's jacket behind it, even the chair smelled like him as she sat with her back resting right on his jacket. Her anxiety lowered knowing he was here, she wasn't given much time to be alone in the room as the door opened slowly.

" huh," she sighed as she got her first look at Bom. One look was all it took to know this wasn't one of the days to even exchange Hi. That's how much she had studied his behavior; to the point she could assess the seriousness of a situation with just one look at his face.

"We have to leave now" his words were muffled by the shirt he was pulling over his head. The rough tone she could sense in his voice, she kept her eyes on him. The tattoo covered back of his, the black t-shirt he put on covered it all up. With the t-shirt he started tucking into the black cargo pants he had on, Jandi's eyes were directed to the military-grade black boots he had on. That was her first clue, but she had gotten a concrete one as he headed to the book shield. Leaning down he had opened the drawer hidden underneath the bookshelf. The shoulder holster he pulled out of the drawer was sent across his broad shoulders. The leather straps across his shoulder and the two loaded guns were placed at each side of his rib. The vertically held guns were positioned perfectly for him to draw them as fast as possible.

" Is it a job?'' Jandi asked as she watched him pull out the two knives. One was placed in the specially hidden back pockets of the custom-made cargo pants he wears, the other was placed in his boots. With the all-black-out fit he had on, the last thing to be added to his outfit was his leather jacket.

" We'll talk on the way. Let's go" he commanded as Jandi jumped up from the chair and started following him. His right hand sent to his pockets, she noticed the black cigarette he pulled out. The hidden door they will use to leave the club, her eyes were more focused on Bom who lit the cigarette he sent to his lips. He seems worried. The weapons he had all over him had let her know this was a serious case, but seeing the look on his face was what made her a bit nervous about why she was asked here. Unless it was to spy or snoop for information, she rarely was allowed to go out on the dangerous mission he was involved in. This wasn't her first, but her confidence always gets shaken when she senses any worry about him.

The door they walked past, they were welcomed by a nice breath that had brushed his jacket to the side. As she walked behind him, even Jandi couldn't help but admit how scary he looked with all the black covering him from head to toe. All the weapons hidden across his body, the cigarette he was inhaling, her eyes following the white smoke had stayed on her charming father figure who loved her beyond she could even understand to the point he would kill and die for her. The second that realization hit, even her walk had started changing. His presence was a drug that would instantly boost her confidence. There was no place she wouldn't go into if he was in front of her. Even hell would be a cool place if she woke up from death and realized he was there with her. There is no reason to be scared of anything when he was there. For now, the only man who had her full heart. The competition that was coming for him; he wasn't even remotely aware of what had been brewing at that school, let alone be prepared for any man to want his most precious.

The car they entered would be out of the parking lot in seconds. The freeway they were headed to was the easiest way to get them to the other side of town. The window beside him left open; he blew the white smoke out that way. His right hand steering the car, Jandi's eyes were forced to notice the bandage across it. He had punched or fought with somebody today because that wasn't there yesterday. Her questioning eyes switched to his face; she tried to ignore his annoying habit as she watched his left hand bring the cigarette to his lips. The short life they were planning on living, she couldn't even use " it will kill you " to make him stop smoking. Live wild and die young was the motto most of the Hyongs around her lived by. The heavy alcohol and drugs he avoids, the only habit of his she didn't like was this. Thankfully, Bom had opened his lips and started talking about where they were headed to help her forget about the smoking instantly.

"We have been trailing one of the prosecutors who works in the commissioner's office.".

" He consults on all the cases that are covered under the ch

" I know," she cut him off.

" I was in the meeting months ago before you decided I wasn't needed," the shape words she was known for; Bom had turned his eyes her way to make sure what he sensed hidden behind her words was present on her face. He needed to see if she needed a reminder of why he kept her out of things. It was for her safety, and even if she didn't like it, she knew it.

" We had staked out his office and home for the last 7 months."

" Ctrl was able to crack some files we got from his hard drive from his home a month ago '' Jandi, listening to everything, kept her eyes on his right hand, which was steering the wheel as they smoothly turned the 360 round to join the freeway.

" His home?" She asked. She wasn't aware somebody was doing undercover stuff. Before she even got her answer, she was reminded of the time she was wasting in that school. If not for that, it might have been her who would have infiltrated his house and got the hard drive. She was just doing nothing while everybody else was still working hard for their mission. While she wasted 3 years at that school with nothing to show for it, the team only took 7 months to find a lead.

" It's not our person." Bom was quick to make her get out of her thoughts. The mission they were on tonight wasn't a one-person task.

" We found some of the classified court files that were sealed; we got some names"

" Ctrl will give you a copy. The prosecutor worked

" I know the cases he worked on'' Her mind was quick to bring up the picture of the prosecutor they were talking about. She had read almost all of the cases he consulted on. She had even sat in one of the court cases and had heard him present his case. With the expensive suit and watch he had on, Ctrl had made sure she knew the price of every item he was wearing while Jandi focused all her attention on him rather than the nonsense he was presenting for the judge. Lucky for him, she wasn't sent to look for him that day. Nomater what she was called here for, she was excited she would get to see him tonight. If shit hit the fan, she knew she might be told to eliminate him, and it would be the highlight of her year. If Bom had called for her, there was a likely chance this wasn't just risky but needed to be executed perfectly. There was no room for error if both Bom and her were involved.

" What's the job?" she asked as she sat folding her arms. Now, all her energy was focused on what she was good at. His eyes from her had glanced at the glove compartment. Opening it, Jandi pulled out the takeout bag carrying the black box she recognized very well. Her little smile, her eyes had turned to Bom blowing out the white smoke. Her right hand that opened the box had picked the earpiece box first. The pieces fully charged, hers was placed in her right ear, and she handed Bom the other one. Her right hand adjusting the earpiece, was changed to the GPS of the car she turned on. The custom-designed car only takes a few minutes after the GPS is turned on for their car to show up on one of the many screens Ctrl has hidden in the underground room they have built under the house.

" You guys are late" was the first thing they heard out of the earpieces. His fingers typing as quickly as they could, he was able to quickly locate and calculate the distance between the car he could see on his map and the hotel they were headed to.

" 2 minutes," his words were followed by the cigarette Bom threw out the window and his left hand that was sent to the steering wheel. All the windows were ordered to shut, the speed of the car was about to break the law as Bom focused all his attention on the traffic ahead. The man she would trust to drive even when blindfolded, Jandi wasn't worried about the cars he was passing as she focused on all the things she had to do.

" I checked all the systems in the hotel, and they are on regular security. There is no extra security today. Several events are happening." Ctrl went on to give them all the background information they needed to know about the hotel he had been studying for over a week. Jandi adjusted her hair to make sure the hairpin that was hiding the camera was fully covered and turned her attention to the small makeup bag that had all the things she would need. Making sure every item was working was her next task, and she started with the lipstick that had a hidden sharp knife in it. The training she had to take to learn how to use small knives and where to stab exactly, the lipstick was placed in her right hand as she practiced her swing. Her right hand was trained for precision.

" The best way to enter the hotel is the east gate. Only two cameras and I have both." Ctrl's words forced Jandi to turn to Bom. There were a lot of people involved today.

" How are we getting in?" Jandi asked as she zipped her purse.

" the prosecutor worked on the drug charges that sent the Kim dragons' leader to jail.'' turning her way, Bom gave her the background information she needed to know who was helping them. He didn't need to add much about anything for Jandi to know this wasn't just about them anymore. Bom gave her some seconds, so she understood the full risk of what was waiting for them. One of the most famous gangs in the country, The Kim Dragons, was something she was aware of even before she could write. Getting involved with them, which they were all forbidden, the files they got had to be beyond important for Bom to risk working with them.

" They did a lot of the groundwork, including getting those files. He has been on their radar for years, and they want him gone"

" They have people in there," Ctrl added to the conversation.

" They have two cars outside too" he added as he glanced at the screen showing the live stream he had off all the cameras pointed at all the roads leading to every entrance of the hotel.

" They are taking him out, but I don't trust them." Bom brought her attention back to him.

" Also they asked for a backup" Ctrl was the one reminding everyone why the Kim Dragons needed them. The negotiations she wasn't part of, she was only given what was necessary.

"Your person needs to be at the hotel by 10 p.m." one of the men sitting in front of Bom had led the conversation that happened a week ago. With his unmatched bravery, he had walked to the center of their territory without even a gun. The meeting he attended alone, was part of the reason even the Kim Dragons were a bit scared of this man nobody seemed to know what he was capable of doing. Don't go looking for trouble; they were all told by their boss that told them to work with Bom.

" As we agreed, one of our members will leave the access card and everything in room 324. The pass only works for general security. The private event is in a special room, and they would need a wristband we will provide. We have our person working the event; he is disguised as the waiting staff. He will be wearing a butterfly pin next to his name tag. In case it comes to it, we expect your person to make contact with him" The man had slid the picture of the butterfly pin that Jandi was provided in the car, which she took a mental picture of the pin she needed to recognize.

" Like you asked, all of our people will leave, if your team needs to take over" the man smiling at Bom had expected a response. There was none as Bom stood up and left. There was nothing that needed to be said. If they did their part, he was sure there was no need for his team to get involved. But like everything, the plan had mishaps which was why Jandi was here.

" They weren't able to get access to the event or get all the security cleared" Ctrl ready to point fingers, tried to make sure Jandi understood it wasn't their team that made any mistake.

" the event was changed to another venue in the last minutes and I don't trust their plan" Bom clarified.

" I wouldn't either," Jandi agreed with him.

" That is why you are here" Bom reverted the conversation back to why she was called.

" Do you trust them?" Jandi asked the most important question.

" Our team is on standby." Ctrl gave her the answer. There was no trusting anybody, and Jandi being the one put at the most risk, she could rest assured Bom had the whole place surrounded to make sure she got out without a scratch.

" He has people at their places so if they try, it's gonna be war" Ctrl added as Jandi sent her eyes to Bom. The man who doesn't play games when it comes to her safety, he wasn't even aware of the standard he was setting for what she would expect from men who dare claim to care about her. In her world, truly caring for somebody's safety meant being willing to die and kill.

" I am here" was all Bom had to say. She doesn't need anything else but him to come to her rescue to feel assured. He always had her back, and tonight he was even armed and ready to prove that if the risk they were taking turns red, he was ready to put bullets through heads. her safety was his responsibility, what he hated the most was the fact that he always had to stay behind and watch her walking into danger alone. The risk she takes alone, no matter how fast he can react to it, he was never there with her and nothing pains his heart as much as that.

" Why?" Jandi asked, still not sure about the collaborative work happening.

" The enemy of my enemy" Bom started exiting the freeway. The car on high speed was less than 10 minutes away from the hotel they were headed to.

" That man is a devil in a nice suit. Did you know he is working on the twin boys' case" Ctrl was always the opposite of Bom who only says a few words. The case Ctrl brought, Jandi was quickly reminded of the news that was all over the country about two years ago. The drowned bodies of the twins that were found by the river, the whole country was in shock while the police report was made about all that was done to them including the drugs found in their system.

" If it comes to it, I say take him out" Ctrl gave his opinion on the matter.

" you are here to observe and be on standby" Bom gave her the order she would follow.

" If they mess up, we will take over" The car started slowing down, and Jandi focused on the hotel they were driving to that was in full view.

" and if necessary?" She asked

" We will take him out" Bom gave her plan B which she was more excited about than plan A.

The jacket she left in the passenger seat of the car, Jandi's skin was awakened the second the cold air brushed against it. With her quick steps through the east entrance of the hotel, she was greeted by the doormen. The grand lobby, her right leg exposed thanks to the slit of the dress, was leading the way as she fastened her steps to the elevator.

" There are 3 exits in the lobby, the main entrance. One straight ahead and the fire exit by the stairs" Ctrl was giving her live directions for any exit strategy she might have to plan. The hairpin she had added, he had a full view of what she could see. Screen 12, in the middle, was broadcasting the view from the camera in her hairpin. 2 screens with the floor map of the hotel while the rest were all the security cameras he had inflicted, Ctrl had every view of Jandi walking across the hallway. It was her and him now. The second man she would trust her life with was the man that hadn't left their neighborhood in years and rarely even goes out the house. His voice in her ears, there was a calm he provided even from afar.

" Hello" her small smile and bow at the people who left the elevator, Jandi was in full actor mode as she demonstrated the elegant young girl she was dressed as. 3rd floor pressed, she stood in the middle and took deep breaths.

" right turn then left" As the door opened Ctrl commanded. Her sharp turns, she was beyond focused as she gave everyone passing her a small node. Bom, parked right across the street, stood with his back against the car as he lifted his eyes to the third floor of the hotel across the street.

"Room 324" Ctrl leading the show had given her the code she would enter after placing her dress on her finger. There was no leaving any fingerprints tonight. When the light turned on in the room, Bom focused his attention on the room at the right corner of the 3rd floor. The cigarette he brought to his lips, he glanced at his watch, she had less than a few minutes to get everything they left for her, dispose of the rest, and leave.

Just like they were told, the items were placed in a to-go box that was on the TV shelf. The card and access codes placed in her bag, she put the wristband in her left hand. Everything left was flushed down the toilet.

" Left at the end and then take the elevator" Ctrl leading the show was the one directing her once she left the room.

" the double door by the end, that is how you get to the exclusive side of the hotel" Ctrl directed her steps to where she needed to be.

" Once you pass that door, there is no security camera" Ctrl gave her some comfort. Until now she has been strategic about avoiding the camera as she has used her hair to cover her face. She had kept her eyes down to make sure her face was hidden. That was all she needed to hide. Her identity was a ghost, and she only needed to hide her face.

"Excuse me. Access" the security at the door had asked, glancing at Jandi who gave him a small smile.

"Here" Jandi holding her purse close handed him the access she got to enter the exclusive part of the hotel. Access card wasn't enough, he asked for her wristband he scanned.

" Enjoy" he had smiled at her as he pressed the door open for her.

" Huh' her deep sigh was matched to Bom who had also sighed as he sat down in the driver seat and focused his eye on the laptop on the passenger seat he had set up. Both Ctrl and Him had a clear view of whatever the camera in her hairpin was capturing.

" This floor is the restaurant and bar. The back is a club"

" If you go downstairs, there is a pool club" Ctrl was giving the run down on the exclusive and private area of the hotel most have never even seen.

" your man is in the club in the back, there are private rooms in there" he added as he sat back. Jandi's eyes scanning everyone in the restaurant, both Ctrl and Bom were looking at every face she was walking past. With the smiles she was getting, Ctrl was the only one used to seeing the men who looked at Jandi in the way they did. Bom inhaling his cigarette, he didn't like any of it. Her wristband scanned again she was allowed to the entrance of the club.

" oh wow," Ctrl was the only one who vocalized how startled he was by the club she walked into. The dancing girls in the tall glass cages coming down from the roof, that was where Jandi's eye started. So this is what luxury clubs do? She asked. This wasn't her first time seeing almost naked women dancing but the glass cages hanging from the roof were new. Her eyes on the flashing red light coming from the ceiling, led her eyes to the dance floor, another sight she was used to. Drunk and drugged-out people lose their minds to the beat of the song drumming at everyone's ear.

" I wonder how they get the supplies in here?" Ctrl asked. Even through the flashing dark lights, it was clear to see the drugged-out eyes of the people Jandi was walking past. With the strict drug laws of the country, it was odd how the underground drug market was flourishing with every law that was passed to block it. It had taken working with one of the most notorious gangs for them to even get the access cards to get Jandi here. The rich that lived above every law, was anybody shocked by the clear site of drugs in one of the most exclusive clubs in the city. The irony is the prosecutor and police commissioners being in the same club where every type of drug is being consumed.

" hey" with the sleazy smiles she was getting, Bom's focus wasn't on what Ctrl had asked about but on the men that were touching Jandi. Her focused mind in full control, Jandi had given them a small smile as she moved their hands away from her and continued her walk across the crowded dance floor. Her eyes were on the private room at the corner as she headed to the bar where she could have a great view of the private rooms. The attention she was getting hadn't stopped even once she got to the bar and sat on the stool in the corner.

" You're pretty"

" Can you get this pretty girl a drink?" the face of the man that sat next to her, a mental picture of him, was taken by Bom.

" No thank you" Her decline wasn't accepted as the man sent his right hand across her shoulder.

" Why not?" The man pulling her closer asked. Jandi, trying to ignore him, sent her eyes to the waiter she saw come out of one of the private rooms. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to see what was in the room. Her eyes following the waiter; she wasn't close enough to see if he had the butterfly pin either. The dark flashing lights weren't helping either. And there was this drunk man annoying her.

" I already had enough" Trying to keep her composure, she refused as she moved his arm away from her shoulder.

" Oh come on"

" There is no such thing as enough" his hand from her shoulder was sent to her right leg which was left visible. The second she felt his touch, her eyes looked down, giving both Ctrl and Bom a clear view of the man's hand on her thigh. Ctrl adjusted his shoulders, no matter how many times he had seen men flirt and touch her, even he was triggered by by the sight. It was only Jandi that was desensitized by it. Being amazing at what she does, she decided to use the man as she sat closer. Talking to him was a great cover to keep her eyes on the private rooms. If she was by herself and staring at the doors, that would look suspicious.

"Maybe one more" Her sly smile she knew how to use, she agreed. Only the two men watching everything on the screen understood the dirty look in the man's eyes. And even though they knew there was no way he could do anything to her without having his guts rearranged, both couldn't help but get angry at looking at any man lusting over her.

Her plan was working as her flirting with the man was enough cover to keep her eyes on the room. How desensitized she was to all of it, Jandi wasn't even bothered by his right hand that was caressing her thigh. She couldn't feel anything. Her body was shut down and had only one goal. There was nothing this idiot could do to get her to feel anything. His hand that moved to her naked back, even when he was tracing her spine, she was there smiling at his ridiculous jokes unbothered by any of his touches. Lucky for her, that didn't last long, as she finally found the man they were all looking for. As group of suited men left the private room in the corner. She recognized the one in the gray suit as the prosecutor.

"There is our man" Ctrl who zoomed his view confirmed that was her target.

" I don't see any of their people around him; how do they plan to get this man," Ctrl asked.

" Excuse me," she had quickly stood up, smiling at the man.

"Thanks for this' she picked up the drink he had gotten her and quickly started heading to the other side of the club. Her eyes on the group of suited men walking across the edge, she turned her focus to all the young women with them. The almost underage-looking girl that were walking with the married men who were older than their dads, Jandi scanned all to see if any were suspicious enough to be the hidden agent Kim Dragons had. The girl in the red dress, who was scanning her surroundings, Jandi suspected her. Jandi brought her drink lips and took a sip while turning around right when the girl in the red girl turned in the direction Jandi was.

" too sweet" Jandi complied at the drink she had to sip. Her eyes returned to the girl in the red dress, she caught her at the right moment she gave a nod to somebody across the room.

" Did you see that?" she asked as she quickly changed her focus to the direction the node the girl gave. That was when she found the waiter who was walking away. With the butterfly pin on his left chest, Jandi slowed her walk as he walked past her. She slowed her steps as she brought the drink to her lips and acted like she was drinking.

" Don't follow them. They might be watching for anybody tracing them" Bom commanded as Jandi turned the opposite and started heading to the dance floor. Her hands raised, she started acting like she was dancing to the rhythm, while she kept glancing to see where the group of men were headed. Her eyes were zoomed on the girl with the red dress laughing with the prosecutor.

" They are" Ctrl agreed as all made out to the man at the bar the girl in the red dress had given a sign. Jandi in the middle of the dance floor had caught the coordinated look of the three people before the group of men walked out of the club using the door in the left corner.

"Oh, they came prepared" Ctrl was the only one speaking as Jandi watched the man at the bar head to the same door the group of suited men had walked out of.

" They are going to get him one way or another, '' Ctrl added while Jandi returned her eyes to the waiter and caught him scanning the club. All knew he was looking for whomever Bom could have placed there as the backup. Her acting top tier, Jandi had given in to one of the men who pulled her close and started swaying her body to the rhythm of the song. His hand placed across her stomach, she didn't even mind his neck that was resting on her shoulder as he held her close and started dancing. It was a great cover to hide while she waited for the waiter. The second he stopped looking and started heading to the exit, she threw the hand holding her and started her quick steps.

" Follow the waiter, ' Bom commanded. Jandi changing her direction brought her purse to the front. The exit door he was headed to, her sharp eyes were on him as she moved quickly through the dancing crowd. The door he walked out when she got to it seconds later, she had pulled out the lipstick and placed it in her right hand before she opened the door. Her left hand used to open the door, her right hand ready to attack was held behind her. She was glad to find a hallway with three people, her eyes were on the waiter ahead as she started slowly following.

" The prosecutor seems very drunk" Ctrl who had every camera in the lobby found the prosecutor and two of the suited men walking into the back of the hotel lobby.

" The girl in the red dress is with him. The guy from the bar is following them from behind" he added. His focus was on that while Bom was on the man Jandi was following. The door he walked past, Jandi waited a minute before she opened the door as Bom asked her to. Just like Jandi, Bom knew the waiter was the hidden weapon they were using in case thier plan didn't go well and his identity was the one he needed to find.

" They are making a move. Their two cars are moving" Ctrl updated on the disguised cars the Kim Dragons had around the hotel.

" The man following them had exited the back door. It's only the girl with the prosecutor" Ctrl leaning closer kept his eyes on the girl holding the prosecutor up while they waited for his driver to bring the car over.

" She is in the car with him. They are leaving" Ctrl updated as Bom shifted his eyes to the SUV he saw driving out of the hotel.

" They got him," Ctrl added as he directed Bom's eyes to the car the delivery truck was waiting at the curb and one across the light. The black SUV carrying the prosecutor was being followed by the two cars in the opposite direction, which Ctrl expected Bom to follow but did not. Bom had sat down as he watched all the cars drive by.

" Tell everybody it's over" Bom commanded. Kim Dragons have completed their mission with no mishap so there was no need for them to get involved. As asked, Ctrl had text he teamed that would disperse away in minutes. More than the black SUV being followed, Bom's attention was on the man Jandi was following. There was something about that man that was bothering him. The exit door she saw the man walk out of, Jandi had hidden behind the two women giggling as he turned around before exiting through the door.

" What door is that?" Bom asked forcing Ctrl's attention to be on the location of Janid.

" The other side from where you are." As Ctrl provided the location Bom started his car and started driving to the other side of the hotel.

" He is in the parking lot" Jandi hidding behind the cars and chose to stay there and see what car he would start. Bom, driving to the other side, had stopped this car a distance away from the exit of the parking space.

" Dark green Toyota, 2376 last digits." Jandi, hiding behind the cars, had scanned the car that drove out. Her observation was correct, as Bom caught the car she described a minute later.

" I got him" Shutting the laptop, Bom put his seatbelt on.

" We are done. Go home," Bom commanded Jandi as he stepped on the gas. Neither she nor Ctrl asked why he was following the waiter. They were just happy Kim Dragons got the prosecutor. Jandi was busy being happy she didn't have to do much and her evening was done while Ctrl had a list of things to do.

"Huh" Letting out a deep sigh, Jandi started her walk back into the door. The long hallway leading her back to the club, she knew she had to cross it to get to the lobby where she could wait for a cab or call for a taxi to go home.

" Lucky you, I have to stay up all night" Ctrl had started complaining right when he was notified that Bom had turned off the earpiece he took off.

" Why?' Jandi asked as she opened the door and walked into the club's bathroom sections.

" I have to go through the all footage and identify the three people," he went on complaining as Jandi walked into the crowded club after scanning her wristband.

" I want to be there." he forced her attention on the dance floor she was avoiding as she started walking along the edge.

" You wouldn't survive a minute in here," she reminded both of how much of an introvert he was. With her quick steps across the loud place, she was happy when she walked out and headed to the restaurant she would have to walk through to get out of this side of the hotel. As she started her walk through the grand restaurant, she noticed the two men ahead of her. Her eyes fixated on the one with the white dress shirt, and she started quickening her steps. He looks very familiar.

Her steps turned to small jogs, and she walked out of the restaurant to find the two men separated. Her attention was on the one in the white dress shirt, and she started following behind.

" Who is that?" Ctrl asked as he made out the back of the man who started making a call, she was following.

" I don't know but he looks very familiar." was her response as she made the right turn and then the left turn the man took. Stopping by the edge, she only sent her eye to the man standing by the elevator. His face turned her way; she only needed a glance for her mind to filter through all the men she knew and find one that matched his face.

The man that had held her against the wall of that Club weeks ago, and the same one that was smiling at her when Junpyo dragged her to Woobin's hospital room. She knew she could trust her intuition which was triggered when she saw him. For some odd reason, her intuition was leading the way as she decided to follow him. She ran to the elevator to see what floor he was heading to. Second later, she was in the same elevator, pressing the B he had pressed. Only down a floor the elevator doors had open to expose a fancy hallway. The door at the right she saw closed, she trusted her gut that he went that way. The security behind the door had asked for her access card and wristband before she was allowed to walk through another door that opened to the grand view of the pool club hidden here. Standing by the edge, Jandi's startled eyes were focused on the massive pool surrounded by all the beautiful people dancing to the music of the DJ. With the women in their bathing suits, it was hard to avoid the sexy bodies of everybody around the pool. The people inside the pool, her eye ignored as she changed her focus to the bar on the left side.

" What is this?" Ctrl asked as he stood up. He needs to head to the bathroom.

" Nobody parties like rich people" was the last thing he said, leaving Jandi alone as he started running to the bathroom. Her eyes, which were supposed to look for the man she was following, had lost their focus as they got to the dance floor on the right side. All the couples swinging to the softer sounds of the music, she knew she wasn't somewhere she was supposed to be, but it was fascinating to watch. With her sharp eyes, she quickly found the man she was following heading to the corner of the bar. At the circle table, she watched as he was welcomed and sat at the center. The two girls sitting next to him, she scanned the two-piece bathing suits they had on. The drink they were pouring him, she started walking to the corner and kept her eyes on the drink he chugged down. There was something about this man she couldn't let go. Her arms crossed, she stood her back against the wall. Thankfully, there was no camera here for her to worry about being seen.

Her eyes zoomed on him; she was glad she had the hairpin still on. The video being recorded would be her evidence to use to find the identity of this man. The tequila shots one of the girls started pouring, Jandi knew what was coming as she saw the other girl place the salt on her chest. Before he took the shot, his lips were sent to her chest, where he licked the salt. Not surprised but feeling disgusted by it all, Jandi had decided to shift her focus somewhere. What she wasn't ready for was another unappealing scene as her eyes landed on the lounge chair in the back. The group of people cheering it was all the cheering that had gotten her attention. Yijeong spraying the two champagne bottles that were brought to the table; her startled eyes from him landed on the three girls standing on the glass table, dancing to the alcohol being sprayed on them. From their bare feet to their hair drenched with the alcohol, she scanned the girl before her eyes were sent to Yijeong, spraying them with the bottles that cost thousands of dollars. Woobin, sitting on the chair next to Yijeong, Jandi finally got her answer to what he looked like after weeks of staying away from school. Her right hand was quick as it was sent to the hairpin and turned it off before placing it in her bag. Neither Ctrl nor Bom needed to see what she was focusing her attention on.

As the girls got down from the table, Jandi's eyes were finally able to see the one in the unbuttoned black dress shirt sitting at the corner. As though just the sight of him wasn't enough, she had a clear view as one of the girls that got down took one of the bottles from Yijeong and started walking to him. The golden liquor she was drinking from the bottle was slipping down her neck and her body, which was already covered by the champagne. Even Jandi wasn't sure why she was stunned as she watched the girl take the two steps to the lounge chair Junpyo was lying on. The bottle tilted up; she had taken a big gulp before she sent her body to lay on top of Jun Pyo. Her lips sent to his, Jandi couldn't quite make out if the girl had accomplished her goal. The wet body of the girl on top of his was enough for Jandi, who turned her eyes away. She didn't need to see them kiss to know that it was happening. Even if she wanted a confirmation, she wouldn't be able to get one because of the distance between them. The view wasn't clear enough, and she could thank Yijeong for standing in front for preventing her from seeing any of it.

" he doesn't like this Champaign." Yijeong had been the one to give the girl the answer she was looking for why Junpyo hadn't welcomed her lips and brought that champagne to him.

" Is that so '' The girl swallowing the champagne sent her right hand Yijeong's way. As quickly as she handed Yijeong the bottle, she returned her body to Junpyo.

" Is it too sweet?" she asked.

" too sweet for him?" Yijeong pouring everybody a glass, signaled for the waiter to bring more bottles.

" am I too sweet for you, too?" Leaning closer, she sent her right hand to his necklace she had been playing with after unbuttoning his shirt all the way until the last three buttons that were saving his stomach from being exposed.

" Is that why you have been avoiding kissing me?" Leaning closer, she asked. At this point, it was better to ask than try again. Since they arrived, he has avoided all her efforts to kiss him. What could his lips do? she recalls from the night they spent together days ago. That was the main reason she was excited when Yijeong said they were coming. Her hands he had allowed to do whatever they wanted, unlike last time; his lips seemed to have been off-limits tonight.

" Maybe," Junpyo, blowing the smoke from the cigarette he moved away from his lips, whispered as he let her adjust herself to lay on top, almost all of her body on him. Not fully drunk, he knew this girl would get away with whatever she wanted if she waited enough for the alcohol to take over his self-control.

" I'll just jump into the pool and get rid of it then" She brought his attention to her body covered by the shimmer from the alcohol she was sprayed with.

"wanna join?" her flirtatious eyes were asking for something else as Junpyo brought the cigarette to his lip.

" No, but would love to watch," he responded as she slowly stood up. The beach lace kimono she had slowly taken off had exposed the white two-piece she had on. Her hair brushed back; her eyes hadn't missed their focus on him. With the smile accompanying her gaze, she placed the kimono on his chest as she started her walk to the pool in front. During her sexy walk to the pool, everyone sitting across the table knew who she was sending her smile and wink to as she jumped into the pool.

" We should all join in." Yijeong had been the one to bring everybody's attention to the pool they hadn't used.

" Let's go," the champagne bottles and glasses taken along; all had left behind Junpyo, who had used his cigarette as an excuse to stay behind.

The nicotine he inhaled, his eyes were on the girl who slowly pulled herself from the water she had jumped into. Her wet hair brushed back; she gave him another smile before she focused on swimming in the cool water. His consciousness that wasn't diluted enough by the alcohol he had been drinking; Junpyo didn't need a reason to justify why he was avoiding the girl throwing herself at him. He was used to it. Girls doing this to the point he was even used to turning them down was typical. But this wasn't one of those days. His wild thoughts and self-control he wanted to lose; something was holding him back tonight. His mind that wanted to shut down with whatever; subconsciously, his body was making its own choices as it avoided giving in to the girl that had been tempting him for hours.

The question he wasn't confident enough to ask himself, the universe gave him the answer as his eyes he wanted to send away from the pool had landed on the other side, and the set of eyes he would recognize anywhere. Standing with her back against the bar, her arms crossed, her angry eyes zoomed in on him; his busy mind had gotten what it was craving for as every thought was silenced the moment he saw her. The minute he wasted battling himself to accept that it wasn't a hallucination and she was here was all he had before everything else was removed from his awareness. Even the soft beat of the music had floated away as the people around him became 2-dimension figures. His blinking eyes were the only part of his body not paralyzed by her hauntingly terrifying eyes staring right at him. His frozen body, once the minute hit two, was when he was even aware that he needed to breathe. His eyes he couldn't lift away from the girl in the blue dress reflecting the beautiful light hitting the water, the trance her presence had placed him in was frightening. As though that wasn't enough her unnerving eyes had slowly lowered to his chest as though she wanted him to be aware of his heartbeat that had slowed. His eyes, following her lead, lowered to his unbuttoned shirt. The two red lipstick marks on his chest, his eyes returned to Jandi to catch the repulsed smirk she gave him before her eyes were turned to the reason she was there to begin with.

The anger in her crossed arms, she blamed the mere sight of him that always got a reaction from her. Her mind focused on the man she was following, she thanked God as she saw him stand up. The waiter handed him a card; the man had left his friends and started heading to the exit. Jandi, not missing a beat, had followed. Before she left the pool club, her eyes glanced back at Junpyo, who was following her every step. She could only blame her eyes for even looking back and that anger that was placed on the door she kicked open. Her focus he had messed with; Jandi wasn't as careful as she started following the man who had caught onto how she was following him after the second turn she made following him.

The right turn she saw him make, Jandi wasn't prepared as shewas instantly caught her off guard by the man that garbed her right when she turned the corner. Her body pushed to the wall, he grabbed both her hands she had sent to her bag.

" Are you following me?" he asked as he used his body to lock her against the wall. Her attempt to push him away only resulted in his tall body being used to push her body even tighter against the wall. Her legs she could use to kick him, her hands she could also easily free, she was only waiting for some seconds. She wanted to make sure she had a close view of his face that was brought closer.

" I've seen you before," he whispered as he scanned her face.

" Do I know you?" He asked with a weird smile.

" No," her quick response. He smiled at the clear angry look on her face.

" but I've seen this face before" his left hand leaving her hands was sent to the right side of her face he turned his way.

" I never forget a pretty face like this." The second his hand landed on her face, something was triggered. The way her body ordered for her to run away, and the anxiety that started was new.

"Are you sure I don't know you?" he asked as his hand that started tracing down her face reached her lips. Her fingertips that started fidgeting and attacking each other, something was taking over as her mind wasn't even able to react fast enough to order her hands to do what they do best. Her breathing that got disturbed the moment she got a sniff of the perfume he was drenched in. Her chest going up and down as a result of her heart asking for more oxygen to keep up with the anxiety that was triggered, her body was fighting its own battle against the new type of turmoil his touch had brought.

" This looks familiar. '' His little smirk as he touched her lips, he was smiling at how nervous she looked. To him, her scared anxiety was only adorable. Before she even decided what to do with his right hand, his left hand was sent to her right thigh left exposed thanks to the slit of the dress.

" Was this why you were following me?' The sultry tone of his voice had forced her eyes to return to his red ones. The anger and rage her eyes were known for, the fear the hides behind them was for once slightly visible as she felt his left-hand move higher. The usual unease feeling that takes over her skin whenever there is unwanted touch, today was a different one as every inch of it was frightened by the hand touching it.

" I was

" I wasn't" Her stuturing words were hushed by his fingers that returned to her lips.

" No need to be shy" he whispered. Jandi, in utter shock at the reaction of her paralyzed body, could only watch as his face started getting closer.

" HYUNG" she didn't even register the loud voice. Only the reaction of the man holding her was what she took note of as she watched the man's face move back before he sent his eyes to the person who had called for him.

" What are you doing?" the familiar voice she couldn't even register, her eyes turned to the curb to find Junpyo standing there.

" Was just having a chat with his beautiful girl" The man moving his hands away from her face smiled at her as he moved his body away from hers. Her hands tightly holding the straps of her purse, Junpyo's eyes were forced to move from that to an even more shocking sight. The man's hand that left the slit of her dress they had slid into. Junpyo's scary eyes had slowly moved from the man's hand to Jandi.

" She followed me here, so just giving her some private attention." He smiled in response. The man's eyes that glanced at Junpyo were sent back to the girl who hadn't said anything or reacted at all. The reaction he didn't get from her, he was getting from Junpyo, who had walked up to them and snatched her away from the wall.

" She is with us." The way Junpyo's right hand had grabbed her and pulled her behind him, the man could only smile as he took a step away.

" Is she?" the man leaning to the right to glance at Jandi hidden behind Junpyo asked. Junpyo's subconscious reaction to lean right to cover her away from the prying eyes, his angry eyes glaring right back at the man he was daring to stand up to, was what the man focused on. He had to smirk at how these young kids had grown up to stand up to him now.

" Maybe that's why I recognize her face. '' The wink he sent her way, Jandi was dealing with something else as her eyes were on her right wrist Junpyo's right hand was holding. With his tight grip around her wrist, her eyes were on his cold hand and the visible veins that were the proof of the anger fueling his body.

" I thought she was following me"

"She was heading to the bathroom" Junpyo pointed at the bathroom at the end of the hallway.

" I see"

" Then I apologize" The weird smile still on his face the man gave her a small bow.

" I will leave you two" he smiled at Junpyo as he walked past him.

" I will see you around" he had directed that at Jandi as he walked past her. The three steps he took, he had turned left leaving the two alone. Junpyo taking some deep breaths, needed to stay calm before his eyes were turned to her. He wasn't even given a second as his attention was shifted to her hand she was pulling to free from his grip.

"What was that about?" tightening his grip he asked. Her face she was keeping looking down, he knew she was choosing not to look at him.

" Let go" both her hands fighting his right hand, she was only concerned about freeing herself. From one captivity to another, her anxiety was triggered again as Junpyo pulled her arm and landed her right against him. Her hand pulled to his chest, her eyes that were fighting not to look up at him weren't happy to be forced to glance at his chest his unbuttoned shirt had left bare. The lipstick marks now in clear view, she hated how she was forced to be aware of them. Her hand she was busily trying to free, she had thought her night couldn't get any worse but the universe had other plans.

" Why were you following Woobin's hyung?" Junpyo's angry eyes weren't ready for the way her fighting had paused. With the slow movement of her head, her eyes that finally looked up, Junpyo wasn't ready for what he would see on her face.

" wh

" who?" she asked. Her hands which had stopped fighting him, it took one look into her eyes for Junpyo's anger to completely disappear. He was completely lost by what was going on.

" Why were you following him?" he asked again while he busied his eyes to decipher the mix of confusion, shock, fear, and anger in her eyes. Unfortunately, he didn't have that much time as she lowered her eyes down. Her hand she pulled away, she was quick as she took a step away from him. He had chosen to set her free. It wasn't much of a choice after seeing the look on her face. His instinct was to end whatever was making her uncomfortable. Her not answer his question he was used to, and he was prepared to have her just walk away. In fact, he wasn't ready for the reaction he got to the question he brought.

" Did he do something to you ?" Junpyo's question wasn't answered verbally. Her eyes that have become his muse which he had studied carefully, her eyes that turned back to him were the ones to give him a hint of the ocean of secrets she swims in she would never tell him. The second he decoded the look in her eyes, it was a subconscious decision he made as his right hand returned to her and held her back from the step she was going to take.

" Did he?" Junpyo asked. The emotions her precious eyes pull out of him, the anger in his dark eyes was as clear as it could get. It wasn't just his eyes, the energy emanating from his towering body was filled with rage as he demanded an answer. Her disoriented mind didn't need any other cause but was given one as Jandi's body was now disturbed with a new type of emotion as she took in the alarming anger she could feel around him. Although she didn't do anything to be scared of him, she was terrified of the cold hand holding her from fleeing the place her mind had commanded her to run away from.

The answer he was waiting for, Junpyo would get something worse as his attention was turned to the man he saw walking the way they were in.

" Do you by any chance have a sister?" Woobin's hyung that walked back, had asked. Junpyo's eyes on the man were switched to the back of her head. He had missed the look on her face at what she was asked, but he didn't need her face. Her shaking hand in his grip was enough to give him a hint. The girl he didn't know well, he concluded that these two might know each other.

" No," Junpyo was the one who answered the question. Her file he has read. He remembers the no siblings on her form.

" I see " The man smiling at them walked back to the curb he had come from.

Her body that wasn't moving, Junpyo's confused mind needed a second as well. How on earth would she know Woobin's hyung? She wasn't a student at their school when Woobin's hyong was a student there. Did she ever work for one of his events? Did she serve him?

"How do you two?" Junpyo didn't get to finish his question as her face turned his way. The spine-chilling look in her eyes, the person standing next to him was a completely different person than the one he was used to. Her hand swiftly snatched out of his grip, she was quick as she started running to the women's bathroom ahead. The weird steps she was taking, Junpyo watched until she walked into the bathroom.

What the fuck is going on?" both his hands sent to his hair, Junpyo sighed as he rested his back against the wall. His intoxicated mind that was starting to hurt needed all the minutes it was given to process what happened.

Ten minutes later, when Jandi walked out of the bathroom, the man standing against the wall waiting for her looked different than the one she recalled from minutes ago. For one, his shirt was buttoned all the way up. His hair tied away, his face he had washed was in clear view. Miraculously he also looked fully sober.

" Are you okay?" his calm voice, along with his question, both were ignored as Jandi kept her eyes on the floor she started walking on.

" Why are you here?" he asked another question he knew he would never get an answer to. The girl walking before him hadn't even turned back to acknowledge she was aware of his existence as she continued her steps. Jandi had more serious things to worry about than the spoiled brat.

" Don't get involved with Woobin's brother." his raspy voice had gotten a reaction this time. Her legs that stopped their walk, her face and scary eyes were turned back.

" Please." If she had any place left in her head that had started hurting, she would have questioned how this boy could turn from looking angry to this in minutes. The softness in his voice and the worry in his eyes, it would have been fascinating to question why he was acting like this. But Jandi had her own rage and fear to sort out and handle.

" Leave me alone," her warning voice, Junpyo had completely dismissed as he stepped closer to her. How daring he was, she was getting a taste as he was going against her demands not even a second after she made them. But her anger at his action was left aside as she was confused about what to do with his response.

" I am trying," the honesty he was known for; his eyes were on another level as they let her witness everything he was processing as he stood inches away from her. His walls he couldn't even decide if he wanted to lower or not; it was painful to realize it was an unconscious choice he had no control over. His vulnerability he was willing to have her tramble on, he knew her angry eyes were only going to attack him back. Her merciless words that would cause him more damage, he knew better than to do this to himself.

" I am doing everything I can " The way his voice had lowered, his sincerity wasn't welcomed as she didn't even let him finish.

" but it's impossible since you're now dating Jihoo. "

"That's not my problem, and you can jump off a bridge if you don't like it" her response. The smile that escaped his lips she had mistaken it as part of his arrogance but it was used to mask the pinch he felt at how she didn't even try to dismiss her dating JiHoo. He had said it to test her and she hadn't even hesitated. What he had seen in the morning should have been the main reason to conclude the odd fascination he had with her but he had chosen to do this and agitate himself. Her telling him to jump off a bridge was ignored as he had no capacity to deal with that now. The dark voices in his head that tell him the same thing, the last thing he needs to focus on is one more voice telling him to get rid of himself.

" You don't have to be mean" his awkward smile and his nervous right hand sent to play with his hair were adding more fule to the button the word he had chosen pressed. The girl that closed the small gap between them, his body had reacted as he moved back all the way until his back landed against the wall. Her body brought closer, Junpyo was now scared of the look in her eyes before she even said anything.

" This is your last warning" her petrifying voice, her finger pointing right at him had landed on his chest. The thin fabric of the dress shirt he had on wasn't enough of a barrier to keep the burning sensation from her finger that had touched him right where his cold skin and ribs hid his beating heart.

" Leave me alone, or I will ruin your spoiled life" was her last warning. Her anger he fights with his vulnerability, Junpyo wasn't yet aware how that was his best tool against her.

" My life is already fucked up" his weird smile that was still present was bigger.

" am medicated so I can't feel things and you think you can ruin me" The smile of his he used as a mask, which she had always hated, it was worse seeing it this close. If she had any self-awareness, she would realize it wasn't the smile but what it did to her that she hated.

" If you are expecting me to feel sorry for "

" I don't want you to feel sorry for me."

" What the fuck do you want?" her voice that was raised, Jandi had dismissed the red flag she was given from her body that was crossing a line. The lack of answer, his silence was adding more to her anger that had clouded her judgment as her body was brought to stand inches from him. Her eyes now filled with pure anger, Junpyo was left to his own thoughts as he wondered why all he could think about at this moment was holding her. While her enraged body was screaming at him, all he was thinking about was what she would do if he wrapped his arms around her. Whatever had been pulling him towards the fascinating girl, who he couldn't figure out no matter how much he tried, it was now convincing him that all the anger emanating from her tiny body was a facade. His intuition, there was a greater force added to that as it was daring him to embrace her shaking body. As calming her down became the priority, subconsciously he was sure he could comfort her if he was ever allowed to hold her in his embrace even for seconds. Unfortunately, his hands didn't have the confidence to even touch her, let alone hold her. His heart her finger was sending arrows to, he was terrified of what would happen to him if he ever held her. What even a single touch of her does to his body, he wasn't fully aware of what having her wrapped in his arms would cause him but he was scared of it already. His weakness, he didn't have it in him to even raise his voice back at her, let alone fight back.

" I just want to know you" the calm and softness of his voice, he was the only one hurt by his own words. Even his anger at why he couldn't seem to let her go couldn't be directed at her as it was his own fault. People's attention or friendship he had never ever had to ask for, let alone beg, here he was fighting for somebody to give him time. All the ways he intentionally pushed people away, here he was asking a total stranger to not push him away.

"Then what?" her arms crossed, she asked. The person who joined the hallway they were in had stared at the two people staring at each other in silence. The scary tension between the two, even the man had decided to turn away and use the other bathroom.

" I don't know," Junpyo respons, his words weren't able, but his eyes had done the job as they removed another wall of his. The chaos she had brought to his life, his eyes weren't hiding any of it as they used their honesty to simmer down her anger. Her overpowering eyes staring deep into his soul were demanding an explanation he didn't have.

" I just ." the sentence he couldn't finish, this exact moment was when his anxiety took over. His heart he intentionally keeps hidden away, the instance he could physically feel it opening up, that was when all the internal disarray started.

" I don't" his nervous right hand sent to his head, his hair was brushed to his face he wanted to hide away. He was scared and was retreating back to his safe place. His eyes that moved away from her, he couldn't even hold her gaze for a second after that.

" I don't have time to play games with you" Although she didn't want to recognize how she could tell he was uncomfortable about something, she had chosen not to waste even a second wondering why. Her anger she was willing to put away, it was like he knew exactly what to say to bring it back up.

" But you have it for Jihoo"

"Stop bringing his name up and comparing yourself to him "

"why? Because you like him or hate me," his right hand still brushing his hair to his face which was almost all covered up, she could only get a glance at the eyes he had hidden away. His intoxicated mind, it will be once he gets sober when he will recognize what he has done.

" Yes, because I like him. Do you have your answer now?" she was quick to recall what she had learned from Seohyun about the line Junpyo can't cross when it comes to Jihoo.

"And because I hate your guts." She gave him reason number two.

" the way you talk, the way you dress, the arrogant way you walk around campus, the cigarette you smoke, your weird face, and this fuckin hair you swing back and forth" her eyes accompanying her words were sent to his hair. Her right hand was bold as it was sent up and reached his hair, which she was touching for the first time. The soft and luscious hair, her slender fingers brushed it away from the right side of his face. His affection-deprived soul, his eyes she uncovered, weren't hiding what her fingers touching his hair had done. What was happening to him? Junpyo would need a number of therapy sessions to realize why his body melts to even the most insignificant touch of hers.

" I hate your voice, your smell, the weird way you stare at me, the way you even breathe around me is disgusting." Her hand lowered from his hair, she should have been worried about the boy who didn't look like he was even breathing but she didn't care.

" Your bully friends, all the F4 nonsense, all the girls you mess around with, all the money you swim in that could feed nations, the fact that I have to wear a uniform with your fuckin name on it. I hate it all."

" I don't even care if you tell him anymore. Go do it."

" Give everything to the police too if you want, Just leave me alone." those were her parting words as she turned around and started walking. Not even turning back, her quick steps were a response to her body that was given one last warning to get away from this boy.
