::THIS CHAPTER IS RATED MATURE AND CONTAINS SEXUALLY EXPLICIT CONTENT:: IT'S ALSO AN ENORMOUS MONSTROSITY::

In the present time of this chapter, they are (1)19 and (1)21 years old. My head canon is Link has an English voice like Zelda. Think Tristan Thorn from the movie stardust. Link grew up in a family of royal knights, it makes sense to me.

And hey, listen, I had every intention to flesh out every detail surrounding the ten months that pass in this chapter, but I simply cannot make myself care enough about anything other than Link and Zelda. I gloss over the time jumps, but I promise I fleshed out the parts that matter.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Link's dreams had never been peaceful, but the last ten months they'd eased up on him considerably. Nightmares were a chronic issue of his to begin with, before the calamity and even as far back as childhood when his father was still alive. These premonitions to his impending destiny simply never left even after everything. The anxiety was never ending and his mind tormented him in ways that would wake him, drenched with sweat.

Zelda always tried to prevent it from reaching that point. He'd thrash in his sleep and furrow his brows, and it always stabbed at her heart. Each and every time she would turn to him in their shared bed, and gently touch his face to wake him. Just as she was about to at this present time as well.

"Link, my love."

His eyes snapped open. She was brushing her thumb over his cheek soothingly, and looking at him with adoration and worry. He sighed deeply and squeezed his eyes shut again.

"Thank you."

The affection she showed him was becoming easier for her with each passing day. He never dared to take anything further with her other than chaste kisses, and she was always grateful for his continued respect. His behavior made it clear that she was in control of the direction things went between them. The thought of added physicality to their relationship had initially been more than her fluttering heart could handle. She had never experienced the draw of perverted thoughts, but he brought many new feelings to the forefront of her mind. In the beginning of the relationship, she was too flustered to even allude to anything around their friends, but Purah wasn't stupid.

She'd been giving them knowing looks, as she began developing her new slate she was dubbing the Purah Pad. It was confirmed the very first time she saw them leaving his house early in the morning. Zelda ran back inside, but Link just waved over at her casually. By that point they'd been sharing the bed for a couple of months, but Purah rarely left her lab and hadn't witnessed anything until then.

'About damn time' she thought to herself before rolling her eyes at him and smiling to herself as she walked off.

The bliss Link felt being around Zelda alleviated nearly all his anxieties and tension. Every night he held her, every so often she would kiss him so lovingly he would forget to breathe. Purah could assume whatever she wanted, he simply didn't care.

Zelda had been more than eager to help with Purah's new projects. Ancient technology was something she rarely was given permission to study in her previous life.

For months Zelda, Purah, Symin, Robbie, and his wife began the painstaking process of deciding tower locations, developing blueprints, and recreating the technology for the teleportation pads all across Hyrule, as Link accompanied.

The development was something that was likely to take them years to complete, but they knew they had the resources and the time for it. Purah was always the one that decided when to return to Hateno, and it was usually for long stretches before they disembarked once again.

When they were home, Zelda and Link would spend their entire evenings together, but would give each other space during the day to venture into town or rest. Less stress and more relaxed dreams meant Link could comfortably nap during the day when she went out.

Zelda loved going around the village and befriending everyone she met. The children of the town were drawn to her, and the realization that there were no longer any formal schools in Hyrule inspired her to recruit Symin's help in designing one for Hateno during their long stretches back home. The Hudson Construction company was quickly hired thereafter.

She made numerous friends across the land who she made an effort to see whenever these places were revisited. They'd work until dusk, and then find their way to the nearest town for rest.

None of their close friends made any mention of the obvious difference in the two's dynamic, or even the fact that they shared a room at every Inn they went to, it was like a spell no one wanted to break. Link and Zelda had been through too much and their peace was private and sacred.

Zelda's sword training continued as it had, though each time Link stepped it up more. One day to her surprise, he went as far as to aggravate a red bokoblin with a rock to the face before running behind it. It followed his direction, and he held up his shield. She went in for the sneak strike and swiftly took it down. The panic on her face hadn't fully subsided before he was pulling her in for a tight squeeze and saying, "Good job, beautiful."

He smiled so much more than he did a century ago too. It brought her ceaseless joy to see it. It felt to her at times like he was a different person ever since he'd lost most of his memories. It wasn't negative, just something unexpected. He was more carefree, and even child-like at times. From the way he teased her to the way he lit up when she got flustered about anything. It was so endearing, it made her want to tease back.

The night following the attempted attack on them by the Yiga Clan, Link introduced Zelda to bright bloom seeds. Him finding them in the cave was unintentional, and he knew Zelda would likely be interested in studying them. He was right, and she definitely was.

She hadn't taken time yet to explore any new caves for herself. He'd warned her of the hidden dangers and unexpected projectiles from monsters dwelling within. He was less confident about being able to protect her in caves, so he simply gathered bright bloom seeds for her himself.

The versatility of the seeds was exciting for Zelda. Her frequent use of them was going to ultimately lead him to something unexpected in the coming days, though he just didn't know it yet.

"What was your dream," Zelda whispered to him.

The two of them were face to face in the near darkness back in the present time, with only the moonlight coming through the window to see.

"Just remember pieces…the floor was grabbing me," He hesitated, "...Always too far away to reach."

"What is?" She murmured.

"You." His eyes were grief stricken and unfocused as he spoke.

She brushed hair away from his face and eyes and smiled kindly. The comfort he needed and deserved was all she wanted to provide.

"I'll never leave your side," She reassured.

She kissed his mouth needfully, an intensity which he willingly matched. His grip over her shoulder tightened, and his eyes squeezed shut. Her heart hammered heavily in her chest.

Something about the moment made Zelda feel courageous, more so than ever before. She broke the kiss, and skimmed her lips across his mouth to kiss the corner. The air caught in his throat. Her palm traced his skin, and made its way along his neck to its new resting spot. She left another one lower on his cheek, then a few more down his jaw. Hesitantly, her kisses began trailing lower down his neck.

She was pushing her boundaries further than ever, but she truly didn't know how to proceed beyond this. Being taught something and taking the time to study it were two different things, and her devotion to her prayers and the people of her kingdom had always held her entire focus all her life.

Beyond the purpose and the body parts involved, and what happens to said body parts at the climax, Zelda knew almost nothing about sex. She knew it was supposed to be fun, she knew it was sacred between those who loved one another. It was a terrifying concept nonetheless. She realized she still wasn't ready, but she knew she wanted something more than what they'd already been doing.

His reaction to it all was mesmeric. It was turning her on. His breathing had returned and transitioned to shaky inhales. He shuddered at her touch, then abruptly pulled back. His expression was dazed. "Zelda…" He breathed.

His mouth desperately found hers again. He had always, politely kept his mouth shut every time they'd kissed before, but in this moment his lips were parting hers as his tongue tentatively slipped its way in. His arm had snaked its way around her back and his fingers tangled in her hair.

She was feeling faint. His head was tilting to get better access, and the feeling of their tongues touching and playing was scrambling her thoughts. They were both breathing erratically now.

He was behaving like he was love-starved. It brought to her the anguishing realization that he'd undoubtedly been repressing these desires for a long time, to remain as respectful as he could.

He pulled the lower halves of their bodies tightly against each other, and something of his was pressing hard against her thigh. The guilt was consuming her.

She truly wanted to. She needed him to know how much she loved him, but she didn't know how to do this.

She broke away when his hand began to slide down her back. Her eyes were wide and his dazed expression snapped into refocus.

"I…" was all she could manage.

"I got carried away. Please forgive me," he said with heavy breath and downcast eyes

She tilted his head up and kissed him gently before smiling tiredly. "There's nothing to apologize for."

He shook his head and turned his back to her, pushing his fist down against his crotch hard. They were both embarrassed now but she turned as well to spoon his backside. It took a bit of time for him to calm down but by then she'd nearly fallen asleep nestled against him. They stayed that way and eventually drifted off.

. . . . . . . . . .

Zelda was gone when Link awoke. Though it would have upset him under normal circumstances, this time it came as a relief. The erection had returned and he had to address it.

. . . . . . . . . . .

"Purah… "Zelda began timidly.

The scholar looked up from her notes and saw the princess hugging herself with rose tinted cheeks.

Zelda was always mathematically and scientifically adept and quick to learn. Her assistance with Purah's aging-rune allowed the preteen to adjust her age to something more suitable; almost into her thirties was supposedly her favorite time in life.

"What's up," Purah replied. Zelda stammered then got quiet. The scholar raised an eyebrow, then asked, "Is…it something to do with Link?" Zelda squeezed her eyes shut and nodded.

"May I browse…some of your books?" Zelda asked.

"Well yeah of course you can…My selection is pretty limited if you're looking for something specific. What kind of book are you trying to find?"

"I would rather not say."

Purah was already picking up on what was likely happening. She chuckled and said, "I'll uh, be right back."

Zelda sighed with relief when Purah left, and flitted over to the medical books on the bottom two rows. She wasn't even entirely sure what she was looking for, there was a vague idea though. Most of the spines were unmarked, so she began to pull them from the shelf. She was at seven when Purah returned with something in her hand.

"I found it. Is this right?...Well if it is, you don't need to return it. I've all but memorized it."

Zelda realized with burning humiliation that Purah knew exactly what was up, the book she held up was definitely the sort of thing she'd been looking for. If anything, it was much more than she'd been hoping to find. She covered her eyes sheepishly and took it from her friend's outstretched hand.

"Thank you," Zelda squeaked, and basically sprinted out the door.

Purah gave it ten seconds before busting into a fit of laughter. She doubted the princess could hear by this point, but she still called out, "Enjoy yourself!"

. . . . . . . . .

Zelda peeked inside the cottage window and Link was on his face and asleep in the middle of their bed.

It was time to return to her secret hiding spot then.

Zelda concealed the ladder inside the well the best that she could so Link would never find it. When she'd first discovered it months ago, Link was asleep in bed. It looked to her like it went deep, and her curiosity led to its exploration with the help of some rope tied around a nearby tree.

It took her a long time to build it into the sanctuary it was, and to her knowledge, Link hadn't uncovered it.

The bright blooms glowed as she descended the ladder, and to her desk she quickly went. She shut the diary that lay open and slid it to the side. The other book was tucked under her straps, and tentatively she removed it to open the first page. Even her ears were burning now.

It was a heart palpating few hours for her.

. . . . . . . . . .

"I cannot believe you slept the entire day away," Zelda said against his ear. She sat on the edge of the bed.

He rolled over groggily and slowly blinked at her. A sleepy smile spread across his face and he said hoarsely, "Hey beautiful."

He pulled her into his arms and kissed her cheek before saying, "I need to leave a moment." The bathroom was really what he needed but saying it that way seemed crude around a princess.

She lay against his warm place in the bed and simply said, "Okay." He wasn't sure if it was his imagination or not but her voice sounded a bit off.

. . . . . . . . . .

The sun still wasn't quite yet on the horizon, so it came as a surprise to him to find Zelda asleep.

He was starving and didn't want to wake her, so he ventured into town to buy ingredients, and use one of the communal cooking pots. His mind was lingering on the events of the previous night, and his guilt straightened out the thoughts each time. He loved her, and couldn't forgive himself if things ever went in a direction that she wasn't ready for or didn't want.

He was holding his 4th bowl, and as the stew cooled in his hand, his thoughts were of everything that made him adore her.

She was inherently good and loving. She wasn't someone to ever ask for things in return. She treated everyone with kindness and respect. She was always sincere, and eternally, and unendingly giving. He wanted to show his appreciation for the gift that was to him.

The sun was almost fully set as an idea came to him. He could vaguely remember a dock at Hateno Beach, and he wondered if he had ever actually explored beyond it. He quietly grabbed one of his better swords from the cottage as Zelda lay there peacefully asleep, and made his way in that direction.

It was nice luck for him, finding a raft close to the ocean. The dock was there as he remembered, so he brought it out to the water.

He rowed around the left bend, Hateno beach disappearing behind as he went. He was curious if there was a spot far enough away that he could set up a date spot. They'd not even been on a formal one he realized. He was hoping to find a place they could have something good to eat, somewhere private to swim and relax in peace. It sounded fun to him and he hoped she was going to feel the same.

What he discovered around the second bend was better than he could have hoped for upon first glance. Around the cliff was another beach with a rocky alcove and pond full of salt water.

There were three small waterfalls behind a boulder that sat in the center of the pond, and already Link was getting several creative ideas. He pulled the raft up to the grass along the edge of the crescent shaped cliff, and undressed to his undergarments before wading through the shallows towards the enormous rock. The sword was left behind as well.

His initial idea was to set up a tent on the huge rock so in the morning they could jump straight into the deeper water. He was having doubts about it upon approach, it was sounding childish the more he thought about it and he slowed down. The earth beneath his feet began to shake, and the giant boulder began to rise.

Several profanities slipped out as he dashed back over to his weapon. The stone Talus was already walking his way when he reached it, and chucking a huge rock in his direction. Link dove behind the cliff edge just before the collision and rock debris scattered all around him.

He waited until it was close, then dashed out and around it in search of its weak spot. The lack of armor definitely made things challenging, but he'd taken out dozens of these before, and he handled it nearly unscathed. Being thrown was especially annoying, but the water saved him each time. The Talus eventually fell, and crumbled beneath him to dust, leaving behind a diamond and two rubies. The perfect find for what he was already trying to do, he realized excitedly.

It was late into the night when he finally returned to lay beside his love.

. . . . . . . . . .

A few days had passed, and the two were on an evening walk towards the forest beneath the cliff where the lab sat. "Look!" The cave opening caught Zelda's attention first.

Her eyes were asking him for permission, and he sighed in exasperation. "Okay, let me go in first." At least he had a bow equipped.

Nothing was on the ceiling or walls. He walked around the two corners to the ends and only saw mushrooms and bright bloom seeds, so he beckoned Zelda inside.

She was walking past him in a second, and decided to go left first just to see. The first glance showed only small glowing plants along the edge, but a noise above her head startled her enough to cry out.

A luminescent blue creature resembling a frog, something she'd never seen or heard of before, croaked and shot giant bubbles in her direction from its place above. Link sprinted around the corner with the bow in hand, and skidded in front of Zelda. He drew his arrow, and pierced an eye with one shot.

Zelda dodged the remaining bubbles and saw as a small blupee came from the defeated creature. It, along with the dead bubbulfrog disappeared from sight. A small glittering gem was all that remained.

"I'm certain that wasn't there when I came in here a minute ago. Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," Zelda laughed. She ran over to the gem and carefully lifted it from the ground to examine. "Look at how beautiful this is, Link, it reminds me of a snowflake. What in the world was that creature?"

"That was the first time I've ever seen one, I don't have a clue."

"I'd like to take a closer look at this later," Zelda said as she pocketed it.

The both of them gathered a few other things, and made their way towards the opposite side. The closer they got to the end of the path, the more uneasy Zelda began to feel. They were standing in the center of the small room, and Zelda couldn't see anything out of the ordinary, but the feeling wouldn't subside.

He was watching the change from her as it was happening. She was hugging her arms tight, and standing silently with her eyes trained at the ground. It was bizarre, and it was distressing him.

He moved closer to touch her arm. She was expressionless when their eyes met.

"Would it be okay if we returned home? Something doesn't feel right about this place."

He didn't need to be told twice. She was tugged by her hand all the way through the exit and to the edge of the trees beside Lake Sumac. The dread was lifting the further they went and she was filled with relief. They made it beyond the farm, when Link finally looked back and said, "How are you feeling?"

"Thank you, I'm feeling a bit better now. It's so strange how quickly that came over me. I can't even describe it…It felt as though something was…well, no. I don't even know."

"As though something was…?" He pressed.

"... tugging at me. I don't think that's quite right."

"We're not returning to that cave again," He said with a brisk head shake.

The distance home was trekked in silence. She'd ruined his mood, it was clear on his face. She had initially planned to use this night to ask him something relatively difficult, but she was deciding instead on doing something else entirely.

The front door shut with a click, and Zelda reached out to touch his face. He was in his head and his eyes were distant. Her smile was warm and her kisses were gentle, but when her eyes slid shut, something unbelievable and unexpected was requested from lips.

"Kiss me the way you did that night in bed…"

Their faces were already close. Her palm had fallen back to her side and they were just beyond the doorway. She had his full attention, and full control over the palpitations of his heart. She still couldn't look at his face, but she could hear him exhale, "Sweetheart…"

His thumb traced the contour of her cheekbone and jaw, and she gained the courage to look again. His expression wasn't like it was. She couldn't read it.

She leaned in to him and he met her the rest of the way with the same urgency he exhibited the other night. She pulled him back until she was pressing against the door and their mouths were already parting and exploring shyly. It felt like hours to her, though it was likely several minutes. She couldn't repress a small sound from escaping when he started changing the direction of it.

His tongue was going in deeper. He was encouraging her mouth to open wider, and he supported her up with his arm when her knees began to buckle. Their bodies were pressed together now. It was pressing a bit into her again, directly against the pulsing throb she felt herself.

She wondered vaguely if this was the buildup she had read women experienced when stimulating themselves into orgasm. They weren't doing anything besides making out, but she was running hot from the feel of him pressing against her there.

He was aware she could feel his growing erection but it was beyond his control. He wanted to let his hands wander, but his mind was set on keeping this strictly at her request. He could kiss her this way contentedly for as long as she allowed.

He pulled away and nipped her bottom lip, eliciting a tiny surprised gasp from her. He kissed beneath her jaw, then trailed them down her neck.

"Ah!"

He bit her softly the first few times but the one across her shoulder pinched hard. The carnal urge overcame him but he didn't want to mark her up. He transitioned back to her mouth again.

Lightheaded beyond the point of coherence was the stopping point Zelda had reached. She lightly pressed against his chest and he stepped away from her unwillingly. "You're making it hard to focus these days," he told her.

"You're no easier on me," she replied.

They hugged around and behind each other's shoulders, and her head fell against his chest. The slightest distance between them beneath, allowed him the chance to settle down.

It went wordless, but after some time, the routine of their night began.

. . . . . . . . . .

She simply couldn't wait any further after breakfast, the time for their departure was nearing and Link was still unaware.

"I have a private matter in Kakariko I wish to attend along with Purah… as well as a quick visit to a new site she's in the process of establishing. Something she says is big. I would be gone for two weeks…is this something you would be alright with me handling alone?"

"You're hardly giving me any heads up. Is everything okay? Are you okay?"

Zelda smiled sweetly and said, "Everything is perfectly fine, my love. Kakariko is close, and there will be many people accompanying us to the second location."

"I can't stop you from doing anything you wish to do, but you're worrying me a bit," he began, "Honestly, you can't get upset if I show up after you're gone to make sure you're okay…"

"I won't be upset, but I'd still rather you didn't."

"You're wounding me," Link said, a grin spreading across his face.

The conversation was easier than she'd expected. She simply couldn't bring herself to explain the decision to see a physician with further medical understanding of certain things than Purah, who of course was in the know.

After everything she needed had finally been packed, with a newly forged sword included at Link's request, Zelda was in the doorway, kissing him tenderly before saying, "I promise to be safe. You have my heart, I love you."

"I love you too."

She disappeared behind the houses on her way towards Purah's lab, and Link's lingering thoughts were, 'I have work to do.'

. . . . . . . . . .

Zelda was only a day away from returning home. The anticipation was killing him.

Up the path leading away from Hateno Beach was the direction Link followed when he saw the storm clouds rolling in. He wondered with annoyance if all the work he'd just put in was going to be ruined. As long as the tent stayed dry, the rest didn't matter, he decided.

The storm was heavy when his feet finally crossed the bridge leading home. Steam was rising off the grass and making the air thick, and he wandered in the direction the corral was to check on his horse. He came stumbling into the edge of the well near the house.

He was about to walk away when a faint white glow coming from inside it stopped him dead. He peered over, and saw the ladder Zelda had tried so hard to hide. He didn't even bother with it, instead opting to jump straight in where Zelda's secret spot lay waiting.

He was really quite amazed at the room she'd put together. It was likely she'd recruited the help of a builder, and done this the days he was asleep. It was impressive, really.

He approached the desk curiously.

Two books were lying open. One seemed to contain what he assumed to be Zelda's notes. He took a closer inspection at what lay before him, and felt his face and ears burning hot.

A drawing, a sexual depiction to be specific, was on clear display along with some text on one. He glanced at the other book covered in Zelda's handwriting.

Everything, from Purah's supposed advice, to things she wanted to experience, were detailed. He had to pull the chair over to prevent himself from falling.

He really couldn't help himself. The page she was on was bookmarked, before he tore through it.

. . . . . . . . . .

Just as promised, Zelda had been gone for exactly 2 weeks assisting Purah's Lookout Landing project, and she yearned to see Link.

As her horse rounded the familiar ascension towards Hateno, more than just relief flooded in. Butterflies and giddy anticipation swelled within her. She assumed at this time of the evening he would be asleep, it was nearing midnight after all. Any minute and she'd be quietly climbing under the covers beside him. The thought of that seemed unimaginably wonderful to her.

The moon was full tonight and she could clearly see the front gate coming into view. Zelda's horse slowed to a trot as she made her way through it and towards the bridge leading home.

She saw a lantern lit and resting beside the front door. His way of welcoming her home, she realized affectionately.

Zelda led Una to stand beside Link's horse in the corral by the pond, and stiffly climbed her way down.

"Goodnight sweet girl," She whispered, patting the animal softly before making her way to the front door. "Goodnight to you too, Pig," Zelda called over her shoulder, rolling her eyes internally at the silly name.

Quietly she stepped inside, and was greeted unexpectedly with Link's bright blue eyes, and his one leg crossed over, in the middle of drinking what she assumed to be coffee.

"Expecting me, were you?" Zelda's blushing cheeks made it more than clear she was only being coy, and failing miserably at it. Link's answering grin was huge and unashamed, and without a word he left his place at the table to pull her into a tight hug.

"Welcome home…I have a surprise for you. I understand if you're exhausted. I knew to expect you, but I didn't think it would be this late. I missed you by the way."

She'd missed his voice. She sighed and lifted her head to kiss him softly, both closing their eyes momentarily.

"I'm embarrassed to admit I had trouble sleeping. I'm so accustomed to your warmth. I'm sure a cup of that coffee could help wake me. What's this surprise?" She asked.

"I'll show you. You may be more comfortable in sleep wear over that travel gear, however."

"You're being especially vague."

I know, and I apologize." He said without a hint of remorse.

His project had become so ambitious, that if she had been too tired this evening he'd have been more than a little disappointed. Link gently broke the embrace and went to fill her a mug.

Zelda walked off and began to remove her extra gear. She headed up the stairs, undoing buckles and straps as Link politely looked away. He cleared away old dishes from the table and waited with her coffee down below.

Returning in fresh clothes to his side now at the foot of the stairs, Zelda took the drink from him.

"Let's bring it along," he murmured, taking her free hand casually before leading them out the front door. He gave their home a backwards glance, fingers now beginning to entwine with hers as they crossed the bridge leading back into Hateno.

She took note of the fact that he'd equipped his sword and bow while she was upstairs. They were going outside of town then.

Sayge was waving as they passed. He was used to them walking together past his shop, though not usually this late. The man never seemed to sleep.

She'd finished her mug by the time they made it to the communal pots, so he sat it on the edge and continued on with her.

"Let me start by saying that you don't get nearly the recognition you deserve for all that you do," Link told her.

"I just try to help, I don't want that kind of attention drawn," She stated.

"I know. You're immeasurably selfless, and entirely devoted to your purpose. You've experienced so much personal loss, and had every right to take your rest upon return, but instead, you immediately got to work."

"Everything you just said could be said about you," She interjected.

His smile was vague before he continued, "The tragedies of your life don't dissuade you from making an impact wherever you go. You spent entirely too many years alone…and I blame myself for that."

"Please don't," She whispered.

"I know you realize the potential that opening the first school in over a hundred years brings. Future scholars could help restore all that we've lost, and even advance society beyond what it was. No matter where we go, everything you do is mindful of the betterment of this kingdom. I don't express in nearly enough ways how much you mean to me. Maybe this will sound silly, but I'm taking you on a date."

They were nearly at the fork between the lab and beach as his speech concluded. Her grip on his tightened and the expression she held when he peeked was in between embarrassment and delight. She was blushing and averting her gaze, but her tiny words still followed. "That sounds lovely."

It was evident to her that some time was taken to prepare this, when she saw the glow of the giant bright blooms arranged beside the dock below. She could see there was a small boat tied off with another bloom strung around the bow.

"I probably should have grabbed additional clothing…" Zelda trailed off.

"Don't worry about it, I thought of everything. I had two weeks to bring half of the house over here," he said.

"I was wondering why I couldn't locate my hairbrush," She giggled.

The descent made it easy getting there quickly. He held her hand until she was safely sitting inside the boat, and he kicked them off in the direction of the other beach.

It was earlier that day when Link realized there was still one final thing he hadn't done yet. He traveled over as the sun was setting on the horizon, and took aim with his bow at twelve different spots all across the cliffs and beach. It didn't take long for the final touch he needed to be completed; the ambience of the glowing seeds.

It was bright enough that Zelda could see it from where she sat, despite them coming around from the back. She was gripping the edge of the raft anxiously, and he watched her reaction as the cove finally came into view.

"Oh my goodness, Link… what a beautiful place you've found," Zelda said in awe.

She took in everything coming into full view with unbridled enthusiasm. The tent he'd set up was large, and it had a canopy that extended beyond its entrance. It was one of the first things she took note of as it was atop the grassy bank right beside the beach. There was a nearby cooking pot with some flint beside it, and a long mat between the rock and grass, presumably so sand wouldn't track into the tent.

"Zelda, wait a moment," Link tried to say, but she was already rolling her pant legs up and hopping into the shallow water. She assisted him in pulling the boat the rest of the way to shore.

The full moon and blooms made the water beautifully shimmer. It was clear as glass and she could see all the fish.

"I knew porgy wasn't your favorite, and that was all that seemed to be here. I brought over a couple of salmon from elsewhere so we can have everything fresh. I'm sure you're probably fine with fruit cake for dessert." He gestured at the rock wall and the ladder caught her eye. "We can jump in the deep end from above. I've been swimming in this pond for over a week and it's almost the warmth of bath water…" He stopped when she looked close to crying.

"Zelda..." His expression slightly fell. "Am I overwhelming you?"

She shook her head. "No, I'm just happy. Thank you for all of this."

He gave her a reassuring smile. "I tried to grab everything you might want or need. You're welcome to do whatever you'd like while I cook." He grabbed the bow behind his back with the intent to track down their dinner, and she nodded.

They kissed briefly before Zelda went off to observe the beautiful surroundings. He wondered if she'd be too embarrassed to swim in her undergarments. They'd never gone swimming together before this, and he didn't know of anything else he could have brought for her. He was distantly in his head, mulling over insignificant details when she returned.

"I can't believe how much work was put into this. You even brought along my favorite fruits for the cake. It's too much. You didn't have to go so far beyond," She told him.

"Take the praise where it's deserved, sweetheart. Enjoy your night."

She could only shake her head vaguely, not knowing what to say.

The conversation while they ate, mostly consisted of the events surrounding the Lookout Landing project while she was away. She couldn't bring herself to detail what went on at Kakariko, and to her relief, he didn't ask.

A stopping point was eventually reached, and it went wordless that they both needed a moment of privacy. She rifled through clothes, looking for anything more modest than the set of undergarments she was already wearing.

'It's only Link.' She had to tell herself as she came back out partially stripped. It was relieving for her to see he still hadn't returned from behind the other side of the cliff, so she made her way towards the water and through the shallows until it was at her shoulders.

Something gently squeezed the back of her heel beneath the water, and she cried out.

Link braced himself in case she kicked, then swam up and nipped her on the back of her neck before laughing.

"I didn't even hear you get in," She gasped.

"I'm a master of stealth," he joked. He swam around in front of her and his wet hair was falling over his eyes. She brushed it to the side.

"You're much different than I remember you were all those years ago. You were always so serious. Seeing how much you smile now, hearing you really laugh…it overjoys me."

"You bring these emotions out of me. I know you remember the immense pressure we were under, having all eyes on us everywhere we went. It was my duty to set an example, the expectations people had of me were high, and I didn't want to let anyone down. I didn't want to let you down," he said.

"You were always anxious," she realized.

"But more than anything else, I was focused," he concluded.

"Your resolve always kept me grounded. You left no hint of your silent suffering, not even to me. The direction of your life has never been your choice. I'm sorry."

"I'm choosing the direction of my life now. No more apologies, please. Look where we are, our battle is over. All I want now is to spend my life with you."

"That is my wish as well. My heart and soul are yours, forever."

"I love you too," he chuckled. She was getting too serious now and he was set on keeping things light. "Now go show me your best dive. I can only assume a sheltered princess such as yourself was not given any time for childish recreational swimming."

It was the type of distraction her father would have scolded her for, undoubtedly. He knew that all too well.

A small glimmer of excitement lifted her expression. She swam her way towards the ladder.

The rocky overhang was covered in thick grass and it felt cool and damp under her bare feet. She peered over the spot she would jump, and he swam further back to give her space. She took a deep breath, then froze.

He called out to her. "It's deeper than it looks! You won't touch the bottom, I promise." She trusted him to know, so she found the courage and jumped.

The smile she greeted him with as she resurfaced almost immediately faded when he said, "That was okay, but it could be better. Give it another shot."

There was truthfully nothing wrong with her dive, he just wanted to see her do it again. She scoffed at him indignantly, and swam her way back to the ladder.

He felt bad about the fib. When she dove over the second time and came up to give him an expectant look, he gently pulled her by the arm over to him for a chaste kiss. "I'm sorry I lied, both attempts were perfect. You're the embodiment of grace."

She rolled her eyes and giggled.

They were wading closer to one of the waterfalls and Zelda swam her way beneath it, allowing water to cascade down her face and hair a moment. She turned her head, and with a look he'd never seen cross her before, she beckoned him over.

She had the power to short circuit his brain and reduce his thoughts to two word sentences with expressions like that. 'Yep. Yep, coming,' was all that he could manage as he expressionlessly complied.

She pulled him through the waterfall to the other side.

"Thank you," she whispered, and then kissed him fiercely.

Being entirely secluded in a place so beautiful, with the absolute freedom to let herself go with her most beloved… What Link had given her, truly, was the privilege to be selfish for once in her life. It was the best gift he could have given her. Every ounce of her gratitude was poured into this affection.

Unfortunately they couldn't hold that for way long. She didn't want to break it but swimming that way was tiring. His eyes were hazy when she pulled back, but he smiled at her and asked, "Would you like to give your legs a rest?"

She was about to use the same excuse on him. With a nod, they made their way out of the water.

Neither of them had bothered to change out of the undergarments, though Link at least put back on his shirt. The fire beneath the pot was finally dying down when Zelda felt almost dry, and at this point her anxiety was at an astronomical level despite the fact that they were sitting a bit apart.

They'd been looking at each other a certain way. She wanted to go to him and it was frustrating her to no end that her body wouldn't move. The light blush of her cheeks had turned a deep crimson, and he gave her an amused smile.

"Is there anything I can do for you my love," Link murmured.

Zelda squeezed her eyes shut and nodded her head. He slid closer beside her, and said even lower than before, "Whatever you want of me, just ask."

"There's so much I want. I want to be close to you. To kiss you…" She looked at him, and he put a palm to her cheek before leaning over to fulfill the request. She swallowed her fears, and whispered against his skin, "...to feel you."

He stood up swiftly and without warning, pulling her up to her feet by her hand.

"Wait here," he told her, before quickly jumping into the tent.

In half a second he was back and taking her hand, pulling her swiftly inside. No time was wasted in pulling her to the bedroll against the cushions he'd stacked, into a cradling embrace. Her breathing was already beginning to quicken, the anxiety and fear clearly written in her expression. The bright bloom glow coming from the entrance to the tent was faint, but they could still see each other well enough. His smile was reassuring.

"You know I would never ask you to do something you were uncomfortable with. I love you too much," he told her.

Zelda buried her face in his chest.

"This isn't something I simply want," She breathed, "I desperately need this distance between us to close. Please don't misinterpret my anxiety for reluctance, I can't bear it." Her eyes were pleading with him now.

His flushed face held an aroused glimmer she had never seen before. It was utterly intoxicating to look at. This desperate need was undeniable even without the expression of words. They closed the distance together, hands wandering needfully.

She tried not to think, not to breathe even. The flustered girl could only keep her eyes shut and allow him to kiss her deeper.

Link's curious hands drew her attention as one ghosted the underside of her breast. Zelda's eyes flitted open as she broke away. His answering expression was incredibly apologetic but she shook her head quickly, embarrassed by the knee-jerk reaction.

"Come back," She pleaded, pulling his hand to where it was once more. The last thing she wanted was to discourage his desires. Experienced or not, she needed this with him. This act of love was something she knew to be unlike anything else, and with all the love they already felt, her desire for more was brimming.

His expression was hopeful at the permission given, but the sight of her flustered expression the moment his thumb traced her nipple invoked an eager smile. Using both thumbs now, he caressed her nipples again. His eyes watched hers, drinking up her reaction.

She was trembling, he realized. It was overwhelming to watch. The fabric of his underwear was becoming uncomfortably restrictive.

He kissed her again desperately, then along her jaw and down her neck he trailed. There was still too much clothing between them, but sensing that she was a little immobilized from the anxiety, he sat back to remove his undershirt and toss it carelessly aside.

The sight of his bare chest made her blush and look away sheepishly, but it was enough to regain her focus. He watched in lustful amusement, his erection twitching visibly beneath the cloth as her trembling fingers undid her clasps. She had to look away as she slid the straps down her shoulders. He sat on his knees adjacent to her, his eyes unable to leave as her bare breasts finally came into view.

"Zelda, look at me," he breathed.

She couldn't. Her hands were covering her face now. Her heart was fluttering so quickly she felt close to losing consciousness. This was obviously the most he'd ever seen of her.

Zelda could feel him climbing over her. His mouth enveloped her breast, enticing a surprised gasp. She peeked through her fingers to the sight of his furrowed expression, eyes shut as he lay over her, suckling.

The quivering girl whimpered softly. She was losing herself. His tongue, his teeth, it felt so good. Her hands fell to her sides now, head resting back further. He alternated to the other side with a blissful sound.

Zelda sheepishly observed his hand reaching down to finally address the largely visible rise beneath his trousers, fingers wrapping around himself above the fabric with a tight squeeze. Her heart squeezed simultaneously.

"C-can I see you?" She stammered.

Link wordlessly complied with the request, rolling off and against the cushion stack, and tugging the fabric down as he went. She shyly covered her face again, and he let out a small laugh.

"If you want to look at me, you need to uncover your face," he teased affectionately.

"Perhaps… if you went back to what you were doing before. And you shut your eyes…" she replied.

Link did as he was told. She could already feel his mouth over her again, more aggressively this time. He was angled a little differently from before, and she was curious. She finally pulled her hands away to see.

He was steadily stroking himself, positioned in such a way that she could watch. Her heart leapt into her throat, an unsteady though obvious gasp escaping her lips. Her priceless reaction elicited a few happy chuckles from him, but his eyes obediently remained shut.

Link's unoccupied hand found its way to her other breast to tease and lightly pinch, her whimpers like music in his ears. Her own hands were tangled in his hair, pulling him closer to her chest. His breathing was getting more ragged and heavy now.

"May I open my eyes, Princess? Or will you hide from me again?" He murmured, tongue flicking at her skin as he spoke.

She kissed the top of his head and uttered a tiny, "Yes."

The swordsman squeezed hard on his erection again as he lifted away from her, a hazy though happy expression on his face. She was struggling, but still able to keep his gaze. Her hands lay shyly over her collarbone, not wanting to hide this time.

He once again came around in front of her, hands reaching for her thighs as he leaned across to press his lips to hers. His fingers had laced themselves around the fabric of her underwear. She could feel how much she'd soaked through them. The anticipation was too much.

Link descended, leaving kisses along her body as he went. Part of him lay outside the tent now. She sank into the cushions and watched with quick little breaths as he got closer to the spot she was pulsing and wet, heart thrumming wildly.

His mouth was just above the elastic now and he grinned to himself for a moment. Eager fingers began to yank down. His kisses peppered still, discovering as he went how smooth and soft she was. Her slit ever so slightly came into view, kissing as he saw it, and he gave her a second to catch her breath before ripping the panties off into literal shreds.

The tip of his tongue trailed up her lips shyly, testing her reaction. Her breathing caught in her throat. He gently licked her again, enticing a gasp, and for a brief moment he glanced upwards to meet her eyes.

The hesitation was agony, he could see it written all over her flushed face. He gave her a small lazy smile, his expression fully glassed over in lust, and his eyes slid shut as his mouth fell over her hungrily. They moaned in unison.

Link found a rhythm, his tongue buried deep as his hands lay at her sides. The ecstasy was unlike anything, and a sound neither of them had ever heard her make bubbled out, causing her to throw both arms over her face in horrified embarrassment. He laughed joyfully against her skin.

"You taste so sweet," he crooned.

She was the most amazing thing he'd ever tasted.

Those words escaping his lips tightened her up inside considerably. Every lap of his tongue built that pressure more. She was starting to feel a flicker now, the sounds escaping her becoming more drawn.

He was looking up and watching her face again, though she was fully unaware. The golden haired beauty was a whimpering mess and the faces she was making were incredibly mesmerizing, he truly couldn't look away. He loved the way he could make his girl feel.

Her hips bucked against his mouth, fingers gripping his hair with unaware tenacity. He sped up his pace now, a hand reaching above to tease the erect skin on her breast.

"Link…" Zelda moaned.

She unraveled, arms and head falling carelessly back now as her orgasm ignited. He placed a palm above where his mouth still busily finished her, and began to rub her quickly, amplifying every sensation to a level that brought literal tears to her eyes. More than a minute went by without a subside in intensity. It was the most incredible feeling she'd ever experienced. She couldn't believe it was real and wanted so desperately to share it with him. When the sensation eventually began to diminish, he began to slow down too.

Zelda was still panting, but recovering now. She sat up a bit to see Link wiping off his mouth with a smug expression on his face. He was still immensely hard, yet he made no move towards her.

"Get over here!" She practically growled.

"Yes ma'am!" He laughed, scrambling to her quickly and spreading apart her thighs before getting between. They both watched his hand position his cock up against her. Together they looked up, with mirrored expressions of wide eyes.

"I love you," Zelda whispered.

Link let out a jagged sigh and squeezed his eyes shut. The tip of his dick began easing into her deliberately and excruciatingly slowly. She made a discomforted sound, legs lifting up to wrap around him as she was penetrated. He collapsed on to her with an open lipped kiss, taking both of her hands as he did and locking their fingers together above her head. As deep as he was able to push now, a blissful moan erupted from him.

"You're going to break me," She gasped, her expression furrowed.

"Thanks," came his joking reply. A small giggle escaped her.

It was beginning to hurt less now, and her relieved sigh encouraged a couple shallow thrusts.

"Oh my goodness. Please…More," she whined. He nodded, kissing her tenderly before nuzzling his face into the crook of her neck. The serenity that washed over them both was all-consuming.

Their lovemaking found a steady rhythm. They had all the time at their disposal, and Link's stamina threshold was seemingly boundless. Zelda's mind was filled only with the feeling of his body inside hers, and the intensity of his desire. The friction she felt was exhilarating and addictive. She never wanted it to end.

"I need you," Zelda professed softly.

"I love you," He answered breathlessly.

Their movements were getting more aggressive now. She was taking his entirety with eager desire.

How she'd gone so many years deprived of this joy, was beyond her belief. Zelda wanted to be selfish, she wanted all of him, all of the time, just like this. She released his hands to push his chest lightly, pulling herself onto his lap and landing hard onto his shaft. A profanity hissed through his teeth as they fell around each other. Their arms held one another tight, his face resting now against her cleavage.

They kept this like this for a long while, the sound of mingled breathing and moaning riveting through the tent. The lovers were lost in each other. Her warmth encompassed him everywhere.

Link could sense his limit was nearing, to his dismay, but he'd never been one to give in without a fight.

He paused for a moment, then lifted her off his lap. "Turn around."

Giving her orders like that, she couldn't deny what a turn on it was. She complied, and got on her knees with her back facing him.

He got up against her, before his arm snaked around her waist and his other hand positioned himself. He eased in again slowly, pausing when she indicated discomfort, until he was in deep. She couldn't hold herself up, so against the cushions they fell.

He was biting down on her neck possessively, and letting out ragged puffs of air against her skin. She could barely feel it, but the marks he left were bruising.

She focused on the pleasure in his voice, as well as her own from the feel of him inside. She could hear the sound their bare skin created from the contact, but all she could see was the red cushion against her face.

"Let me see you," She gasped.

He turned her over on her side without breaking stride and sought her tongue with his own. He had her legs tucked up to her chest now with an arm hooked beneath her knees to keep her body from sliding.

They held this the longest. They watched the ecstasy of each other's expressions build, and it was evident how close he was becoming with the passing minutes.

"Sweetheart…I-I need to-" Link began. She shook her head. She was about to come too. He trusted her to know it was fine; it was too late regardless.

With one final, unceremonious thrust, Link began to come hard and convulsively inside of her. She couldn't help watching the expression befall him as he groaned and continued pumping.

His orgasm face had to be the most attractive thing in living existence and it was going to reside inside her head indefinitely. She was coming again from watching, matching the pace of his erratic shallow thrusts with her own hips.

Moments passed as their jerky movements steadied. The unsyncronized breathing didn't subside as quickly.

Unsheathing himself shakily now, they both collapsed in utter exhaustion. Fluid was spilling out between them onto the bed roll, though neither of them had the energy to address it. They lay holding each other, trying to breathe. Zelda's fingers played idly with his hair as the feeling of his pulse hammered against her.

The two smiled sleepily at each other after a while before sitting up and fixing the bedding. That was the only thing they had any more energy to do.

Their bodies were tangled as they both fell into the most restful sleep.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I have several comments (which may or may not make you laugh)

No, Link does not spend his days at home masturbating, he's a good boy. But I mean sometimes y'know, you just gotta. Poor thing's so pent up. ;o

Zelda is exactly the type to research and prepare before doing something like this, she's a lil nerd, and Link is exactly the type to snoop and not say anything. This is based on behaviors of theirs from the games. It's pretty evident from a lot of dialogue choices that Link has a sense of humor and I do my best to implement that. The seal puns? He's a gd dork. 3

Of course Link wanted to eat her, he fucking loves to eat.

Link having the ability to last a while his first time having sex is reasonable in my head because men who use a death grip when they masturbate are not nearly as sensitive down there as men who don't. (I only know this from personal experience) I could imagine he uses a death grip on his sword, as well as his 'sword' if you know what I mean ;o ;o ;o

For the sake of remaining wholesome, I needed them both to be virgins. I didn't feel like giving them an awkward conversation about past experiences.

Zelda says 'oh my goodness', instead of 'oh my god(s)' Zelda is the embodiment of goodness itself, as she is the loving God and creator of all humans in her past life. Link says 'Oh my god' because his only one is her. Makes sense to me…

I love how Link casually ignores questions he doesn't feel like answering.

The date location is a real place on the botw/totk map, it's the cove at Mapla Point, which is to the right of Hateno beach if you're looking at the pause menu. Go there, experience their love when you read. Lmfao
