Tony heard Chloe's warning, that Chapelle was setting Mason up. But it was too late, Chapelle came out to greet Tony, and Tony feared he couldn't leave without arousing suspicion. Tony decided to just go inside, not let Chapelle know what he knew, and maybe find out something that they could use to prove Chapelle's involvement.

Kyle Singer arrives at dr Vaachaspati's office. Samira Noori will be arriving soon regarding the "job interview." It's risky, asking her to help identify a member of her own government as a possible traitor. They have less than seven hours before the withdrawel needs to be complete, so it's now or never.

Speaker Nathan Templeton arrives at the White House and acting president Keaton greets him. The press know of Templeton's arrival and assume he is just milking the situation. They do not yet know Templeton is being blackmailed by Carl Webb.

Templeton: Thank you for having me mr president.
Keaton: Ofcourse mr speaker. Would you like some breakfast?
Templeton: I've already eaten, but I could use some orange juice. And we should discuss the withdrawel from Afghanistan. Do you still intend for us to leave the country in less than seven hours?
Keaton: We are keeping an early warning system in place to warn of potential attacks. As it stands now we will be withdrawing our military forces from Afghanistan on schedule. However, at the moment our forces are conducting an investigation regarding the earlier attack on our embassy. If any element of the Afghan government is involved, than that complicates matters considerable.

Jack Bauer is at the hospital comforting his daughter Kimberly. He receives a call from Chloe and goes to take it.

Jack: What is it Chloe?
Chloe: I found evidence that Mason was right, he's being set up by Chapelle.
Jack: Tony was on his way to CTU.
Chloe: Yeah, and I think he might be trapped there.

Jack hated to leave Kim again, but he saw little alternative. He couldn't leave Tony to die, but at the moment he couldn't think of a way to get Tony out of CTU.
