It was later after school with the students running out of school with their after school plans in mind; "Now after school after finally asking out the girl of my dreams to the Prom... What did I have planned?" Lincoln asked running out with the rest of 'Team Weirdo' as he got out his notebook and saw his schedule for today. However he frowned and groaned when he read it; "I spent so much time on working on asking out Dawn that I never thought about what to do next..." Lincoln said looking at the blank sections for what to do after school.
"Don't sweat it man... There is no shame in just winging your afternoon; I like to do that a lot as well! Will I want to go to the comic store or the DVD store? My feelings will guide the way!" Harold said confidently as they looked amused at this.
"Well I got the first part of my afternoon picked out by my mum; I made the mistake of telling her that I already asked out Courtney for the Prom and now she wants me straight after school to come home and start trying out her old Prom dress. Hopefully I can deal with it long enough and then put in a horror movie. Plus text Courtney as I am sure that she will want me to prepare to go for the Prom King crown so that I will be next to her; I imagine that she will work extra hard to get the Prom Queen crown after losing the election for Student Body." Gwen said with a sigh that turned into an amused look and they laughed as they knew how Courtney could get.
"Dawn! I was so happy to be there when Lincoln asked you out! About time! If he didn't by the end of the day; I was planning on encouraging you to ask him out to Prom yourself!" spoke Bridgette hugging Dawn by the neck from behind as Dawn just took it in stride; her aura reading powers allowing her to sense one of the nicest girls in school.
"Thank you and I do hope that you and Geoff will have an exceptional night at Prom yourselves just as we will!" Dawn answered Bridgette and came said Bridgette's boyfriend Geoff the biggest party boy in school as he jumped at Harold.
"Harold, Lincoln... Are you dudes up to try out tuxedos?" Geoff asked and Harold grinned but Lincoln gave it a thought.
"Thanks Geoff but now I think about it... I can try at home and catch up with my friends there as one of them Rusty... His dad runs a tuxedo store so I can try and find one to rent for Prom..." Lincoln answered and Geoff gave him a thumbs up as then came other girls including LeShawna and Sammy.
"Dawn; you want to join us in trying out dresses? Look our best to impress the boys?" Bridgette asked as Dawn thought it over.
"Thank you very much for the offer Bridgette but..." Dawn said but LeShawna caught her by the shoulder smirking.
"How about I fix how Bridgette phrased it because she made it sound like that you have a job..." LeShawna told her as Dawn was surprised but smiled.
"Farewell friends as I will see you later as it appears that I am being kidnapped." Dawn told them and they laughed with them all saying goodbye to eachother and Lincoln getting out the teleportation device to send him back to Royal Woods; after texting his parents to tell them where he was.
All the way in Great Lakes City in the US; in the apartment owned by the Casagrande family, in an apartment room there was Ronnie Anne Santiago having to try out her old dress from her quinceañera by her grandmother Rosa. There was her cousin Carlota taking photos with her phone embarrassing her while also there smiling was her older brother Bobby and his wife Lori.
"Was this necessary Abuela?" Ronnie Anne complained as Rosa saw how perfectly; it still fit.
"Off course Ronalda; have to make sure that you can use it for Prom! You will off course have to fight off boys with a stick until Lincoln finds you!" Rosa replied excitedly as Ronnie Anne sighed while rolling her eyes.
"Nothing really became more between us Abuela after we danced when I last wore this dress." Ronnie Anne pointed out but Lori shook her head.
"Some boys just need to have it drilled more in his head and I saw how spluttering he was when he first saw you and so just a few nudges and... I can just see your wedding already..." Lori answered and sighed with happiness along with Rosa.
"He didn't want to go to Sadie Hawkins dance at our old elementary school so what makes you think that he even thought of going to Prom at his school out of the country?" Ronnie Anne then asked as Lori shook his head.
"I remember and I know you are still sceptical but just trust me and don't think that it couldn't happen. You might just have to ask him yourself if he ends up still being an idiot and not take the chance. Plus I bet he will be thrilled to hear that the Prom will be joint between your school and the one in Royal Woods he would have been going to along with his friends! I bet a chance to spend such an event with his friends will be too much for him to pass off and then you strike!" Lori encouraged with a smirk. "Please be ready to come with us as we break the news if he hadn't already been told by his friends." Lori told Ronnie Anne as she was imagining how the rest of the day will play out.
She then texted Leni to ask if she will be able to come to the family's house at a certain time for a special moment and then to Luna who she had found out had taken a job to be in charge of music for the joint Prom. Luan was unfortunately working out of town for an entertainment business but the rest of the sisters should be together for this as she texted them to be prepared for Lincoln to see Ronne Anne as they break the news.
