Chapter 5
One week later…
Kiyoshi froze as he stood before the school.
His father walked him to the gate however didn't go any farther at his request. "If you need anything, call. Also…"
"I know dad, I won't use my full strength or abilities, we spent all week perfecting it with uncle Suiryu!" he protested.
His father smiled and patted his head. "Have fun, okay?"
He nodded and walked into the school.
There were so many people, and a lot of students. Kiyoshi wondered about aimlessly until he found his locker. However, as he approached, there were two guys already there.
"They changed the lock, this is my favorite locker!"
"Kick the kid out who has it!"
"Damn right I will!"
He sighed, apparently there is already going to be a problem.
Kiyoshi came up from behind them. "Excuse me, I need to get in," he said gently.
"Look buddy this here is…" the guy turned around, yet, he found he was a few inches shorter than Kiyoshi. He took one look in his eyes before backing down.
"Thanks, I didn't want to be late for class. First day." Kiyoshi said and laughed off the incident.
He got his locker opened, tucking a few items inside including his lunch, he locked up and went to his first class. Apparently it would be social studies.

'Why… is everyone staring at me?'
He was the first one in class, and yet, he found his classmates staring at him oddly enough. As if there was something wrong with him… then again, he does have aqua blue hair so that might be it.
"Do you know who he is?"
"No idea, but he has to have come from a good family to be here!"
"No kidding but WHAT family?"
'Is that it? They are trying to see what money I come from?' he thought, but he ignored the notion anyways.
As class started, they were given various topic to discuss and talk about. What interested him were topics of what could have been like a thousand years ago. However, he also knows not to bring up sorcerers or Ryomen Sukuna for that matter!
"Do you think life from a thousand years has altered that much?" the teacher asked.
The students snorted a laugh. "Of course, that's a thousand years ago!" one said bluntly.
"No, it hasn't," Kiyoshi called out.
The room paused.
The teacher focused on him. "Mr… Itadori? Is that correct?"
He nodded to the name. "Well, Itadori, why do you say it has not changed in a thousand years?"
"Well, the fact of the matter is this. Those of power remain in power, they hoard their authority and use it to influence as well as keep society in line according to their rules, tradition and means of keeping themselves in charge. We still live in a society where the rich who have become the powerful are dictating to those with little influence as to what is normal, what one needs to accomplish in order to be considered successful, even if it means stepping on the person in front of you." He explained.
The teacher paused oddly.
"What if we didn't have these people in power?" she asked.
"That's the thing, we won't know. I doubt we will ever know." He said bluntly. "For we have not experienced a time where we are not led by the wealthy or the privileged. Sure, we can elect people into office, but they don't have the same pull as say an emperor right?" he asked. "If anything, society has been made and forged in order to keep the people in line and make it appear that this IS normal, and not to question it."
Silence.
Perhaps… he went a little too overboard with the explanation.
The teacher however, was staring at him with fascination. "In other countries, this would be considered an act against the government." She said.
"Which is why and how they stay in charge." He replied. "Those who keep silent will never break free from their shackles of being controlled. I am not saying that we should ditch society in general, but the fact is. We're always led by the rich and those in power, it would be far more difficult to function if you don't have someone who knows how to led and inspire the people to prosperity if they don't know how. Those who have become rich, know how to motivate people to their will and whim. Those without that experience and expect society to crumble for there is no leadership"
"Dork," someone muttered under their breath.
The teacher however, she appeared… inspired. "Itadori, you have said far more in the first day than I get out of most students in a year." She decreed. "How do you have such insight?"
He smiled. "I'm around a lot of people who have sage like wisdom and experience."
That wasn't a lie, but it was the best way to explain. That or he tells her that he has someone from a thousand years ago that he can ask!
The bell run shortly after, Kiyoshi got up to leave, but the teacher stopped him. "I don't know if you are aware of the rules around here, but, you may want to alter your hair color… dyed hair is forbidden here…" she whispered.
"Oh… uh… but it IS my hair color." He explained gently. He even took a hair from the root to prove it, even that was blue!
She was stunned to see it first hand, and yet Kiyoshi also realized he shouldn't have done that. It's dragon hair still!
So as odd as it was, he tucked it into a tissue and pocketed it. "I'll probably need this for an explanation all day today…" he snickered.

He went to his next class, math that was ridiculously simple.
He never realized Nanami sensei was giving him math problems three grades higher than his own! Yet still he breezed through it and got board in the middle of class. So much so he started to work ahead to pass the time.
"Mr. Itadori are you listening!" the teacher roared.
"No," he said bluntly.
"If that's the case, answer this!"
He peered up at the board, he saw the problem and sighed. "Negative three," he said and went back to work.
There was silence.
"What did you say!?" the teacher demanded.
He sighed, staring at the board he pointed to the problems and gave the answers instantly.
It shut the teacher up right away!
'I'm starting to think this is completely pointless…' Kiyoshi thought to himself.
When class ended, he went to his locker to get his lunch. He was able to eat in his next classroom since there was no class taking place. H wasn't the only one since the other students came in as well to partake in their meals.
Yet, once more, everyone was staring at him as he unpacked his lunch… multiple times.
Apparently Muta sensei had developed a cursed storage bag. It will hold ten times the amount of its size. And luckily for him, Uncle Eso packed him a massive lunch!
Twelve bento boxes, the size of a notebook were unpacked and eaten.
Yet, every so often, Kiyoshi would see the others just stare at him with disbelief. "How much food is that?!" one student demanded. "That has to be what, ten thousand calories?!"
Kiyoshi merely shrugged as he continued to clean out the boxes until nothing remained. He was nice and full and ready for the rest of the day. Yet, school was remarkably boring!
However, in his boredom, he could hear the other kids whispering and talking about him.
"He's freaky, I mean he has blue hair!" one whispered.
Granted, there are others out there with blue hair, but his was nearly Satoru Gojo eye color blue. It sparkled a little in the light but he didn't think much of it.
"He talks smart but he hasn't spoken to anyone else here…" said another.
'Two way street' he thought to himself. If there was someone he was interested in talking to, he would, but, at the moment. Everyone is too busy judging him.
But, there was one comment that caught his attention. Not to mention, he felt something odd about them.
When he is out in public, how he senses curse energy is a little different, he feels for a resistance, for the energy comes off the body.
That sensation was in this classroom.
In fact, there were four guys sitting in the corner of the room, staring at him funny. "Itadori… my clan knows that name! That's the name of the demon vessel to Sukuna!"
He froze a little but continued to listen.
"So he's the son of the demon vessel? Then again, his father wasn't that powerful wasn't he? Merely a vessel…"
"Tsk, perhaps we need to tell our parents about it?"
He decided to mess with them.
Kiyoshi stood up and approached the four. "Hi…" he said as they appeared startled to his appearance.
"Hey…"
"I thought I would introduce myself. I'm Kiyoshi Itadori" he said and lowered his head. "I hope we can get along."
The four forced a smile, one snorted a laugh before saying. "And if we don't?"
He only smiled back to them. "Then it would be your loss in more ways than one. Thank you for your time," and he went back to his seat.
No one moved.
He didn't know who those four guys were, but by the looks of things, they tend to pull some weight around here.
Kiyoshi just poked the hornets nest in high school…
