Chapter one:
"Twins. Perfect." A mother sighs in relief. "We can have both sides of our work happen."
"Indeed." A father gently touches the cheek of one of the twin boys. "We just will have to decide who will do which part."
"Well either way we get two children to love dearly." The mother mentions with love in her eyes at her newborns.
….
Hikaru and Kaoru are sitting at home together playing on their phones like teenagers do. They send messages back and forth instead of talking so no one can hear their conversation. They glance up as their parents approach.
"Boys. It is time for your training." Their mother tells them and Hikaru groans.
"Do we have to?" Hikaru gives a pleading look as he hopes that they can get out of working on things separately at least today.
"Yes. Now I think that you will like this one." Their father mentions causing the twins to glance to each other. "Sometimes we combine our businesses to get something done. You just have to know how to do it so the fashion business won't be affected. Though we will start with some stealth stuff. Come." He turns gesturing for his sons to follow after him.
Finally the two of them get up and follow their parents to the secret training room.
A training room where Kaoru spends more time than Hikaru does, though Hikaru tries to join sometimes because he and his brother are super close. Today it is set up like the inside of some fancy building.
"Alright. So here is how things will go. Hikaru you will be bringing some stuff to the client to try to get a purchase or a business arraignment. This is going to be a disguise to allow Kaoru to get in easier so he can get to his target while you are the main distraction. Though you must use what your acting teachers taught you to make sure that you act like what has happened isn't related to you at all. You pull out of the whole thing pretending to not want to be associated with this. With the right acting and words this works though it is a case where we try to do this very minimally. To keep off suspicions." Their father explains to them. "It is a trick that you two can keep in your back pockets as a last resort."
"Tell us more." Kaoru requests as the two are indeed interested in this.
"Alright well your target is going to be a man we named Hinata." Their father gestures for one of the people that act out missions for training to come over.
This person is dressed almost like he is could be some big business owner that has lots of stores everywhere like an expensive jewellery shop. His outfit is mostly black with gold trimmings to make it look good. His brown hair slicked back and his green eyes sparkling in excitement for this training.
"Hikaru. You will have to put your acting skills to the test with this. And Kaoru will have to really put his stealth to the test. This is a very difficult task to pull off. However I think you two are ready to try it out."
"We won't disappoint." The twins tell their father with determined looks.
"Good. Now. Hikaru your mother will show you how to set up things to allow you to get an audience with such people. Kaoru you and me will get you ready for this mission. We will meet back here soon. The actors will also get into their places."
For now the two split up to prepare… Soon enough things are all set with Kaoru even hiding most of his face and his hair so it's not obvious that he is related to Hikaru if he gets seen, almost looking like some kind of ninja, while Hikaru is dressed in a suit with a rack of clothes that his mother showed him how to pick out to interest the target to give Kaoru lots of time.
Kaoru hides himself in the cart as instructed since the base allows for him to hide and exit without noise if he does it right.
"Okay before you begin I want you two to remember something." Their father tells them as the two turn to him. "If you fail here we can work on it. And timing is another key part. Especially for not being seen like when exiting what Hikaru is using to get Kaoru inside. And Hikaru you remember what side is Kaorus secret escape and what side holds the supplies someone who does clothes would have to make them extra presentable. Get this wrong and you'll expose your brother and your trick."
Hikaru nods and their parents move away quickly going to their viewing spot to be able to observe everything. He takes hold of the wheeled rack as a man dressed as a body guard comes over to stand next to them. "Ready." He tells them with Kaoru hidden.
The doors open that were meant to be an elevator.
"This way Mr. Hitachiin." The bodyguard mentions leading Hikaru along as Hikaru pushes the cart with the clothes and Kaoru. "I am sure that Mr. Hinata will be very pleased to be able to meet with you. He has been looking for new cooperation business opportunities for awhile now."
"I am glad to hear that." Hikaru mentions putting on a smile while hoping that he won't mess this up. "I have been hoping to find a cooperation partner for a project these are a part of. I am hoping that having another endorsing it as well will boost sales even more. I plan for this adventure to be very successful. However the details is something that I would rather discuss with Mr. Hinata." He is glad when the bodyguard nods not showing any suspicion.
"He is right in here." The bodyguard lets them into a room and follows them inside.
Hikaru slightly glances around noticing two other bodyguards in the room. He turns to the man who is sitting at the desk and approaches. "So many bodyguards." He mentions which is meant for Kaoru to hear. "Three is a bit much for a business meeting don't you think?"
"Well you build up your own business you gain a few enemies. Surely you understand that." The man chuckles and Hikaru nods his head.
"Yes. I understand that very much. My family does have their share. Though I must admit that I do not feel threatened by you Mr. Hinata." Hikaru tells the man with a very calm tone. "Though I do have an emergency way to contact my security team as a precaution. You know because who knows what enemies might try to pull."
Mr. Hinata laughs. "Ah. So glad that I don't come off as intimidating to you at least. I have had too many business offers who were terrified of me." He gets up heading over to check out the stuff that Hikaru had brought. "Huh. I must confess these are much better quality than I was expecting from the pictures."
"I strive for the best." Hikaru boasts with a proud smile as he even puffs out his chest a little giving a proud stance.
"And it shows." Mr. Hinata hums in confirmation of this. He takes his time looking over the garments with no way for Kaoru to get out yet without being seen. He glances down.
"Oh excuse the base." Hikaru crouches to open the drawer showing various things that will help the clothes if needed. "I come prepared."
Mr. Hinata chuckles. "I like you and your way of going about business." He mentions as Hikaru pushes the drawer closed. He turns away from the clothes. "You can leave that here. Come with me to the side room. I wrote up a proposal I want you to look over. One of my bodyguards will stay with it to ensure no one touches it."
"I appreciate it. And he can pick up any that may fall off the hangers. The manufacture doesn't make hangers like they used to. I am looking for a new company with better hangers if you know any." Hikaru nods his head getting a don't worry about it wave. So he continues on glad that Mr. Hinata understands. "I am willing to see if I am willing to agree to what you think may work." He follows Mr. Hinata to another room.
A bodyguard stands next to the cart purposefully standing on the side of Kaoru's exit.
Kaoru uses the peephole and guesses that this happens so it makes the mission a little harder. He turns away and knows that he has to distract the bodyguard. He is glad that there is a way to distract the bodyguard from seeing him escape. He presses one of the buttons inside the cart which causes one of the garments to fall so it lands on the other side. He was told that the hangers are special in a way of being able to drop one side so the garment can fall to one side, then return to normal before it gets noticed.
The bodyguard heads over and carefully picks it up grabbing the garment trying to not mess it up.
Kaoru carefully exits and darts to behind the desk with the cart in the way of the guards sight of him getting there. He is glad that Hikaru put it in perfect position and it wasn't moved. He hides there and peeks out careful to not be where the guard can see. He notices that the guard is busy with the hanging of the garment. He'll have to just not get spotted in the side of the guards vision. He turns and luckily there is a way he should be able to get to the room which is through a vent.
The vent looks to be for AC to come in which is actually barely big enough for Kaoru to get in.
Kaoru carefully removes the screws knowing that the man likely has the vents connected to all the rooms so he should be able to get there. Plus if he has to then he can stay there until he gets an opportunity even if Hikaru has to leave to keep up the act. He was told that sometimes this is the case where Hikaru can only get him in and not always out. He silently gets the panel off then climbs in after putting the screws back on so it wont fall. He cant reach to fix the screws though it does give him a way out of the vent. He carefully moves around in the narrow vents trying to not make too much noise. He doesn't let the cold of the vents bother him either. He comes to a spot with a panel that looks into the room where Hikaru is checking out the written proposal. 'It's show time.' He thinks to himself picking out one of his options that can work in this situation. He raises the silenced gun aiming it in the direction of the target. He tries to not let the light hit the metal of the tiny pistol. He only has one chance since he only has one of the ammo. He has to hit the target. He wouldn't be an assassin like their father if he missed.
