Hello readers. Here's a fanfiction that I've been posting on deviantart and furaffinity, I decided to post it on too. After drawing those pics of Pikachu with Primarina as the Golden Harp from Mickey and the Beanstalk, I decided to make a Pokémon fanfiction version of the story which is a collaboration with Autiboysam; Pikachu and the Beanstalk. While being based on the Mickey version, I'm going to take elements from other adaptations of the original Jack and the Beanstalk fairy tale as well as stuff that was originally going to be in the Mickey version when it was at first going to be a full movie before World War II crushed those plans. Most notably, featuring a golden egg laying bird, which will be a Swanna and a royal ruler of Happy Valley.

Once upon a time, long, long ago, far, far away, where the trees were greener than the prettiest green and the sky were bluer than the prettiest blue, there was a place called Happy Valley. It was called that because everybody was happy and smiled all day. It was one of nature's garden spots, nestled among the green, rolling hills. A lovely brook flowed through the valley. The winding roads were lined with stately trees. Lush fields and prosperous farms dotted the landscape. There is laughter in the fields of golden corn. The bird Pokémon sang. The Beedrills and Combee buzz merrily and even the Politoeds and Froakie jumped with joy. And high on a hilltop overlooking the golden valley, shining like a jewel, stood a majestic, enchanted castle, home to the ruler of Happy Valley, Princess Xerneas.
And something very precious was kept within these castle walls. Two individuals that were the source of the valley's happiness. First was a beautiful Swanna that was not like any other. She had the ability to lay golden eggs. Whenever somebody was in need of money, Princess Xerneas would have the Swanna lay a gold egg. All she had to do was say the word, "lay", and Swanna would lay the golden egg instantly. The individual would then exchange the egg for money to buy food or supplies. But the most powerful source of the valley's happiness was a magic, singing harp. In other words, she can play her music without the use of human hands to strum her strings. She resembled a golden harp, but with the column in the form of a beautiful Primarina. She had blond hair like a shiny Primarina, but the tiara-like structure was yellow instead of blue or pink. She also wore a yellow dress, had breasts and full, luscious pink lips. The Primarina Harp could still move her arms and head. She had a beautiful singing voice like a real Primarina, but was more angelic. But her origins of how she came to be was shrouded in mystery. Every day, the Primarina Harp stood in the balcony of Princess Xerneas' tower to sing her beautiful song. Listen.

Yes, the voice of this golden harp was so happy, it cast a magic spell of joy and prosperity over the valley. Everybody loved to hear her sing her wonderful song. But there was one resident of Happy Valley that loved the Primarina Harp's singing more than any other resident. It was a Pikachu. He was a companion of one of the farmers; Ash Ketchum. He was one of the hardest working and best farmers of Happy Valley. His other Pokémon included Charizard, Greninja, Lucario, Incineroar and Oshawott. His Pokémon helped him with his farm work. Ash also had a Miltank named Bossy, who produced the most delicious milk. Ash lived next door to two other residents; Serena and Brock. Serena was Ash's childhood friend and she had a crush on Ash. She had a Delphox, Pancham and Sylveon to help her with her chores. Brock, although he was a hard worker, what he really wanted in life was to find the girl of his dreams. He hadn't much luck so far. The Pokémon that Brock had that helped him with his farming were Steelix, Forretress, Ludicolo, Marshtomp, Croagunk and Blissey. Every day, whenever Ash went to the market to sell milk and other crops, Pikachu would wander to the part of the castle wall closest to Princess Xerneas' tower. There, he would be able to get a good hearing of the harp's angelic voice. Her singing entranced Pikachu.

One morning, Pikachu stood near the castle wall to hear the harp's singing as usual. After the Primarina Harp finished singing, she took notice of Pikachu near the wall. She turned to Princess Xerneas. She was currently brushing the Swanna's feathers. The Swanna wore a gold collar on her neck to show that she belonged to royalty. Princess Xerneas wore a blue dress along with a golden tiara. "Princess Xerneas, I just noticed that there's a Pikachu standing near the part of the castle wall closest to our tower," said the Primarina Harp.
"Oh, him. I've seen him a couple of times before. He's a companion of one of the farmers, Ash Ketchum," said Xerneas.
"You mean, you've seen him at the castle wall before?" asked the Primarina Harp.
"Yes. I think he likes hearing your singing," said Xerneas.
"Really. With your permission, maybe we can invite him and Ash to the castle. I would like to meet this Pikachu in person if he likes my singing that much," said the Primarina Harp.
"I think that would be a wonderful idea. Plus, some of the food the servants buy from the marketplace are the ones that Ash sells. I'd like to give him my feedback for the food he sold for that banquet last week. No pun intended," said Xerneas.

I hope you enjoyed reading the first chapter. Autiboysam suggested that I have as the royal ruler of Happy Valley be a Xerneas, who is a princess. Now, I suppose some of you are wondering, if Xerneas has those life giving powers that could restore plant life, why doesn't she use it to restore Happy Valley after harp and Swanna get kidnapped? Well, if she expends too much life energy, she'll transform into a tree and sleep for 1,000 years. And Happy Valley needs its ruler. Also, there will be two visits to the giant's castle, like how Jack made multiple trips in the original tale. In addition, the origin of the Primarina Harp will be shown. But I'll let you see what the other elements I'll be using from other Jack and the Beanstalk adaptations I'll use in my fanfiction. Next chapter, Ash and Pikachu are invited to the castle and Pikachu meets the Primarina Harp up close for the first time . . .
