Chapter 3
The First Years
(Teachers Lounge, U.A. High, Musutafu, Japan)
"Are we sure having this boy here at U.A. is the right thing?" Aizawa asked.
"You'd rather someone this powerful be educated by another school? I'm sure that'll go over well, especially during the 'Crushing Of U.A.'." Midnight asked.
"Plus, if he doesn't become a hero, he could go the other way, and that would be a disaster." Snipe said.
"Disaster? Someone with power like that, as a villain? It would be Apocalyptic!" Present Mic said.
"Okay, let's not exaggerate. The boy wants to be a hero. Worst case scenario... he might go vigilante if he's not granted a Hero License. And you know what the HPSC will say about that." Cementos stated.
"They might blame us." Snipe said.
"They WILL blame us." Midnight said.
"They'll want to control him, make him their poster boy, like they did with All Might." Vlad King said.
"You mean Young Midoriya could become the new Symbol of Peace?" All Might said with some amused pride.
"Why not? His circumstances are unique." Vlad said.
"That wouldn't be so bad." All Might said.
"But you're talking about making him the new Symbol off Peace now, as opposed to when he graduates." Midnight added.
"NOW? That's ridiculous! He's not properly trained! You don't just give someone super powers, put him in a costume and send him out on patrol to fight evil!" All Might said.
"But being young and impressionable would make him the perfect HPSC candidate." Vlad said.
"Candidate? You mean flunkie." Midnight said.
"More like goon." Aizawa said.
"That is an issue we can address at a later date." Nezu interrupted.
"Young Midoriya's potential is virtually unlimited. With his powers he could match every and any Pro-Hero currently out there." All Might said.
"Match? More like surpass. If what you told us is true." Cementos said.
"It is." All Might said.
"We need to put Midoriya into the Hero Course to be trained. Aizawa?" Nezu said.
"Fine. If you insist." the lazy-looking teacher said.
While the rest of the meeting was spent determining the placement of the rest of their students, All Might's thoughts drifted back to what they had said previously.
Young Midoriya's powers were beyond anything anyone in U.A. had. No student or teacher, himself included, in the history of U.A. could match his power. POWERS, Plural.
Strength, flight, speed, invulnerability, lightning bolts, not to mention a variety of mystical abilities would give him a definite advantage.
All Might still remembered that fight in Kahndaq against Black Adam, the one All For One had tricked both of them in to.
All Might had tracked All For One to Kahndaq, which is why both of them were there. All For One was after Black Adams powers, All Might was there to apprehend him for his crimes in Japan, in particular that of killing his mentor, Nana Shimura.
The Kahndaqian demi-god had really put him on the ropes. His strength and speed were an even match for his own. But his lightning power, not to mention his virtually unlimited stamina would have done him in.
That was when All For One intervened.
Somehow he had acquired an Eternium Rocket and blasted the pair with it, severely injuring Black Adam.
Despite Black Adam's incredible powers, he wasn't invincible. Magic could injury, possibly even kill, him. And Eternium crystals were magic enough to do the job.
Severely injured, Black Adam realized that All Might was not his enemy.
Despite having unlimited stamina, the Eternium had weakened Black Adam, nearly knocking him unconscious, so he was not at his peak when he and All Might finally managed to cripple and seemingly kill All For One. Their combined powers shook the entire city of Shiruta, both before and after All For One attacked them. Both men being nearly exhausted because of all this.
All For One had not been seen since, yet, he had left a little gift for All Might. A crippling injury that had destroyed part of his stomach and respiratory system.
As thanks for helping him, as well as an apology, Black Adam used his magical power to heal the Number 1 Pro-Hero as much as he could.
Even now All Might could stay in his powered-up form for more than 6 hours at a time. Which was useful to him since he would need it to be a teacher here at U.A. and still do his hero work.
"And that brings us to the last Recommended Student. Momo Yaoyorozu." Nezu said.
"Despite my reservations, I'd say put her into Aizawa's class." Vlad said.
"Reservations?" Aizawa asked.
"I just don't want to see her expelled, like that last group you kicked out last year." Vlad said.
"Those students were re-enrolled." Aizawa stated.
"Yeah, into General Studies."
"They had no potential to be heroes."
"Are you sure it wasn't just because you were too lazy to put in the necessary effort to actually train them up to be proper heroes?" Midnight asked with a teasing tone.
Aizawa just glared at the woman. Aizawa's 'habits' and 'eccentricities' notwithstanding, it was still a source of amusement for people like her.
"She does have a point, Aizawa. The class you expelled last year had potential otherwise they would not have been put into the Hero Course in the first place." Nezu said.
"You still gave me a class of students after I expelled those 20." he argued back.
"I had to. They had already paid their tuition money, and as an educational institution we are obligated to educate them. Besides, the majority of students here at U.A. aspires to be heroes." Nezu said.
"Not to mention that after the Sports Festival, most of the original class you expelled were able to get back into the Hero Course." Present Mic added.
"Which seemed a little redundant." Snipe said.
"More like counter-productive. You kicked them out and most of them worked their way back into the Hero Course." Vlad said.
"Yes. Most of them lived up to their potential." Aizawa stated.
"Oh, was that your plan in the first place? To get them to fight for their place to be heroes?" Vlad asked.
"In a way. I wanted them to show their true potential, to make them earn it, and not let them think that being a hero was just given to them on a platter. I didn't want them to become complacent." Aizawa said.
"But they passed the Entrance Exam and earned their spot in the Hero Course to begin with. Out of over 300 applicants." Midnight said.
"And if they wanted to keep it, they had to keep fighting for it. To keep them from being lazy. And I plan to do the same with this new batch of students." he said.
"You mean you wanted all of your students to be fully trained and experienced so that you didn't have to actually do anything?" Midnight asked.
"More time for sleep, I guess." Snipe chuckled.
"I'm sure these new students will surprise you." All Might said.
"We'll see. All of these students had their quirks all their lives. They know how to use them. But Midoriya... he's had his powers less than a year." Aizawa said.
"Which I've been helping him get accustomed to over the last few months. Who do you think cleaned up Dagobah Beach?" All Might asked.
"That wasn't you?" Present Mic asked.
"I supervised. Believe me, Aizawa, he'll surprise you." All Might said.
"He'd better." Aizawa said.

(U.A. High, First Day)
Izuku Midoriya was already in class as several more people began straggling in.
He wasn't really surprised to see fellow applicant Tenya Iida as one of the first people there.
"So... Ingenium's brother is here early in the morning. I shouldn't be surprised you're so fast." Izuku said with a smirk.
"Tenya Iida, from Somei Academy. And yes, I do try to be prompt and on time." the taller, glasses-wearing boy said as he extended his hand.
"Izuku Midoriya, Aldera Junior High." Izuku said as he shook hands.
"You disappeared right when the test began, so I have to wonder just what your quirk is. You said it was Magic?"
"Officially it's listed as 'Magic'. Though... it's not really a quirk like you have."
Tenya looked shocked to hear that. Not a 'quirk'? That was interesting.
However, before the younger brother of Ingenium could inquire more, a new voice spoke up.
"Oh! You're here too! I was hoping you were here!" a familiar voice said.
Izuku and Tenya turned around and saw a familiar girl with brown hair standing before them.
"I'm Ochaco Uraraka. Nice to meet you." she said.
"Izuku Midoriya, and this is Tenya Iida." Izuku said.
"Hello, nice to meet you." Tenya said.
Izuku took a quick look around and noticed several other people in the classroom. There were still three empty seats, and one of them was not the person he was expecting.
He noticed several people with standout features, like the boy with the birds head, a tall boy with six arms who had the lower half of his face covered, a large boy with a rock-like head, a girl who had a rather long tongue and frog-like features, a short boy with purple balls on his head, and a set of clothes that seemed to be sitting up on their own. Judging from the 'figure' and the skirt, Izuku figured the person must be a girl and with some kind of invisibility quirk.
He spied a girl with black hair and a pair of long earphone jacks coming out of her ears. He saw a blond-haired boy who seemed to sparkle a little, making Izuku think it was his quirk or something. He noticed an attractive young woman with her hair tied back into a ponytail who was sitting upright and staring forward. He also saw a boy with spiky orange-hair and a pair of earphones over his head, like he was listening to music.
He saw a muscular boy with huge lips talking to a skinny boy with black hair and pointed teeth. Behind them was a handsome blond-haired boy with a large tail protruding from his back. He then noticed a boy with white and red hair, a large burn scar over his left eye seated behind them.
Just then, an athletic boy with spikey red hair walked in alongside a girl with pink-skin, fluffy pink hair, black sclerae and yellow irises and a pair of yellow horns on her head walked in. The pair seemed to be staring at something out in the hallway.
That's when Izuku heard it. The familiar loud voice of someone shouting.
"DAMN HOBO-BASTARD! GET OUT OF MY WAY!"
'Yup. He's here.' Izuku thought.
Everyone in the class just looked on an angry-looking, spikey-haired blond boy with red eyes walked in and glared at everyone.
"What The Fuck You Looking At?" he shouted at everyone.
That's when he saw him.
"YOU!" he said as he made a beeline for Izuku. "What the Hell are you doing here, damned Deku!" He lunged for Izuku, who pushed both Tenya and Ochaco out of the way before Katsuki grabbed him by his jacket collar and shoved him against the wall. "You Damn Cheater! How The Hell Did You Get Into This School?! You Don't Have A Quirk! So You Must Have Cheated! Tell Me Right Now Or I'm Gonna Kill You!"
Izuku just looked at Katsuki, not the least bit intimidated as he was used to his antics. (That and having the Courage of Mehen helped)
"There's No Way You Got A Higher Score Than Me! You Must Have Cheated! Tell Me Right Now Or..."
"Or you're going to kill me? Are you sure you're supposed to be in the Hero Course, Bakugo?" Izuku asked.
"You Trying To Make Me Mad?" he growled.
"I don't have to try. You're always mad, Bakugo." Izuku said simply. "You really should see a therapist."
"That's It! After the shitty few months I've had, You're Gonna... Huh?" Katsuki gasped when he tried to ignite his quirk in his hand, but found it wasn't working. "What the..?"
"Let Him Go, Bakugo!" a new voice said as all eyes turned towards a skinny man with long bloack hair and glowing red eyes, his own hair seeming to float around him. There was a yellow sleeping bag behind him. "Now, Bakugo, or I'll expel right here and now!"
Katsuki looked at the hobo-man from the hallway even as he released Izuku and backed away.
"Who The Fuck Are You? What Did You Do To Me?"
"Shota Aizawa, your homeroom teacher. And I simply erased your quirk." he said as his eyes stopped glowing.
"Urk!" he gasped when he heard that.
"Not a great first impression, son. Now, everyone, sit down in your seats!" he said calmly.
Everyone sat down in their assigned seats, as Aizawa stood in front of the classroom.
"As I said, I am Shota Aizawa and I'll be your Hero Class 1-A homeroom teacher. You all are here because you want to be future Pro-Heroes. And right now I have to say, you are off to a bad start." he said, glaring at Bakugo. "Just know that I have the authority to expel any one of you if you get out of line."
He pulled out something from the desk, which looked like a white and blue gym uniform.
"Each of you have one of these in your desk. Take them out, get changed, and meet me outside on the training field. We're going to take an assessment test."
"Huh? Now? But... what about Orientation?" Ochaco asked, raising her hand.
"You can't waste time on pointless ceremony. Here at U.A. we are allowed to run our classes as we see fit. Now, get changed!"
The class of 20 immediately jumped into action.
Once they were dressed in their gym uniforms, they were all outside on the training field where Aizawa was waiting for them.
"Listen up! We're going to be taking a Quirk Assessment Test to gauge just how much control you have over your quirks. Midoriya!"
"Umm, yes?" the green-haired boy replied.
"You got the highest score on the Entrance Exam, so... you will go first. Step up!" he said.
The green-haired boy stepped up to the teacher as Aizawa tossed him a mechanical ball.
"I want you to throw this ball as far as you can, using your quirk. Anything goes just stay in the circle."
Izuku stepped into the white circle that was painted on the ground and looked at the ball in his hand.
'Okay. Here we go.' he thought as he realized that this would be when he revealed himself to everyone in class. He knew the school knew about his 'special status' as All Might had said. Now it was time for his classmates to know.
'Now we're gonna see your secret, you dirty cheater.' Bakugo mentally grinned.
"Shazam." Izuku said as a bolt of lightning suddenly slammed into him.
The blast kicked up dust as everyone briefly looked away. When they looked back, they saw Izuku, though he seemed older and more muscular, dressed in a dark green bodysuit with a white cape flowing behind him.
Ochaco gasped when she saw him.
"It's Him!" she gasped.
"Him?" the girl with the black ponytail, Momo Yaoyorozu, asked.
"He... saved me... during the Entrance Exam." Ochaco explained.
Izuku gripped the mechanical ball, reached back, and hurled it as hard as he could.
The sound of a sonic boom was heard, several times, as the ball flew at fantastic speed, into the air and towards the sky.
Everyone gasped as they saw, and heard, that. a couple were knocked off their feet.
Even Bakugo was shocked.
Aizawa looked at the app on his phone, his eyebrows arching up when the ball kept going.
He blinked as he looked at the phone again, and it showed an '8' lying on it's side. The symbol for Infinity. Aizawa turned the screen towards them.
"INFINITY?" the group of teens gasped when they saw the screen.
"Looks like you put that ball into orbit, Midoriya. I think it's still going." the teacher said with a lazy smirk. "Looks like you pass this test."
Everyone was shocked at what had just happened. Bakugo, of course, was pissed.
"YOU FUCKING CHEATER!" he shouted as he raced towards the green-haired man. "YOU TELL ME WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON OR I'M GONNA URK!"
He paused when he felt something wrap around his head and pull him off his feet. He looked back and saw that Aizawa's scarf was wrapped around his head.
"What the hell is this thing?" Bakugo shouted as he struggled against the gray scarf.
"It's a capture weapon made of steel wire and carbon nanofibers." Aizawa said as he pulled the boy across the ground away from Izuku. "That's Two, Bakugo." he said simply.
"Two? Two What?"
"Yes, Two! As in Two Strikes! One more, and you're out of the Hero Course, and if I deem it, U.A. as well."
Bakugo snarled at the man. This was totally unfair!
"When was the first strike?" he asked.
"Back in the classroom when you physically assaulted and threatened one of your classmates."
Bakugo growled at that as he stared at Izuku.
'This Is All Your Fault, Deku!' he mentally hissed.
"Everyone Get Set! You'll be participating in ten different exercises to test out your quirks. And I want to see you push yourselves to your limits. I want you to go beyond. Plus Ultra, like the school model says."
"All right! Using our quirks without holding back!" Kaminari shouted.
"This is gonna be fun!" Ashido said happily.
"And just so you know... the person who comes in last in these test... will be expelled."
That got everyone's attention.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
(Bakugo POV)
Bakugo was pissed. Which was nothing unusual. But at seeing his former childhood friend and victim on several occasions surpassing him in every test was pushing the boys blood pressure through the roof.
'How the hell is he doing this? Where did he get this power? It's not like any quirk I've ever seen!' he thought to himself. 'And why does he look different?'
That was another thing that annoyed Bakugo. Izuku was wearing a superhero costume, while everyone else had to wear their gym uniform. Aizawa, however, didn't seem to be all that upset.
Izuku had surpassed everyone in every test. Especially him.
The 50-meter dash, Deku's time was 0.01 seconds.
Standing long jump, Deku cleared the entire sand pit with ease.
Grip strength, Deku actually broke the measuring device.
Repeated Side-Steps, Deku came in second behind that boy with the purple balls on his head, who used his balls like a bumper cushion to bounce between them. No one else came relatively close.
Seated Toe-Touch, Deku got more than anyone.
Sit-Ups, Deku surpassed everyone.
Endurance Race, Deku was ahead of everyone, he didn't even seem winded.
Pull-ups, which Deku also excelled at over everyone, even him.
Push-Ups, Deku blew everyone away by doing more than anyone else.
If Bakugo had bothered to think about it, most of their quirks were ill-suited for these exercises.
But it was the ball throw that really pissed Bakugo off.
Apparently Deku and that girl with the round face got Infinity, while he only managed to get 700 meters going all out with his quirk.
At the end of the whole thing, Bakugo got fifth place behind Deku and a handful of other students, such as the girl with the black ponytail and the tall boy with the glasses.
Deku was Number 1, while he was Number 5. How the hell had that happened?
Bakugo's own quirk was more versatile than anyone elses. He could move faster, hit harder and blow up anything he aimed at. He could practically fly as well/ How had he come in so far behind that loser?
And just where had the Deku gotten this power? It wasn't like anything he had ever seen before. Even All Might wasn't this powerful.
Or was he?
He was so distracted by all this thinking, he didn't hear what Aizawa-sensei was saying.
"I lied. I'm not going to expel anyone." Aizawa said.
"HUH?" the class balked.
"It was a logical deception to make you all want to try your hardest."
At hearing that, the purple-haired boy collapsed in relief.
"I'm not going to be expelled!" the grape-headed boy cried happily.
However, Bakugo wasn't concerned about that. His focus was on Deku, who had somehow changed back to his regular form, in a flash of lightning. What the hell was that about?
It was pissing him off more and more, and he wanted answers.
"We're done for the day. Everyone pick up a syllabus off my desk on your way out." Aizawa said as he turned and walked away.
Bakugo looked on as Deku was surrounded by half the class who kept asking him question after question about his quirk.
All he managed to hear was that it was magic and that was it.
'Magic'? What the hell did that mean?
His own life had been hell the last few months. He had been able to get away with so much crap, like hurting Deku whenever he wanted, and no one had cared. He was quirkless, and the quirkless didn't matter.
Somehow the balance had shifted, as if overnight, and Bakugo was beyond frustrated by that.
'I'm Gonna Get To The Bottom Of This, Right Now!' he thought as he headed back to the classroom.
He knew he couldn't attack Deku on school grounds, so he would wait for him outside.
However, that plan backfired, when he noticed that tall glasses-wearing boy and the girl with the round face walking next to him, talking like they were friends. If he made a move now, they would surely rat him out.
So, he'd have to wait until he got home.
'I'll just follow Deku home and...' he paused in thought at what would happen if 'Aunt Inko' found out about his questioning Deku. She might tell his mom, and that would be even worse. 'Wait! Maybe Aunt Inko knows something about this.' he thought. 'But when would be a good time to ask her about it?' he thought, before he pulled out his phone and called a number. "Mom? Yeah, yeah, everything is fine! Look! I need Aunt Inko's number! Don't ask why, just tell me!" he snapped.
Once he had the number he immediately called Inko Midoriya.
"Hello?"
"Hi. Aunt Inko?"
"Oh, Katsuki. How are you doing?" the woman politely asked.
"Fine, fine. I needed to ask you a question."
"Okay. What question?"
"What's Deku's quirk?"
"Deku? Who's Deku?"
"Uh... I mean Izuku."
"Oh. I see. Well, I can't really tell you that. It's a secret." she said, not noticing her tone had changed.
"Come on! He's been quirkless his whole life! And he suddenly shows up with all this power! Where did he get his quirk? It's not yours or his dad's, so where did he get it?"
"It's Izuku's secret to tell, not mine. And he asked me not to tell anyone, because it's a private matter and I have to respect that."
"But you do know."
"Of course. Izuku hides nothing from me. Unlike other people."
"What does that mean? Did... did he tell you about..."
"About what? About the injuries he got when he was younger? About the burn scars that look like hand-prints? He didn't have to tell me. I knew all along. It really is so cruel how some people treated my little boy just because he didn't have a quirk. But... things are different now. Aren't they, Katsuki?"
Bakugo wanted to scream.
"Yeah. They are. Thank you, Auntie." he said as he hung up.
That was less than helpful.
Whatever this was, it was a huge secret, and the only thing Bakugo was able to confirm was that Deku was quirkless, and now had power. So... where had he gotten it, and what was it? And why him? Why had he been given this new power, whatever it was?
Bakugo groaned in frustration even more. He would get to the bottom of this. Even if he had to get busted a third time and risk expulsion. He would find out Deku's secret, at any cost!

(U.A. High, the next day)
Izuku and the other students had to practically fight to get through a throngs of reporters who had amassed around the entrance of U.A., apparently looking for an interview with All Might.
Having found out that the Number 1 Pro-Hero was now a teacher at U.A., every reporter wanted to get an interview with him, what's more was that they were also bugging anyone with a U.A. school uniform about this.
Katsuki was the worst, as he threatened to blow up anyone who kept bugging him about this.
Something that was captured on cameras.
Izuku and the others made it to their classroom, and went through their usual routine.
Classes in the morning, such as English, Math and Science, even Art class, then lunch.
Then... it was time for their Foundational Heroics Classes. And Izuku knew what that meant.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
(Class 1-A)
"I Am Coming Through The Door, Like A Normal Person!" All Might declared as he stepped into the room, wearing his red and blue Silver Age costume.
The rest of the students were impressed at seeing All Might there, live and in-person.
Izuku was smiling widely at seeing his personal hero, which didn't surprised Katsuki who kept glaring at Izuku out of the corner of his eye.
"Greetings, young future heroes! Today is your first day of Foundational Hero Training." he said with his typical dramatic flare. "But the first step to being a hero... is to look like one!" he said as he pulled out a small remote and pressed the red button on the top. The wall next to the group opened up as 20 cases emerged from the wall. "Each of these cases contain your hero suits, that were specially created for you based on your submitted designs prior to your joining U.A. Put them on and meet me at Testing Site B."
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
(Testing Site B, U.A.)
Izuku remembered this place. The city where he had taken his Entrance Exam.
Izuku himself was wearing a green bodysuit with black metal leggings, red reinforced shoes, white gloves and a red belt with pouches on his waist.
It was a simple suit, specially created for protection as well as easy movement. He didn't need this suit, since he had his other suit once he transformed into his power form, as he liked to call it. (Which was much like All Might did at times) But he figured he might need one just in case.
"Wow! So that's your other suit?" a familiar voice piped up.
Izuku turned and gasped when he saw a familiar Ochaco Uraraka, dressed in a skin-tight pink and black suit with a matching helmet and round gauntlets with handles, chunky, knee-high boots, and a two-piece belt with a round buckle. It showed off her rather athletic body.
"Uh, yeah. My alternate suit." he said. "And... that's your suit?" he asked.
"Yeah. It's a little more skin-tight than I expected it to be." she said with a blush.
"And you are early as well." another voice said.
The pair looked over and saw Momo Yaoyorozu walk up to them, the young woman wearing a bright crimson sleeveless leotard which exposed a generous amount of skin, two gold utility belts around her waist and a pair of calf-high high-heeled boots.
"Yeah, my outfit wasn't as hard to put on as I thought." Izuku said.
"Most of our outfits weren't that hard to put on." Another voice said. "Mashirao Ojiro." the blond boy with the large tail introduced himself.
"Hello." the trio stated.
The rest of the students began showing up, each wearing their own uniquely created costumes.
Some of the 'costumes' looked like regular outfits. If the ones Kyoko Jiro and Denki Kaminari wore were any indication. Denki wore a pair of black pants and matching jacket with a white t-shirt, that had lightning bolt designs on it, and a pair of blue sunglasses over his eyes. Jiro was wearing a black jacket, matching pants, thick black boots, a pink t-shirt, and a headband over her head.
Rather casual look for a pair of future heroes.
Izuku saw the bird-headed boy, Fumikage Tokoyami, wearing a black cloak over his body. He saw the boy named Hanta Sero wearing a black, white and yellow costume, with a helmet that looked like a tape dispenser. He also noticed the strange-looking elbows the boy had, which were exposed thanks to his hero suit, unlike his U.A. uniform which covered up his elbows.
He then saw a pair of large boys walk out. One wearing a red and yellow outfit with a mask over his rock-like face, the other wearing a full-body yellow suit with white gloves and boots.
This was Koji Koda and Rikido Sato.
He then saw three more people emerge from the tunnel.
A pink-haired girl wearing a purple and turquoise skin-tight bodysuit with a camouflage pattern, a white mask over her eyes and a a fluffy collar on her suit, along with black boots. He saw a girl with green hair in a green and black bodysuit with white gloves and goggles on her head. They were joined by a red-haired boy with black pants and boots, a red pair of gears on his shoulders and an exposed chest with arm sleeves, and a mask over his face.
This was Mina Ashido, Tsuyu Asui and Eijiro Kirishima.
He then saw a pair of Knights walking out of the tunnel.
The first was a blond-haired boy with large red glasses, a flamboyant blue cape, silver armor and boots and pair of black pants.
The other knight was taller, decked out head-to-toe in white and gray armor, helmet over his head, no cape, and he had set of exhaust pipes coming out of his legs.
This was Yuga Aoyama and Tenya Iida.
Then came a tall boy with silver hair, wearing a light blue and dark blue bodysuit that exposed his six-arms, along with dark blue boots and belt around his waist.
He was walking behind a pair of floating pair of blue gloves and white shoes, and nothing in between.
Then came the boy with white and red hair, wearing a plain off-white shirt with matching pants and boots, with two gold-colored straps going over his shoulders. He has what appears to be a material resembling ice covering his whole left side, even his head.
This was Mezo Shoji, Toru Hagakure, and Shoto Todoroki.
The last two boys were the short boy with the purple balls on his head, dressed in a purple shirt with a yellow scarf, yellow boots and gloves, and a large metal diaper on his waist. This was Minoru Mineta.
The last one was Katsuki Bakugo, wearing a dark green tank top, cargo pants, red and black boots, a large orange X going across his chest, a metal neck brace, and a pair of grenade-like gauntlets on both wrists.
"Ah. Good! You're all here!" All Might declared as the twenty students finally arrived. "They say clothes make the Pros, ladies and gentlemen! And behold, you are the proof!"
The group looked at each other, fully taking in all their classmates appearances.
"Now, let's begin!" All Might said. "The scenario is: you all will be divided up into teams of two, and divided even more into Heroes and Villains to fight two-on-two indoor battles."
"Excuse me! But... isn't this a little advanced? Shouldn't we be doing basic training first?" Tsuyu asked.
"Experience is the best teacher, so I'll be moving you two steps ahead. Now, statistically speaking, most battles take place indoors instead of out in public. Think about it. Back room deals, secret hideouts, underground lairs. Villains are successful because no one knows where they are or what they are doing. They don't go about announcing their plans and they stay out of the public eye as much as possible. And such is the case here. The Villains teams job will be to protect a bomb somewhere in a designated building. The Heroes teams will attempt to retrieve the bomb and/or stop and capture the Villains. You will have five minutes of prep-time, and then ten minutes to fulfill the mission. The Villains win if they keep the bomb from the Heroes, and the Heroes win if they capture both Villains or capture the bomb. Any questions?"
"Will our teams be chosen at random or can we choose them ourselves?" Tenya asked.
"Can we use our quirks to hurt the other team?" Bakugo asked.
"Will we be graded on style or quirk-usage?" Momo asked.
"Are the rest of us going to be outside the building watching and wait, or are we going to be in some other place during the test?" Ochaco asked.
"Is this cape chic or what?" Aoyama asked.
"URK! One At A Time, People!" All Might huffed in annoyance. "Your teams will be chosen randomly. You can use your quirks as much as possible, but try not to hurt anyone. This is training, after all. Yes, you will not be graded on how you use your quirks but you will be critiqued. The two teams will be on-site while the rest will be in the observation room with yours truly. And yes, it's a very chic cape." he quickly answered.
Everyone could barely remember what they asked.
"Now... let's get to the ... DRAWING OF LOTS!"
Team A - Izuku Midoriya and Ochaco Uraraka.
Team B - Momo Yaoyorozu and Tsuyu Asui
Team C - Mina Ashido and Eijiro Kirishima
Team D - Katsuki Bakugo and Tenya Iida
Team E - Shoto Todoroki and Mezo Shoji
Team F - Mashirao Ojiro and Toru Hagakure
Team G - Kyoka Jiro and Denki Kaminari
Team H - Koji Koda and Fumikage Tokoyami
Team I - Hanta Sero and Rikido Sato
Team J - Minoru Mineta and Yuga Aoyama
"And now that that is done... we will begin with... Team A vs Team D!" All Might shouted as he pulled two balls out of a ballot-like box.

(Site B Monitoring Room)
All Might had gathered the rest of the students in the monitoring room while the other four students went inside.
Bakugo and Iida were already inside the building, while Midoriya and Uraraka were outside.
The group was listening in at the two teams prepared.
(Inside the building)
"So... paper-mache bomb. That's to be expected." Tenya said. "So... what plan should we come up with?"
"Fuck that! I'm going to attack that little punk as soon as the exercise starts." Bakugo snapped.
"That's not a plan. Our job is to protect the bomb and make sure the Heroes can't get it."
"Do what you want. I'm gonna do my own thing!" Bakugo snarled. "I'm gonna get answers out of that useless nerd one way or another!"
At hearing that, All Might realized just what answers Bakugo was looking for.
During his time as mentor to the green-haired boy, he quickly came to understand just how much the boy, the quirkless boy, had been bullied by a good many people. He was actually amazed he wasn't as bitter about it as he should have been.
Apparently Bakugo was one of them. Which also meant two things: that Bakugo had been allowed to get away with a lot when he was younger, and the only reason he was being allowed into U.A. was the hope that he could be turned into a better person/hero.
Or did anyone know about Bakugo's behavior beforehand?
He would need to talk to Nezu about this later.
(Outside the building)
"So... what do you think we should do?" Ochaco asked.
"Bakugo will come for me. When that happens, I'll distract him so that you can go and find the bomb. Iida will be guarding it, you will have to be careful. He's incredibly fast. I'll join you as soon as I can." Izuku said.
"Are you sure? I mean... you're sure Bakugo will come after you?"
"He will. I know him very well, and he's not the kind to just sit around and wait for someone to come for him. He'll be itching to fight me. I'm sure of it."
"You... two have a history or something?"
"Yeah. But... it's not my place to tell. And... this time... this time will be different." he said with a smile.
He then held up the white capture tape that All Might had given them. This would be another option to use in capturing the Villains. He vaguely wondered if Bakugo would accept that if he was wrapped up in the white tape.
'Guess we'll find out.' he thought.
All Might heard that, but he was confident that Midoriya could handle it. After all, he wasn't a quirkless child anymore. He now had the power of the Gods on his side.
"Five Minutes Is Up! Being Exercise!" All Might shouted into the mic.
"SHAZAM!" Izuku said as he transformed.
Now... the real show began.

Izuku lead Ochaco in through the front door of the building, navigating through the dark hallways that seemed more like a maze than anything else.
In truth, he was keeping himself between Ochaco and Bakugo, whom he knew was going to attack them as soon as he could.
"So, where is he?" Ochaco asked.
"He should be here... any second now." Izuku said.
"RAAAAHHHHH!"
Bakugo suddenly jumped out from around the corner and hurled one of his explosions at the pair.
However, he suddenly found himself tossed down an adjacent hallway, his explosion seemingly deflected away from the pair.
"What the... huh?" he gasped as he felt himself falling through the air and crash landing on the ground like a ragdoll.
Izuku had used his super speed to move fast enough to not only deflect the explosion but also grab a hold of Bakugo and toss him away from himself and Ochaco.
"I'll deal with him. You go find the bomb." he said to Ochaco.
"Okay." the girl said as she rushed up the stairs.
Izuku looked at Bakugo as the angry youth got to his feet.
"I can end this in any number of ways, Bakugo." Izuku said. "I'm willing to be generous and let you surrender... but I know you won't."
"You Damn Right I Won't! Don't You Look Down On Me, Deku!"
"If I'm looking down on you... it's only because I'm taller now."
"I wanna know where you got this power! NOW TELL ME!"
"Say 'please' and ask my nicely."
"FUCK YOU!"
Bakugo roared as he hurled explosion after explosion at Izuku. The chosen of Black Adam just stood there and took each of the blasts.

(Monitoring Room)
Everyone was just staring at the screen as Bakugo continued to wail on Midoriya.
"Damn!" Kirishima gasped.
"Shouldn't you stop this?" Tsuyu asked All Might.
"Not to worry. Young Midoriya can handle this." All Might said casually, knowing full well that even Bakugos explosions wouldn't hurt him that much. Not while he was in his power form.
Bakugo's explosions weren't magic, after all.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
"RAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Bakugo shouted as he continued to throw explosions left and right at Izuku, who just continued to take the hits.
He paused briefly as he felt exhausted overusing his quirk so much.
The smoke began to clear and Bakugo gasped when he saw that Izuku was completely unharmed.
His suit was smoking a little, but otherwise he looked like he hadn't even been bothered by the multiple attacks.
"What the...?" Bakugo gasped.
("Five Minutes Remaining!") All Might said over the speakers.
"I'm asking you again, Bakugo, to surrender."
"I don't surrender! Not when I've got my ultimate move!" he said as he raised his gauntlets up. "These gauntlets of mine aren't just for show. They store up my sweat, so that when I need to release them all at once... all I have to do it pull the pin... and BOOM!"
"Don't do it, Bakugo."
"DIE!" Bakugo shouted as he released his gauntlets and blasted the entire corridor with his explosive quirk.
The entire hallway was illuminated with Bakugo's quirk, blasting several walls, doors and even the outer walls of the building.
WABOOM!
The entire building shook as the blast destroyed several walls and doors in an instant.
Everyone in the Monitoring Room looked shocked at Bakugo's display of power. Most of them were shocked when they didn't see Midoriya anywhere in front of the angry Pomeranian.
Bakugo was just smiling widely, a crazed victorious expression on his face.
CLAP, CLAP, CLAP!
Bakugo gasped when the smoke a dust finally cleared and a tall, green-garbed stood up from a large amount of rubble and debris in the room.
"That's impressive. Your blast dropped a lot of debris on me after it blew a hole in the building. Thank the Gods I've got this power, otherwise, I might be dead." Izuku said.
He then started walking towards a still stunned Bakugo.
"You hit me right in the chest, Bakugo. Definitely felt it. And I'm curious." he said as he stopped right in front of the angry and confused blond. "Were you trying to kill me, or were you hoping I might dodge out of the way?"
Bakugo just looked up at the now taller man.
"How the..."
"You're lucky I'm stronger now than I was, otherwise... you'd probably have killed me. And you would not only be out of U.A., but in prison as well. " Izuku said with a smile. "Oh, and one more thing."
("Bakugo Has Been Captured!") All Might said over the speakers.
"Huh?" Bakugo gasped.
"Look at your wrists." Izuku said as he pointed to the boys gauntlets.
Bakugo looked down at his wrists and gasped when he noticed white capture tape wrapped around both of his wrists. BOTH of them!
"What the... how did... when did...?"
"I'm faster now too."
Izuku then walked away from the still confused blond as he just stared at his hands.
Izuku swiftly moved through the building, to the top floor, where Ochaco and Tenya were staring at each other.
They looked at Izuku who had just arrived.
"Izuku! What was that explosion? Was it Bakugo? It shook the entire building!" Ochaco asked.
"Yes, it was. But I took care of it. Now... we need to take care of the bomb, and the villain." Izuku said as he swiftly moved towards Tenya, grabbing him under the arms and putting him into a full nelson wrestling hold.
"What the...?!" Tenya shouted as he stuggled in Izuku's grip.
"Get the bomb!" he shouted to Ochaco.
"Oh! Right!" Ochaco gasped as she raced over to the bomb and touched it.
("HERO TEAM WINS") All Might shouted over the speaker.

(Monitoring Room)
"And Tenya was all like, 'I Must Embrace Villainy! WA-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha!' When he did the laugh, I couldn't hold it in." Ochaco said with a smile.
"I was trying to be serious!" Tenya said.
"Yeah, too serious! You just came off like some comic book super villain on a Saturday morning cartoon show."
"Anyway, after that I kept moving the bomb around the room to that Ochaco couldn't get it, and then the explosion happened, and then we heard that Bakugo had been captured. And after Midoriya had me in a headlock... well, I knew it was over." Tenya said.
"You All Did Splendid!" All Might said.
It was then that Izuku noticed Bakugo in the corner of the room, sulking.
'This won't end well.' Izuku thought.
He didn't need the Wisdom of Zehuti to know what Katsuki was going to do. His experience with the angry blond had proven that much.
It was only thanks to the wisdom he had gained from Zehuti (courtesy of Black Adam) that Izuku finally understood just how badly messed up he was. Both himself, and Katsuki.
Katsuki's problem was anger and pride, while Izuku's problem was a much more psychological disparity. He was able to identify it as a kind of Imposter Syndrome or even Stockholm Syndrom.
At any rate, Izuku didn't hate Katsuki. A part of him wanted to help Katsuki, but another part of him knew that their relationship was too far gone to be repaired.
Katsuki had been praised all his life. His 'amazing' quirk had had so much praise heaped upon him, and from a young age, that he had gotten a swollen head about the whole thing.
He thought he could do no wrong, and had so many people on his side whenever he did something. Anything. Even though they were wrong. Like hurting people. Like hurting Izuku.
Katsuki was a bully, and had used his quirk like a bully, and been allowed to get away with it.
Only now he was facing the harsh reality that he couldn't get away with it as easily as he used to. That his quirk wasn't as powerful as some others. Which only meant that he wasn't as powerful as he thought he was. And that hurt him more than anything else.
And it was a hurt he would not let go unavenged.
"All Right Then! Let's have our next two teams report to the battle zone!" All Might declared as he called out the next two teams.

While Izuku was diligently taking notes on his classmates and their quirks and how they used them, Katsuki was sitting in the back of the room just glaring at the green-haired boy.
He was trying to figure out how he had beaten him. How he had gotten so powerful. But the obvious solution kept evading him.
There was some piece missing. A piece he didn't know about. But what? What was it?
Then he remembered. It had all started with that guy in the black outfit who had taken Deku away from the shopping center after the Sludge Villain incident.
A guy with power that seemed almost like All Might.
But what was his name? Who was he? Where did he come from? Where had his quirk come from?
Katsuki wasn't a fool or an idiot, but he didn't even know where to start with this. Who was this guy and why did he take Deku away? Katsuki had dismissed the whole thing as unimportant. But now... now it was very important. It had to be how the useless Deku had gotten his powers.
Immediately he started looking up the Sludge Villain incident on his phone, trying to figure out who this guy was. A name would help.
While everyone else was paying attention to the Two-On-Two battles that were going on, Katsuki was trying to figure out who this man in black was.
He only found one video of the man in black picking up Deku and flying away with him from Tatooin Station.
That... was no help at all to him.
He needed a name on this guy.
But it wasn't going to be easy. He couldn't force Deku to tell him. Somehow, he had gotten stronger and bolder. He wasn't afraid of him like he used to be.
That, and he already had two strikes against him. He was sure U.A. wasn't playing around.
And he sure as hell wasn't going to ask nicely. That just wasn't him.
No, Katsuki would have to be sneakier than his usual self. He was going to have to spy on Deku as much as he could.
Deku would slip up, and when he did...
Then what?
Katsuki had no idea, but he would have to figure it out when he did.

Classes were done for the day, and Izuku was headed out back home. He was no longer in his power form and in a way it felt good.
Uraraka and Tenya had joined him, along the way to the train station, and they had been joined by two others. Tsuyu Asui the frog girl and Mashirao Ojiro the tail boy.
Katsuki was annoyed at this as he watched Deku go. His circle of friends was expanding, which was shocking in of itself. Deku had never had friends before. And it pissed him off that everything was changing like this.
He noticed several of the other Class 1-A students walking away together.
Ponytail and Pinky, along with the Invisible Girl seemed to be getting along.
Shitty Hair and Sparkplug were talking to each other as they left.
Fat Lips and Rockhead were headed out together.
Earlobes and Six-Arms were walking together, chattering about something, he didn't know or care.
And then there was that Half-and-Half bastard who seemed to be alone.
Not that Katsuki cared.
He didn't care about having friends like he did when he was younger, or when he was at Aldera. They weren't useful at all, so why would he need them now?

(Musutafu Airport)
("Passengers from International Flight 619 from Kahndaq, please pick up you luggage at Terminal 6.") the announcer spoke over the intercom.
The group of four from Kahndaq picked up their luggage and headed to the curbside to catch a cab, The group consisted of two men and two women.
"I still think this is a bad idea, Sirocco." one of the women said.
"Come now, Bastet. You are as curious as I am. And just as anxious to find this successor to Black Adam." the first man said.
"But for a different reason than yourself." the woman said. "Besides, we should still be in Kahndaq."
"She's right, Sirocco." the other man said. "Black Adam left us to defend Kahndaq and for whatever reason he came here, we have to respect that."
"Really, Geb? And you're not the least bit curious as to why he came here of all places to give his powers away? I am curious to see just who he gave them to. And to see if they are worthy." Sirocco said.
"Are you sure that's the only reason?" the other woman asked.
"What do you mean. Mirage?" Sirocco asked.
"I don't have to be psychic to know there is another reason you dragged us here." she said.
"I would have brought the entirety of the Kahndaqian Pro-Heroes here if I could. But a small force was enough for this mission." he said. 'Because that is all I could convince.'
"And what exactly is our mission?" she asked, wanting to be clear.
"To determine if this successor is worthy. And if not... to take back the power and properly return it to the people of Kahndaq."
The trio looked at each other and then to Sirocco, wondering what his true intention was. This whole thing was sending up red flags in their minds. But they were curious enough to accompany him here, so they let it sit for now.
Curious enough to know who it was that Black Adam had chosen as his successor. And most importantly... why?

Authors Notes:
Another chapter finished!
Been working on this on and off for a while. But... here it is, my third chapter, and the next one will see the attack on the USJ.
A lot of this chapter is Katsuki stewing in his anger at everything that had been happening to him over the last few months. His actions are going to land him in hot water, and it is reaching a boiling point already.
I can tell you, it won't end well for him.
While Izuku might want to help Katsuki, there is only two ways for this to go, and worst-case scenario, it will end badly for the angry blond boy. He has villain potential, and that's kinda what I'm leaning towards.
And now we see a group of Kahndaqian heroes have come to Japan searching for Black Adams successor.
And there will be a reason Black Adam came to Japan to pick his successor. But that won't be for a while. So, enjoy this for now.
Read and Review.
