Episode 26
The Dawn of a New Hunt
Tom: Ah, yes. With the college semester starting, we're getting into gear with even more work to do; even if it's one class.
Sara: You're right, Tom. Don't forget, even if TimPrime1 is taking one class. He's going to have to place out a great deal of concentration.
Tom: We all know that, especially with how statistics was for him last time. This time, however, will be very different. Primarily since he's taking it in the classroom and online. Sometimes it's hard to find the easier path to make things easier on you in life.
Sara: You're right, Tom. Just got to find that right area to where you can make things work out. As for right now, we're ready to broadcast.
Tom: Right on time. Kick it. *hits the touch screen buttons*

About four days have passed since the Princess Festival and Gary was now in Sinnoh at the spot he was sent to investigate. Yet, when he had arrived, he was horrified at what he had seen. Even the other scientists were wondering how this could have happened. They saw statue bodies in a type on concrete, very similar to what had happened a while ago. Gary had a strong feeling as to who had done this, especially from the uniforms they were wearing.
These were Hunter J's henchmen. Gary looked at them in a very shocked and horrified expression. The last time he saw them, they were on Hunter J's ship when it went down. Yet, very surprisingly enough. They had somehow managed to survive, but they were in a frozen state.
Gary was still very mortified to see this, and he still wondered how this could happen. "How! How did this even happen?" he questioned them.
One of the scientists was still hovering a device over one of the statues, trying to get some type of reading off of it. "None of us are for sure sir." He started to explain.
"We were told that someone spotted these statues and thought they should be reported." A female scientist added.
Gary continued to inspect them until he saw one with a ready pokeball. "Huh?" he questioned. He crouched down and looked at it, seeing the finger was about a millimeter away from the button. "From what I can tell. They were about ready to defend themselves." He told them before he got back up.
"Not only that sir, but we have a key witness." The same male scientist informed him. Gary looked intent on wanting to meet this person, so they took him to where this person was.
He had arrived at the police station where not only Officer Jenny, but two other officers escorted him through the building. "I'm glad you managed to arrive here. This witness had told us everything and we believe it to be the truth." She told Gary. "Not only that, but surprisingly enough. She surrendered and wanted to come to jail." Officer Jenny informed Gary.
Gary was very intrigued about what had occurred and needed to hear if his own suspicions can be confirmed. Yet, the person they had was a female. This definitely surprised him as Hunter J only had male henchmen. "From what I understand, this person knows a lot about what has happened. Yet, why did she want this?" Gary questioned.
"It's from our understanding, she wanted protection." One of the officers informed Gary.
This confused Gary. "Protection! From what?" Gary questioned.
"You'll find out in a minute." Officer Jenny told him as they came up to a door. She opened it and let Gary inside. Right after looking into the room, he was surprised to see the person was a female and she had messy purple hair. Gary stepped inside as Officer Jenny let him in. "We'll be right outside if you need anything." She told him before she closed the door.
Gary went up to the female witness who was definitely dressed in the same uniform as the other henchmen. He cautiously sat in front of her, still increasingly surprised. They stared at each other for what felt like minutes.
"I take it that…" "Yes. I worked for Hunter J, but after the Lake incident." She told him straight up. This surprised Gary as he didn't expect her to speak. "If you're also wondering, I know so much that went down, weeks after." She told him.
"What-what else do you know?" Gary questioned.
This is where things took a very interesting turn. "I have information on Hunter J and what she plans on doing." The female stated.

The day after the festival, many coordinators were getting ready. It was still fairly early, yet Dawn, May, Max, Kenny, Serena and those were up. Serena and Dawn were getting ready while May and Molly assisted them as the boys waited for them so they could get breakfast. It wasn't long until the girls came out and the boys saw them.
"You four ready?" Drew asked.
"We are." May replied, but Serena looked around. "Huh? What is it, Serena?" May asked.
"Where's Ash and Misty at? I thought they'd be awake by now." Serena replied.
"They're probably still asleep. I don't blame them either. Yesterday took it out of many of us." Kenny replied.
"As for right now. Let's get some breakfast." Dawn told them. With that, they all departed for the cafeteria.
With Ash and Misty, they were still asleep. Misty had her arm wrapped around Ash's body and her head on his chest with a smile as she breathed very calmly. Ash had his arm wrapped around Misty instinctively, but he turned over, Misty still holding onto him, her head began resting on his back. It wasn't long until she began to stir and she got up slightly before looking down at him. She gave off a very soft and loving smile before bending over to kiss his cheek.
"Good morning, my prince." She whispered into his ear. From there she got up and went into the bathroom to brush her teeth and get herself ready. She managed to change out of her clothes, including her pajama underwear, take a nice warm shower, and get into her clothes.
As she was, Ash managed to wake up and noticed that Misty was already up. He went over to the bathroom, heard a brushing sound and caught a glimpse of Misty as she was brushing her teeth. He smiled as he went in there as she was beginning to rinse, and wrapped his arms around her waist. This caught her attention as she looked into the mirror and smiled at him.
She gave off a small giggle. "Morning Ash." She said to him.
"Morning Mist." He replied.
She turned around and placed her hands on his chest. "I hope you're ready." She told him.
"About am. Just gotta take care of a few things." He told her.
"Gotcha." She replied before kissing his cheek and getting out of the bathroom with her stuff.
Ash managed to get a shower and brush his teeth before getting dressed and meeting up with Misty. "Ready when you are." He told her. She smiled at him and took his arm and they both headed down the hall to join up with the others. In the cafeteria, many of them were having a good breakfast. Ash and Misty grabbed their breakfast and joined up with their other friends: May, Drew, Dawn, Kenny, Max, Molly, Serena and Calem.
"Hope you two are ready for the contest today." Ash said to them.
"I know I'm ready." Dawn replied to Ash.
"I'm definitely ready for today." Serena replied.
"I hope you both are. Because the competition is tight." May reminded them.
"I'm sure they will be." Max replied to his sister.
"As for right now. What Pokémon are you going with for the contest?" Ash asked.
"I think I'll use Growlithe and Squirtle. Squirtle will be my opening and Growlithe will be in the battles." Serena told Ash.
"Sounds like a good combo to me." Dawn replied to Serena.
"You'll do great. Hope you both are registered." Misty said to them.
"Don't worry. Registration starts in about thirty minutes. The Pokémon Center is right across from here." May informed Misty.
It wasn't long until after breakfast, they all headed to the Pokémon Center. Dawn and Serena both signed up and put down their Pokémon of who they would be using. Dawn: Kirlia and Quilava. Serena: Squirtle and Growlithe. Misty's siters along with Tracey and Green arrived as well.
"Took you guys long enough. Where you three been?" Misty questioned.
"We, like, did a little more shopping." Violet told her with her eyes closed, a hand behind her head with a sweat drop.
"Even though the festival is over with. There was a store that still had some, like, discounts." Lily added.
Misty looked at Tracey and Green. "Hey, don't look at me. It wasn't my idea." Tracey told Misty.
"I only went to help Tracey real fast." Green told her.
"Oh boy. What am I going to do?" Misty remarked, pretty annoyed.
"Old habits, like, die hard." Daisy reminded her.
Kenny went up to them. "Everything is all set. The contest will be starting in about an hour." He told them.
"Best be ready. Although. I'm still not used to being in my regular clothes." Dawn told them.
"No need to worry about that. You'll do great as you are." May reminded Dawn.
"I'll admit. I'm not used to this either. Hopefully, after this, I can get more into the swing of contests." Serena told them.
"Don't forget. If you lose. Don't worry about it. Just keep your head held high and you'll come out on top down the line." Dawn told her.
"I still remember when you were very reluctant in attending contests after you lost one." Zoey recalled.
"Yeah!" Dawn recalled. "I felt like I wasn't good enough for a while." Dawn admitted.
May placed a hand on her shoulder. "Then you managed to regain it all after The Wallace Cup." She reminded her.
Dawn let out a giggle. "Yeah. That's been a while." Dawn admitted.
That's when Max noticed something. "Hey! Has anyone seen…" "GAAHHH!" this surprised them when they heard something very familiar. They looked over and saw Brock now being dragged off by Croagunk after he tried to flirt with another girl. "Well now. We know where Brock is." Max said with a sweat drop.
"He never does, like, learn. Does he?" Lily questioned.
"That's one thing that he needs to do. Otherwise. He'll never have a girlfriend." Misty stated.
Not long after that, everyone headed to the dressing rooms. Dawn and Serena were making sure they were all set with the assistance of the other girls. "Awe man!" Dawn exclaimed. "I know I wasn't too worried about my appearance in the first contest, but now I am." She remarked.
"Nothing to worry about. You got this." Misty reassured her.
"I strongly doubt it." Someone said. They all looked and saw Miette.
"Miette!" Serena exclaimed being very shocked seeing her there. "What-what are…" "What am I doing here? Don't you remember! I'm here to see you lose." She reminded her condescendingly.
"Much like how you lost yesterday!" someone else exclaimed. Miette looked over and saw Ursula.
"Why you…!" Miette stated as she glared at her.
"I strongly doubt you would win this. Much like yesterday you would lose." Ursula said in a very mocking way.
Miette glared at her. "You think you can beat me in a contest! I strongly doubt it." Miette told her. "I'm more watching to see Serena lose this one." She stated.
Ursula merely chuckled while smiling with her eyes closed and shaking her head lightly. "If you say so. If you were in this contest, you'd lose in the first round." Ursula told her, now giving off a sneer look.
"I'll take you on, but not at this contest." Miette told her. "It's already too late for me to enter, so I'll wait for another contest and I'll show you what I'm REALLY capable of." Miette retorted.
"We'll soon see." Ursula replied before she walked away. "Oh, and, by the way." Ursula began to finish before she looked back at her. "I saw you lose your first contest a while ago." She informed her before she looked over to Serena. "I'm surprised you didn't enter that one. You were probably too scared." Ursula mocked with a small smirk.
This got to Serena and she felt a bit hurt by that. "Now hold on!" May exclaimed. They looked to her. "Even though she didn't go through her contest, doesn't mean she was scared." May stated as she defended her.
"She didn't feel like she was fully ready, so we suggested she sit on the side lines to see how a contest is done." Dawn stated defensively as well.
Ursula merely chuckled. "Sounds like she was scared to me." She told them. "Anyone who doesn't have enough courage to go into their first contest doesn't deserve to be a coordinator, or a top coordinator." She finished before walking off.
The others just glared at her. "Don't listen to her." Ash told Serena. Serena looked at Ash as he watched Ursula walk off. "What all she said isn't even true. You all deserve a chance." Ash told her as he began to look at her.
"Ash is right." May told her. Serena looked to May. "I wasn't sure what I wanted to do until I found out about contests. Once I did, I stood on the sidelines to see what a contest was about." May told her.
"I held myself back after losing a few contests until I got my courage back." Dawn told her as well.
"We all know you can do it. Just have enough confidence and faith." Misty encouraged her.
Although very reluctant, Serena smiled and gave a nod while blinking. "Right. Understood." She replied to them, trying to remain confident.
After the hour had passed, Lilian was now on stage, getting ready to announce the first round the of the contest. "Welcome, one and all, to the O-Hina Pokémon contest." She announced to everyone in a very loud and cheerful tone. The audience roared with applause, showing much encouragement to those who would be participating. "With the Princess Festival now over. We'll find out who will become the winner of the Sun Ribbon." She announced and every cheered even more.
As this was going on, Dawn was making sure her hair looked amazing. As she was, Serena was brushing her hair. Shauna had a big smile on her face, ready to show something new to the audience. Yet, what happened earlier was gradually getting to Serena. She was still thinking about what Miette said, even though her friends backed her up. She looked up to the tv, seeing that the contest was about to get underway.
"Up first for the contest is Ursula." Lilian announced.
Ursula came out onto the stage, her arms crossed in an X, smiling a bit with her eyes closed before opening them with serious determination in her eyes. "Here goes!" she exclaims as she brings out one of her Pokeballs and enlarged it. "Come on out, Butterfree," she called out as her ball burst open and released her bug-flying type with a 'Bee-fee.'
"A Butterfree? I wonder… huh?" Zoey was starting until she saw Misty cringe and shake slightly. "What's up with her?" she asked.
"Oh no. Mist, that Butterfree isn't anything to get scared over." Ash tried to reassure her.
"Did I miss something as well?" Barry questioned.
"That's right. Most of you don't know." Brock told them. They looked at him. "Misty isn't a fan of bug types." Brock told them.
"Even at a distance, it still freaks me out a bit." Misty told them.
Ash put his hand on hers. "It's alright, Mist. If you want to. Just squeeze my hand if you do get freaked out a bit." Ash told her.
"Y-y-you sure?" she asked him.
"I'm positive." He reassured her.
"O-okay…" she replied a bit hesitantly.
On the stage Ursala was ready to start. "Use Stun Spore then use Whirl Wind." She called out. Butterfree did so and began to spin the Stun Spore around as it used Whirl Wind.
"What an amazing feat of showing off both Whirl Wind and Stun Spore." Lilian told the audience as they were mesmerized by the spinning Stun Spore.
"Amazing! She taught Butterfree to do both attacks in on fail swoop." Brock stated.
"Even though she's incredibly mean. She taught her Pokémon incredibly well." Angie commented.
"I think I know how she'll finish this." May replied as she kept an eye on Ursula.
"Now to finish it off with Psybeam." Ursula told Butterfree.
From there, Butterfree fired its attack and hit the Stun Spore surrounding it and it sparkled like diamonds as it continued to fall as it slowed down from spinning. "So beautiful! Butterfree has made its own attack look like sparkling diamonds falling as they spin." Lilian commented.
May smiled with her eyes closed. "I knew it. She used the same thing I've seen before and has done a really great job with it." May recalled as she crossed her arms.
Even Dawn was watching her and recognized that move. "I've seen that move quite a few times before." Dawn recalled.
"How often is it used?" Shauna asked.
"It's been used a good bit. Primarily beginners use it to start off their performances." Dawn informed her.
"You have to admit it, though. She still did a pretty good job." Serena commented.
"Even so. Ursula should know better than to use a beginners move." Dawn remarked.
"The way she used those three moves was a dazzling sight." Mr. Contesta commentated.
"It most certainly was remarkable." Mr. Sukizo added.
"A magnificent performance with a beautiful dazzling move." Nurse Joy commented.
After Ursula was done, she headed backstage after returning Butterfree. Once she got backstage, she looked at the others with a sneer. "Good luck with trying to beat that." She told them as she went to sit down.
Dawn got really agitated at her, but managed to calm herself down with a few deep breaths. "She'll learn soon enough." Dawn stated to herself before heading to the stage.
The crowd was very anxious to see who was next. "Up next for the contest. We have Dawn." Lilian announced.
Dawn took her cue and ran on stage and tossed her pokeball. "Come on out Quilava! Spoooot light!" She exclaimed as she threw it. In a flash of purple fire, the Fire type emerged.
"Wait! Dawn has a Quilava?" Misty questioned.
"She most certainly does. But when did it evolve?" Ash stated as he recalled the festival.
"I still remember her beating me and winning her prized Pokémon egg." Lyra recalled as well.
"Now! Use Swift on the purple fire." Dawn instructed.
Quilava fired off the Swift on the purple fire, making small fireworks.
"What a stunning first opener!" Lilian announced.
"Now to show off literal fire! Use Swift." Dawn called out. Quilava fired out its Swift and hit all the fire around the area, making the Swift burst, yet combine with the attack. This made the flames look like solid ember-like crystals as they floated briefly as they made the arena glow a bit.
"This is so beautiful! With the combination of those attacks, it has made the entire arena glow incredibly beautifully." Lilian announced.
"Dawn did an amazing job of combining those attacks like that. I'm at how far she has come as a coordinator." May stated.
"It's a surprise she wasn't able to win the Grand Festival in Sinnoh. I feel like she deserves the Top Coordinator title." Zoey added.
"Even if she did win, do you both think she would've been ready?" Brock asked.
What Brock said did make a lot of sense. Even though Dawn has come a long way, she needed to be ready for the Top Coordinator level. Zoey felt like her victory over Dawn in the Grand Festival showed she was ready for the Top Coordinator level than Dawn was. Yet, with how her skill was right now. She felt like Dawn was closer than ever before to earn the title of Top Coordinator.
"What an amazing performance by Dawn." Lilian commented. "Even as a runner up in the Grand Festival in Sinnoh, she's come a long way." Lilian stated.
Serena, Shauna and Ursula were really amazed at how well Dawn had done. Yet, Serena was a bit intimidated by this. She did know that Dawn had trained that hard in over a week.
"Oh my gosh!" Shauna exclaimed. Both Ursula and Serena looked at her. "Dawn did so amazing. I don't know if I can possibly top that." She stated.
"Ugh. Please. I did a greater job than she did." Ursula said, sounding pretty annoyed.
"Then you best do something to prove it in the battle rounds." Shauna told her.
Shauna was right. Ursula had to do something in the battle rounds to keep herself up there so she could win the ribbon. Multiple other coordinators showed what they had. Some really good. Others needed more training. It was after of these coordinators were done, it was Serena's turn, but both Dawn and Shauna noticed this about her.
"Hey, Serena. You okay?" Dawn asked her. Serena looked at her as she and Shauna looked at her.
"I'm wondering the same thing. Is something bothering you?" Shauna asked.
"I…uuhhh…" Serena didn't know how to explain what was going on.
"If you're nervous, you have nothing to worry about. You did great winning your first contest. I know you'll do great out there." Dawn reassured her.
Even though Serena wasn't so sure of herself, she knew she had to try. "Right!" she exclaimed and went out onto the stage. 'Let's see how great we are.' She thought to herself. She grabbed her pokeball and enlarged it. "Here we go. Let's do this, Squirtle. Time to Shine once more." Serena called out. From there her pokeball burst open with a flurry of bubbles and Squirtle came out in its white light, making a grand entrance.
"Go Serena. You got this!" Ash called out with a lot of determination.
"Use Water Gun, then use Ice Beam." Serena called out.
"Ice Beam? When did her Squirtle learn that?" Dawn wondered to herself.
"Hard to believe. All that training in about a week; and her Squirtle learns a new attack." Ash commented.
"Too bad it forgot Rapid Spin. That move was really good." Calem added.
Squirtle used Water Gun to burst all the bubbles before using Ice Beam to freeze all the water particles. As all the water particles fell, they looked like shimmering crystals. "Such a dazzling display of beauty." Lillian commented. "With the bubbles, along with Water Gun and Ice Beam; they created a brilliant shining spectacle." Lillian stated.
"With such beauty, I must say, this has amazed me once again." Mr. Contesta commented.
"Most certainly remarkable." Mr. Sukizo added.
"This display from a still new coordinator has shown she has so much grace." Nurse Joy added as well.
From there, Serena and her Squirtle bowed and went backstage to see the others as Dawn went up to her. "Oh my gosh, you did amazing once again." Dawn praised her.
"R-r-really?" Serena stammered. "I didn't think it was all that great." She informed the older coordinator.
"Hey, trust me!" Dawn exclaimed as she winked. "You might still be a beginner, but you've shown a really great performance." Dawn reassured her.
"As if." Ursula retorted as she came up. They looked at her. "That was only a rookie beginner move. She needed something that would've been more dazzling to the judges." She claimed.
"Let me guess. You could've done better?" Dawn questioned.
"I already had with the performance I pulled. Serena will be lucky enough to make it past the first found." Ursula told them before she headed off.
Dawn was pretty angry with Ursula before she looked back at Serena. "Don't worry about what she says. We all saw how great you did in that round. Not to mention when you got your first ribbon." Dawn complimented.
"Not to mention how well you did in the battle parts." Shauna recalled.
"From the training I gave you, I know you'll do a really great job." Dawn told her.
Serena smiled at her, but wasn't entirely sure about what to do, though, What both Miette and Ursula told her was getting to her head. It wasn't long until a few more contestants went on the stage and done their performances with a dazzling sight. Later on it was Shauna's turn to show what she could do.
"Let's welcome to the stage, Shauna!" Lillian exclaimed as she gestured to the curtains.
As they opened Shauna walked onto the stage, facing the audience. From there she closed her eyes and took a deep breath and let it out as her hands were over her chest. After that she opened her eyes and revealed a pokeball she was holding over her chest. "Okay, Skitty! Time to amaze." Shauna called out as she threw her pokeball.
Her ball burst open and the white light came out and formed Skitty who announced itself with a 'Skit skitty.'
"Wow! A Skitty?" May exclaimed.
"Aren't those rare over here?" Drew questioned.
"Pretty rare. Some trainers who start out here do have a Skitty. My brother battled trainers who had them before." Brock recalled.
"Now Skitty, use Blizzard then Sing." Shauna called out. Skitty unleashed a Blizard attack before singing, making the snow surround it to show off not only how adorable it is, but to show off its amazing fur.
"Incredible!" Lillian exclaimed. "With these two combinations, it really brought out Skitty's cuteness and amazing fur." Lillian stated.
"Seems like she trained her Skitty incredibly well." Dawn commented while Serena stood next to her. She had no idea how talented Shauna was with her Pokemon, and it showed quite well.
"There's something that's a bit tricky to do." May commented,
"With how her Skitty learned Blizzard and used Sing to mix in with it. It's not an easy task." Zoey added.
Calem, however, had a bad feeling something was going to happen.
After Shauna had finished her performance, the judges looked quite impressed.
"I must say. The combination of both Blizzard and Sing to show off the cuteness and its fur was simply incredible." Mr. Contesta commented.
"I must say, remarkable." Mr. Sukizo added.
"It's so wonderful for so much beauty to show off how amazing a Pokémon can look." Nurse Joy added as well.
After Shauna's performance she went backstage as Dawn went up to her. "Oh my gosh, you did amazing." Dawn gushed as she complimented her.
"Thanks Dawn. Hopefully we all made it to the next round." She told her.
Serena went up to her next. "You did amazing out there." She complimented her as well. "You'd definitely should be going to the next stage."
"Aw, thanks Serena." Shauna stated, smiling.
Soon after, a lot more contests came onto the stage. A coordinator had an Abra, trying to show off its mischievous side with Teleport. Another coordinator had a Pichu, trying to show off its cuteness. Another coordinator had a Cubone, using its Bonemerang along with a few others.
"It seems like we're now done with the first round. The second round will start soon once the decisions have been made." Lillian announced. Each judge was making their final decision as the other eagerly awaited their decisions.
"I feel like the tension is so thick, you could cut it with a knife." Dawn commented.
"I know what you mean by that." Shauna replied.
"You guys might be lucky enough to continue on." Ursula told them. They looked at her. "Currently, I'll be one of the top contenders to make it to round two." She claimed.
"The results are in!" Lillian exclaimed.
They all looked, highly anticipating who all would be chosen. It was then each of them was put on screen: Dawn first, Serena third, Shauna fifth and Ursala eighth. They all were relieved, but Ursula was pretty furious she was put in eighth place on the board.
"Seems like your performance wasn't all that great to the judges." Dawn informed her.
"You best work on your performances so you can get a higher score." Shauna stated.
Yet, Serena said nothing as she only watched Ursula walk away with a 'humph,' until she looked back at her. "You best watch your back. I know how tough battles can be for you." Ursala told her as she walked off.
"Don't listen to her. You'll great in the contest battle. I just know it." Dawn reassured her.
It was at that point the battles were ready. Dawn was up first as she readied her Pokémon. "Now Kirlia. Spooot liiiigghhht!" she exclaimed as she threw her ball and her Kirlia burst out in a flurry of ribbons, and a tied-up bunch that burst open giving her a grand entrance.
"Dawn has still got it with her grand entrance, showing off the beauty of her Kirlia in a very elegant way." Lillian stated.
The guy she was facing had a confident look on his face as he grabbed his pokeball. "Come on out, Palpitoad." He called out. From his pokeball came out a water type looking Pokémon who called out its name.
"Huh? What's That?" Ash wondered as he pulled out his pokedex and opened it and it beeped twice. "Palpitoad, the water-ground type Pokemon and the evolved form of Tympole. When they vibrate the bumps on their heads, they can make waves in water or earthquake-like vibrations on land. It lives in the water and on land. It uses its long, sticky tongue to capture prey." His pokedex informed him. "A Palpitoad, huh?" Ash questioned.
"I know those Pokémon! They're from my region." Iris stated. Everyone looked at her and she looked at them and realized she forgot to tell them. "Oh yeah!" she exclaimed with a sweat drop with a blush of a bit of embarrassment. "I forgot to tell you all I'm originally not from here in Kanto." She told them until she saw things were about to get under way. "I'll tell you all soon." She told them as she looked back at the contest. The others did the same.
"Now Kirlia! Use Confusion." Dawn commanded. Kirlia's eyes gave off a blue glow on Palpitoad and began to lift it up, making him slightly lose points.
"Palpitoad, get free and use Bubblebeam!" he commanded. Palpitoad struggled a bit before Kirlias released it and Palpitoad released a flurry of bubbles towards Kirlia while slightly in the air.
"Spin to send them right back." Dawn commanded. Kirlia ceased its Confused and spun elegantly to reverse the attack right back, making him lose a bit more points.
"What the hey…?" Serena wondered.
"She used Kirlia's spin to not only redirect the Bubble Beam, but for it to make her Pokémon look elegant as well." Shauna told her. Serena saw Palpitoad get hit with its own attack.
"Great job, Kirlia. Now use Magical Leaf." Dawn commanded. Kirlia began to form leaves and fired them at Palpitoad.
"Use Mud Shot to block it." The guy commanded. Palpitoad fired shots of mud at the on coming attack, resulting in an explosion. "Now Palpitoad, use Body Slam." He called out. Palpitoad went right in for its Body Slam attack.
"Quick, use Confusion to send it back." Dawn countered. At the last second Kirlia managed to stop Palpitoad and send it flying back with its confusion. "Great job, Kirlia." Dawn praised but saw that Kirlia was panting a bit.
"Seems like Kirlia's exerting a bit of pressure." Brock commented.
"This doesn't look…good?" May about exclaimed until they saw something happening to Krilia. It was emitting a strange type of energy as it's eyes were glowing. "Is-is that…" May started to question.
"It's Kirlia's Heal Pulse!" Max exclaimed.
Molly looked at him a bit surprised as did Clemont and Bonnie. "How did you know that?" Molly asked.
"I study up on Pokémon as much as possible." He informed her as he looked at her.
"Seems like Kirlia's using its own Heal Pulse, but will this be enough?" Lillian questioned.
Everyone watched Kirlia use its Heal Pulse. The guy she was facing saw his chance. "Now Palpitoad, use Flail." He commanded. Palpitoad began to attack aimlessly while Kirlia still healed itself.
"This won't go well. Kirlia is still healing itself." Brock stated.
"Come on Dawn! I know you got this." Ash exclaimed.
"Kirlia! Dodge the attack." Dawn commanded. Kirlia jumped around, but both her and the guy were losing points. 'I know I have to do something. Wait! I got it.' She thought. "Kirlia, use Double Team." Dawn called out. It was a tad bit difficult, but Kirlia managed to use Double Team while healing itself, looking like a marvelous glowing ring beginning to connect itself, the process nearly completed.
"Even with two minutes left on the clock. Seems like Dawn has gained a bit of the upper hand and has shown another marvelous dazzle." Lillian stated as the guys points lowered a bit more.
"We got this now!" Dawn exclaimed. "Use Magical Leaf to finish this." Dawn called out as she pointed in their direction.
"I'm not about to go down. Use Mud Shot." He called out.
Both Pokémon fired their attacks and caused an explosion. It was in the midst of the smoke they couldn't see anything until the smoke slowly cleared and they all saw Kirlia using Confusion on Palpitoad.
"What the…!" the guy exclaimed in a bit of shock.
"Great job, Kirlia. Now finish it." Dawn commanded as the clock was now at one-minute thirty seconds. Kirlia tossed Palpitoad up and it landed with a thud, knocking it out. All three judges declared it unable to continue.
Lillian announced, "There you have it folks! Palpitoad can't seem to go on! And with just one minute and 35 seconds on the clock, Dawn and Kirla can move onto the next stage!"
"Alright! We did it, Kirla!" Dawn cheered.
"Kir! (Yay!)" Kirla exclaimed as it twirled around happily,
"That was truly a splendid contest battle from both Pokemon. Though it seems Kirla has more experience." Mr. Contensta stated.
Mr. Sukizo commented, "Simply remarkable!"
Nurse Joy added, "What a joy for Kirla to have learned Heal Pulse. It clearly has come a long way!"
By this time, Dawn had reunited with her friends after recalling her Kirla.
"You did awesome, Dawn!" Ash commented.
"Pi! Pika chu! (Yeah! Great job.)" Pikachu exclaimed with a thumbs up.
"Hey thanks, guys!" Dawn gushed.
"You and your Kirla have done great." Misty stated.
Dawn smiled at Misty and was about to say something until she heard Ursula. "You lucked out again. Though that's not surprising with your track record!" she claimed.
"Speak for yourself, you know. Dawn is an excellent coordinator. Unlike you." Shauna spoke up.
"Yeah, so leave her be!" Serena added.
Ursula looked at them but more at Serena specifically. "Oh please, like I would take advice from you. The only thing you're good for is showing off how good I am. You're nothing like me. Face it, no one can ever be Top Coordinator if they don't even have the guts to enter their first contest." She shrugged, "Sorry but those are the facts." She claimed.
"Yet I'm Top Coordinator and I skipped the first contest I could've entered." May retaliated. Ursula looked at her. "I've come a long way and have become much stronger." May stated.
"Eh. Beginners luck I say." Ursula replied as she shrugged once again before heading off.
"Don't listen to her, Serena. You've done great. Even if you don't win this one, you're coming along incredibly well." Dawn told her.
"Up next for the battle round is Serena and Elise." Lillian called out.
"Best get moving. I'm up next." Serena told them.
"Gotcha Serena and best of luck." Calem told her.
"Don't worry about anything else. You got this." Zoey reassured her.
Not long after, everyone went to their seats as Serena was heading to the stage. When she headed there, she saw the girl she was facing off against. She was a fairly young girl with shoulder length brunette hair with a braid in it, hazel eyes, wearing a red shirt, a blue jacket with a pokeball print on it, a short purple skirt with brown shoes. She was a little taller than Serena. "Hello. I hope we have a great match." Elise told her as she extended her hand.
"S-same here." Serena replied as she took it and shook hands with her.
"Are you okay, though?" she requested.
"Y-yeah. Just a bit nervous is all." Serena told her.
"Nothing to be worried about. I saw how you were in the last contest you were in and you did an amazing job." Elise complimented her.
"Huh! R-really?" Serena asked her mind plagued with different thoughts.
"Yep! Really. I was amazed at how well you did in your first contest." She told her in a really encouraging tone.
"Then, whatever happens out there. May the better coordinator win." Serena told her.
"Likewise." Elise replied. From there, the both of them headed down their respective corridors and took their places, each of them smiling.
Everyone was watching them from the stands. Eagerly anticipating what Serena was going to do. "From Serena's previous contest. I know she'll do great in this one." Calem said.
"I'm not for sure. I have a bit of a bad feeling." Ash said to them.
"Huh? What kind of bad feeling?" Barry asked.
"I'm not for sure, but I think it's what is about to happen." Ash told them.
Lillian took her spot on the stage. "Okay everyone, the next battle is about to begin. With 5 minutes on the clock. Ready, go!" she shouted.
"Let's go, Girafarig." Elise called out. From there, her ball burst open and her Girafarig came out from its bright light.
"Come on out, Growlithe." Serena called out. Her dog Pokemon came out with a couple of howls to intimidate its opponent.
"Go and use Psybeam." She called out. Girafarig powered up and released a multicolored pink/purple light.
"Dodge and use Agility." Serena called out. Growlithe did and managed to get close to Girafarig as both began to lose points.
"Quickly, use Stomp." Elise called out. Her Girafarig stomped in an attempt to intimidate the Pokemon, but Growlithe was right up on it now. "Oh no!" she exclaimed as she lost more points.
"Now use Fire Spin." Serena called out.
"Counter with Confusion." Elise countered.
As Growlithe about attacked with its Fire Spin, Girafarig used Confusion on it. This lifted Growlithe into the air. "Now send Growlithe flying back." Elise commanded. Girafarig did so and the Flame Wheel dispersed, making the both of them lose a bit more points.
'That was only a rookie beginner move. You need something more dazzling for the judges.' What Ursula had said earlier went through her head. "Am I making only beginners moves?" Serena questioned herself.
"This looks like its going to be intense. With four minutes left, who will become the winner of this one?" Lillian stated.
"Now Girafarig. Use Agility." Elise called out.
"Counter it with Bite." Serena ordered, before she realized she made the wrong move.
"Something is going on here." Calem stated.
Growlithe went up to try and bite Girafarig, but the Pokémon managed to quickly dodge. "Now use Stomp." Elise countered. Girafarig stomped on the stage, making Growlithe flinch.
"I'm surprised you didn't enter that one. You were probably too scared." More of what Ursula said entered Serena's thoughts. "Oh no. Quick, use Agility." Serena commanded. "Oh no! I did it again." Serena thought to herself.
"I see what you mean, Calem!" Ash exclaimed.
"What do you both mean?" Angie asked.
"The way Serena is battling isn't how she battled form last time." Ash noted.
"I see what you mean. She did fantastic in her last contest. Now it's like…" "She's completely off?" Misty asked as she finished for May.
May looked over to her. "Yeah. Exactly." May stated.
Serena was struggling a bit, primarily since her head wasn't in the game. "Try an Ember attack." She called out. Growlithe fired bits of fire.
"What is she doing! This isn't how she battled last time." Elise thought to herself. "Counter it with Psybeam." She called out. Girafarig fired the same beam of multi-purple colored light at Growlithe which decimated her Ember attack, making Serena lose more points. The attack hit her Growlithe and it fell back, a bit bruised.
"Things aren't looking too good for Serena." Lillian told the audience.
"What-what am I doing! I got to get my head in the game." She thought to herself. "Quick Growlithe, use Agility." Serena called out.
Growlithe ran incredibly fast and managed to get close enough to Girafarig. "Not much time left. Can Serena get back the lead!" Lillian exclaimed.
"Now use Flame Wheel." Serena called out.
"Counter it with Stomp then Psybeam." Elise called out. Girafarig did its Stomp move then fired its Psybeam at Growlithe and made a direct hit on the Flame Wheel, dispersing that as well. Her points dwindling a bit more.
This made Serena panic a bit until another thought came into her head. 'Don't you remember! I'm here to see you lose.' Miette said to her. "Oh no. I'm going to lose." Serena thought to herself.
"COME ON SERENA!" Elise called out to her. Serena opened her eyes and saw her on the other side. "I KNOW YOU CAN DO FAR BETTER THN THIS. I SAW IT IN YOUR CONTEST DEBUT. SO, GIVE ME THE CHALLENGE I EXPECTED." Elise told her. "IF YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT WHAT THE OTHER TWO GIRLS TOLD YOU, DON'T LISTEN TO THEM. YOU'RE INCREDIBLY TALENTED. IF YOU LOSE. I WANT TO SEE YOU LOSE WITH DIGNITY." Elise told her.
This got Serena to snap out of it and remember what Dawn, May and the others said. "SHE'S RIGHT. YOU CAN DO THIS AND LOSE WITH DIGNITY." Dawn shouted to her. Serena looked at her as Dawn had a smile of determination. "Show them they're wrong. Give it all you got." Dawn told her from the side lines.
This boosted Serena's confidence as she gave off a smile and gave off a nod as she blinked her eyes. "Right!" she exclaimed before she looked back to the stage. "Ready! Go now, Growlithe! Use Agility." Serena called out.
Growlithe ran fast towards Girafarig. "That's what I want to see. Use Agility as well." Elise commanded. Girafarig ran towards Growlithe.
"Now use Ember/Stomp." They both commanded. As they both used their attacks, yet, Growlithe's mouth caught fire.
"Wait, is that…" Calem questioned.
"It is. Growlithe Just learned Fire Fang." Ash stated.
"She might not win, but at least her Growlithe learned a new move." Misty stated with a smile.
From there, her Growlithe bit down on Girafarig's leg, causing the Giraffe Pokemon to shout in pain. "Girafarig, use Confusion." Elise called out. Girafarig's eyes gave off a blue glow and it managed to pick up Growlithe. "Now toss Growlithe back." She ordered. Girafarig did as told and tossed Growlithe back.
"Use Flame Wheel." Serena ordered. Growlithe managed to adjust its body and started the Flame Wheel and gunned it towards Girafarig after its spectacular landing.
"Counter it with Psybeam." Elise commanded.
"Dodge it!" Serena countered. Growlithe did so after Girafarig fired another Psybeam. Growlithe managed to make a hit before bouncing back to Serena's side. Both looking like the were ready to continue.
"Time's up!" Lilian exclaimed. "And the winner is, Elise." She announced.
Even though Elise had won she went over to Serena with her Girafarig by her side. Serena knelt down to her Growlithe. "I'm so sorry Growlithe. The loss was my fault. My head wasn't in the game." She said to her faithful dog. Yet, Growlithe wasn't upset with her at all and licked her cheek and Serena looked at her Pokémon, pretty shocked. "G-G-Growlithe?" she questioned.
"Seems like your Growlithe could sense what was going on." Elise commented. Serena looked up to her and got up. "From what I can tell is that you were going through a few problems until me and your friend managed to get you out of it." Elise told her.
"Yet, I still lost." Serena told her.
"I wouldn't think of it like that." Lilian told her as she came over. "Listen to the crowd." She told her and Serena heard her chant her name."
Serena looked at the audience as they cheered her name "Serena! Serena! Serena! Serena! Serena!" they cheered, seeing how great she did in the end and overcoming those thoughts.
"Oh my gosh." Serena said in awe.
"You got their full support. Even though you lost, you came through in the end." Elise told her.
"Y-you're right." Serena replied hearing all the support she had.
"Go ahead and take a bow. I know it's what they want." Lilian told her.
"Right, but as long as Elise takes a bow with me." Serena replied as she took her hand.
"I'd be honored." Elise replied before they both bowed to the audience as they cheered. After that they both went backstage where they saw Dawn and Shauna.
"I know you might have lost, but the audience still had a lot of respect for you." Dawn told her.
"You did amazing in the end. Hopefully you'll do great in the next contest." Shauna told her.
"I don't believe it!" Ursula stated as she stormed up to her. "You managed to get their support after that horrible performance!" she exclaimed in pure rage.
"At least she lost with dignity. That definitely did her some good. You still have a lot to learn, Ursula." Dawn reminded her.
"How do I have a lot to learn by?" she requested.
"Because I strongly doubt you even learned from your loss at the Sinnoh Grand Festival." Someone stated. They all looked to see Zoey as she stood in the doorway. "Remember! You lost to the runner up, Dawn, during the Grand Festival." Zoey reminded her.
"She was lucky is all." Ursula attempted to retort.
"You know she has greater skills than you do. Your own overconfidence became your weakness which caused you to lose." Zoey reminded her.
"It was only the counter that made me lose." Urusula claimed.
"The only problem you have is making the poorest of excuses. You blame everyone and everything for instead of yourself." Zoey told her before she looked at Dawn and Serena. "Dawn, you did great; and Serena. You did marvelous." Zoey commended her. "If you haven't let them get into your mind, you might have won." Zoey told her. "I'm just glad you lost with dignity." Zoey told her. "My suggestion after all of this, take a breather. Try to recollect yourself." Zoey commented.
"R-right." Serena replied as she gave a slight nod as she blinked.
Not long after, Zoey went back to where the others were and watched who was up next. It was Shauna against the same guy Serena went up against in her first contest. He used a different Pokemon, one that Ash and Calem scanned with their Pokedex's and found out the Pokemon was a Sliggoo. "It drives away opponents by excreting a sticky liquid that can dissolve anything. Its eyes devolved, so it can't see anything. Its four horns are a high-performance radar system. It uses them to sense sounds and smells, rather than using ears or a nose."
"A Goodra, huh?" Ash questioned.
"That Pokemon is from my region." Calem commented.
"Huh? Have you caught one before?" Ash asked him as he looked at him.
"Yes, I have. I have and it fully evolved in a few months of me having it." He told Ash.
Shauna used another different Pokemon as well. She used a Seal and they both had a pretty graceful battle until Darren came out on top. Dawn went up against another guy and managed win with some ease. The contest continued on, even with Elise going up against Ursula and she managed beat her and continue on and met up in the finals with Dawn. With the contest battle between both Elise and Dawn, it was a close one.
"Quick, Kirlia. Use Magical Leaf." Dawn called out.
"Girafarig, use Psybeam." Elise called out. Her Girafarig used its Psybeam to negate the attack. "Awesome! Huh?" Elise exclaimed before she saw Kirlia as it was using Heal Pulse while using Double Team once again. "I must say Dawn. You might win this one." Elise commented.
"Thanks, Elise. You've shown to be an amazing rival." Dawn commented as well.
They continued to have their contest battle with the clock nearing zero. "With how close this is, I wouldn't be surprised if this would be a tie." Lilian announced. And then it came. "Time's up! And the winner is. It's Dawn." She announced. "Dawn has won the O'Hina Pokemon contest." Lilian announced.
"Alright! We did it!" Dawn exclaimed as her Kirlia went to hug her. "You did great out there, Kirlia." Dawn commented.
"Kir kirlia kirl. (You knew which moves I needed to use.)" Kirlia replied back.
"Congratulations, Dawn. You did amazing." Elise complimented her.
"Thanks, but you were just as amazing." Dawn replied as she got up.
It wasn't long until Mr. Contesta went to the center stage to present Dawn with her newest ribbon. "Congratulations. Dawn. You did an amazing job. I'm proud to present to you the O'Hina ribbon." He told her as he handed it to her.
Dawn accepted it and smiled at it she held it carefully in her hands before looking at Mr. Contesta. "Thank you, Mr. Contesta." She said sincerely. The crowd cheered for her as she looked at them, with a big smile on her face.
After the contest was over, everyone was back in the dressing room, talking with Dawn and Elise.
"I can't believe how great you both did in the finals." Zoey commented.
"I still can't believe what a contest is like. Glad I'm not a coordinator." Barry commented. May, Drew, Dawn, Kenny, Zoey and Elise gave him a bit of a glare. Barry did a defensive stance, knowing he was in a tad bit of trouble. "Hey, I meant for myself, you know." He told them to defend himself.
"So then, anyways. What's your next move, Elise?" Zoey asked.
"I plan on taking a small breather before I enter a few more contests. Plus, I'd like to enter the Wallace Cup once it's announced." She replied.
"We do need to find that out." Dawn replied.
"As for right now. By tomorrow, me and Joe will be heading back to the school." Giselle told them.
"I'll be heading back with Duplica. I know we have some shows to do." Ritchie added.
"I think many of us are splitting up tomorrow." Angie told them all.
"Unless my lil sis, like, Has anything else to tell us." Daisy commented in a joking tone.
"Possibly so. There might be more events after this one, ha ha ha." Misty said with a laugh.
It wasn't long until everyone returned back to the hotel. After they entered Misty went over to Angie. "Hey. Can we talk?" she asked her.
Angie was a bit surprised at this but went with her to find out what she wanted. "Uh, sure." She replied.
Angie followed Misty to a small spot that was private enough for them to speak. Angie looked at Misty to find out what she wanted. "Listen, I saw the way you looked at Ash at the party and yesterday as well." Misty told her.
"I know and I'm sorry. But I couldn't really help it." Angie replied.
"It's alright and I understand. You have a crush on him, don't you?" Misty asked.
"I-I-I do and I'm sorry if I'm crushing on your boyfriend." Angie told her.
"W-wait! What? You think he and I are…" Misty started to ask until Angie nodded as she blushed out of embarrassment. "Oh, no we're not a couple!" Misty exclaimed.
Angie looked at her a bit confused. "What?" Angie asked. "Yet you both…" "I know and I'll admit. I do have strong feeling for him." Misty told her.
"I can tell, and I promise I won't take him from you." Angie told her.
Misty looked surprised at her when she said that. "Huh? You're not…" "Nope. I promise. Besides that, I think I might have my eyes on another; but I'll still admit that I still have a bit of a crush on him." Angie admitted.
"I know. But mine became more like feelings for him." Misty admitted.
"I understand. When did yours first start?" Angie asked.
"It was either when I noticed how he treated his Pokémon, or it took me sometime." Misty said thoughtfully, trying to remember.
"Mine was when he saved me from being sucked into the spirit world during the Pokémon academy." Angie told her.
As they continued to talk, May went over to Ash and he looked at her.
"I'll tell you one thing, Ash. You best keep Misty close and tell her how you feel." May informed him.
"B-but we're just…" "Don't give me the excuse of being "just friends." I know how you two are." May retorted.
As this went on Zoey spotted something from the corner of her eye and grew a sly smile. She looked at the others as they were talking. "Hey girls!" she exclaimed with a playful sing-song tone. The girls looked at her, confused as to why she called onto them like that. "You all aren't going to believe this." Zoey told them. They all went over and saw the sign and had to suppress their laughter, knowing what the boys were in for this time.
"I don't know if I can make that one, but I'll see what I can do." Casey told them.
"Same with me and Joey since we have a lot of studies to do." Giselle added.
"I'll definitely be able to make that one." May stated.
"Same with me and Kenny." Dawn told them.
"Seems like you just confirmed your crush, Dawn." Misty acknowledged, teasingly.
"Same with you and Ash." Dawn reminded her as she retorted the tease.
"Not to mention, at the end of this summer, there's going to be a festival at Maidens Peak." Misty told them.
"I'll definitely bring Tracey along for that one. Will see if I can trick him for this one as well." Daisy commented as she giggled.
"As for me and Ralph. I'm going to tell him that I've decided to enter into contests. After seeing all those amazing performances, I feel like that's my true calling." Emily told them.
"That's understandable. Hopefully he won't think it's another trap." Dawn said jokingly.
They all had a bit of a laugh as the boys watched them.
"I wonder what got them to laugh like this." Kenny wondered.
"I hope they're not planning anything else." Drew commented.
"My only suggestion is for us to run if they do." Ash told them. They had a small laugh from that.
"Well, at least I don't have to, for now." Clemont told them.
"You heading home tonight?" Ash asked.
"Nope. I figured we'd stay one more night before heading home. It is pretty late, though. Especially for how long that contest lasted." He told them.
As they chatted, Elise came up to the girls. "What's going on, guys?" she requested. They went up and told her what was going on. "Wait a dance and a festival? I'll see if I can make it." She told them.
"Would love to see if we all could, but I even doubt it." Dawn stated.
"We'll see what happens. I the mean time. I think we should get ready for tomorrow. I know we have to go our separate ways." Iris told them.
"Especially for an Electabuz game." Casey noted.
Not long after, everyone began to head to their respective bedrooms. They all managed to get a shower and changed into their pjs, but Misty was wondering where Ash was. She looked around in the lobby area until she saw him come in. "Huh! So there you are. I didn't know where you ran off to." She told him.
"Heh heh, sorry Mist. I thought I'd get you a little something." He told her as he brought out a little heart. Misty looked at it, a bit confused. "This is meant for your hair bungee, for when you put it in your side ponytail." He told her. As he looked at her he noticed her hair was a bit longer. "Wait. Is your hair a bit longer than usual?" he asked her.
"Oh, uh, yes. I-I thought I'd let it grow out." She told him. Ash gazed at her briefly until he shook his head. Misty noticed this. "Huh? Are you okay, Ash?" She asked him.
"Uh…yeah. J-just not used to seeing you with your hair being a bit longer is all." He told her.
Misty giggled. "I know." She replied before kissing his cheek and taking his arm. "I'm surprised you haven't changed your hair." She told him jokingly as they began walking together.
"Trust me, I do like it like this, ha ha." He replied to her. They had a small laugh as they went to their room.
The following day they were all up, having had breakfast. Misty was putting her hair in a side ponytail and Ash went up to her and clipped the heart onto her bungee from behind her. She looked to him and smiled and he returned it. Everyone was ready to head out and they bid farewell to each other, but Max was heading out with Molly to her place for a bit of time. Many of them would attempt to meet up for both the dance and the festival at Maidens Peak.
However, some time ago in Sinnoh. The same girl that Gary was interrogating is running through a forest. As she ran, she panted heavily as for right behind her was a mysterious figure following her. The figure walked through the woods as she ran, hearing her footsteps ahead. The girl kept on going not knowing where she could go. Beads of sweat running down her face.
She stopped at a point and looked around, unable to hear things clearly or process what's around her. 'This isn't happening! I can't believe it's happening. Why did she do all of that stuff?' she thought to herself. She recalled people she had begun to know getting encased in what looked like cement. 'This is just insane. Why…just why?' she continued to think to herself as she still recalled what she saw.
She kept on looking around, trying to find someplace to hide. "I'M SURPRISED AT HOW LONG YOU MANAGED TO HIDE. ESPECIALLY FROM ME." The figure spoke from a distance. "IT WON'T MATTER THOUGH. I;M BOUND TO CATCH UP TO YOU." The figure spoke from a distance still.
The woman didn't hesitate as she started to run again. Her heart still racing as she looked for a good spot to hide. As she continued to run the figure stopped briefly and listened in all directions. From there the figure changed course. Its boots stepping on the dirt, leaves and sticks as it kept walking, a small device on its arm.
As the girl kept on running she stopped in a certain spot as she found a waterfall. Seeing the massive amount of water pouring from the top, she looked to it and ran up to the falls. She managed to squeeze herself behind the falls and she stayed there, knowing the figure wasn't far behind. Her chest heaved up and down as she panted heavily. Hoping that the figure wouldn't find her. However, the figure found the waterfall and looked over it to the bottom.
Watching the rushing water, the figure began to walk away. As it did, the girl began to calm down a bit. 'Is…' she wondered. It felt like a good bit of time went by, even though it was only a few minutes. She began to make her way out from behind the waterfall. She still panted a bit, not as heavily from earlier. She managed to make her way back up, but hid behind a few trees, for just in case.
As she did, she peered from behind one of the trees. Not knowing if the figure was around or not. "I-I think I'm…" "You think you're what?" the figure demanded a bit sarcastically. The girl gasped as the figure aimed its device at her. From there she looked at the figure and the figure had silver hair, a purple long collard jacket with two pockets, the left sleeve gone. A red outfit underneath, red boots and blue eyes. "H-h-hunter…" "J! I know." Hunter J exclaimed as she had on a devious smile.
"What-what do you…?" she began, but couldn't say anything as she was too scared, seeing the arm canon aimed at her.
J merely chuckled and lowered her left arm. "I'm not going to waste this on you." J told her before backing up a bit. The girl was very surprised at this as J turned away a bit. "You see, I don't have much power or that much ammunition left." She told her before she turned around completely and began to walk off. "I'm leaving it for one person." J told her as she walked away.

Sara: Even with one statistics class, things are still quite busy for him. He's still doing his best and aims to have the next episode up relatively soon.
Tom: He has been struggling with ideas still. Due to a few areas: a lack of ideas, being more of a battler than a coordinator and much more.
Sara; At least we're halfway through the semester and he'll be taking a break next year.
Tom: Not only that, but we have a big announcement. Guys!
Max: We're ready on our end.

Ash: I can't wait to see this come back here.
Misty: It'll be great to have something old ad amazing come back.
You all know it, so get ready for an amazing time. Plus, KidsWB won't just be for all the adults.
Tom: It'll also be for the kids, even as we use the original logo. This will all take a bit of time, or into the next episode. So in the mean time. Just sit back and relax. As I push the button. Only Toonami.
Me: Working out a few areas of bring KidsWB here. Hope you guys love this blast form the past. Get ready and hang on tight. Till next time, though.
