-Anya POV-
Becky had always told her the first time sucked and that most guys sucked in bed. Anya made a mental note to tell her that Damian was good when Becky would most definitely inevitably ask.
Now, it was time for the hard part. It was time to act.
Damian fell asleep relatively easily, the harder part was escaping his warm tight grasp. He felt so warm that it felt awful to be leaving it, but she had to complete the mission, even though it felt so wrong. She knew what she was about to do was terrible. To kill someone, that was not an easy task, no matter how much you hated them.
She slipped back on her clothes that had been thrown all over the floor and slowly crept towards where papa had told her Donovan Desmond's office was. It was at the end of a long hallway with a plain door, not unlike Damian's. She hoped that Damian wasn't awake yet. He would have such a terrible surprise when he awoke.
The door was unlocked surprisingly enough. Anya would have expected someone who refused to go out as much as he did and was as paranoid as him to have better security. She shrugged it off, not sensing anyone inside the office.
Good.
She headed directly for the desk looking for the paper that listed Donovan Desmond's schedule for each day. Rifling through the neat stacks, Anya made a mental note of how they were arranged so that she would make sure to return them how they had been before.
Near the top of the fourth stack she looked at was the schedule she had been looking for. Perfect. She quickly pulled out her phone and began taking pictures of it, hoping that it would still be visible in the dim light. Reading over it, she noted that Donovan Desmond lived a rather mundane life. He spent much of his time at home in the office, only going out during mealtimes to eat. The only change in this schedule, however, was the upcoming Thursday, where Donovan Desmond had a meeting with some officials. That would be the perfect time for papa to strike.
Anya smiled at her excellent work as she began re-organizing the piles, placing the schedule back exactly where she found it.
The piles were not very neat, but she supposed that they were alright enough. She hoped that the paranoid Donovan Desmond wouldn't notice anything or at least not do anything about it. He was nothing like his son, Damian, who noticed everything these days.
She sighed at the thought of Damian, who's heart she was about to break. She really was a monster, first leaving him like this and now killing his father. She knew that his father was a wicked man to him and many others, but she still felt a pang of guilt. Anya knew that if someone killed either her papa or mama that she would raise hell, or at least try to make their life a fucking hell hole, but she wondered what Damian would feel when his father was dead.
Her poor Sy-on Boy.
Anya quietly left his house, not wanting to see him. She couldn't make herself feel guilty, not now, not when the mission was almost complete. The late night air was cool, and she shivered a bit in her thin dress as she called papa to come pick her up.
As she slid into the back seat of his car, he began peppering her with questions,
"So did you get the information?"
Anya nodded, a small frown on her face,
"Yes. His father will be at the government center on Thursday. You should strike then."
Loid nodded as he continued driving into the dark night. Anya laid her head against the tinted window, sighing.
"You should not get attached to him, Anya," papa said, sighing as well, "He is your enemy, and by loving him, you will only hurt yourself."
Anya scoffed,
"But you love mama."
Papa braked harshly at the red light,
"That's different. Besides, no one else knows that we are spies for opposite organizations. We are merely each completing our missions, unknowing that the other is working for the other organization."
Anya looked at him,
"But Damian doesn't know that I'm a spy."
Papa laughed,
"Yes but how do you think he will react? Most people wouldn't react like Yor and I did. It would be easier if the two of you broke it off now. It's only going to get harder from here."
Anya nodded, knowing well that her father had made a good point,
"You are right, Papa. I will break it off with him and avoid him for the rest of the year."
Papa smiled,
"You are our best junior spy, Anya. Don't let a teenage romance ruin everything that you worked for all these years."
