As Trisha fretted, her friends tried to make her feel less concerned. "We'll be your eyes, Trisha." Holly tried comforting the worried lass.

"Though I'm grateful, Holly, it won't be the same. While Gracie will be going through the same disability, which slightly comforts me, losing my sight is a serious hurdle! I use my Garnet Orb to see other possible timelines. Although I am not to interfere, I do if I feel I must. However, if I can not SEE the probability of negative consequences, how can I help prevent it?" Trisha pointed out.

"Good point." Shadow agreed.

Though she could not speak, Alexis hugged Trisha to console her. Trisha never cried, but she did show sorrow in her own way. Unlike the other girls, Trisha could and did stay awake the next night. Pluto's daughter will put up a good fight, even though she knows she will most likely lose. Chibiusa had raised that the specific monkey may not appear if Trisha was awake, so the mysterious girl pretended to be asleep if the monkey did not show up while awake.

Snuggling up, Trisha closed her eyes for some rest. While the girls slept, the cats tried to find out all the information they could about Roshi and the 4 Wise Monkeys, but they came up with nothing more than they already knew. Still, they kept trying because there was just something that wasn't adding up. In the Command Center, alarms went off, and the cats could see a disturbance in Trisha's room! Sadly, the footage was darkened, fuzzy, grainy, and kept cutting out until the recording died completely!

"Damn!" Quartz slammed his paw on the console.

"I know you're distressed, big brother, but don't do that. You could break it." Rose purred, trying to soothe her black-furred sibling.

"Trisha's going to lose one of her senses, Rose! So why are you worried about me breaking a piece of machinery?!" Quartz yelled, his heterochromia eyes flashing in anger.

Quartz knew Diana, Elizabeth, and Rose looked up to him at times. This is why he rarely raised his voice with his siblings unless it was urgent and they needed to listen to him.

"While you have every right to be frustrated, Rose is right. Neo-Queen Serenity hired the best technicians to build this Command Center, with King Endymion overseeing it looked just like the one on Earth. If anything gets damaged, I'm not sure we can repair it." Asteroid explained.

Noticing Quartz getting hotter under the collar, so to speak, Comet rubbed up against him, and he calmed down some.

"I'm sorry, Rose." Quartz apologized.

As always, Rose forgave her brother and rubbed against him too.

"Hey, it's working!" Artemis called in astonishment as the camera in Trisha's room somehow just switched on again of its own accord!

"Maybe me banging it fixed the problem?" Quartz joked.

"I don't know." Artemis gave him an exaggerated look.

"Why is Trisha rubbing her eyes? They look strange..." Diana observed apprehensively.

"She's gone blind," Elizabeth replied.

Quartz howled in sorrow. While Comet, Asteroid, and Rose had made themselves useful to their disabled charges, Quartz had not gotten the chance to help Emily because the girl had accomplished helping herself. While Trisha held her own the longest, Quartz felt she suffered because he had not been there to drive away the monkey. To hide his tears, Quartz turned away and ran back to Trisha! At least she would not be able to see him crying.

"Quartz!" Luna tried to call him back, but he was gone.

Later, Diana saw him purring to soothe Emily and Trisha's spirits as they stroked him in their room. Emily was helping Trisha avoid touching Quartz's face. Diana smiled as she felt relieved, knowing Quartz was determined to help as much as he could. Like Gracie, Trisha took full advantage of whatever she could figure out independently with the tools offered, as independence was a big part of her personality! Of course, Quartz pitched in when she let him.

Well, now all the Neo-Super Sailor Senshi had lost a sense, except one...
