The day of Harry's first Quidditch match against Slytherin has finally arrived. The excitement is palpable in the air as students gather around the Quidditch pitch. In the stands, Harry's family, consisting of Sirius, Remus, Marlene, Lyall, Hope Lupin, and Lily, have secured a prime spot to cheer for their favorite Seeker.
The teams take to the field: Ravenclaw, led by their captain Roger Davis, and Slytherin, with their determined team captain, Terence Higgs. The sky above is clear, and the conditions are perfect for a thrilling match. Lee Jordan, as usual, provides a lively commentary, adding an extra layer of excitement to the atmosphere.
Lee Jordan (enthusiastically): "Ladies and gentlemen, witches and wizards, gather 'round! We've got a fantastic match lined up for you today! It's the Ravenclaw Eagles facing off against the Slytherin Serpents, and we've got a promising rookie, Harry Potter, as Ravenclaw's Seeker! Can he catch the Snitch and bring glory to his team?"
The whistle blows, and the Quaffle is released into the air. The Chasers from both teams display excellent teamwork and skill. Randolph Burrow, a formidable Chaser, scores the first goal for Ravenclaw. The crowd erupts in cheers.
Lee Jordan (excitedly): "Randolph Burrow scores! he's a force to be reckoned with!"
The Slytherin Chasers counterattack with impressive maneuvers and manage to level the score. The Quaffle flies back and forth between the teams, with both Keepers making remarkable saves.
Harry is soaring high above the pitch, scanning for the Golden Snitch. He is nimble and quick, dodging Bludgers and rival Seeker, Terence Higgs, who is determined to snatch the Snitch first.
Lee Jordan (with anticipation): "Our rookie Seeker, Harry Potter, is giving a stellar performance! He's got his eyes locked on the prize!"
As the game continues, Harry's sharp eyes finally catch a glimmer of gold near the Slytherin goalposts. He dives, his hand outstretched, narrowly avoiding a Bludger, and with a swift move, he snatches the Golden Snitch.
Lee Jordan (roaring): "And Harry Potter has done it! He's caught the Snitch, winning the game for Ravenclaw!"
The crowd erupts into thunderous applause, cheering for their victorious Ravenclaw team. Harry lands back on the ground, the Snitch held triumphantly in his hand. His teammates surround him, congratulating him for his incredible catch.
In the stands, Harry's family is beaming with pride, clapping and cheering along with the rest of the Ravenclaw supporters. They are overjoyed to see Harry's success on the Quidditch pitch.
After the match, as Harry's team leaves the pitch, they are met with warm embraces and congratulations from their families. Lily, Sirius, Remus, Marlene, Lyall, and Hope Lupin join the celebration, and they couldn't be happier for Harry's victory.
After the exhilarating Quidditch match, Harry and his friends leave the stadium, heading to the Great Hall for a well-deserved lunch. They are still riding high on their victory, basking in the cheers and congratulations from their fellow students.
As they walk through the corridors, making their way to the Great Hall, they are joined by Harry's family, who have come to witness the match. Lily, Sirius, Remus, Marlene, Lyall, and Hope Lupin are all smiles and pride, showering Harry with congratulations and pats on the back.
Lily (joyful): "Oh, Harry, that is incredible! You are amazing up there!"
Sirius (grinning): "I know my godson would be a fantastic Seeker!"
Harry (blushing): "Thanks, Mum, everyone. It is a great match."
While the family celebrates Harry's achievement, Severus Snape approaches the group. His presence is an unwelcome intrusion, and Harry's family reacts with a mixture of concern and protectiveness. Sirius and Remus instinctively move to shield Lily from Snape, who appears to be seeking a private conversation.
Snape (apologetic): "Lily, I need to speak with you. There are things I must say, things you need to hear."
Lily, however, is having none of it. She steps forward, her expression a mix of anger and disdain.
Lily (firmly): "Severus, I thought I had made myself perfectly clear. My husband is gone, and the past is the past. I have a family to protect and a son to raise."
Snape (earnest): "Lily, please, just listen. I—"
Lily (warning): "No. You will not say anything bad about my husband. And I warn you, Severus, to stay away from my family."
Lily's words are not just a warning; they are a threat. She makes it clear that Snape's presence is unwelcome and that she will protect her family fiercely.
With a final, steely glare, Lily turns her back on Snape, who is left to watch her walk away, defeated. Her family rallies around her, leaving Snape behind.
Harry, Daphne, Hermione, Neville, and Draco head to the Great Hall for a well-deserved lunch. They are still riding high on Harry's victory as they walk through the castle's corridors. The atmosphere in Hogwarts is positively electric.
However, just as they are about to enter the Great Hall, they have an unexpected encounter with Nearly Headless Nick, the ghost of Gryffindor House. He appears before them, nearly transparent and with a wide, welcoming grin.
Nearly Headless Nick (enthusiastically): "Ah, my dear friends! How fortunate that I've encountered you. I must extend an invitation for a most special occasion."
Harry raises an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued.
Harry: "An invitation? What's the occasion, Nick?"
Nearly Headless Nick (with a theatrical flourish): "Why, it's my Death day Party, of course! The five hundredth anniversary of my untimely demise is soon upon us. I'm hosting a celebration of my, shall we say, unconventional state of existence."
Hermione: "Your Death day Party?"
Nearly Headless Nick (nodding): "Indeed! It's a ghostly gathering like no other. There will be hauntingly beautiful music, exquisite transparent cuisine, and a mesmerizing display of headless feats."
Daphne (intrigued): "Sounds... unique."
Nearly Headless Nick (excitedly): "It is! And I would be most honored to have you attend. It promises to be a memorable event."
The group exchanges glances, considering the invitation.
Draco: "Well, I suppose it could be an experience."
Neville (enthusiastic): "I've never been to a ghost's party before!"
Harry (smiling): "Alright, Nick, we're in."
Nearly Headless Nick (pleased): "Wonderful! The Death day Party will take place on the very night of my death, the 31st of October, at midnight. It's an event that transcends the realms of life and death, and I'm sure you'll find it most... illuminating."
With their RSVP confirmed, Nearly Headless Nick bids them farewell and continues to float down the corridor.
The idea of attending a ghost's party is certainly unusual, but as the night of Halloween approaches, the group can't help but feel a sense of anticipation for the mysterious celebration that awaits.
