(Tad's POV)
[Later after midnight]
I half expected him to double cross me! And yet here he was again at my doorstep!
"Is it time already?" I asked hopefully! For so long I had been caged away, and finally Cipher was about to let me back out to play.
"Yep it's time." Bill mused.
"So what's the plan?" I asked hungrily.
"I give you all your power back." Bill explained, "It will take you some time to go full demon, just enough time to carry out my demands before your forced back to the Nightmare Realm."
"And what are those demands?" I asked, licking my lips, I could already taste the power. Sure I'd soon be back in the Nightmare Realm, but not for long. Bill would get us all out again! And soon.
"I need you to harm the kid's sister to the point that she nearly dies." Cipher ordered me.
"What?" I was fuming. "You said she'd be mine!"
"And she will." Bill promised. "Cause My Pine Tree is going to wish me to save her." Cipher informed me.
"But guardians can't heal someone that's too far gone, it requires too much power, power you don't have because of…well it's against the rules of the contract." I pointed out.
"Exactly." Cipher laughed with a wicked smile. "If Pine Tree wants to save his sister he'll have to free me first!"
My eyes widen, it was the perfect plan; there was just one small hitch! "Are you sure he'll do it?" I ask.
"Trust me the kid's got a big heart." He assured me. "Too big! Especially when it comes to his sister, he'd die for her; move mountains if needed."
"And send the entire Multiverse into pearl!" I said in disbelief.
"In a heartbeat." Bill assured me.
"And you'll save her?" I asked.
"Of course I'm a man of my word." Cipher chuckled. "So are you in?"
I smiled. "Oh yeah I'm in, but this twin better be worth my time, cause I can still smell him on you." I laughed. "Is he that good that you just can't keep your hands off of him?"
I expected Bill to deny it, to say sexual pleasures were weak and that was their last time, but instead the dream demon smiled darkly licking his lips.
"You better believe he's that good." Bill hissed. "And I swear you so much as touch him and the deals off!"
"Fine I won't touch him scouts honor!" I swore holding out my hand eagerly.
Bill took it, and in seconds my old power was restored. "There now go, you don't have much time left."
I obeyed setting off into the woods of Gravity Falls.
It was time for this old jinxes to cause havoc once more, and of course I already had my first target.
Mabel Pines!
(Ford's POV)
[Still after midnight]
He had been gone for almost an hour...
It was a miracle that I managed to show up the moment he floated out the door. I had been working late in the lab, and just so happen to have an uncontrollable craving for ice cream. So I had gone up to the kitchen to satisfy said hunger when I saw him leave.
And just like that the hunger was gone!
I wanted to follow him, but knew I'd be sensed the moment I did, so I was forced to wait to see if something happened.
Nothing did, and soon Bill returned.
I hid behind the ajar vending machine door as he floated by and up the stairs, and the look in the demon's eye made my blood run cold.
His eye was curved into a mischievous smile, a smile that only meant one thing. Bill was up to something, and in less I stopped him all of Earth Realm would pay!
(Back to Dipper's POV)
[Well past noon...]
Every bone in my body ached…
I moaned as I forced myself to sit up in bed as someone continued to knock on my door. "Dipper you slept half the day away." Mabel said from the door.
I moan, why did sex with Bill have to leave me so sore the next day? You'd think I'd be use to this by now.
"Mabel I'm not feeling well." I admitted.
"Oh no MR.!" Mabel shouted and barged in.
"Mabel!" I exclaimed trying to cover up my naked body. "I'm…indecent!" I screamed.
"I don't care if your half gorilla!" Mabel yelled. "You promised me last weekend we'd spend more time together, and now it's time to make good on your promise!"
I groaned how could I have forgotten, my affair with Bill (Could I really call it an affair? I mean I wasn't seeing anyone else!) Had really formed a wedge between us. And she was determine to make up for lost time.
And there was no getting out of it when Mabel was this dedicated.
"Okay fine just let me get dressed in peace!" I exclaimed.
Mabel jumps for joy and races down the stairs.
I force myself out of bed, groaning in pain, catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror. I'm covered in bruises, and hickeys, and my ass is on fire.
"You look perfect." A voice says behind me.
I turn to see the creator of my marks. "Bill, what did I tell you about staying below the collar bone!?" I hissed, as I pull on my shirt only to moan in dismay as three hickeys still stared me down from my upper neck.
"I say they suite you." Bill cued.
I give him a weird look, his mood is darker than usual, and my body is strangely turned on by it. I ignore the urge and pull up my pants determine to make good on my promise, and stay away from Bill at the same time.
"Mabel and I are going out." I said. "You stay here." I ordered.
"Okay have fun." Bill said darkly.
His words send an old forgotten shiver down my spine, the feeling that comes when I know Bill is up to something.
But he couldn't be, we had him trapped… Right?
Of course I was right! I shook the paranoia off instantly and pulled on the rest of my clothes and shoes before racing out the door.
Leaving my worries behind me, I didn't know it than, but this was a decision I would soon learn to regret!
(Third POV)
[Around 1:30 PM]
"C'mon, bro, bro" Mabel complained as she followed her brother through the woods, ducking as he shoved thorny vines and branches out of their way. "How much deeper do we have to be to find some adventure around here?" She stomped her foot. "When we were twelve monsters just came at us!"
Dipper bit his lip, he had, had an uneasy felling ever since they entered the forest. Something was following them, though he didn't know what, or who.
Ford crouched down behind a nearby bush, Bill was up to something he just knew it, and the only ones Ford knew Bill would try to manipulate were the kids. The demon knew he and Stan wouldn't fall for any easy ploy. What Ford didn't know however was how Bill planned to do it.
He could threaten the kids with their lives, but the threats would be empty, he could not harm the twins it was against the code that bonded him as their guardian. So if not Bill than who?
A dark thought crossed his mind.
'Did Bill make a deal with another human?'
NO! He couldn't of, he was ordered no more deals with humans… And that's when the realization hit him.
What if it wasn't human!?
"Somethings up Mabel." Dipper finally spoke up.
"Oh come on Dipper lighten up." Mabel said.
"No listen." Dipper urged.
"I don't hear anything." Mabel exclaimed.
"Exactly when have you even known this forest to be this quiet?" Dipper rasped. The realization hit them all a bit too late!
Suddenly a loud screech filled the air, as a large purple fire breathing dragon appeared.
"Oh no!" Ford gasped.
The Dragon charged for the easy prey!
"Dipper, Mabel watch out!" Ford exclaimed pulling out his blaster and firing at the beast, only for his gun to suddenly combust by a single sinister glance from the dragon. Ford yelped and fell to the ground as the large bang send his ears ringing. 'Man was that a stroke of bad luck?'
Unfortunately for him bad luck had everything to do with it! And there was plenty more where that came from.
Tad laughed in his dragon form as he swooped down towards his prey once more.
Dipper squeezed Mabel's hand and forced her to run with him, it felt far too slow, like they were running in a dream. Where no matter how fast you tried to run it still felt sluggish! Mabel's eyes widen as she came to the same realization. But before either of them could speak, there was an ear-piercing roar, so loud they had to stop and cover their ears.
Leaves rattled, and then a beast launched itself out of a tree, soaring toward them on huge wings, mouth open; jagged, blood-stained teeth glinted from its maw.
"Look out!" Dipper grabbed Mabel and yanked her back, throwing her in one direction while he leapt in another. The monster's reaching head missed them by inches, but the draft from its wings sent them tumbling to the ground. Mabel is lucky and just face plants into the dirt screaming loudly.
Dipper on the other hand face plants into a stomp of a fallen tree, he's soon seeing stars. The dragon flapped and screeched, turning sharply and landed…
Mabel screamed as the dragon pounced her from behind, digging his claws into her shoulder! Tad snickered as his long dragon tongue slithered over her, tasting his prize for the first time. She was delicious!
"Mabel NO!" Ford raced over to her, only to be swatted like a fly, by its tail into a nearby tree. He was out cold seconds before he hits the ground.
"Dipper do something!" Mabel screamed as the beast sick tongue danced up her skirt tasting her some more.
Dipper gets on shaking legs his world is spinning. "Mabel!" He cried, moving forward, only to fall to his knees. He crawls towards her, but it's no use, the beast just ignores his efforts as he continues to taste his prey.
"You taste so good my little star." Tad cackled. "I could just eat you up, heck I think I will!"
Mabel screams as the beast opens his mouth, claws digging deeper into her skin. "Dipper!"
He's helpless to stop what's coming, than out of nowhere he remembers! "BILL!" He screams. "Stop him!"
In a flash of white light, Bill appears, and with one mighty blow the beast screeches and runs for the hills.
Dipper sighs in relief. "You…you came." Dipper rasped.
"Of course I did Pine Tree." Bill said softly. "Now let me help you there." He placed a hand to Dipper's head. "You've got quite a bump there."
Dipper closed his eyes, and allowed Bill to heal him with ease, he could feel the pain fading and his strength returning.
Finally Bill pulled away. "Now Sixer's turn." He snapped his fingers and Ford's unconscienced form floated towards him. "Hey kid check on your sister would you?"
Dipper nodded and ran to Mabel's aid without a second thought.
Bill smiled. 'Perfect!' He mused. And manipulated some vines to tie Ford's hands behind his back, before forcing him to his knees. He then added some vines over the man's mouth for good measure. 'There that should keep his mouth shut.' He said leaving Ford there.
"Bill she's not doing so well!" Dipper yelled.
Bill rushed over to her, pretending to look concern. "Oh my, this is bad." He admitted.
"Can you help her?" Dipper cried; tears ran down his face.
Ford moaned; his eyes opened slowly… Where was he?
And why did he have such a headache?
His vision suddenly focused on Dipper, and Bill he tried to move forward to warn his great nephew, but he found he couldn't move.
It is at this very moment that he realizes he is tied and gagged!
He tried to scream, tried to get Dipper's attention, but the boy is too fearful, and focused on Mabel's motionless form to notice him.
"Bill please tell me you can save her!" Dipper begged.
"I'm sorry Pine Tree." Bill said sorrowfully. She's too far gone…"
"No…" Dipper whispers, and then he screams. "NO! I order you to save her! I order you to save her!"
"I can't!" Bill said holding back a grin. "My contract forbids it."
"Contract?" Dipper asked through tears.
Bill nodded. "When you all bounded me to your family a contract was foraged, one created by Time Baby that all Familiars are forced to follow. There are many rules, one is you cannot force me to make someone fall in love with you, another is I can't bring people back from the dead, and Shooting Star well she's…"
Dipper's eyes fell on Mabel, no it couldn't be!
He wanted to deny it, but he could see the truth in her blue lips, and her pale skin, she was dead!
Tears streamed down his eyes, "No there has to be a way!" he cried. "Please tell me there's a way."
Tears spilled downs Ford's face as well, and not just for Mabel, for he knew what was coming next. Yes, there was a way to bring her back.
"Free me." Bill said.
"What?" Dipper sniffled. Did he hear him right? Did Bill just ask to free him?
"Free me, and I can save her." Bill said. "An unbounded demon is not held back by such laws!"
"But if I do that you'll…" Dipper couldn't finish the thought.
"What matter's to you more?" Bill asked. "The multiverse? Or Mabel?"
The answer came to him in a heartbeat. "Mabel!" He said, without hesitation.
"Than do it!" Bill urged. "Wish me free!"
"Don't do it kid!" Stan said running out from the bushes.
"Stanley!" Ford exclaimed, as he managed to snap the vines concealing his mouth. "How'd you know?"
"You don't have a really good poker face." Stan told him. "I could tell something was wrong the moment you left. So I followed you, and it's a good thing I did."
"Stan I have to get her back!" Dipper yelled. "I just got to!"
"No Dipper please!" Ford screamed. "I love her too, but one soul is not more important than the other. If we let Bill go he will be unstoppable, there is no more Zodiac remember!"
Dipper bit his lip, he knew this already, but he didn't care, all he wanted was Mabel back, this was all his fault, if he had not neglected her the past five weeks they'd be doing what they've done Saturday since school started. Beige watching their favorite shows, not out here trying to reconnect with each other through some heart stopping adventure.
This was all his fault!
"Come on Pine Tree you know what to do." Bill urged. "Set me free!"
"Dipper think of what Mabel would have wanted!" Ford yelled. "She wouldn't want this!"
Dipper knew he was right, but he just couldn't do it, he couldn't imagine a world without Mabel! "How do I know?" He asked softly. "How do I know you'll keep your word once I free you?"
"Pine Tree of course I will." Bill cooed. "After all you're my Pine Tree, and I'll be honest kid, I've grown rather attached."
Dipper bit his lip as Bill began to run his fingers through his hair, tossing his hat aside. "I want my Pine Tree happy, and he's not happy without his sister."
"Dipper, don't listen to him!" Ford screamed trying to break free!
Stan tried to charge but more vines shot up and tied him down alongside his brother.
"You two are not ruining this for me again!" Bill screamed. "This is Pine Tree's decision." He hissed. "Now chose!" He growled.
Tears streamed down his face, but he couldn't bring himself to do what had to be done; he couldn't let go of Mabel. "You…" he whispered. "I chose to free you!"
"Dipper NO!" The Stan twins screamed, but it was too late.
Bill's eye curved into a wicked smile, as the symbols of the elements fire, water, air, earth, and wind formed in the sand around them. One By one they cracked, and withered until they were all gone.
He was free!
Bill allowed his entire being to be fill with his new found power and freedom. He laughed wickedly as the ground continued to crack around them. "Finally! This realm is mine once more!" he began to rose. "Now it's time to open up the rift and start the endless fun once more."
"NO!" Dipper grabbed his leg, hanging on for dear life.
"What!" Bill looked down ready to kick him, but his next words stopped him.
"You promised, you promised you'd heal her, you promised you'd bring her back!" Dipper screamed. "Please Bill, Please you promised!"
Bill sighs, "Oh Pine Tree, silly me how could I have forgotten?" he floats back down, but Dipper remains at his feet.
"Please!" He cried.
"Of course, a deals a deal." Bill assured him and touched Mabel's head.
She glows a flaming blue, and then she moans softly. "Dipper?" she asked.
"Mabel!" Dipper embraces her, as she passed out in his arms, still weak from it all, but still very alive.
"See now aren't I a compassionate master?" Bill asked.
"Compassionate?" Ford snapped.
"Yeah we didn't even shake on that deal." Bill reasoned. "And I still kept my promise."
"Master?" Dipper looked up at him wide eyed, and somewhat afraid.
Oh yes, he was very afraid; and Bill loved it!
"Yeah Pine Tree don't you remember?" Bill asked, changing into his human form. "I'm going to keep you."
"Keep me?" Dipper asked with a shiver.
"Keep him?" Stan snapped.
"Bill!" Ford snapped. "What are you talking about, what could you possibly keep him for?"
"For this…" Bill whispered, before kissing Dipper deeply.
Dipper melted into the kiss, their tongues dueled, until Dipper pulled away desperate for breath.
"Dipper please tell me you haven't" Ford begged.
"Oh he has." Bill cooed. "Haven't you baby?"
Dipper moaned as Bill grinded up against him.
"Please Bill, you got what you wanted." He begged.
"No I only have a third." Bill mused. "I want the equation to get out of this hick town!" He snapped towards Ford.
"Never!" Ford shouted.
Suddenly Bill snatched Stan up by the hair. "Then I guess you can kiss your brother goodbye!"
"Bill no please." Dipper begged.
"Shush now my sapling." Bill said, as vines tied him down, and covered his mouth. "I'll be with you in a moment my delectable little morsel." He growled. "But right now the grownups are talking." He turned back to Ford his claws digging into Stan's neck. "Now tell me the equation, or I waste him!"
Ford wanted to hold back, but Bill held all the cards, he knew he wanted Dipper to sacrifice Mabel, but if he had been Dipper he would have given in too, and he was about to show it!
Bill smiled as Ford spouted out the equation in the native tongue of the ancient people of Gravity Falls. "See not even you could have done it!"
Ford bowed his head, and Bill threw Stan aside, Ford looked desperately to his brother. Stan was winded, but fine for now. 'But for how long?' he wondered.
Bill approached his Pine Tree, licking his lips greedily. "Now one last thing, agree to be mine forever, and I'll spare them otherwise they die, and I sell Mabel off to my brother, you know the dragon that was feasting on her earlier."
Dipper's eyes widen and they blazed with rage, and as the vines freed his mouth he spat in the monsters face. "You planed this all along!"
"Of course I did baby." Bill mused. "This is me we're talking about."
"I hate you!" Dipper screamed. "I hate you; I hate you, I-" Dipper stopped as Bill forced him into another heated kiss. Dipper tries to resist but it's useless.
"Sorry kid but no one can resist me once they've had me." Bill mused, "Just ask old Fordsy he knows!"
Ford glared him down with white hot anger. "How dare you use his emotions to manipulate him?" He screamed. "Doing it to me is one thing, but a child-"
"Oh he's no child, not anymore, I've ruined his innocent little mind, haven't I baby." He teased.
"Go to hell Bill!" Dipper said spitting in his face once more.
"Either way you will be mine sapling, I just thought you wanted to keep your family alive, after all you just got Shooting Star back." Bill mused.
Anger swelled inside of him, but Dipper knew he was out done. "Fine…" He said tears rolling down his face. "I'm yours."
"Perfect!" Bill kissed him deeply, and Dipper shivered as blue flames engulfed his entire body.
Ford felt sick to his Stomach, Bill had won.
Bill smiled as he pulled away from his pet. "Good now let's get this party started!"
