Chapter 01: Clashing Against Satan Red
*Tik-Tok* *Tik-Tok* *Tik-Tok*
The sound of the clock is the only thing I can hear in the dark room. Even with my race's advantages, I can barely see what is inside this room. I sit on the chair I usually sit on and let out a deep sigh.
Why does it have to be this difficult? Where did it go wrong? Should I do something to undo the damage? My mind is in overdrive to think of a solution.
This is the biggest mistake I have made during the fifteen years since I've been reborn into this world. And honestly? I still have no clue how to face the trouble yet.
This trouble is unlike the usual problems I have faced in the past. Meaning I can't just solve it by beating up the other party. No… why did I even think about beating up the other side?
What is wrong with me? When did I stoop so low to think about beating up my little sister?
What? Yes, laugh if you want. I am sulking in my room because of my ten-year-old little sister.
"Nii-sama, you idiot! I hate you!" Her voice is still echoing in my mind. This was the first time she told me she hated me. What should I do?
I bit my thumb nail. That is all his fault! If not for him, my little sister won't tell me she hates me.
Flashback starts,
"What do you mean you told her about our battle five years ago?!" I shouted at the red-haired Satan in front of me.
"Ehe," the man had galls to rub the back of his head.
"What do you mean 'Ehe'?! I should have known you would use an underhanded method to make me lose," I growled.
My little sister is looking at us with tears on the verge of falling from her eyes. "Nii-sama, you idiot! I hate you!" she shouted and ran away.
"You see that? Why would you tell her that! She hates me now and it's your fault, you damn siscon!" I grabbed his shirt's collar and started shaking back and forth.
"Your… hypocrisy… is… showing… Savion," The words came out from the red bastard's mouth. "And… it… was… Grayfia… who… told… her… about… the… thing… from… five… years… ago," he continued.
Wow… this bastard… He threw his wife under the bus. I knew Grayfia was not the kind of woman who does this but… who cares? I need someone to vent my frustration.
I released my hold on Sirzechs' collar and turned my head toward the maid standing not too far away from us. Noticing my stare, she looks at us and tilts her head. No, acting cute will not let you escape from my wrath.
I walked toward her slowly, with a warm smile on my face. Seeing me walking toward her, Grayfia raised one of her eyebrows.
"Grayfia," I give her a warm smile and grab her shoulders.
"Lord Savion… May I—," she didn't even finish saying before I started shaking her back and forth.
"If you want to blame, blame your husband, Grayfia. You are in this situation because of him," I started. Wait… that came out wrong. Why did I sound like the guy from those NTR doujins? Well, whatever.
"He… told… you… it… was… my… fault," It was not even a question. She knew from the start what her husband said.
"I knew it was not you, but he is our leader, so I can't keep shaking him in front of the other Satans," I answered. I knew she could easily break free from me if she wanted to, but she didn't. What a good maid/wife, taking the fall of her master/husband.
After bullying Grayfia for a minute or two, I decided it was enough and released her. She teleported away as soon as she got released while covering her mouth. Well… I might have gone a little overboard.
I smirked at the main culprit, Satan Red. "You are sleeping on the sofa tonight," I said, making him wince.
"But I am going to win the next round," he returned a smirk, making me scowl.
"Heh," I snorted. "I am still leading with 56-52, meaning I am a better siscon than you will ever be," I folded my arms and looked at him with a superior look.
I heard the bald Satan woke up from his sleep and ask, "Are they at it again?"
"The usual," Lord Ajuka replied.
"Well, I am going back to sleep," the dude went back to sleep standing.
"That's it! I am going back to my room!" I gave a harsh glare at the red-haired Satan and left.
Flashback ends,
And that's how I am sitting alone in my room. My little sister hates me now. I should kill myself.
*Click*
Someone switched on the light inside my room, making me wince. "Nii-sama," I heard my little sister's voice coming from the door.
"Sona," standing up from my chair, I nodded at her. "What brings you here?" I asked, not knowing how to face my sister.
"Wahhh! I am sorry, Nii-sama!" She rushed toward me, tears falling down from her eyes. "I'm sorry for shouting at you earlier," she gave me a hug, which I unconsciously bent down and returned the hug. "I didn't mean what I said," she sobbed in my arms.
"There, there, don't be sad, Sona. I am not mad at you," I slowly rubbed her back. "Whatever you say or do, your Nii-sama will never be mad at you," I continued, making her feel comfortable. "Even if your action leads to the three way war between the three factions, I won't be mad at you," I added.
"Stupid Nii-sama, I am not that bad," Sona looks up from my chest and makes a cute pout.
I laughed softly, looking at my little sister tenderly. "Are you feeling better now, Sona?"
"Un," Little Sona nodded, but her face was still buried in my chest. "Nii-sama is the best," she added.
"But your Nii-sama is nothing without you, Sona," I gently pat her head. "You are the light of my life. You bring enjoyment and make me forget all the sadness and worries," I continued. "Just like how you switch on the light of this room. All my worries disappeared as soon as I saw you," I added, a warm smile appearing on my face.
"Un," Sona hummed. "I love you, Nii-sama," she mumbled.
Man… No matter how many times I've heard her say it, that sentence always brings a smile to my face. I lifted her from her hip while she was still hugging me. Sitting on the chair, I slowly place her on my lap.
"I love you too, Sona," I answered. A smile beams from her face, making my heart feel warm.
We stay like that without moving. Sona is a precious little sister of mine, and I am not letting her become a helpless little girl who is waiting to be saved.
*BAM!*
My thought was cut short as someone opened the door with a bang. Standing there is the Nee-sama of ours wearing her glorious magical girl outfit.
"Sa-chan! So-tan! You meanies! You forgot about your beloved Nee-sama!" She shouted and dived toward us, giving Sona and me a bear hug.
"There, there, Nee-sama. We didn't forget about you," I pat her back.
"Ehe, Sa-chan understands his Nee-sama the most," A dumb smile appears on her face. To describe our relationship, it is like this;
Serafall Nee-sama — (obsessed) → Savion — (obsessed) → Sona
It is just that simple. Like how I am obsessed with Sona, Nee-sama is also obsessed with me. Is this a Sitri thing? I do not know. But I have no problem with this relationship.
"I am going to Rias' house!" Pulling herself away from Nee-sama's hug, Sona got up from my lap and escaped the room.
"Seems like she still couldn't handle Nee-sama's huge affections," I smiled and glanced at the pouting Maou Shoujo beside me.
We hugged each other without moving an inch. Nee-sama placed herself on my lap after Sona escaped from her hug. Facing me, she puts her chin on my shoulder.
"Nee-sama, thank you," I thanked her before nibbling her neck, giving her a bite mark. "You sent Sona to me, didn't you?"
"Ahn~ Anything for my Sa-chan."
"En," I just nodded and didn't say anymore. We are comfortable with the silence since we have been nearly always together since I was born. Heck, I am still sleeping with Nee-sama in the same bed.
"Azazel requested your help, Sa-chan," Nee-sama mumbled.
"The pervert governor? That's new… He would usually call me directly if he needs something from me," I whispered into her ear.
"En," Nee-sama nods. "This is a formal request from him as a Governor General of the Fallen Angels," Nee-sama's answer got my interest.
"So? What does he need?"
"He wants you to help a new team he secretly formed," This… this made my eyes widen a little.
"I see…," I muttered.
"You knew about the team, didn't you?" Releasing her hug, she stares straight into my eyes.
"En," I nodded. Pulling out two books from my [Inventory], I showed those books to her.
"SLASHDØG… I see," Her serious look is adorable. "So, do you want to accept his request, Sa-chan?"
"Why not? It has been a while since I can go all out," I smiled. "And… Vali will also be there," And… my smile turned into a nasty one. We haven't seen Vali in real life, but we have read about him in the Light Novels.
"I will miss you, Sa-chan," Nee-sama leaned in and kissed my lips. It didn't take long to separate herself from me.
"I will miss you too, Nee-sama," This time, I leaned toward her and kissed her, which she returned.
There's nothing but our kissing sound in our room. Our relationship started when I was ten, the day before I turned ten years old. We had done basically anything aside from the final step.
"I am going now, Nee-sama," I pant for breath after releasing my lips from hers.
"Stay safe, Sa-chan!" She got up from my lap, leaving a spot of wetness on my pants. Well, nothing magic can't fix.
"I will, Nee-sama!" Grabbing the black coat hanging on the stand, I teleported out. My destination? To Ryoukuu.
Author's Note;
I've always wanted to write a DxD fanfiction, and this is my attempt at writing one. Well... this is my second time writing but don't mind the details.
This is DxD fanfic with MC's peerage members from across the Multiverse. But he will have to recruit them face-to-face.
And yes, Serafall already knew about Savion's [System]. Why? Well, that's for later chapters!
Thank you -Nezumi- for the beautiful cover art.
