I wanted to write another fanfic for Miraculous Ladybug and came up with the idea for Blending in. Evie is my OC.

This chapter is based on Ladybug and Chat Noir with some changes.

Alya has been at the school for a whole year already, meaning that she knows Marinette and Nino well.

The part with Chloe, Alya and Marinette happened before Evie arrived. Also Alya's not the new girl.

The story will be a slight AU and I will not be including all episodes as I want to use some OC Akuma's that I've come up with.

Also, I know that I haven't updated Miraculous in London for ages. I'm working on some new chapters for it.

"Many centuries ago, magic jewels bestowing extraordinary powers were created. These were the Miraculous. Throughout history, heroes have used these jewels for the good of the human race. Two of these jewels are more powerful than the others. The earrings of the ladybug which provide the power of creation and the ring of the black cat which gives the power of destruction. According to legend who ever controls both the jewels at the same time will be given absolute power. The legend also talks about the miraculous of the Snow Leopard which provides the power of invisibility."

"I want this power Nooroo. I must get my hands on these Miraculous, including the snow leopard," A male voice said. The room was dark, so it was hard to tell what the person looked like but Nooroo was a light purple butterfly-like creature. He had butterfly wings that had a long tail at each end. His eyes are dark purple. On his forehead was a purple spiral marking.

"Nobody knows where the miraculous are," Nooroo told the man.

"I found you, Nooroo. Remind me of your powers," The man said.

"The moth broach allows you to give someone there own superpowers and make that person your devoted follower," Nooroo said.

"And when it comes to luring superheroes, what could be better than creating supervillans," The man said.

"Master, the miraculous are not meant to be used for evil," Nooroo said.

"I must have that power. Your miraculous is in my control. I am your master now and you must obey me."

"Yes, Master," Nooroo said. The Kwami had no choice but to obey his new master.

"Nooroo, dark wings rise," The man said as Nooroo got pulled into the broach and a flurry of butterflies surrounded the man. "From this day on, I shall be known as Hawkmoth."

It was the end of Summer and the start of a new school year. It would be the second year that 14-year-old Evie Lewis found herself in a new city.

This time it was Paris, France. Last time it had been Glasgow in Scotland. Evie enjoyed travelling but she wished that her parents didn't have to move every year.

"Evie, you're going to be late for you first day at your new school," Her Mum said.

Evie sighed but got up. She brushed her hands through her long brown hair and then tied it back to keep it out of her hazel eyes. Her outfit was simple a pair of blue jeans, a plain pink top and a pair of white trainers.

"Here we go again," Evie thought to herself.

"Are you ready for school?" Her Mum asked.

"Yeah, I guess I am," Evie replied as she took a slice of toast from the plate. "I'll see you later."

Evie was almost at her new school. She stopped to check her phone and made sure that she was heading in the right direction when she noticed an elderly man. He'd dropped his wallet on the floor and appeared to be struggling to pick it up.

"Are you ok, Sir?" Evie asked as she picked the wallet up and gave it to him.

"Yes, thank you, Miss," The man said.

Evie smiled and then continued walking.

Evie arrived at her new school, College Francoise Dupont.

The outside building was tan with a blue cobblestone roof.

It was three stories tall. Evie thought the school looked welcoming. She walked inside and found herself standing in a courtyard. Evie knew that she had to find the headmaster's office but didn't know where it was. She looked around.

"You seem lost?" Someone said. Evie looked up and saw a girl with honey blonde hair in a pixie cut with bangs that almost covered her right eye and a tiny cowlick on top. Her eyes were blue and she wore a pink outfit.

"Do you know where Mr Damocles' office is?" Evie asked. "It's my first day here."

"I'll show you the way. I'm Rose by the way," Rose said.

"I'm Evie," Evie replied as she followed Rose up a set of stairs and along a corridor. Rose stopped at the end outside a door.

"Here we are," Rose said. "Mr Damocles' Office. Maybe we will have some classes together."

"Thank you," Evie said. "It's nice to met you, Rose."

Rose left and Evie knocked on the door.

"Come in," Mr Damocles said.

Evie walked into the office. Mr Damocles had amber eyes, large, bushy black eyebrows, grey sideburns and beard and a light grey moustache.

" Hello, How can I help you?" Mr Damocles asked.

"My names Evie. It's my first day here," Evie said.

"Ah, yes. Welcome to Francoise Dupont," Mr Damocles said as he took some paperwork out from a pile. "I have your timetable and some sheets for your teachers to sign. You will be in Miss Bustier's class."

Evie took the paperwork and looked at it. Her timetable didn't seem that bad.

She left Mr Damocles's office and made her way to her new class. Evie managed to find the classroom and paused outside the door before going in.

When Evie walked in, most of the students had already found seats. The only available seats were one at the front next to a boy with headphones or one at the back. Evie went to sit at the back.

"Welcome back students. I hope you had a good summer. Before we start we have a new student starting today," Miss Bustier said. "Would you like to introduce yourself?"

Evie didn't like this part. It was always awkward. She felt worried that people wouldn't like her.

"My names Evie. I moved here a few weeks ago from Glasgow in Scotland. I hope that I can make some friends here."

After a short introduction from Miss Bustier, Evie finds herself heading toward the library. She sat down at one of the tables.

"Hi, you're Evie, right?" Evie looked up and noticed two girls standing next to the table. One of the girls had medium length black hair with blue reflections that were tied back in two pigtails and blue eyes. "I'm Marinette and this is my friend Alya." Alya had greyish gold eyes, heart-shaped lips and a mole above her forehead. Her hair was reddish, brown with brilliant orange tips. It was wavy and came just past her shoulders.

"Yeah, my names Evie" Evie replied.

"Do you mind if we sit down?" Alya asked.

"You can sit here if you like," Evie said.

"Your accent's pretty," Marinette said.

"Thanks, I guess" Evie replied as the ground shook.

Students hurried over to the CCTV monitor. On the screen was something that Evie had never seen in her life. It was a large monster made of rock.

"KIMM" The Stone Being shouted.

"What's going on? He had Ivan's voice?" Marinette asked.

"Ivan?" Evie asked.

"Ivan's a boy in our class. He's seems scary but he's actually really nice. I don't think he meant for this to happen" Marinette replied.

"It's as if he's been transformed into a real life super villain. GPS, check, Battery, check. I'm so out of here" Alya said as she was about to run outside.

"Where are you going?" Marinette asked.

"Where there's a super villain, there's always a superhero close behind. No way am I missing this" Alya replied as she left the library.

"Alya's crazy," Evie said.

"Your may be right there. I'm going to head home. You should do the same if it's safe" Marinette said.

Evie watched Marinette leave.

Evie walked home. She didn't know what was going on.

"Mum," Evie called as she walked through the front door. "Are you home?"

Her Mum didn't answer. 'She must be at work'

Evie took her phone out of her pocket and sent her Mum her text.

"Mum, have you seen the news? Schools been shut and we have been sent home till the stone monster has been dealt with."

Her Mum replied almost as quickly as it took her to come out of the messaging app. She clicked back on it.

"Evie, I'm so glad you're safe. I will come home as soon as I can."

Evie put her phone down on her desk and that's when her hand brushed against a red box with a strange symbol on it. Evie looked at the box, it hadn't been there when she left for school. Maybe her mum left it for her.

Evie decided to open the box.

A bright silver/white light came out of the box. Evie covered her eyes. The light was bright. It flew around her and eventually faded.

Evie looked around her and gasped in shock at what she saw. Floating above the desk was a strange creature. It was mostly white in colour with black rosettes on its body. A long thin tail with the same black rosettes and small ears on its head were the most noticeable features. Evie also noticed the eyes. They were icy blue.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Evie," The creature said.

Evie screamed. At that moment she was glad that she was home alone. Nobody could hear her freaking out.

"Stay away from me."

"I won't hurt you, I'm here to help you," The creature told her. "Please just listen to what I have to tell you."

"Ok. What are you and how do you know my name?" Evie said.

"My names Starr and I'm your Kwami. You have been chosen to help save the world from evil" Starr said.

"Me, but I'm not special," Evie said. "Maybe you should look for someone else"

"You're the chosen one Evie. It will all be just fine" Starr told her as she took the bangle out of the box and held it out to Evie. "Trust yourself."

Evie looked around her room. She had only been here for a week and already she felt like her life would never be quite the same again.

"I'm not sure about this but I can't sit around and do nothing," Evie said. "How does this work?"

"To transform all you have to say is Starr, blend in. Your superpower allows you to become invisible for one minute, after you have used it you will have five minutes before you transform back." Starr told Evie

"Ok, I think I understand," Evie said.

"Starr, Blend in," Evie said, not realising that the Kwami hadn't fished talking.

As soon as Evie said those words, Starr disappeared into the miraculous. Evie's clothes were now replaced with a skin-tight white, an almost grey suit that covered most of her body with black rosettes dotted all over the suit. She wore a pair of white gloves that went all the way up her arms. On her feet, she wore white boots with fur on top of them. She also had a white almost grey domino-style mask on her face. The mask had four black rosettes. Her weapon was a small hula hoop with a rope string attached to it.

Evie looked at herself in the mirror. She had to admit that the outfit suited her.

"Ok, let's see. Apparently, I have superpowers and something that looks like the toy I played with as a child" Evie thought to herself as she put her hand around the hoop. "Maybe if I throw the rope"

Evie tossed it and then found herself being pulled in the air by it. "I wasn't expecting that."

Evie landed on the ground. It was then that she realised she wasn't alone. Another girl and a boy were near her. They appeared to be tangled in a yo-yo string hanging from a baton. The girl seemed to be around Evie's age. She wore a mostly red skintight suit with black spots on it. Her mask was red with four black spots, two in the middle and two on the edges. Her hair was dark blue and tied back in two pigtails with long red ribbons. The boy was taller and had a black skintight suit on with a silver bell at the top. On his head he had black ears and around his waist, a black long belt.

"Well, hey there. Nice of you to drop in" The boy said.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't do it on purpose" The girl replied.

"I'm guessing that you're the partners my Kwami told me about. I'm... Chat Noir, yeah Chat Noir. What about you?" The boy now known as Chat Noir asked.

"I'm Ma... err...Ma..uhh" The girl pulls the Yo-Yo and string and it hits Chat Noir on the head. "Madly clumsy. I'm so clumsy"

"I haven't thought of one yet," Evie said. "I don't think I'm cut out for this superhero thing."

"No sweat. We are all learning the ropes" Chat Noir said. Behind them, a building fell to the ground. Chat Noir extends his baton and uses it as a vaulting pole to get to the rooftop.

"Where are you going?" The girl dressed in the red and black suit asked.

"To save Paris" Chat Noir replied.

"Are you coming?" Evie asked. She wasn't certain that she wanted to do this but now that she had two teammates in the same situation as her it didn't feel so bad. "We are a team. I'm scared as well but think of all the people that could get hurt if we don't stop Stoneheart."

Evie uses her weapon to get to the rooftop. She couldn't force the girl to join them.

Evie finds herself standing on the roof looking down at some of the students that had just finished PE. She noticed Rose as one of them. Stoneheart had just arrived and the students panicked, trying to get away.

Stoneheart went after Kim, who tried to run away but fell over.

"Hey, it's not very nice to pick on people who are smaller than you," Chat Noir said.

"I guess you're talking about yourself," Stoneheart said. Chat Noir hit Stoneheart with his baton. It didn't do anything except make him get bigger.

Stoneheart picked up a football net and threw it. The net was about to it Alya but Evie jumped down and knocked the pair of them out the way just in time.

"Where did you come from?" Alya asked. "Three superheroes. OMG. This is the best day ever."

"If I was you, I wouldn't get any closer. It's not safe" Evie said. Looking over she noticed that the girl in the red and black suit had joined them.

"Sorry it took so long."

"It's ok" Chat Noir replied "Now let's kick his rocky behind."

"Wait, it won't work. He gets bigger every time we attack him. Let's try a different way."

"Different. Lets use our powers" Chat Noir suggested. "Cataclysm. Apparently I destroy what I touch"

"I don't need a superpower to destroy everything" Ladybug replied.

Chat Noir used his power on a goal post.

"No, don't do that." It was too late.

Evie watched as Chat Noir tried to use his power again, only to discover that it didn't work. "I guess I only get one shot at using my power."

"Then you only have five minutes before you transform back. Didn't you listen to your Kwami." Ladybug asked.

"I guess I was a bit excited about my new life."

"Well, I guess it's up to me," Ladybug said as she tossed her Yo-Yo in the air. "Lucky Charm."

A bright red light appeared and from it came a wetsuit in a ladybug themed pattern.

"Superpower?" Evie asked. "What are you going to do with that?"

"My Kwami said I have to break the object with the Akuma," Ladybug replied.

"Well, he's made from stone," Chat Noir said.

"His right hand, it's still closed. He never opens it. The object isn't on him. It's in his hand," Ladybug said as she got an idea on how to use her Lucky Charm.

"Use your power now. Trust me," Ladybug said as she looked at Evie.

"Vanish," Evie said as she activated her power.

"Chat Noir, trust me as well. Don't resist"

Ladybug tied her Yo-Yo around Chat's legs and tossed him at Stoneheart.

"This girls crazy" Chat shouts.

"Catch me if you can," Ladybug said. Evie reappeared.

"What? Where did you come from?" Stoneheart asked.

"Ok, last step. Alya the tap, turn it on please"

The lucky charm suit that Ladybug had filled up with water. Stoneheart dropped the object that held the Akuma. Ladybug jumped out of his hand and broke a ball of paper. A strange-looking dark purple butterfly flies out. Stoneheart turns back into Ivan.

"What's going on?" What am I doing here?" Ivan asked.

"That was awesome. Great plan" Evie said.

"Yeah, that was amazing Miss...Uh...Buglady" Chat Noir said as his miraculous beeped.

"You should go. Our identities must be kept secret" Ladybug said.

"See you next time," Chat said as he used his baton to jump up to the roof of the stadium.

Ladybug said a few words to Ivan and Evie was about to leave when Alya rushed over with her phone in her hand.

"Uncanny, amazing, spectacular! Are you gonna be protecting Paris from now on? How did you get your powers? Oh, I've got a ton of questions to ask both of you? What shall I call you?"

"Ladybug," Ladybug said.

"Snow Leopard," Evie said.

"Super awesome," Alya said as the two new heroes left.

Evie managed to get home without anyone seeing her. She entered her room through a window. Her transformation dropped almost instantly. Starr fell out the miraculous and Evie quickly placed her other hand out to catch the Kwami.

"You ok?" Evie asked.

"Just hungry," Starr said.

"What do you eat?" Evie asked. "I have some biscuits here but there's food in the kitchen"

Evie got the biscuits out from her bag and gave one to Starr who looked at it before eating it.

"Thank you, Evie," Starr said.

Evie heard the front door of the apartment open.

"Evie, I'm home" Her Mum called. Evie came out of her room. She tried to look as normal as possible. She didn't want her Mum knowing what she had really been up to. "I'm so glad that you're safe. When I saw what happened at your school, I tried to come home quickly but the roads were blocked."

"I'm ok, Mum. I'm more concerned about the boy from my school," Evie said. Her Mum turned the TV on and went to the news channel.

"Evie, you might want to watch this," Her Mum said.

"Just as Paris is about to celebrate the appearance of our three new superheroes, Ladybug, Chat Noir and Snow Leopard a new wave of panic is sweeping across the city. Dozens of people have been transformed into stone monsters. It's unbelievable."

Evie wasn't sure what to think of the news. She thought that Stoneheart had been stopped.

In her room, Evie asked Starr about what she had seen on the news.

"Did Ladybug capture the Akuma?" Starr asked.

"The butterfly, I don't think she did," Evie said.

"An Akuma can multiply if it's not captured by the holder of the Ladybug miraculous. If the boys emotions become negative again then he will be able to control the stone beings and use them as an army." Starr said.

"So we messed up. I told you I wasn't the right person. I could have told Ladybug to capture the Akuma" Evie

said.

"It's not your fault, Evie," Starr said.

Evie didn't say anything else. She looked at the bangle on her wrist and then back to her Kwami. She could only hope that Ladybug didn't give up after today.
