Chapter 1: Meeting the Girls

"Lana! We have to go! Scar and Zira, they're invading the Pride Lands!" Nala cried.

"What!?" I shouted.

"Hurry!" Nala cried.

"Okay, I'm coming!" I called. Together, Nala, Simba, and the rest of the Pride Landers and I ran out of Pride Rock, towards Scar and Zira. Hello, my name is Lana and I have been ruling Pride Rock with Simba and my wife, Nala. My family helped me rule Pride Rock as well. Speaking of my family, let me introduce you to them.

My mother and father are Uru and Ahadi. Uru and Ahadi adopted me long ago when I first entered the Pride Lands. I have a brother named Mufasa. Mufasa has a wife named Sarabi who is my sister-in-law. Together they have a son named Simba who is my nephew. I have a wife named Nala. Nala is married to Simba too. It's a long story. After Scar has been defeated, Simba and Nala fall in love with each other. Nala fell in love with me too. Before we knew it, we were married, ruling Pride Rock together.

Together, Simba and Nala have a daughter named Kiara. Kiara met a lion named Kovu. Together, they fell in love with each other and got married. Kovu has a sister named Vitani.

I also have another brother named Scar. Scar is also my husband. Let me explain. A long time ago, Scar forced me to marry him, to be his wife. Scar threatened that if I didn't marry him, then he would kill me and the rest of my family so I had no choice but to marry him. Luckily, I was still able to marry Nala. I'm glad I get to be with the person I fell in love with.

I also have an aunt named Sarafina, who is Nala's mother.

Now for my appearance: I have long brown curly hair that is pulled back into a ponytail. I have green eyes and a white-toned skin color. I have a visible scar on my right eye that my father gave me a long time ago, back when he was abusive towards me. The top half of my left ear is cut off, another mark from my father's abuse.

As for my clothes, I like to wear graphic T-shirts and leggings. In the wintertime, I like to wear sweaters, and sometimes leggings. Now, back to the story.

Nala, Simba, the rest of the Pride Landers, and I continue to run towards Scar and Zira. They were plotting another attack, to take over the Pride Lands again. As queen, I could not allow that to happen. Not again. After a while of running, we saw them, standing before us with smirks on their faces. I glared at them, getting into my fighting position.

"Scar, this ends now," Simba said firmly.

"Oh, I don't think so, Simba. The Pride Lands belong to me. And you, my dear Nala, you have something else that belongs to me as well." Scar said.

Nala growled, taking a protective step in front of me. "You will not lay a paw on my wife. I will make sure of that." Nala growled.

"SHE'S MINE!" Scar roared.

"Attack!" Zira yelled. Together, Zira and Scar lunged at us, attacking us with all their might. We fought back the best we could but they were stronger. Simba and Nala were busy, holding Scar off. Nala ordered me to stay behind her and not interfere, so I did that, doing my best to stay out of their way. When Zira attacked me, Nala charged at her. Nala pinned Zira down with all her might.

I looked over at Simba and Scar, who were still fighting. Scar managed to get past Simba. Scar leaped up to attack me, pinning me down. Scar's nails were digging into my skin. I got nervous when he leaned in, his teeth dangerously close to my face. "You thought you could escape me, Lana? Think again. I'll make sure that you never escape from me." Scar growled.

I tried escaping from Scar's grip but his grip was too strong. I screamed when Scar raised his paw, his claws glinting dangerously in the bright light. Then everything went black.

I woke up with a massive headache. I couldn't remember anything that happened. When my vision returned, I noticed I was in a room with lots of furniture. There was a dining table on the second floor with a big bookshelf that held lots of books. There was a big flat-screen TV in the middle of the room. I was lying on a bed on the second floor. I then noticed five girls on the second floor.

One of them had pink hair, and pink eyes, and wore pink clothing. The other girl had orange hair, and orange eyes, and wore orange clothing. The third girl had yellow hair, and yellow eyes, and wore yellow clothing. The fourth girl had green hair, and green eyes, and wore green clothes. The fifth girl had blue hair, and blue eyes, and wore blue clothes. The girls were talking and laughing with each other. They seemed to be happy.

I groaned, my headache worsening. I noticed my arm and neck were wrapped up in bandages. Now my memory was coming back to me. I remember fighting with Zira and Scar. Scar was fighting to have control over Pride Rock again. Slowly I sat up, swinging my legs over the bed.

"Hello?" I called out. I got the girl's attention. They turned towards me, quickly walking up to the second floor.

"Oh, you're awake. You had us worried." The blue-haired girl said.

"Are you okay? That was a pretty heavy hit you took there." The orange-haired girl said.

"Yeah, I'm okay," I said.

"What's your name?" The pink-haired girl said.

"My name is Lana," I said.

"Hello, Lana. Nice to meet you. My name is Emily." The pink-haired girl said.

"And I'm Kelsey." The orange-haired girl said.

"My name is Lily." The yellow-haired girl said.

"I'm April." The green-haired girl said.

"And my name is Chloe." The blue-haired girl said.

"It's nice to meet you all," I said with a small smile. My smile faded when I began to think about my family again. Where are they? Oh, I hope they are doing okay. I felt a tear slip down my cheek.

"Hey, are you okay? What's wrong?" Emily asked me.

"My family," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "Do you know where my family is?"

"You're family?" Chloe questioned.

"Yeah," I said.

"No, I'm sorry. We haven't seen them." Chloe said. I lowered my head down in sadness. I have lost my family. I might never see them again. Emily put a comforting hand on my shoulder. "Oh, Lana. Don't be sad. You can stay with us. We will help you find your family. I promise." Emily said.

"You mean it?" I asked.

"Of course. You can think of us as your second family." April said.

"We're happy to have another friend on our team," Lily said.

I jumped up, hugging them tightly, tears of joy streaming down my face. "Thank you. Thank you guys so much." I said. After we hugged, we got to know each other a bit more. The girls showed me around the place I was in which was called The Library of Legends. The place was beautiful, with bright green grass, golden lights, and books everywhere. They explained to me the magic of the library. Emily showed me some of her favorite books.

Soon, my thoughts went back to my family. I missed them so much. But one day, I will find them and reunite with them again.
