At the school, the Zodiac team is in classes as they are in Math class while Jacob explains the news. "Wait, so Lila was taken out of the Alliance Rings just today?" Sam asked in surprise.
"That's what my dad told me," Jacob said with a shrug. "Unfortunately, Gabriel and Mrs. Tsurugi made a business change and replaced Lila with Kagami the female face of Alliance."
"That doesn't sound too bad," Molly said with a brow.
"It wouldn't be if they weren't using Alliance to lie that Adrien and Kagami are a couple," Jacob growled in disgust.
Sam choked on his spit as he coughed, "E-e-excuse me?!" He asked in shock.
"Okay, they are seriously crossing a line," Kara said in huge annoyance. "I mean, while I'm relieved that Lila is totally off the rings, saying their children are a couple just to increase publicity for their companies? That's false advertising!"
"Yeah, well, my Dad didn't like that either when I told him," Jacob said with an annoying look. "Honestly, those two just don't know when to take no for an answer."
Daniel was the most shocked, as he remembered that his mother was in charge of the updates to Alliance, "My, my mom went along with this?" He asked himself.
"What was that, Dan?" Kara asked.
"Oh, nothing. Just talking to myself." Daniel assured before he chuckled. "But we can still laugh."
"On what?" Molly asked.
"By imagining how Lila is taking this," Daniel said with an amusing smirk.
Sam chuckled, "Heh, oh yeah. I bet she's throwing a Volpina right now!" He joked.
"If she did, we would be seeing illusions," Molly said with a chuckle. "Though, if she does, that might be a chance for us to get Trixx and her Miraculous back." She said in thought.
"So maybe this won't be so bad," Kara said in hope.
Daniel looked away, "I don't know, guys. If Volpina makes her move again, things could get messy," He said.
"What makes you say that?" Sam asked.
"Because when it comes to Lila from what Marinette and our little truth sayer over here says," Daniel started while gesturing to Molly, who gave a slight blush, "Lila has this power to always get what she wants one way or another."
They all look concerned. "It's true, and even with the others now knowing how Lila lies, it can be even more messy with her," Jacob said while rubbing his chin.
"So we better watch our tails," Sam suggested as they continued to focus on their work, knowing they'd be dealing with Lila sooner rather than later.
"Mom, I can't believe you would agree to false advertising for Alliance!" Daniel said to his mom over the phone as it was now lunch period. "You know Adrien is in a relationship with Marinette, you saw it yourself!" He
"I know, I know, son. And I am not proud of this either." Tara said to her son in a solemn look. "But it was out of my hands. Mrs. Tsurugi ordered us to put in that update, by word from Gabriel Agreste himself, saying that their children were in a relationship now." She explained.
"Why didn't you tell them it was a lie? You're the company's top and most trusted employee, I know they'd believe you." Daniel stated.
"I tried to tell Mrs. Tsurugi that she couldn't use the Alliance or her daughter in such a way, in response she said if this was too much for me to handle I was free to leave it to someone else," Tara answered solemnly.
Daniel narrowed his eyes, "In other words, she threatened to fire you if you said anything against Adrien and Kagami's relationship." He concluded.
"That's how it seems," Tara nodded. "I'm sorry, son. I know that Adrien and Marinette are in love, but even I can't control everything in Tsurugi Industries, even if it is all lies."
"It's okay, Mom. I understand. At least you tried." Daniel said softly. "Just, try and give me the heads up next time, okay?" He asked.
"I will, son. Have a good day." Tara said with a smile.
"Thanks, you too." Daniel nodded as he ended the call and looked at his friends, "Sorry guys, looks like my mom is as helpless as we are right now," He said.
"It's okay, Daniel. At least you know your mom isn't a part of this." Molly said with an assuring smile.
Sam clenched his fists. "That blind snake! Threatening to fire her best worker simply to hide the truth?!" He said in anger.
"Yeah! I mean seriously, it's like she thinks they're puppets!" Kara yelled out with her arms crossed. "With bosses like them, who needs criminals?" She retorted.
"I wouldn't be surprised if she and Mr. Agreste pulled a move like that on my dad," Jacob said with an angry look, "There's no way he'd still fund Alliance if it's doing false advertising now."
"Seriously, it's like they feel like they control everything," Daniel said in thought while placing a finger on his chin. "You know, this feels like a Monarch thing to do."
"Yeah. We know that Monarch has someone working in Tsurugi's Industries or the Agreste Fashion to get him the Alliance." Sam said with his arms crossed. "And we already suspected Mrs. Tsurugi after Bugfighter."
"And now considering she's willing to falsely advertise her product with her daughter and threatening to fire her best employee simply because she wanted to keep up this lie," Molly said as she furrowed her brows, "Not to mention, during the Matari Gozen thing, she had on a bunch of Alliance rings for no reason, almost like she wanted to be akumatized and have a lot of powers."
"Either she just wanted to test out multiple rings at once or maybe she planned this," Daniel said with a serious look. "And considering that these Miraculous-Powered Akumas happened after Alliance was created, I think we found Monarch's mole."
The others looked at him in surprise before they all nodded in realization. "So Mrs. Tsurugi is the mole for Monarch this whole time!" Kara exclaimed.
"They must've planned this to try and get Marinette and Adrien's Miraculous the moment Monarch first appeared!" Sam yelled while slamming the table in frustration.
"Even I didn't see that coming," Molly said in shock.
"Now hold on, while it does look like Mrs. Tsurugi is our culprit, we can't say it without proof," Jacob pointed out.
"He's right. While it may look like Mrs. Tsurugi is the mole, we don't have physical evidence to prove it to the authorities and everyone," Daniel added. "We need to do some more digging to find them,"
"But how?" Sam asked. "Mrs. Tsurugi is a brilliant-minded woman and head of the company. Like Bob Roth, it would be tough," He stated.
"Mmm, maybe Kagami can help us with this. I know she would never approve of her mother using her name to lie to people that she and Adrien are still a couple." Daniel suggested.
"If she could. I mean, I get she has the heart to stand up to her mother now and then, but even Kagami might not get through that blind bat." Kara stated. "Seriously, I keep forgetting that woman is blind,"
"Well, we have to at least try. Otherwise, I think Adrien, Kagami, and the others are gonna get one kick out of this." Jacob commented.
"Well, we talk to them when school is over. And let's hope they are taking it well because if everyone knows about this update, I think Adrien would be angry at this point." Molly said.
"Yeah, let's hope so. And let's hope Kagami will understand. We need the proof if we want to stop Monarch and his mole altogether," Daniel said seriously, knowing that the greatest villains don't always where costumes, and that makes them harder to defeat.
After lunch, they are back in class while Daniel is still in thought and looking deep in thought before Jacob nudges him. "Hey man, are you still thinking about Monarch's next move?" He asked.
"Who do you think? It's all I can think about each time we get one Miraculous back from him," Daniel said while still focused on his desk. "It's already hard to figure out Monarch's identity, but now, it feels like even if we do defeat him this fight won't be over."
"You may be right, bro. Because even if we do beat Monarch, this war may still go on." Sam said in agreement. "But I'm sure that whatever comes next, we face it together."
"For now, let's focus on the current task: Defeating Monarch." Molly reminded, "With the Peacock Miraculous with Felix, we still have to get the last two Miraculous: The Fox and the Bee." She counted.
"And after that, we can focus on Ladybug and Cat Noir's original goal: Getting Monarch's Miraculous," Kara said.
"If we find that stinking lair of his to get it." Jacob reminded them. "Even after all this time, we haven't found a single trace of his hideout."
"We'll find it," Daniel assured them. "It's only a matter of time. Felix said he knows Monarch's true Identity, and once we get the last two jewels back, we'll take the fight right to Monarch's doorstep." He told them.
Just then, they hear beeping sounds as the five Zodiacs look around at their class looking at their Alliance Rings, which showed a red screen with a symbol on it. "Update complete." A familiar voice spoke, which made the five thrown into the loop.
"Uh, was that Lila's voice that just spoke through the rings?" Sam asked in concern.
"Uh-oh," Molly said, getting a bad feeling.
"Welcome. I am Hoaxer, your new source of information." The rings said as Lila appeared on the rings' holo-screens, in a costume similar to Volpina but she was black and red. "Revelation. You want to know why Marinette is always absent and doesn't fulfill her duties as class representative?" She asked as a video showed Marinette running into an alley.
"Oh, I don't like the sound of this," Jacob said in worry.
"Another perfect opportunity to akumatize that stupid Lila!" Marinette spoke through the video as she then changed into Paris's worst enemy, Monarch!
"WHAT THE HECK?!" The Five Zodiacs said in shock.
"Okay, that is not how things should go!" Molly yelled out in slight anger.
"Because Monarch is her! Save Paris, my followers. Catch Marinette." Hoaxer ordered.
"Like anyone would listen to that…" Jacob trailed off as they saw everyone standing from this desk.
"Marientte is Monarch!" A class student yelled.
"Let's get her!" Another yelled out.
"Go students! Let's find her!" The teacher yelled out as they all walked out of the classroom in rage, leaving the five Zodiacs in shock.
"Uh, maybe she's better than we thought," Molly said in concern.
"Wait, why are we the only ones not affected?" Sam asked in confusion.
Daniel realized, "Her powers only work on people with Alliance Rings, we don't have them!" He called out.
"Which means the others don't have the rings either, but…" Kara trailed off as she remembered something, "But Chloe, Alya, and Zoe are wearing rings!"
"And they know ours and the others' Identities!" Sam added as he turned to them in worry, "Meaning if Hoaxer orders for anyone who knows the Miraculous heroes to reveal them."
"Uh-oh," Jacob muttered in dread.
"We gotta move, now!" Daniel exclaimed as he stood up. "Huanlong, Heaven's Ascend!"
"Bahiu, Earth Rise!"
"Quinlong, Wind Rage!"
"Xuan Wu, Water Flow!"
"Nan Fang, Fire it up!"
The five Zodiacs transformed into their hero forms as they rushed out of the school and jumped away.
A little bit later, they met up with the other heroes as they saw that everyone in Paris was searching for Marinette. "Guys, we've got a big, no huge, no gigantic, no enormous no, what's another word?" Hydrake asked tapping his chin.
"Colossal?" Viperion offered.
"Yeah, that's the one," Hydrake said before panicking again. "We have a colossal problem!"
"We know, Lila is akumatize, framed Marinette of being Monarch, which makes no sense!" Cat Noir as he gave Ladybug a flirty smile while leaning on his staff, "You are far too beautiful to be that creep, Milady." He said.
"Which I'm flattered you think of me that way, Kitty," Ladybug said with the same flirting smile.
Phoenix snickered, "Hard to believe that once upon a time you could barely say two simple words to him." She teased Ladybug.
"Well, after knowing each other identities, I find it fair to make up for lost times," Ladybug explained as she scratched under Cat Noir's chin as he smiled.
"Hey! Can we focus on the important stuff please?" Dragold asked with a rolled eye. "We gotta stop Hoaxer before she makes Chloe, Zoe, and Alya say our identities."
"Yeah? How?!" King Monkey asked.
"Yeah. She's everywhere and nowhere at the same time." Ms. Hound stated.
"I suggest we capture someone with an Alliance and take their ring to study how it works," Hydrake suggested. "They seemed to be only affected by those with Alliance rings."
"I'm down. And I know just the person." Ms. Hound said with a smirk.
A little bit later, they saw Officer Roger looking through a trash can while looking for Marinette before Ladybug caught him by her yo-yo and yanked him upside down.
Ms. Hound then walked up to Roger and took off his ring, which made his red eyes go back to normal as he looked at the heroes. "Miraculous Heroes? What happened?" He asked in confusion.
"You were used by an akumatized supervillain." Ms. Hound explained. "Are you alright da-I mean Officer Roger?" She asked.
"I'm alright, thank you Ms. Hound," Roger said, which made Ms. Hound smile.
"So we just need to remove the ring to escape the Hoaxer's influence," Ladybug concluded.
"Good to know, but we're not supposed to take everyone's rings off, are we?" Cat Noir asked.
"He's right, practically everyone in the city has a ring," Purple Tigress reminded.
Rooster Bold slouched, "Greaaat, now what are we gonna do?" He asked sarcastically.
"We need to get Hoaxer out of her ring and reveal herself but how?" Ladybug said while thinking.
"Well, at least it can't get any worse," Polymouse said.
Caspian looked aghast, "Wha-Are you crazy?! You never say stuff like that out loud!" He exasperated with a hand to his face.
Just then, they saw all the controlled people in Paris climbing the building they were on while the police's chopter hovered over them.
"Revelation, team!" Cat Noir realized.
"Hoaxer's connected to all the Alliance rings! That's how she located us!" Dragold yelled in frustration.
Ms. Hound then gave her father back his ring. "Do not put the ring back on under any circumstances," She instructed as Roger nodded his head in determination as the heroes rushed off with the people following them.
They then hid behind the windows of a building as the copter flew past them.
"We're not gonna get anywhere like this!" Pegasus stated, "If we could just extract the Fox Miraculous from Hoaxer this would be a whole lot easier."
"What makes you think the Fox Miraculous is being used?" Ryuko asked.
"Because the way she's telling these fake revelations, this has the Fox Miraculous abilities to create illusions and lies written all over it." Pegasus pointed out.
"Ain't that the truth." Cat Noir quipped.
Phoenix then had a thought, "Ladybug, I think your Lucky Charm might give us the edge we need." She said.
"Way ahead of you. Lucky charm!" Ladybug said as she tossed her yo-yo up, which created a lucky charm version of her sewing machine.
"A sewing machine? But don't you already have one?" Caprikid asked in confusion.
Ladybug then realizes what her Lucky Charm means. "I know what to do but we need some very special items. I'll go grab them." She said.
"Okay, but just to make sure we get Trixx back," Dragold said as he turned to Hydrake. "Hydrake, give us a vision, I got a sneaky suspicion that getting Akumatized was only part of Lila's plan."
"I'm way ahead of you," Hydrake said and put his hands on his head. "Foresight!" He called as his eyes glowed, seeing visions of Hoaxer at the center of the people with Cat Noir held down as she looked at Marinette, and after a little bit of talk, she rejected the Akuma as she transformed back with a smirk on her face as the vision faded. "You right, it is a trick, and I know how we're gonna get Trixx back and turn the tables on her. Here's the plan,"
They huddled up as Hydrake whispered his plan to them as they broke up. "Okay, Ladybug, you go do what you have to do. We'll set a trap for Hoaxer so I can extract her of her powers. Cat Noir, think you can distract them until then?" Dragold asked.
"No problem. I'm great at diverting new audiences." Cat Noir said while tossing up his staff as Ladybug jumped off.
"Okay, team, Let's get Miraculous," Dragold said to his team as they nodded and split up to set the trap.
After a few minutes, the team was hiding around where Cat Noir was caught and held by the controlled people of Paris as he struggled to break free, "Let go of me!" He demanded as Hoaxer appeared and walked towards him smugly.
Pigella looked worried, "Now?" She asked Dragold.
"Wait for the signal." Dragold instructed as he turned to Caspian, "You know what do to." He said.
Caspian nodded, "Tiger Camouflage," He said as he turned invisible and stealthy slinked down and close to Hoaxer, getting into position.
Cat Noir managed to get free as he started fighting off the controlled people before he turned to Hoaxer. "It's you and me now, Hoaxer!" He called before Hoaxer disappeared and appeared behind him.
"Does this look like a tete-a-tete to you, pussycat?" Hoaxer asked with a hand on her hip while Cat Noir was surrounded.
Just then, Marinette appeared on top of a car. "Lila! I'm the one you want! Here I am!" She yelled with her arms spread.
Cat Noir jumped back and landed a street light. He looked up to the others as they gave a thumbs up and looked ahead to see Sacarbella waving with a smirk as he smirked back. "Show time." He said to himself.
"You're right, Lila. I never like you. You were always a liar, but this has gone too far." Marinette said as the camouflage Caspian got behind her. "You shouldn't have akumatized yourself just so you could turn the world against me. They have nothing to do with them or the Miraculous Team. You don't need to make everyone suffer because of me," She then got down from the car, "If you wanna talk, then I've only got one thing to say to you, something only I can say to you." She stated walking forward.
Hoaxer chuckled, "Oh really? And what's that?" She asked amusedly.
Marinette kept a straight face as she took one step forward, "I forgive you," She said simply.
"You," Hoaxer started before realizing what Marinette just said, "You WHAT?!" she exclaimed in shock and horror.
"I forgive you, Lila and that's the truth," Marinette said with a smirk. "And you know what they say,"
"The Truth will always set you free!" Phoenix finished as she flew over and brought out her fans tossing them into the air. "Revelation!" She called out.
The fire then spreads all around Paris as the people of Paris all look at their Alliance rings, seeing that the revelations Hoaxer showed were fakes and they regain full control of their minds as they snap out of it.
"Now!" Terrapin called Caprikid jumped over Hoaxer's head.
"Genesis!" Caprikid called, using his brush to create a large net, as Purple Tigress, Viperion, King Monkey, and Pigella grabbed the four corners and trapped Hoaxer underneath it, "Caspian!"
"Got it! Tiger Gripper!" And then from behind Hoaxer, Caspian appeared and grabbed Hoaxer from behind, preventing her from getting away, "Dragold, extract Trixx before she gets away! Now Dragold, now!" Caspian called.
Dragold then jumped down in front of Hoaxer and got into his extraction stance, "Lie your way out of this!" He yelled as he thrust his hands forward. "Miraculous Extraction!" He exclaimed.
Hoaxer yelled out in pain as orange energy flowed out of her, "No! That's my power! I'm the real Fox Holder!" Hoaxer cried out.
"Not anymore! You were never worthy of this power! Rena Rouge is the true holder of the Fox Miraculous!" Dragold exclaimed as he kept the extraction going while Hoaxer tried to fight it the Monarch Mask appeared as it flickered.
In Monarch's lair, he was screaming in pain as he leaned on his cane. "No! No! No!" He yelled out as the ring of the Fox Miraculous began to flicker.
In Trixx's cage, she began to glow brightly as she gave a triumphant smile. "You just got tricked, Monarch! See ya soon Pollen!" She exclaimed as she and the fox necklace disappeared.
"I hope so, Trixx," Pollen said with a small smile, knowing with her brothers and sisters free, it was only a matter of time before she was too.
Back in the streets, the orange energy turned into an orange ball of light that flew out of Hoaxer's body and into Dragold's hands, "Gotcha!" Dragold said as he caught the wisp.
From the rooftop, Scarbella saw Dragold move his hands slightly to show Trixx with her miraculous, and very weak, "Trixx," Scarbella said in silent relief and joy that her Kwami was safe.
Caspian then noticed Hoaxer's ring on her finger and took it from her. "No!" Hoaxer weakly cried out.
"It's over Hoaxer. Time to give 'em the truth." Caspian said as he tossed the ring into the air, "Cat Noir?" He called.
Cat Noir then jumped and aimed his paw at the ring, "Cataclysm!" He called out, destroying the ring and releasing the Megakuma, "All yours Scarabella!" He called out.
"On it!" Scarabella answered as she jumped down and opened up her Yo-yo, "No more evil-doing for you, Megakuma. Time to de-evilized!" She declared, swinging the Yo-yo and catching the Megakuma.
"Gotcha! Bye-bye Butterfly." She said, freeing the butterfly as she then tossed her Lucky Charm. "Miraculous Scarabella!" She exclaimed.
The magical ladybugs then restored everyone to their original positions and fixed the damage Hoaxer did as said villain turned back into Lila.
"Pound it!" They all said, fist-bumping while Lila growled in frustration behind them.
At Monarch's lair, he stood up and gave a glare as his window closed. "Dark wings fall." He said, transforming back into Gabriel as he gave a glare. "Marinette Dupain-Cheng! It's always Marinette Dupain-Chain and those heroes!" He exclaimed angrily while looking at the only remaining Kwami in his clutches, Pollen. "And I'm already down to one last Miraculous before the whole team is whole again!" He said as he was worried, remembering his partner's warning. "He will not like this, but I will not fail again! They will pay for this! I swear it!" He sworn.
"Why don't you just give me to them and spare you the humiliation of defeat?" Pollen asked as she relaxed in her cage. "It will save you the pain and trouble."
"Silence you worthless creature!" Gabriel yelled in anger.
"Heh, your loss, oh great powerful Monarch." Pollen mocked while lying in her cage. "Just wait, I'll be out of here in no time."
Gabriel growled as he smashed an empty glass cage, unfortunately with his injured hand as he gripped it in a hiss of pain. "This… is nothing." He hissed while Nooroo and Pollen looked at him. "I still have time, and we are almost ready with Project Alliance," He said, remembering the plan as he stood up. "And once I do, I'll reclaim those Miraculous and remake the world in my image."
Back at the Miraculous HQ, the group was gathered in the lounge room after School was finished. Marinette and Lila had a debate on who would be the class representative and Marinette dropped out while everyone voted for Lila, as they planned to expose her later on.
Right at this present moment, Daniel brought over the Fox Miraculous to Alya, who looked so excited she pranced like a little girl, "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" Alya pleaded eagerly.
"Whoa, easy there, foxy." Daniel joked as he gave Trixx and the fox necklace to Alya, she squealed in excitement and took them faster than he could blink. "Wow, she must've really missed being Rena Rouge," He commented as Alya brought Trixx in close.
"Oh Trixx, I'm never letting you go!" Alya said as she kissed Trixx repeatedly, embarrassing the poor Kwami.
"Ugh, stop that!" Trixx demanded as she tried to push Alya away, "Look I missed you too Alya, but could you ease up a little, I can't breathe!"
Alya realized what her Kwami meant as she stopped and reeled back with a sheepish blush. "Sorry. It's just, I'm so glad to have you back," She said, giving a more gentle nuzzle.
"Yeah, me too," Trixx said with a warm smile as her stomach started growling. "But uh, do you have any grapes on you? Because this fox needs a power-up." She said with a sheepish smile.
"Sure thing, you little vixen," Alya said as she brought out some grapes and Trixx started snacking, "Now that Rena Rouge is back, Monarch doesn't stand a chance!" She declared confidently.
Daniel raised his hands to ease her, "Uh, let's do our victory dance just yet, there's still one small thing we're forgetting about," He said as he turned everyone's attention towards Zoe as she looked down sadly with her hands together.
"Pollen," Zoe said quietly as Chloe came up to her and gave her sister a comforting hug, knowing how's she feeling.
The group looked at the two sisters in sympathy as Marinette walked over to them and placed a hand on Zoe's shoulder. "Don't worry Zoe. Pollen is the only Kwami Monarch has left, and I promise we won't rest until we save her."
"But, what if we're already too late?" Zoe asked in worry, "It's been so long. We, we don't even know if she's…" She trailed off while tears started forming.
"Zoe, she's okay," Molly assured her with a soft smile. "Even if Kwamis get drained of their powers, they don't die. Like how when Plagg destroyed his Miraculous, he was just out of sync with the mortal world," She reminded her.
"Meaning that Pollen is still alive and we will save her," Luka added with a smile as Zoe turned him.
Chloe then placed a hand on her sister's shoulder. "They're right, sis. When I had Pollen as Queen Bee, I learned she's as strong as they come. You'll see her again, I know it."
Zoe wiped her tears as she gave a small smile. "You're right. We'll save Pollen from Monarch. I know we will." She said as she and Chloe hugged each other.
Felix frowned however as he crossed his arms, "But even after we save Pollen we would still have the present issue," He reminded them. "Monarch would still have the source of his power."
"The Butterfly Miraculous." Ivan nodded.
"And Nooroo," Wayzz added.
"Getting Monarch's Miraculous is gonna be even tougher considering that not even the Miraculous Extraction can retrieve a miraculous he's already wearing," Daniel said seriously with his arms crossed.
"And even if we get it back there would still be one more threat we didn't even know existed," Kara said forebodingly.
Marinette nodded, "Monarch's mysterious partner," She stated in a serious tone. "The same guy who gave Monarch those rings to absorb, copy, and transfer Miraculous powers."
"Which we still don't know anything about." Sam stated, "Except for the fact he really knows a lot about the Miraculous."
"Whom we still know nothing about. And at this point, it's impossible to know if the guy's even in Paris." Molly said.
"Could they be a rouge Guardian of the Miraculous or something?" Alya asked. "I mean, only a Guardian would know anything about modifying or doing tricks with the Miraculous abilities."
"I don't think so. If there is, Su-Han would've told us about rouge guardians and would've told Marinette about it as well," Marinette pointed out. "And the Guardians haven't been around for 200 years until my Miraculous Ladybugs brought them back after we defeated Feast.
"So who is this guy?" Adrien questioned.
"And why is he only making himself known now?" Kagami asked as well.
"And most importantly: What does he want from Monarch and from us?" Daniel asked in a grim tone.
The whole Miraculous Team was wondering the same thing, trying to find clues to the real identity of Monarch's mysterious partner, while also wondering if they were really in league with him and who or what exactly they were dealing with.
At the school, Lila crushed her Alliance ring as she walked to her locker to take out her phone to check her emails, but there were no new messages on it. She refreshed her phone, but nothing came up.
"No! Nononononono!" Lila cried out as she looked at her phone. "There's nothing here! Phoenix must've used her powers before I finished my second part of the plan!" She yelled as she growled and tossed her phone away in anger. "I hate those heroes! They ruined everything for me to get back at Gabriel and ruin Marinette's life! I hate them all!" She yelled out as she banged her fist on the locker, leaving a dent on it. "I will find another power. A power 10 greater than the Miraculous, and when I do, I'm gonna destroy, every last one of them!" She vowed as the white of her eyes turned black for a moment.
Little did she know, that somewhere far away from Paris, in his lair, Gabriel's mysterious partner somehow sensed her hatred and heard her promise of vengeance as he smirked with his eyes glowing yellow, "I welcome this truly wicked desire." He said as he gave a sinister laughter that echoed silently throughout the world.
