Hugo, Rita, and Tom were tracking their Pizza order.
"Only fifteen minutes left." Hugo pointed. "What are we going to do for fifteen minutes?"
"I have a few ideas." Rita replied.
They tried to stand on each other's shoulders, only to end up falling on top of one another.
"I have another idea." Tom informed.
The three of them spent their time making funny face faces, doing things such as pulling their eyelids, twisting their lips, widely opening their jaws, showing off their teeth, wiggling their tongues, and blowing long raspberries. The last thing on that list is what Rita rather excelled at. Tom and Hugo laughed the hardest when Rita did that.
"Rita wins." Hugo said, between laughter. "Seriously, that was hilarious."
"Hehe. Thanks." Rita giggled.
Just then, the doorbell rang, and at the door was TTL Buster and TTL Plucky.
"We got the inspiration after that pizza party we held." TTL Buster explained.
"The closest we will ever get to being friends." TTL Plucky reminisced.
Hugo took the pizza from them.
"Maybe you'll become friends again someday." He said.
The two TTL toons laughed.
"Good one." TTL Buster chuckled. "Now, how about a tip?"
"I should get the tip!" TTL Plucky yelled.
"No way!" TTL Buster yelled.
As they continued arguing, Hugo slowly closed the door and took the pizza into the kitchen. Meanwhile, Tom was talking to Rita.
"You know Rita, you should teach those faces to your siblings." Tom informed.
Rita pondered for a moment.
"Well if I don't, chances are they'll figure out by themselves." She shrugged.
Hugo walked in with the pizza, signalling the other two to come into the kitchen.
The next day, Rita went to the fox den to visit her mother and siblings.
"So, what's this you wanted to show us, sis?" Jerri asked.
"To show off a silly trick I did yesterday." Rita replied.
"Did you spray someone with silly string?" Asked Terri.
"Actually no." Rita corrected. "It's a silly face. Observe."
Rita made her silly face. She took a deep breath and held it which extended her cheeks and turned them redder than her fur. She then squeezed her cheeks while blowing a long raspberry. Her siblings nearly split their sides from laughing so hard.
"That is the funniest face ever!" Exclaimed Sherri. "Show us how to do it!"
"If you insist." Rita replied. "You've got to take a deep breath, hold it for a bit, then squeeze your cheeks while blowing a raspberry."
She and her siblings simultaneously took deep breaths in. Only Rita held her breath while her siblings began talking.
"What were we supposed to do again?" Asked Terri.
"I forgot." Sherri replied
"Squeeze your cheeks." Rita mumbled with her breath held.
"Do we sizzle sausages and eat them?" Asked Jerri.
"No, I think we pick strawberries and make smoothies with them." Terri replied.
"Don't be silly." Replied Sherri. "What we do is catch a butterfly and keep it."
What none of them realised is that for each of their guesses, Rita shook her head and mumbled "Squeeze your cheeks" while trying to keep her breath held. After Sherri's guess, Rita exhaled deeply.
"No, no, no!" She yelled. "You pinch your cheeks while blowing a raspberry!"
"Oh yeah!" Said her siblings in unison.
All three siblings took deep breaths, held their breaths, and while pinching their cheeks, let out long and loud raspberries, much to Rita's annoyance.
"I knew it was a bad idea to teach you." She sighed in exasperation.
It was about time this story got published.
