The episode begins at the Louvre, yesterday's chill zone.

Don: Teams will start in the order they finished.

It meant the ice dancers had to wait for the cadets, who finished first, to pass.

"Ha!" Macarthur said. "Sure wouldn't want to be them."

"Would anyone?" Erin asked.

*Interview break* Macarthur: I've got my eye on those ice dancers. Give them an inch, and they'll take the whole race. *End interview break*

Sanders: Take the train to Kalanochi on the Mediterranean coast and search the station for your next travel tip.

"The Mediterranean coast?" Kitty asked.

"Sounds like it's gonna be a day by the beach," Noah said. "Reminds me of when we went to Jamaica."

"And the beach movie from Total Drama Action," Geoff said.

"Beach days are some of the best," Carrie said.

Don: Teams must take the train south to Kalanka. Kalantamo skirts, the Mediterranean on the south of France, with sand so fine you want it to get in your shorts. The red cliffs are just one of many sites that make this a popular tourist attraction. Did I mention that the beaches are awesome? Because they are.

"Called it!" Noah said.

"Radical!" Geoff said.

"We're gonna have a lot of fun down by the beach," Brody said.

"You guys may have," Mary said.

"What happened?" Crimson asked.

"No spoilers!" Macarthur demanded.

"Sorry," Crimson said.

More teams began making their way to the train. Just as Dwayne Junior appears, he finds something about Carrie attractive.

"Ooh!" all the ladies cooed.

"Someone developed its first crush," Miles said.

"Wow," Carrie said. "Was I really that hot?" Carrie asked.

"Geoff thought Heather was hotter," Erin said.

"Hey!" Carrie pouted.

"That was like 15 years ago," Geoff said.

"Meanwhile," Dwayne Junior said. "It wasn't that big of a crush."

"Was it?" Dwayne Senior asked.

Dwayne Junior: Hey, uh, I'm Dwayne.

Carrie: Hi. I'm Carrie.

Just as the two get ready to shake hands, Dwayne Senior pops in.

Dwayne Senior: Nice to meet you. Dwayne Senior.

"Dad!" Dwayne Junior said. "Thanks for the embarrassment."

"Not cool, man," Brody said.

Dwayne Senior: I see you already met Dwayne Junior. This kid is a great little guy. I mean he acts up sometimes, but that happens as they near puberty.

"Hey!" Sanders said. "That's not you defending your son, that's you embarrassing him."

*Interview break* Dwayne Junior: My dad always finds a way to embarrass me.

Dwayne Senior: Oh come on. That's not true. You're just being self-conscious. Before I forget, I washed your lucky undies. *End interview break*

Kitty and Macarthur fell to the floor from laughing so much. Dwayne Junior hid his face in nothing but pure embarrassment. Dwayne Senior felt guilty for that move.

"You should be guilty for embarrassing your son like that," Sanders said.

"Still can't believe you had a crush on me," Carrie said.

"And would've found a way to build on it if it wasn't for my meddling father," Dwayne Junior said.

The Police Cadets have trouble getting a taxi, so MacArthur takes advantage of her police badge to hijack one.

"Really?" Erin asked.

"Didn't mean for the cars to crash into one another," Macarthur said.

"Nobody wanted to see the cars pile on like that," Ennui said.

Sanders: I'm a little concerned. Macarthur can be kind of um aggressive.

Macarthur: What? I dare you to say that again. *Laughs* I'm kidding. Lighten up. Seriously! Do it.

"Woah," Noah said.

"Was my temper really that out of line?" Macarthur asked.

"For a while, yes," Sanders answered. "But, I'm glad you worked it out."

"Thanks," Macarthur said.

"We all are," Carrie commented.

The ice dancers chose to take the subway to the train the racers needed, with Geoff and Brody following close behind.

Brody: Our strategy is simple. Instead of trying to figure out how to get somewhere ourselves, we just follow a team that's smarter than us, and pretty much everyone is smarter than us, so yeah. *Fist bumps Geoff*

"Not everyone is smarter than you guys," Ellody said.

More teams receive the tip of where to go next. Kitty is ready for more fun, but Emma discourages it in favor of trying to come in first place for a change.

"Maybe Sanders isn't the only one who needs to lighten up," Macarthur said.

"Yeah," Kitty said. "There's more to life than coming in first place."

While on their way to the train station, some needed directions were missing, but it set us a plan for Macarthur.

"What plan?" Geoff asked.

Macarthur: Train station! Directions now!

"That's your plan?" Kitty chuckled. "Playing Mc Bossy pants?"

Everyone laughed.

"Well played," Macarthur said. "I thought I was playing bad cop, but your take on it makes it more for the comedy stage."

The cadets arrive at the station first, where Macarthur gives a ticket for parking in a fire zone.

*Interview break* Sanders: Can you give a ticket outside of your jurisdiction? *Sees a paper* What's this? Excessive complaining. *End interview break*

"Not the best idea for a ticket," Macarthur said.

"You think?" Everyone else asked.

"And it was given to me to add fuel to that fire," Sanders said.

Don: While Owen and Noah are last to take off from the starting line, the first five teams are about to leave the station.

With the first train out, more teams are racing to catch the next train.

"Nuts!" Emma said. "We missed the first train."

"So did we," Jen said.

"Glad there are more trains where that first one came from," Owen said.

Jen: The south of France is where the most glamorous people of the world hang out."

"Racing in style has never felt beautiful," Tom said.

"You got that right," Jen said.

Tom thought he lost it, but found spray tan to put on Jen.

"Just like Anne Maria from Revenge of the Island," Crimson said.

"I wonder what she'll say if someone disses Jen's tan," Dwayne Junior said.

"She'll probably make whoever disses the tan instantly regret it," Geoff said.

The smell of Jen's tan flew right out the window.

Meanwhile the geniuses were giving directions to their driver.

*Interview break* Ellody: We weren't exactly popular in high school, but memorizing the street maps of every urban center is just as fun as going to parties.

Mary: Or dates, or being a cheerleader. *End interview break*

They thought they were paying off their choices.

"Do you even keep the parties you throw in organized fashion?" Jen asked.

"We do," Ellody said.

Meanwhile, Kitty just had to get a selfie of herself and her sister.

"Hey," Dwayne Junior said. "It's about the journey, not the destination."

"He has a point," Owen said.

"I just don't want my sister falling behind," Emma said.

"You saw me prove I didn't," Kitty said.

"She's a superstar now," Carrie said.

Meanwhile, the stepbrothers, goths, daters who begin making out again, geniuses and fashion bloggers are waiting for the next train.

Mary: You skin pigmentation looks like it's received too much dihydroxyacetone.

"I'll say," Emma said. "How much spray tan did you use?"

"You have got to spend more time with that Anne Maria chick," Brody said.

"Maybe we will," Jen said.

It then cuts to the first 5 teams, who arrived at the beach.

"Yes!" Brody said. "Beach days are wicked."

He and Geoff chest bumped each other.

"You go that right," Kitty said.

The next challenge is a botch or watch.

Brody: Who wants to swim with *Gasps* sharks!?

It then cuts to a commercial break.

"What's wrong, Brody?" Noah asked.

"You know how everyone has a fear of something?" Brody asked.

"Yeah," Macarthur answered.

"Mummies give me the creeps," Noah answered. "A visit to Egypt is evidence."

"I'm afraid of tea parties," Crimson said.

"I heard Zoey's afraid of jocks eliminating her," Kitty said. "And yet that's what happened in the semifinals of Revenge of the Island."

"Large hail makes me hide under my bed," Geoff answered.

"Airplanes still scare me a little," Owen said.

"Sharks are my biggest fear," Brody said.

What does he mean by that? Find out in part 2, which is coming soon.
