Chaos really hit the fan as a tree that Usagi was wary of started to sprout out of the ground. She knew that she shouldn't have been at the battlefield since she was not a kunoichi, yet she felt that she should be at this battle just in case. Usagi could see from a distance that a lot of ninja and kunoichi alike were being drained of their chakra, or life force, some of them rapidly. The tree reminded Usagi of her times as Sailor Moon when she faced off the Doom Tree and the two aliens, Ail and Ann. Calming her heart down, Usagi concentrated on the one thing that could somewhat save Naruto's precious people…
- With Naruto –
"Naruto," said Sasuke, "You can't right now. Don't go outside! Without my Susano'o's protection, you'd be bound up in his genjutsu too!"
Naruto clenched his hand into a fist. Ever since the war started, he couldn't always be there for his imōto. The only thing he could do was teach his imōto some jutsus that guaranteed her quick escape. He was also glad that Shikamaru was her koibito as well. Shikamaru was always patient whenever they both taught her how to concentrate on her own chakra networks to run faster. Shikamaru was also another person who he could count on to bash some of those so-called protectors that his imōto had in her past life. However, now, he was clenching his hand because he couldn't even save the one love that his imōto has in this life time. Don't even get him started on his imōto is probably in this genjutsu as well. "くそ," shouted Naruto.
"Naruto," said Kakashi, "I know that you are worried about a certain someone, demo we really should focus on the task at hand."
"I know," said Naruto who rubbed his hair in frustration, "Do you think that she is alright?"
"I'm sure that she's…," started Sakura but was interrupted.
"Who are you talking about," asked an irritated Sasuke, "And is this the time to worry about a girlfriend when we are in a middle of a battle?!"
"Ew," yelled out Naruto, "Don't say that about my imōto, teme!"
"Since when do you have an imōto, usuratonkachi," exclaimed Sasuke with a sneer.
Before Naruto could actually do anything, a golden-yellow shine flew right into Sasuke's technique. That got the four to pause on what they were going to say to one another. Naruto blinked as the golden-orange shine stopped glowing to reveal a crystal with the same color shine. Everyone was wondering what was going on, but they didn't have enough time before the crystal itself rapidly melded into Naruto's being. Naruto blinked in surprise before recalling something his imōto has done time and time again whenever he came back too injured and wasn't allowed into a hospital for treatment. "Ah," said Naruto in understanding.
"Ah," questioned Sakura.
"Mhm," nodded Naruto, "It seems as though imōto is helping out."
"So," said a nervous Kakashi, "She's nearby?!"
"Yup," nodded Naruto again before… "SASUKE! LET ME OUT! I HAVE TO SAVE USAGI FROM THE BAD ZETSU!"
"Usuratonkachi," yelled back Sasuke, "Let's plan before we charge in!"
- With Usagi –
Instead of finding themselves in a cocoon and hanging from the tree, Shikamaru was surprised to be standing right in front of his kanojo, Uzumaki Usagi. He saw Usagi glowing silver and decided to look around where they were. It wasn't a lot of cover, but he could see that the reanimated Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato, was also in their group as he nervously shifted a bit to disappear. He was surprised to see Hyūga Neji being alive, along with his father, Shikaku. 'I guess Usa-koi saved them… somehow,' thought Shikamaru with a smile.
"Wasn't I dead," questioned Neji.
"Neji-onīsama," cried out Hinata as she hugged Neji.
"Hinata-sama," said Neji before looking at everyone in confusion.
"How did I get here," questioned a surprised Minato.
"Same here," said Shikaku who was looking around at the battlefield.
"What is the last thing you all know about," questioned Shikamaru.
Different scenarios were Shikamaru's answer. He sighed as he thought how troublesome everything was right now. Sure there is a war going on, but he had faith in Naruto saving them all. He just didn't count on his kanojo to save most of them, if not all of Naruto's precious people. He was just happy that his mother was not in this war, even though she may be sleeping inside one of these many cocoons. Stopping his train of thought, he turned to Usagi before quickly going over to her and catching her. "Usa-koi," said Shikamaru.
"Shika," said Usagi, her breath coming in small pants.
"What were you doing," questioned Shikamaru as everyone present turned to the couple.
"To help you all win against your enemy, of course," said Usagi.
"Mendokusē," grumbled Shikamaru with Usagi giggling at his catchphrase.
"Usagi," questioned Minato before throwing Shikamaru into his dad, "My baby girl!"
Usagi blinked as she saw someone who had the same hair color as Naruto. When she was finally told that this was her father in a reanimated body, Usagi couldn't help but shudder inwardly. She didn't have enough powers to actually revive her father fully, but at least, she had a bit of time with him before the war ended and he goes away. The others, however, were wondering what Usagi was doing that she almost fainted. "So, Usagi," said Ino, "What are you doing here?"
"Uh," said Usagi who was still being held by her father, "Will you believe me if I told you that I have unique powers to give to selected few to help Naru-nī and his team?"
"Hontō," exclaimed an excited Lee.
"Hai," said Usagi, "Demo, you have to choose among yourselves on who will be helping."
"Well, if you can," said Hinata nervously, "You should give some of your powers to Naruto. After all, he's the one that's fighting."
"Oh," said Usagi, "You don't have to worry about that. I already sent it to him."
The others blinked in surprise at what Usagi said. They, besides Shikamaru, wondered what kind of powers Usagi would impart to them, but Shikaku was the one who asked how many powers she could give. Usagi answered that she can give them nine different powers due to two of them are already claimed. Shikamaru could guess that one of them was already with Naruto while the other… Shikamaru blushed slightly at the implication Usagi said. He knew that one day he would have a different power, but he didn't think that it was now. "Okay," said a thoughtful Shikaku, "Since we have more than nine, we need to narrow it down on who can help Naruto."
"I should stay out of it," said Minato, "I kind of don't have arms at the moment."
"Shikamaru is definitely going," said Ino, "He's the smartest one here!"
"Ano," said Shikamaru and Usagi together.
"Nani," questioned Shikaku.
"Shika-koi already has a power from me," said Usagi sheepishly, "The first one is Naruto and the second is Shikamaru. So, you still have nine."
Shikaku looked at Shikamaru in surprise. He didn't know that Usagi already gave Shikamaru a mysterious power that only Usagi and a selected few were privy to. They all were still wary about what kind of powers Usagi was going to bestow upon them, but they knew that this war should be over as soon as possible. They all looked at each other to see who would want to step up to help. Minato, on his part, was semi-glaring at Shikamaru. 'No one is too good for my precious baby girl,' thought Minato fiercely.
"Neji should go," said Kiba, "As well as Gaara."
"Kakashi, Sasuke, and Sakura should also get a power from you," pointed out Shikamaru.
"That's only five," pointed out Kankurō.
"I volunteer to go as well," proclaimed Lee.
"Hinata should go as well," said Shino, "Why? Because Neji and Hinata have the Byakugan, which may help in the long run."
"Two more," said Tenten.
"I think Obito should receive one," piped up Minato.
"Isn't he an enemy," questioned a sweat-dropping Usagi.
"That's a terrible idea," proclaimed the Rookie 11 and the Sand Siblings.
With a lot of negotiations and convincing, Minato finally got them to let Obito gain one of Usagi's powers. He, too, was wondering what kind of powers his dear little girl possessed since he learned that she was not a kunoichi from Naruto. They talked more about who should be the last person that should gain a power and decided on a dead person… one Senju Hashirama. Minato was delegated in finding and retrieving Hashirama around the so-called Divine Tree. He didn't take that long as only five minutes passed, Minato being back with the First Hokage, Hashirama. "So, your daughter has powers we don't know about," questioned Hashirama, "And is willing to let us borrow said powers to end Zetsu and Madara?"
"Yup," nodded Minato, "I'm not sure what powers she has, but she has nine powers to give out."
"Alright," said Hashirama, I don't know what's going on, but lay those powers on us."
"Hai," said Usagi before closing her eyes once more.
As her eyes closed, she didn't notice that everyone surrounding her was gaping at her for glowing silver. Shikamaru was the only one not gaping as he hovered around his kanojo just in case something happened to her. A flash of light blinded the group temporarily before looking on to seeing ten different crystals surrounding Usagi. Usagi looked at each one with such sadness that the others were wondering why she had that type of sadness. For all they knew, Usagi never battled harshly like they have before. Shikamaru, on his part, breathed out his catchphrase before grabbing one of the crystals that was gold in color. They were all about to comment about that until Usagi's calm voice brought them back to what was going on. "Hinata," said Usagi, "I impart the sapphire crystal of the planet Mercury, the Planet of Ice. Please take care of my precious crystal."
"H-Hai," said Hinata just as the Mercury crystal melded into her.
"Lee," said Usagi, "I impart the topaz crystal of the planet Venus, the Planet of Love and Beauty. Please take care of my precious crystal."
"With my life," proclaimed Lee as the Venus crystal melded into him.
"Neji," said Usagi, "I impart the dark blue amber crystal of the planet Uranus, the Planet of Wind. Please take care of my precious crystal."
"Hai," said Neji with conviction as that crystal melded into him.
"Hashirama," said Usagi, "I impart the aquamarine crystal of the planet Neptune, the Planet of Water. Please take care of my precious crystal."
"Should have asked Tobirama instead," joked Hashirama as the crystal melded into him.
"Gaara," said Usagi, "I impart the white crystal of the Stars, the meaning of Light. Please take care of my precious crystal."
Gaara, who didn't like to talk all that much, nodded his head in acceptance. Usagi continued on with the last four crystals surrounding her: the fluorite crystal of the planet Saturn, the Planet of Silence, to Sakura, the garnet crystal of the planet Pluto, the Planet of Time and Space, to Obito, the emerald crystal of the Planet Jupiter, the Planet of Lightning and Thunder, to Kakashi, and the ruby crystal of the Planet Mars, the Planet of Fire, to Sasuke. As three out of the four crystals heard their actual holder's commands, the three crystals raced into the battlefield towards the ones that would wield them until the battle was over, leaving one crystal to still be with Usagi. "So, no one is going to comment about how Usagi here called upon PLANETS for each crystal," questioned an incredulous Kiba.
"Mendokusē," muttered Shikamaru, "Let's just go help Naruto. As soon as this war is still going on, our focus should be on that."
"Ryōkai (Understood)," said those that now had new powers coursing through their veins.
- With Naruto –
"W-What is this," exclaimed a surprised Sakura.
Team 7 was getting ready to beat Zetsu and Madara. They, however, were stopped just before Sasuke could take down his barrier when three new flashes of light came through said barrier. In front of Sasuke, Kakashi, and Sakura were the three lights, now crystals, floating in front of them. Naruto stared at the three crystals in surprise before laughing out loud. He could always count on Usagi to make things a bit simpler for his fight. He just hoped that the three will take care of the crystals. It is, after all, a part of his imōto. "Looks like you three get to have some powers from imōto," said Naruto.
"Eh," questioned Kakashi in surprise.
"I'm sure she also gathered others to help as well," said a thoughtful Naruto.
"Naruto," growled out Sakura, "What is this?!"
"Well, these are Planetary Crystals," said Naruto.
"And those are," questioned Sasuke in exasperation.
"Certain planets in our Solar System have certain powers," said Naruto, "I'm sure that imōto thought carefully on what kind of powers you guys get until this battle… no, this war is over. Also, take good care of those crystals. They are a part of imōto."
That last statement gave Sakura and Kakashi a start. They were entrusted by Usagi to hold a part of her unique powers. Naruto was so close in imitating Shikamaru's catchphrase, but he knew that Usagi's wasn't troublesome. It was her past that was troublesome to both Naruto and Shikamaru. With a sigh, Naruto looked at each crystal carefully before nodding his head. "Imōto is the greatest," said Naruto, "She gave you three powers that can help your already unique power sets."
"Such as," questioned Sasuke.
"Well, that one," said Naruto who pointed at the emerald crystal, "Can amplify Kakashi-sensei's lightning attacks. That one… Naruto points to a ruby crystal. …Can amplify teme's fire attacks. And the last one can amplify Sakura-chan's healing techniques."
"Wow," said Sakura in surprise, "Your sister sure is smart."
Naruto smiled just as each crystal didn't give any warning to the recipients. Each crystal shot into each member of Team 7 faster than they can stop them, melding into said individual. Sasuke was surprised to feel burning heat from his person. Shaking his head, Sasuke realized that they should focus more on what was going on as he lowered his barrier. It was there that they witnessed Zetsu killing off Madara and was sucking all of the chakra from those that were hanging off of the Divine Tree. They watched in horror when a pale-skinned woman with soft facial features, extremely long, sweeping white hair, and possessed white clear eyes emerged from whatever they witnessed. "Ōtsutsuki," started Sasuke.
"Kaguya," finished Naruto.
"The Usagi no Megami (Rabbit Goddess)," proclaimed Zetsu from within one of Kaguya's sleeves.
"Say what," exclaimed Naruto in anger, "She is NOT the Usagi no Megami, dattebayo!"
"Naruto," sweat-dropped Sakura, "Is this the right time to…?"
"We're here," proclaimed Lee.
Everyone was surprised to hear Lee's voice as they turned towards said voice. There, in front of everyone, were the chosen people who were glowing certain colors. Naruto looked at them in awe because this was the first time that he saw all of the crystals' auras. Naruto only knew about them because Usagi would have a sad smile when talking about them. They were a part of her after she saved her protectors from the entity Chaos, reviving them, and having parts of their crystals within her. Though, in time, Naruto and Usagi noticed that those little parts of the other Planet's crystals grew into their own sized crystals. He, however, sweat-dropped as he had a sudden thought. "Oi, mina," exclaimed Naruto, "Did Usagi even teach you how to access those powers?!"
"I gave them a crash course, Naruto," shouted back Shikamaru who ended it with a mumbled, "Mendokusē."
"Rock Lee, ready to spread Venus' Love," exclaimed Lee with exhilaration.
"Right," said Naruto who sweat-dropped even more as he mumbled, "Can't believe he gets Love and Beauty powers."
"Who is that," questioned Gaara with his arms folded.
"Ōtsutsuki Kaguya," said Naruto with a frown, "The so-called Usagi no Megami."
"Yeah," said Shikamaru, "We know that's totally false."
Everyone blinked at Shikamaru's statement as Naruto nodded his head in agreement. The both knew that Usagi was the only Usagi no Megami, especially when her powers were now at its highest peak once more. He was kind of peeved at Zetsu and Kaguya for beseeching his imōto's name in vain. Shikamaru could feel the anger at this imposter because he too was peeved about his kanojo's real title. Both Naruto and Shikamaru glowed almost the same color before a beam of light hit Kaguya, sending her into a mountain. "I am surprised Shikamaru also did an attack," said Neji, "He usually is the one who's levelheaded."
"Love can do that to you, I guess," said a shrugging Hashirama.
"Gomen," said Shikamaru, "Demo, I needed to do that before I did another impulsive thing. Impulsiveness is more Naruto's style anyways."
"Hey," said Naruto offended.
"It's true," said Shikamaru with a smirk, "Anyways, I am banking on you doing impulsive things, Naruto."
"You can count on me," said Naruto with a thumbs-up, "Though, you should probably give a crash course about Usa's powers to Team 7."
"Mendokusē," grumbled Shikamaru once more.
As Naruto and the others went and fought Kaguya, Kaguya had wide eyes as she couldn't even absorb their attacks like usual. It was like their attacks weren't even chakra to begin with. Zetsu, on his part, tried to help his mother defeat the annoying ninjas that weren't even in the Mugen Tsukuyomi (Infinite Tsukuyomi). Zetsu didn't even know how they weren't caught in the technique as he thought everyone, besides Team 7, were in said technique. It didn't help that, for some reason, his mother could not absorb their chakra. "Meteor Shower," called out Gaara.
"H-How did he DO that," questioned a surprised Sakura and Hashirama together.
"His crystal literally is from the Stars," said a deadpanned Neji.
"D-Demo," started Naruto in a panic, "Was that even WISE of her to do that?!"
"She thought so," said Shikamaru with a pained expression, "Didn't know she could do that until after she gave a crystal to Gaara."
"W-What's going on," questioned a nervous Hinata.
"We'll explain after the battle, Hinata," said Naruto before he too launched at Kaguya.
Naruto actually got to form his signature Rasengan. Yet, what gave everyone a start was how the Rasengan swirled. Instead of an intense blue color, it was almost looking at a little Sun by the colors it produced. Naruto smirked as he started to rush towards Kaguya with this new color and actually slams the ball into Kaguya's side. Everyone could hear the silent scream that Kaguya let out from her facial expression alone right before golden shadows weaved around like thorns, splintering Kaguya's clothes even more. "What was that," exclaimed everyone.
"Rasengan: Sun Style," said a proud Naruto.
"Sun," exclaimed everyone, besides Shikamaru.
"What did you think I had," questioned Naruto with confusion, "You thought my crystal was a bobble with no Planetary Powers like you all?"
"Good job, musuko," proclaimed Minato, startling everyone once more.
It seemed as though Minato also joined in the party, though he was watching over Obito. Naruto twitched an eyebrow because he KNEW that Usagi was somewhere in this big battlefield. He knew that if his father was here, then Usagi somehow did another miracle that bestowed Minato a type of power. Considering that Minato has both of his arms and hands again, Naruto was going to totally lecture Usagi once this was over. "Pops," said Naruto, "Don't tell me that you left Usagi alone."
"Actually," said Minato with a sheepish look, "She's behind me?"
"Nani," growled out Shikamaru and Naruto.
"Calm down," said Minato with a sweat-drop, "She wants to be here because she heard Naruto loudly proclaim that Kaguya wasn't the Usagi no Megami."
Naruto and Shikamaru sighed in exasperation as they knew Usagi would have taken offense to it. The both knew that Usagi didn't like to fight, but if it was to help her precious people OR if it was someone proclaiming themselves under her powers, Usagi would fight. They could spy Usagi healing Obito a bit before a garnet crystal melded into him. That burst in power let Obito to sit back up and look around the battleground in surprise. "Uh," stuttered Obito.
"No time to explain, Obito," commanded Minato, "Just concentrate on that new power flowing through your veins and help us END Kaguya."
"M-Minato-s-sensei," stuttered out Obito.
"Concentrate on the new power, huh," said a thoughtful Kakashi before… "Chidori: Jupiter Style!"
"Hakkekūshō: Uranus Style," called out Neji.
"Hakkekūshō: Mercury Style," called out Hinata nervously.
"Venus Power: Omoterenge (Lotus Flower)," called out Lee enthusiastically.
"Star Shower," stated Gaara.
"I always wanted to try this," said a happy Hashirama before… "Neptune Power: Suiryūdan no Jutsu!"
"Wait," said Obito, "What's my power?"
"Pluto, the Planet of Time and Space," explained Shikamaru tiredly, "Mendokusē."
"Okay," said Obito as he concentrated on the new power, "Pluto: Bakufū Ranbu!"
"Omoshiroi (Interesting)," said Sasuke with a smirk before… "Mars: Gōryūka no Jutsu!"
"Saturn," called out Sakura as she produced violet threads surrounded her.
"Mendokusē," muttered Shikamaru before calling out his own powers that had nothing to do with shadows, "Kogane no Kesshō! Hashō Kōryū!"
Everyone stared at Shikamaru as a golden crystal-like dragon appeared from what he called out. They could also see that Shikamaru was slightly glowing the golden color of said crystal. It wasn't long that Minato surprised everyone when he called out an attack that had Elysion into the mix. Sasuke was shocked to hear Minato also call out Kuroyume (Black Dream) afterwards because that attack was mostly what his belated onīsan used as an attack. They all could see their attacks hitting Kaguya and Zetsu straight on, their attacks actually hitting her and not being absorbed. Yet, what shocked them all even more was Usagi going towards Naruto as she glowed silver, Naruto glowing golden-orange. Naruto really wanted to mutter Shikamaru's catchphrase as Usagi grabbed Naruto's hand with a smile. She may not try to cause troublesome things for her boyfriend, but Naruto knew for a fact that Usagi is a tricky girl, especially towards her own older twin brother. Calling out towards the Taiyō no Kesshō (Sun Crystal), Naruto could vaguely hear Usagi calling out towards her own Ginzuishō. Twin columns of light illuminated the sky before hitting the red moon above them all. "Is that supposed to do something," questioned Gaara.
"Look at the Moon," shouted a surprised Obito.
"I-Is the Moon clearing the red from itself," questioned a surprised Hinata.
"I think we all know what those two columns are doing then," said Shikamaru with a smirk.
"Speak for yourself," said Minato, "I shouldn't be having this many heart attacks! I'm dead!"
"That's what you get for having two unpredictable children, Minato," said Hashirama teasingly.
"Anyways," said Kakashi, "It looks like Naruto and Usagi aren't done yet."
"Huh," questioned everyone before…
"Jitsugetsu Futago: Tengai Ryūsei (Sun Moon Twin: Skyline Meteor)," called out the twins.
Everyone saw orbs forming around the twins. The orbs in nature were supposed to be black, yet with the powers of the two crystals, it was a mixture of silver and gold with a hint of orange. Each orb was flung at Kaguya and Zetsu as the pair tried to dodge or absorb the chakra within the orbs. One orb actually hit Kaguya in the stomach and STAYED there. The enemy tried to also disappear. That gave Obito a pause before he concentrated on HIS Planet's power to make sure that Kaguya and Zetsu stayed within their plain of existence. That actually helped as more orbs hit and stayed on Kaguya and Zetsu. Everyone, besides the twins, were surprised that the orbs expanded around Kaguya and Zetsu, now leaving a big orb in its place. "Sasuke," said Naruto, "We can now use the seal!"
"Can figure that out for myself, usuratonkachi," sneered Sasuke.
"Yeah, well, we're going to be using this seal so that Kaguya will stay in place long enough for her to become moon dusted," called back Naruto.
"What on Earth are you talking about, usuratonkachi," growled back Sasuke.
"Just trust me, teme," said Naruto with a roll of his eyes.
Sasuke and Naruto then rushed forward with two different hands wide open. Minato was surprised that Naruto just did that when Usagi was right next to him. He, however, couldn't comment as Sasuke, with a black crescent moon on his hand, and Naruto, with a sun on his hand, both hit Kaguya on the side. Naruto smirked as the seal was doing its job. He, however, knew that this would be different because Usagi was there… and she was an enraged hime from the Moon. When he heard Usagi's soft voice call out Silver Moon Crystal Eternal Power, Naruto swiftly dislodged from Kaguya and Zetsu, knocking Sasuke out of the way in said process. A bright, silver light suddenly engulfed Kaguya and Zetsu before the light died down to reveal a huge pile of dust on the ground. "And that's what I meant by moon dust, teme," scoffed Naruto.
"Your imōto had THAT much power," questioned a surprised Sasuke.
"To tell you the truth," said Naruto, "I'm surprised that Usagi didn't…
"Usagi," cried out Minato and Shikamaru.
"Spoke too soon," muttered Naruto before he too rushed towards Usagi.
As the light died down, Usagi was on the ground as well, unconscious. Naruto and Shikamaru could also see a silver aura pulsing in the air before everyone, besides the two, glowed planetary powers before each borrowed crystal came out of their friends and comrades. Everyone then watched as the crystals zipped towards the fallen Usagi and started to meld back into her body once more. With each crystal going back in, Usagi was pulsing a different aura until the last one was in Usagi. A huge pulse of aura came from Usagi before said aura sunk into the Earth. They blinked in shock as the Divine Tree was also uprooted, so to speak, and broke down in multi-colored dust, leaving their fellow comrades onto the ground unconscious. "Well, I'm definitely going to lecture her," said Naruto once everything was done.
"Mendokusē," grumbled Shikamaru, his arms around Usagi's prone body.
"All's well that ends well," said Kakashi who was looking at a still alive Obito.
"I… think that we should find our other comrades, don't you," questioned Hashirama.
"Second that," said Minato before he turned to Naruto, "So, Naruto? What kind of crystal Usagi has?"
"She used to have the Moon Crystal, the Ginzuishō," said Naruto nonchalantly as everyone started to run towards their comrades to see if they are alright, "Now, she has the Kosumosu no Kesshō (Cosmos Crystal)."
"What does that mean," asked Sakura in exasperation.
"I guess I could say it since Usagi showed her unique powers," said a pondering Naruto.
"Let's wait to reveal her secret when we are more secured," said Shikamaru who held Usagi bridal style while they were going towards their precious people.
"Fine," pouted Naruto.
- A Few Days Later –
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE'S THE REINCARNATED TSUKI NO HIME?!"
